Not too long ago, Jack Black spoke to MTV News that he would love to do a “School of Rock 2” only if Richard Linklater directed it. He even teased that Mike White “might” be the screenwriter again. Turns out that Mike White is writing a script for the sequel.
Last Sunday, Mike White the man himself was attending a LAFF panel, and he revealed the news that he “IS” writing the script for the sequel of “School of Rock” but he is refusing to give out the plot. Mike also confirmed that there is a sequel to the film coming. While he is writing the script, he just finished a first draft and already turned it in to see if the film makers like it enough to get it made.

At the end of the first School of Rock movie it ends while the credits are rolling, Dewey Finn and Ned Schneebly (played by Mike White)Â open up their very own music school. My guess will be Dewey Finn’s adventurs with his new music school that he owns continues on from the last one where it left off.
In the sequel of “School of Rock”, I hope it won’t be another battle of the bands storyline. It’s time for something new. As long as Richard Linklater is still directing it, the original kids of the School of Rock band, Sarah Silverman and Joan Cusack are still in the sequel, I’ll go see it. I’m sure Mike still has his own character Ned Schneebly in the sequel too.
The question is, will Richard Linklater still be on for the sequel? I’m sure he’ll speak out on this soon now the sequel of the film is getting media attention.

While director Roman Polanski is still at large and a wanted man for sex with an underage girl, Polanski is still making films. Nicolas Cage and Pierce Brosnan are both set to star in Roman Polanski’s thriller titled “The Ghost”.

It amazes me that Hollywood actors are still willing to work with Polanksi no matter what serious crimes he committed in his past. Polanski is a sick pedophile.
Polanski should not be allowed to make movies. Shame on Cage and Brosnan, they’re probably just doing this movie for the money and to keep working on films, they probably do not care about Polanski in reality.
I would not see this film no matter how good it looks. I won’t support a child molester.

Action heroes Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger will appear alongside the Bollywood stars Ashkay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor in Incredible Love, the story of an Indian stuntman who takes Hollywood by storm but cannot find true love there. The film will be the first Indian production to be shot at Hollywood’s Universal Studios and will have the highest budget in Bollywood history: more than £11m.
Sly’s official website just confirmed the news that Arnold and Sly starring in that Bollywood film is true. I don’t think it’s a cameo though, Sounds like Arny and Sly are pretty much part of the leading stars of the film. No one ever said it was a cameo, just a thought. When they say “Star alongside” sounds more than just a cameo to me!
Since this is an Indian film, I’m sure they’ll release it in the U.S. also since it will be filmed at Universal Studios Hollywood.
The dream of Arny and Sly starring in a movie together is a reality!

Well, I did wind up seeing “Get Smart” in theater this afternoon. A new comedy film that was adapted from the classic TV series.
Steve Carell plays Maxwell Smart who is Agent no. 86 known as a control agent. His mission is to fight against an evil crime nemesis known as Kaos. He partners up with Agent 99 with name not known but the character is played by the sexy Anne Hathaway to help along his mission. Maxwell always wanted to work with Agent 23 who is played by the Rock Dwayne Johnson but really never had the opportunity that he wanted. Maxwell must stop the evil Siegfried (played by Terence Stamp) from taking over the world. Maxwell has been given special gadgets to help along his mission.
My thoughts on the movie? I FUCKING LOVED IT!!!! It was actually one of the better new comedies in many years! This film has a mix of action and comedy both. The acting in the film was actually really good. Although the Rock isn’t in this movie much, he still stoled the show. I loved Anne Hathaway. Of course, Steve Carell is always awesome. Steve’s character Maxwell is very similar to his character Michael in “The Office”.
But in keep in mind though that the Rock is not the only wrestler having an acting role in the film. Current WWE star, The Great Khali is in the film also. The Great Khali is the one that Maxwell befriends with in the film, the big giant Indian guy. The Great Khali whose real name is Dalip Singh is an Indian wrestler who plays himself in “Get Smart”. Dalip Singh was one of Terence Stamp’s goons in the film. The Great Khali was actually great in this film although he is kind of boring in WWE. And guess what!!!! Khali speaks English in this film when he doesn’t in WWE!!! How ironic is that?
There is also a hilarious cameo appearance by “American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest that got me laughing!
The film was very enjoyable. I didn’t get bored once, it was entertaining and I had a smile on my face pretty much throughout the entire film and had a few good laughs. The action scenes were even good too. It’s about time a decent comedy came out!!! This movie deserves a sequel!!!

“Get Smart” a new comedy starring Steve Carell, Dwayne Johnson and Anne Hathaway, surprisingly tops the box office. It didn’t break any world records but it did well. “Get Smart” made $39.2 million while Mike Myers new movie “The Love Guru” pretty much flopped. M. Night Shyamalan’s new movie “The Happening” also flopped big time.
It’s about time Steve Carell got a successful comedy since the “40 Year Old Virgin” eh?

I have plans of going to the movies tomorrow on my day off of work and I’m thinking about seeing “Get Smart” don’t know. I also want to see “The Incredible Hulk” and “You Don’t Mess With the Zohan” so I’ll make up my mind tomorrow when I decide something. I’ll let you know what I see by reviewing the film.

For many years people has been wanting to see Sly and Arnold star in a movie together, well look like that dream is actually coming true. The two will star in the Indian Bollywood film about the Indian stuntman being filmed in Universal Studios in Hollywood. The leading stars are, Ashkay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor both Indian actors, Sly and Arnold will star along them. So sounds like it’s going to be more than just a cameo. The name of the film will be titled “Incredible Love”.

While Sly is still pretty popular in the U.S., he is very huge overseas. I know Sly is pretty huge in India, this is why Sly is doing a foreign film ’cause he has a lot of die hard fans overseas.
If it’s true Arnold has been signed to this role, that’s a sign that he may return to acting full time when he’s done being governor.

Ain’t It Cool exclusively reported that Quentin Tarantino’s long awaited World War II epic “Inglorious Bastards” will be two seperate films. Tarantino spent years and years writing the script, since having finally finishing the script, the film will be too long so they had no choice but to make it two. While Tarantino has announced he will start production on the film after all these years, he is still keeping the casting under wraps.
It is still being rumoured to this day that Sylvester Stallone has been signed to play the leading role in “Inglorious Bastards”, Sly and Quentin both has denied it.

If Sly Stallone is not in this movie at all, then I won’t see it in theater. Seriously. This movie has Sylvester Stallone written all over it, everyone wants to see him in this film. Quentin and Sly should give what the public wants and let Stallone star in it. Everyone knows this is a perfect project for Sly that’s why he’s been rumoured to be in this for a long time. I hope Quentin gets Sly for this.
It’s no secret Quentin is a huge fan of Sly’s work. Quentin has been trying to get Sly Stallone for his movies for a long time. In many of Quentin’s interviews, I remember Quentin saying he tried to get Sly for movies like “Reservoir Dogs”, “Jackie Brown” and “Pulp Fiction” but Sly either turned them all down or wasn’t available when Quentin tried to ask him. I’m sure you Quentin fans all know that Quentin talks about Sly in interviews all the time.

While the band Motley Crue announced back in 2006 they had reached a confirmed deal with MTV/Paramount Pictures to produce a biopic film about the band’s life and career, the band has decided they want out of the MTV deal. The film will be adapted from their best selling autobiography “The Dirt”. The band is now looking for new partners to make the film with. The boys in Motley Crue has finally came to a realization how disgraceful MTV has become today, and MTV station is partially responsible for making Motley Crue big and famous.

Will Poulter the leading star of the “Son Of Rambow” joins the cast of the third “Chronicles of Narnia” film. The third “Narnia” film is titled, “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of Dawn Treader” (which is actually the fourth of the Narnia novels). Poulter will be playing the cousin of the Pevensie children in “Narnia”. Poulter will be joining the cast of a returning Ben Barnes as Prince Caspian and of course the rest of the original cast who plays the Pevensie kids.

I love the books so much and so happy they are making a film on all the novels!
Considering the fact that “The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe” is the second of the Narnia novels, I’m willing to bet they will do the rest of the movies first, then they will make the first Narnia novel “The Magician’s Nephew” into a prequel film. I think the reason they started off on “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” first is because the Pevensie kids are not in the first book.
I’ll always be looking forward to more “Narnia” films!
