I'm a musician, singer/songwriter, blogger, writer, poet, bodybuilder, movie lover, music lover, video gamer, history/political buff, conservative/republican, etc. I like to do a lot of things.

I want to learn to sing better…

I’ll admit it that I would like to sing better. Have a better vocal range with a little more emotion and power. Pretty soon I plan to start buying instructional books on singing. If you don’t sing good and want to get better, there is always a way to get better. Everybody says that Metal Method’s “Vocal Power” by Jim Gillette is the best vocal instruction out there, so I will probably start with that one. I sing ’cause I like it.

Speaking of Metal Method, it’s a great guitar course too. Probably the best out there. I will probably get some of those too. I just want to get better on both guitar and vocal. I’m trying my very best!

BREAKING NEWS: Julian Assange turns himself into police in London, refuses bail on rape charges…

Well, Julian is finally arrested. He is the owner of the controversial website, Wikileaks. Back in August of 2010, he raped a woman and harassed another shortly after. He is also being accused of molestation.

Read more on the story, here.

Honestly, it is good news that he’s finally caught. I know he  has a huge fanbase and he is very popular to a lot of people, but the weird thing is that people will defend the guy no matter how horrible his crimes are. The guy turned himself in and refused bail, so it’s looking like he’ll be put away for a long time. The guy is a douchebag, and a lowlife asshole, and people love him? In facebook and twitter trend, I’m seeing a lot of posts that his fans say he should be freed. Julian is a monster, and psychopath, much like Roman Polanski and OJ Simpson. Everybody supports Assange and everyone thinks Mel Gibson is a badguy? See what’s wrong with the picture?

I guess everyone loves the Wikileaks website too much.

Sorry to all supporters of Julian Assange, but this asshole got what he deserved and hope he rots in prison.

Thought: More on why I avoid working out through fitness DVD’s…

Why do I avoid doing workouts through fitness DVD’s? Because the answer is really quite simple. It’s all pretty silly and lame. I don’t see how people can stand in front of a TV and follow the workouts by someone teaching you things. Plus, I don’t really care for these professional hollywood like fitness DVD’s with really good picture, boring music, and the coaches training the “actors” working out. I’m sorry but anybody that buys these things ’cause they’ve seen the advertisements on TV and on the internet, if they actually believe these workout programs work is a stupid idiot, in my opinion. I don’t put my money toward this stuff for a very good reason.

I mean, why would you want to go through your fitness life, living on these discs in your home? Wouldn’t it be more special to learn fitness your own way and be self taught? That’s where I come from. I want to do things my own way and my own style. I don’t need Tony Horton or Jillian Michaels telling me how to do things. I don’t need to work with famous fitness trainers who are not actually in front of you in person, yet, they are teaching you on the TV instead. See how silly that sounds? I would rather have real coaches. Fitness people with a lot of experience who are local tell me what to do. If I want to learn something new, I go to the gym owner in Greenwich, he’ll train me new workouts when asked.

Why do people go through nationally fitness lessons with Tony Horton, Jillian Michaels or Gunnar Peterson? It’s because people want to get that perfect hollywood body that they will never have. People think they will get that look if they get “10 Minute Trainer” or Pp90x”. A fantasy world, type of thing. Why support national fitness celebrity trainers, when you should be supporting local trainers? There are plenty of personal trainers around upstate NY that will be willing to help you lose weight and build muscle.

Also, there is a difference between being a BeachBody coach and personal trainer, both are totally different. In my opinion, don’t take this the wrong way, I don’t think the BeachBody Coach thing is real. You don’t actually become a real coach, it’s just an online fantasy thing, that’s the way I look at it. If I wanted to help people get fit and muscular, I would rather become a certified personal trainer instead.

Like I said in a post before, I learned fitness & bodybuilding through books, the internet (there’s a lot of free fitness websites on here), and I learned by watching other people in the gym. Sometimes people even teach me things. This is why I never go through those DVD sets that you see off advertisements. I can’t believe that people actually go through this shit. You don’t need to. I’m obviously no fan of TeamBeachBody. I even like to give people fitness tips & advice, but I just do it for fun, I don’t really plan to do it for money.

I’ll continue this topic tomorrow…

Please help Russell Crowe get “Master and Commnander II” green lighted at FOX!

Actor Russell Crowe tweeted: “If you want a Master and Commander sequel I suggest you e-mail Tom Rothman at Fox and let him know your thoughts”.

Tom Rothman’s e-mail @ 20th Century Fox is: rothmana@fox.com

If you would like to help Russell out on getting, “Master and Commander II” green lighted, that would be great.

I think the film deserves a sequel ’cause it is a really good movie. I will write 20th Century Fox an e-mail tonight.

“The Walking Dead” Episode 6 – “TS-19” Season Finale review (major spoilers)

So I watched the last episode of “The Walking Dead”, season finale titled, “TS-19”. This post will include some major spoilers so if you haven’t seen this episode yet. Don’t read this post.

First things first, I was pretty impressed with Season 1. There wasn’t one episode that I didn’t hate. I loved them all. This is indeed the best show on television. Last night’s finale was just great. Most TV shows have bad writing, but not this one. The writing is really good which makes the show so entertaining and watchable. The actors did a great job, but I was most impressed with Laurie Holden, who plays Andrea. Laurie Holden is such a talented actress and so mind blowing, that I think she definitely deserves a Golden Globe award for best TV actress for this show.

On with the episode, the show is turning out to be a mix of horror, suspense, drama, and science fiction, all into one. This episode will explain in detail of how live humans transform themselves into the living dead, which they call them, “walkers’ in the show. Rick Grimes and the rest of the cast, hide out from the walkers at the CDC building for protection and safety, which the building is owned by Dr. Jenner who is the only one left alive in the building. Jenner invites the cast into the building for showers, food, drinks, and hospitality. Later in the episode, Jenner explains the cast how live humans turn into dead “walkers”. He explains that everything inside the human body shuts down, and explains how the TS-19 experiment restarts the brainstem, and the human brain doesn’t come back. Jenner later explains that the electricity and water will run out, when it does, the building will automatically self destruct in 30 minutes. The cast wants to leave the building, but Jenner locks them in, warning them if they go out there, they will be killed by the walkers, so he thinks they are better off dying in there. Of course, the cast disagrees, they get scared and want to survive still, so they force Dr. Jenner to open the door which he did. Everyone leaves the CDC building except for Jacqui who stays in with Dr. Jenner. Dr. Jenner refuses to go outside because he made a promise to his wife who also died and was turned into a walker. The episode ends with the CDC building exploding with Jacqui and Jenner being left inside.

One thing I left out, is when the Shane and Lori relationship continues when Rick is not around. Shane has an obsessive crush on Lori (Rick’s wife), but the love triangle continues without Rick knowing about their relationship. Question is what will happen between Lori and Shane in Season 2? Will the two actually fall in love and Lori splits with Rick? Or will Rick confront Shane about it?

I was expecting another cast member to die and turn into a zombie but that didn’t happen. They already lost Amy, a few episodes back so they don’t need to lose another one this soon. In Season 2, I am predicting a few things. I have a feeling that Michael Rooker’s character, Merle Dixon, is still alive and not a walker yet. I think Merle sawed off his own hands just to get out of that building alive and Merle might return for Season 2, to get back at Rick for revenge. I also have a feeling that another major character will turn into a walker in Season 2. I think Rick himself will turn into a zombie at some point, but not right away. I think there’s a chance that Shane might get turned into one in Season 2.

I can’t wait for Season 2, and I will buy season 1 when it hits DVD, so I can watch the 6 episodes all over again. This is a very well done show. I wish there could be more good TV shows like this.

RANT: People have the worst social skills, I’ve ever seen in Facebook…

Everyday I see people in facebook posting status’s that are so crazy, delusional, selfish and out of this world. People like to rant about various things in facebook. People like to rant about things going on in their personal lives, the entertainment industry, things going on in the news, politics, etc. When you reply to their status’s and when you disagree with people on certain things, they get all pissed and defensive. People will either delete the comment or remove/block you from facebook. I usually don’t reply to other people’s status’s too much, but I’ll reply to something only if I think it is worth a response. My responses to people wasn’t negative or rude at all, all I did was disagreed with people and spoke my honest thoughts. That was it. I figure that if people get pissed at what you say, then I am probably right and they couldn’t take it.

You see, I have a personal facebook page. I have a facebook page so I can keep in touch with family that are out of state or around my area, friends that I know that are around Greenwich, local musicians that I know from the music scene and fans/supporters that know me personally. I don’t add people randomly anymore like I used to. I now only use facebook to add people that I know only.

When I rant about things in my facebook, I let people speak their mind on anything. Why? I truly believe in freedom of speech. If people want to disagree with me on a status of mine, that’s fine and good. I don’t take things seriously and personally. That’s what discussion and debating is all about. Being able to be brave about discussions and not act like a little pussy by deleting comments or removing/blocking people. I don’t do that to people. I never really liked to delete or block people. I only do it if I have a very good reason to do so. I let people discuss their minds on anything but I don’t tolerate death or bodily threats, cyber bullying or things that gets out of hand.

The thing about facebook is, when you post a status publicly for the world to see, that gives the right for people to reply to it however they want to, whether it’s a negative or positive response. If you’re going to rant about things, fine, but don’t be so fucking uptight about things when people disagree with you. You are not always right about everything you post in your status so I wish people would get the hell over themselves. Just shows that people can be such assholes in the world of social networking. A big virtual soap opera world, that’s all it is.

I like discussing things with people when they act like an adult about it and not take everything personally. Most of the people in my facebook are cool for that reason.

Not a Cool Video: Damon T. Dana, detained by police after stalking Sly Stallone, again!!!

This was the same guy that was arrested for going to Sylvester Stallone’s home a while back. Here is he again at Cafe Roma, in Hollywood, actually meeting Sylvester Stallone in person this time. Although Sly accepts the meeting and was nice and polite to Damon, you can tell by the look of Sly’s face, he is a little scared and distracted. After doing a little research on who Damon T. Dana is, he is a guy from Germany who resides in Los Angeles, California. Damon claims to be a movie star and a professional boxer. Damon dreams of having a role in, “CSI: Miami” and now he wants in, “Expendables 2”. Check out his youtube channel, here. He also has a facebook. He is pretty obsessed with Sly.

As you can see, Damon is another one of those delusional whack jobs who thinks they are famous in their own minds.

Nothing wrong with achieving your career dreams, but stalking celebrity actors like Sly isn’t the way to go. Here is a message to Damon, leave Sly alone.

Thought: Team Beach Body and P90x is not cheap…

Ok,  here we go, after doing a little research on the pricing of BeachBody and P90x. Here is the info:

Both Tony Horton’s 10 Minute Trainer and the P90x, cost $39.95. Subtotal is $79.90, yes, there is shipping&handling too, folks, that costs, $29.90. So that rings up a total of $109.80.

And I’ve also looked up that getting started into this TeamBeachBody coaching thing, costs another $39.99. Once you finish those programs, you’re going to want to get into more that Beach Body owns: Tony  Horton’s “One On One”, “Insanity”, “Body Gospel”, etc. which will all cost more. That’s what they want, that’s all they want to do is take more money off of ya.

Yes, there is “Money Back Gauruntee”, but doing research on that, they keep the Shipping and Handling when they send the refund, which is $29.90. Does that spell another ripoff? There is a big YES, right there. Their Shipping&Handling is way high.

My gym membership is $39 a month and it’s way cheaper than all this.

To get a jacked body: It requires dedication, learning and keeping up the hard work. You don’t need to go through all this. Do exercises in good form, with proper resting and proper eating, you’ll be able to reach your goals. What is proper eating? That means eating healthy most of the time. High protein, low carb diets throughout the day with 5-6 small meals a day. You have to get used to eating the same things all the time and have to get used to eating healthy food that taste like cardboard. I’m also willing to bet that BeachBody doesn’t give you a real meal plan, they want healthy food to taste good when healthy food isn’t supposed to taste good. You have to deal with eating eggs every morning, eat chicken breasts, fish, fruits, vegetables, etc. Getting six pack abs and lowering bodyfat is made in the kitchen, not in the gym. You have to eat to lose the fat. Doing lots of cardio and too much ab workouts is the same as overtraining.

This guy, has a lot to learn.

Brock is going to WWE RAW in Albany, on Dec. 27th…

A family member of mine won tickets off a radio station to see Monday Night RAW at the Times Union Center on Dec. 27th and she’s giving them to me since she knows I’m a huge wrestling fan. I’m definitely going. I like seeing WWE shows live in person, it’s definitely much more fun seeing their shows live than on TV! Am I ready to see John Cena hog up the whole show, the Nexus and Michael Cole reading Anonymous GM e-mails off a laptop? Yes, I guess so. Hopefully, Triple H returns to WWE before then so I can see him live in Albany, that would rock.

The main event booked for that night is a WWE Championship match between: Randy Orton vs. The Miz vs. Wade Barrett, but we all know that John Cena is somehow going to be involved in that match. Hopefully Vince McMahon will be there to perform if he returns to TV before then.

Shall be an exciting show and looking forward to it. Should I bring a sign to hold up for the TV? Not sure, I’ll do that or not. Maybe.

Blogger defends TeamBeachBody and fails miserably at it…

This blogger, tries to defend the TeamBeachBody company and fails miserably at it, in my opinion. A little later today, I’m going write a more detailed post, on how TeamBeachBody is a waste of money. It’s all a scam and they are doing nothing but ripping people off. If you look online, there are other customers that don’t go through TeamBeachBody anymore, and complained about bad experiences with them. This guy does a terrible job at defending BeachBody ’cause all he seems to be doing is trying to get me to get into it like he already did in facebook a few times before. Talking me into get into P90x or other BeachBody instructional material and trying to get me to like it, like a salesman. These are the kind of stuff I would not be involved in. Promoting these instructional lessons which I refuse to get into.

Like I said, I have successfully got a ripped body on my own, without having to pay much. This guy’s got it all wrong about the pricing for BeachBody instructional material, it actually cost way more than a cheap gym membership. I can prove it too.

Look at this, does it look like I got this look through TeamBeachBody instructional stuff? New progress pic, just took it today.

NO! I didn’t get that look above through any fitness company at all. I got it done all by myself. No personal trainers, no instructors. No friggin packets you get in the mail. That picture above was all ME! I DID IT!

My pecs are getting a little better by training them only a strict one day a week, doing just a few exercises for the chest. BeachBody or Boflex didn’t give me that look.

I didn’t do it through 10 minute – One on one bullshit. Train 1 body part a week is all you need for 3 sets, 10-12 reps each. I don’t workout too much ’cause you don’t want to do too much. TeamBeachBody just overtrains you.

More on this later.
