Report: The Muslims can’t take a joke from David Letterman, late night host threatened by terrorists…

A member of the jihadist website urged the Muslim followers to cut the tongue of David Letterman, for making a joke about an al-Qaida leader.

More on it, here.

Well, lets hope they catch these guys fast. I bet Letterman is fearing for his life a little bit. Don’t be surprised if he responds to this on his show though.

Cool Photos: Jeff Bridges reunites with cast of “The Big Lebowski” last night in NYC!!!

Not only that Jeff Bridges celebrated the release of his debut solo album yesterday, he also reunited with the cast of “The Big Lebowski” last night in NYC. Everybody was there except for Joel and Ethan Coen who directed the film, they were no shows…but John Goodman, Steve Buscemi, John Turturro, and Julianne Moore were there. T. Bone Burnett was also there. While T. Bone Burnett didn’t score the music for the film, he produced the film’s soundtrack and picked the songs for the movie.

They were there to celebrate the release of the Limited Edition of “The Big Lebowski” Blu Ray/DVD which also came out yesterday.

Yesterday must be a thrilling and exciting day for Jeff Bridges. As you can see in the pics, Jeff is smiling really wide so he must of had that big smile all day. Congrats Jeff!

“The Big Lebowski” is one of my favorite comedy films by the way. I love the film too much. I plan to pick up Jeff Bridges new album tomorrow.

See the photos of the Big Lebowski reunion, here.

John Goodman is looking amazing. He’s definitely been working out and eating right ’cause every new pics that surface of John Goodman online, he seems to be getting thinner and thinner. So congrats go to John in his fitness success.

Report: Mick Foley defends John Cena…

There’s a lot of John Cena haters out there, but Mick Foley isn’t one of them. Mick Foley took the time to blog about defending John Cena’s wrestling skills and his work ethic in the wrestling business.

Read what Mick has to say about Cena, here.

I’m not much of a Cena fan either, but after reading what Mick wrote and thinking about it a while, I guess I’ll have a little change of heart with Cena. I’m kind of agreeing with, Mick, surprisingly.

Like Cena or not, he is a workaholic. Cena worked harder more than any other wrestler today. You also can’t deny that Cena had many great classic moments in the WWE. So will Cena become WWE Hall of Famer down the road? Absolutely!

Cena came a long way to get where he is right now. People maybe getting tired of WWE shoving him in our faces but WWE didn’t give him this for nothing. Cena is also a great mic worker. Some wrestling fans claim that there will never be a wrestler that will be in the same spotlight as The Rock and Stone Cold. Sorry, but I’m gonna have to say that Cena is already the next Rock/Stone Cold. Think about it.

I think Cena’s feud with CM Punk is the best feud in WWE in a long while. Both of those guys are on fire. Many wrestlers of today leave WWE ’cause of injuries, and some even quit, but Cena sticks around.

Cena’s not a bad performer that some people say he is. I guess I respect him.

Actors turned musicians over the years…

An actor’s movie career can certainly help their music career if they play an instrument or sing. In celebration of Jeff Bridge’s releasing his debut solo album today, I thought it would be fun to name all the actors turned musicians over the years. Some of you may even be surprised of some of them

Here’s the list, I’ll name 15 of them in no order:

  • Billy Bob Thornton – He’s released a few albums of his solo career and a few albums with his other band, the Boxmasters.
  • Steven Seagal – The 80’s action star is a guitar player and singer. He had his own songs featured for his own films and released some albums. He’s been playing with his band Thunderbox, for years.
  • Johnny Depp – Yep, Johnny is a guitar player and have collaborated with other bands & artists. He used to play for his two former bands, The Kids and another band called, P.
  • Kevin Bacon – He’s in his band with his brother Michael, called the Bacon Brothers.
  • Scarlett Johansson – She released an album full of Tom Waits covers a few years back.
  • Joaquin Phoenix – He sang and played guitar for the movie “Walk the Line” but shortly after, joked about a so called rap career which he never released an album. His rap career turned out to be a hoax. Who knows, maybe someday he will do a real album down the road. Not a rap album, but maybe he can do a rock n’ roll or a country album.
  • Jack Black – An actor turned musician who actually has some talent. He’s a good singer and I love the Tenacious D. I wish they would get together to make another album.
  • Adam Sandler – His music career became very popular when he did “The Chanukah Song” on SNL, later he got himself a record deal and released his debut album, “They’re All Gonna Laugh At You” in 1993.The album have been certified platinum 2x’s.
  • Jared Leto – He has his band with “30 Seconds to Mars” and they’re still together. Making new music and touring.
  • Bruce Willis – This action star is a harmonica player and singer. He has also released a few solo albums but he haven’t released a new album in a long while.
  • Gary Sinise – He plays bass guitar for the Lt. Dan band, which is named after his character from the film, “Forrest Gump”.
  • Clint Eastwood – Clint is a pianist, and he has composed his own music for some of his films that he directed. He have never released any albums of his own yet.
  • Jamie Foxx – Jamie released his first album “Peep This” in 1994 just a few years after his first film, “Toys”, came out.
  • Gwyneth Paltrow – Her music career started to get recognized after her movie, “Country Strong”. She never really released any full length albums yet, but she has released a few singles.
  • Brittany Murphy – Before her death, she was going to launch a music career but she only did one song with Paul Oakenfield. The name of the song is “Faster Kill Pussycat”, you can hear it in youtube.
I’m sure there’s plenty more but these are the most notable ones. I’m probably going to get Jeff Bridge’s new album this week.

RIP: Robert Johnson

73 years ago today, the music world, the music world lost another music legend. That is legendary bluesman, Robert Johnson. Known for hits such as “Travelling Riverside Blues”, “I Believe I’ll Dust My Broom” and “Sweet Home Chicago”. Robert Johnson inspired the careers of Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Keith Richards, and more. Robert died at 27 years of age, it was long rumored that he was poisoned by a jealous man because Robert had an affair with his wife. RIP Robert.

It’s sad that some people can’t let the past be the past, I’m about moving forward in life…

The title of this topic is true. The title of this topic says it all. I’ll admit it that sometimes the past does come back to haunt me. I’ll admit it, that I’ve made my mistakes in the past. I’ve had my share of bad karma. I’ll admit that I’ve said things in the past that may have hurt some people and may have ended friendships because of it. Some people just can’t let the past be the past. I can. That’s what I have been doing. Completely ignoring the past and moving forward.

Some people just don’t change and they will always think of you the same way, no matter how good of a person you could be. If people want to still think of me as this internet badguy, that’s alright with me. Fuck ’em. They need to move forward with their own life, while I move forward with my own.

Enjoying life and being strong is what I’m all about now. I’m tired of people thinking they have control of who I am as a person, they have no right to tell me how to say things and have no control of who I am as a human being. If people don’t like who I am, again, fuck ’em. It ain’t the end of the world.

I’ll do and say as I please. Being who I want to be. If you think about the past too much, then you need help. Moving forward is how you live a positive life, that’s what I’m trying to do. If anybody brings my past up, it’ll probably get ignored.

Now that the summer season of popcorn action and superhero flicks is almost over with, here comes the Fall season where all the serious drama films will start coming out.

Here is a top ten list of Fall movies, I’m looking forward to seeing this Fall, in no particular order:

  • The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo – This one I’m looking forward to the most. I really can’t wait to see Fincher’s version of this movie and I really hope he doesn’t disappoint us. I hope he did a good job with it.
  • Mission Impossible IV: Ghost Protocol – Did I say this movie out loud? This actually looks like a very good movie, and I’ll probably see this one in theater for sure.
  • Appollo 18 – It’s another one of those found footage movies with the likes of “Blair Witch”, “Paranormal Activity”, etc. It’s about two NASA astronauts who go on a mission to the moon and you find the real reason why they never came back to Earth. I’m looking forward to this.

  • Moneyball – A movie starring Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill, it’s a baseball movie focusing on the Oakland A’s manager, Billy Beane who is successful on putting together a baseball club by employing computer-generated analysis to draft his players. When I first heard about this movie, I wasn’t so sure about it. Then I saw, the trailer and was impressed. I’m there!
  • Paranormal Activity 3 – Loved the first two P.A. films, I will probably see the third one in theater too.

I wanted to add Steven Spielberg’s “War Horse” but I didn’t have enough room for this list, I’ll probably end up seeing that one anyway.
That’s all, Enjoy the list!
