As you can see filming for Star Wars 7 have finally begun!!! Also, notice how they are very careful at not revealing too much info with these photos. I’m almost positive that JJ does not allow the cast and crew to take photos and videos so mobile phones and other devices are not allowed in the studios so I don’t think you’re gonna see too much leaked photos of filming.

Only the official Star Wars page will reveal a little bit at a time. They’re still secretive on the “subtitle” too. I’m sure the subtitle is written on that clapboard in the first photo but as you can see, they wouldn’t show the whole thing.

I pray they do a good job with the film.

Harrison Ford finally offered for “Blade Runner 2″…

Alcon Entertainment claims that Harrison Ford have been offered to reprise his role as Rick Deckard for “Blade Runner 2” and it seems official, I take it? For a long while, Harrison himself has expressed a lot of interest in coming back to the role if Ridley needed him. I’d take this news with a grain of salt for now so don’t get excited yet. I won’t believe it until Harrison says so himself.

http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Blade-Runner-2-Officially-Looking-Bring-Back-Harrison-Ford-43036.html

Looks like Harrison wants to play all of his well-known roles for one more time before he gets too old. He’s game for playing Han Solo again. He said he’s game to playing Rick Deckard again. He’s also trying to get Indiana Jones going again.

One role I’d love to see him come back to is Jack Ryan ’cause I thought Harrison played the best Jack Ryan. I thought, “Patriot Games” and “Clear and Present Danger” were great flicks.

I thought “Blade Runner” was great so hopefully Harrison returns. I’d like to see him and Ridley reunite.

Watched the film “Capote” last night…

Last night on Netflix, I watched the film “Capote” for the first time ever. I’ve seen most of Phillip Seymour Hoffman’s films but this one I’ve never seen.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0379725/

It’s based on the real life story of Truman Capote writing a book about the murder of a Kansas family. I was pretty much blown away with the film and it was incredible. Powerful flick. This movie makes me want to read the book, “In Cold Blood” and I probably will.

No matter what you think of Phillip’s drug problems, he was an extremely talented actor. The guy could play anything.

This is a great film if you’re looking for something to watch on Netflix.

Zack Snyder reveals Ben Affleck in Batman costume and new Batmobile!!!

When Ben Affleck was first announced to play Batman for the upcoming untitled, “Batman vs. Superman” flick… movie fans weren’t very kind and had very critical opinions of Ben in the role. Maybe all those critics will have a change of opinion to something more positive now that this photo finally came out. I think Ben looks really good as Batman and I think other fans would agree now.

This is why you can’t badly judge early, ya know?? šŸ™‚

I think the new Batmobile looks cool too.

I kind of figure WB’s was still gonna still use the Dark Knight Batman which is predictable but the new suit does look a little different than the previous Batmans, though. The ears are a lot smaller which is what I like.

I think Ben has what it takes to play this role! I think he’ll kill it and will do a good job. I’m not a huge fan of Ben’s liberal politics but he always have been a good actor and director… I’ve always respected him.

I was hoping they would add some color to the Batman suit ’cause Batman had various styles of suits over the years. I was hoping they would ditch the black armor and rubber suit but guess not. Ben still looks badass, though!

Now lets see a photo of Gal Gadot in the Wonder Woman costume next please. šŸ™‚

Zack Snyder gives us sneak peek on new Batmobile for “Batman vs. Superman”!!!

Zack Snyder just dropped this tweet today. Giving us a little sneak peek of the new Batmobile that Ben Affleck will be driving for “Batman vs. Superman” film. In all the previous Batman films, the Batmobile was huge protected with black armor. Look like they’reĀ not doing it that way with this new Batmobile. They’re going old-school it looks like.

Carrie Fisher aka Princess Leia shows off recent selfie…

Carrie Fisher just dropped this selfie pic of herself on twitter. She’s still in London filming “Star Wars Episode VII”??? Probably. As you can see she’s showing off a little cleavage and she has the big boobs.

After seeing this pic, they’ll definitely make Princess Leia hot and sexy again for “Star Wars VII”. Will she wear the bikini again to thrill the fans???

She does look a little different now than she did in the past. Did she get a little plastic surgery work done on her face over the years, though?

She’s still looking beautiful, though, don’t get me wrong.

Film Review: “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”…

Starring: Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Redford

Directed by: Anthony and Joe Russo

Today, I decided to go to the mall to check out a movie just to get out of the house and do something. I have been wanting to see “Captain America: Winter Soldier” film for a long while which this is the second Captain America movie by Marvel. Here is my review…

Plot/synopsis:Ā For Steve Rogers, awakening after decades of suspended animation involves more than catching up on pop culture; it also means that this old school idealist must face a world of subtler threats and difficult moral complexities. That comes clear when Director Nick Fury is killed by the mysterious assassin, the Winter Soldier, but not before warning Rogers that SHIELD has been subverted by its enemies. When Rogers acts on Fury’s warning to trust no one there, he is branded as a traitor by the organization. Now a fugitive, Captain America must get to the bottom of this deadly mystery with the help of the Black Widow and his new friend, The Falcon. However, the battle will be costly for the Sentinel of Liberty, with Rogers finding enemies where he least expects them while learning that the Winter Soldier looks disturbingly familiar.

I like Captain America. He has always been one of my favorite superheroes. Probably because he’s one of the very few superheroes who never hid his identity like most superheroes do. However, this movie here doesn’t really leave off from the first Captain America film. This film actually takes place after the events of the first “Avengers” movie.

Getting right to it, I was very surprised on how great “Captain America: Winter Soldier” really is. I think it’s pretty much the best superhero movie of the year so far. The film is very politically driven, though. It focuses on current politics of what’s going on in the USA today. It covers government corruption, government spying, drones, etc. It also focuses on the fight for American freedom. I wanted to see this movie ’cause the movie reviews were saying this was a pretty conservative movie and it was; however, this film had a lot of liberal politics in it too so I guess there’s something for both parties if you’re into politics.

On with the film, I was pretty impressed with the story and plot. The movie actually had a “plot”!!! It’s not just an action movie and a popcorn flick, it definitely had a story to tell which most superhero films are missing these days.

The action scenes were a lot of fun and a total surprise to watch as well. It was nice to finally see Sam L. Jackson get into action scenes ’cause you don’t see him in action scenes that much. I don’t want to reveal spoilers on what he does but Sam does get into violence. Even Robert Redford got into a little bit of action. Speaking of Robert Redford, he has been one of my favorite actors for years and he killed it in this movie like he usually does. It was nice to see Sam and Robert in the same movie together. Two Hollywood legends!!! Acting was really good all-around by the cast. Chris, Scarlett and everyone else was cool.

The Winter Soldier villain was a badass villain too. He was pretty dark and scary looking which you don’t see much in superhero movies.

I thought “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” was a phenomenal film. Definitely check it out!

Two thumbs up!

JJ and Lawrence Kasdan gives fans Star Wars Day greeting…

This is pretty cool. JJ Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan gives fans a Star Wars Greeting while they’re just starting work on “Episode VII”. They are STILL tight-lipped on the subtitle and synopsis but all they said was they are pretty excited to be working on the next movie. They look it too. You can tell by the look of their faces that they are pretty stoked! I mean hell, who wouldn’t be stoked? It’s freakin’ Star Wars, man!

Man, I was hoping for a Star Wars Day greeting from Mark, Harrison, and Carrie… that would have made Star Wars Day even more exciting!

Happy Star Wars day…

While I am a Star Wars fan like a lot of you out there… I am more of a fan of the original trilogy. I love “A New Hope”, “Empire Strikes Back” and “Return of the Jedi”. I love the original editions of those movies when they first came out in theaters. I never cared for all the new versions of the original trilogy. I refuse to get the original trilogy on BluRay ’cause I don’t want Darth Vader screaming “Nooo” at the end of “Return of the Jedi”.

I was never a big fan of the prequels; although, “Episode III: Revenge of the Sith” was a pretty good one. The film was still a mess but pretty decent.

And like I said before, I’m more into “Star Trek” than “Star Wars” but I still respect “Star Wars” for it’s legacy and all that. I grew up on both “Star Trek” and “Star Wars”. I like “Star Trek” more ’cause it’s true science-fiction and their stories aren’t as childish.

As for “Episode VII”, I haven’t seen the official Star Wars page drop any new announcements yet today. I was expecting them to announce the “subtitle” and the “synopsis”. Maybe they’ll make those announcements later this evening.

“Empire Strike Back” will always be my favorite Star Wars film. Could “Episode VII” be just as good now that Lawrence Kasdan is helping out with the writing? Hoping and praying.

I’m just happy that George Lucas is not involved with “Star Wars: Episode 7″…

Even if I’m kind of skeptical of JJ directing, “Star Wars: Episode VII”… I’m just very happy that George Lucas is not involved in any way. So good riddance! If George was involved with “Episode VII” whether directing, writing or producing… George would have ruined the next movie just like he ruined the prequels. George retiring for good is just a great opportunity to make it a better film with new people! You’ll see a major difference with George not being involved. I’m sure JJ will try to bring in some of George’s style in the next film but that’s gonna be hard to do. George’s style can’t be matched. JJ will have a hard time copying his style so most of the movie will end up being JJ’s style. You can betcha there will be plenty of CGI and lens flare effects which JJ is obsessed with. Even though George Lucas is not involved, I’m sure GeorgeĀ will still help him a little bit. Maybe George will stop by when they’re filming and he could give everybody some quick filming tips??? He probably will visit the cast and crew on set.

I’m glad the next movie is not gonna be based upon the Expanded Universe stuff too. The Timothy Zahn books are great but I wouldn’t want JJ to make the next movie based on those books. I would want a completely new and original story too.

I’m sure JJ has what it takes to make everybody happy. He’ll make Star Wars fans proud. At least, I hope so. I hope JJ will make me proud and make me walk out of the theater with a big smile on my face. That’s what we need with Star Wars again.

I know it may seem pretty silly to bring all the characters back but come on, this is freakin’ Star Wars. If they made a sequel after “Jedi” and not bring any of the older characters back at all, then fans wouldn’t care about the new movie. This film is a Star Wars celebration. A blast from the past. They have to bring the original gang back and to mix it in with new characters too. I’m hoping and praying that JJ will make this a great Star Wars film. Could it be the best Star Wars film since, “Empire Strikes Back”???

I’m looking forward to seeing what Adam Driver’s villain character is gonna look like. He’s obviously gonna be a Sith character similar to Darth Vader and Darth Maul. Will Adam be wearing black armor and a costume or will he be wearing alien make-up? We’ll have to wait and see.

On a side note, if you want to seeĀ Daisy Ridley in her short film, “Blue Season” see the video below. Daisy Ridley is one of the new cast members in the casting photo JJ released, that’s who Carrie was talking to in the photo. From what I heard Daisy has never been in a big movie before. I think “Blue Season” is her first film. Star Wars is gonna make Daisy a huge star for sure.

I’m looking forward to seeing more “Episode VII” news on May the 4th this Sunday. I’m pretty sure they’re gonna reveal the subtitle and the synopsis next. Maybe they’ll reveal what characters the new cast will be playing too. I’m interested in seeing what role Max Von Sydow is playing. Sydow is probably either playing a Master Jedi for Luke or an imperial villain.
