Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker confirmed for “WM30″…

I did end up watching all of RAW last night. Even if I took a long break from watching RAW, I thought last night’s show was actually pretty good! Except for the return of Hulk Hogan in the opening segment. That was terrible. Hogan looks so old in the red and yellow and he’s terrible on the microphone these days. Hogan didn’t do much last night. Just did the opening intro of RAW… he’s not a part of any feud or storyline, he just announced that he’s the host of “WM30” but I’m pretty sure Hogan is gonna have a match at “WM30” as well. Who is he gonna have a match with? Not sure but rumors going around that it might be against Cena.

Anyway, I’m glad that Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker have finally been confirmed for “WM30”. Remember, Lesnar and ‘Taker’s confrontation at one of the UFC ppv’s way back in 2010? From there, it was obvious they were gonna have another match together but you never know when. I’m glad their match is gonna be at “WM-30”. Brock and ‘Taker already had a match during the Attitude Era but they could end their feud at ‘Mania. Even though Brock and ‘Taker’s feud on TV is all storyline, they really don’t like each other in real life.

Last night’s RAW was pretty good. Not a bad show.

Not sure if I will watch this year’s ‘Mania, though. I’m done with ppv’s I think ’cause they are pretty pricey and can’t afford to watch ’em. I love wrestling and UFC but I can’t afford to watch ppv’s on a monthly basis. I don’t know how everybody does it.

Brock’s “Wrestlemania 28” predictions…

I don’t really care for this year’s “Wrestlemania 28” card. This year is crap. I’m only watching Wrestlemania for three matches that I’m looking forward to. Yes, that’s right, only three. They are: “Undertaker vs. Triple H – Hell In a Cell with Shawn Michaels as special guest referee”, “John Cena Vs. The Rock” and “CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho”. The other matches I’m not really too excited for.

The last couple of Wrestlemania’s haven’t been that great lately. Wrestlemania was only special during the 80’s and early 90’s during the attitude era, but since WWE became way too mainstream and family friendly with the PG rating, professional wrestling is no longer the same anymore. RAW really hasn’t been good anymore. I still watch Wrestlemania every year ’cause I still respect the performers and the business, even if I don’t like their creative direction.

Anyway, on with my predictions of the Wrestlemania 28 card for this Sunday, April 1st:

  • The Rock vs. Cena: This match never happened before, a dream match finally come true. This match was announced a year early but the year flew by fast. The Rock & Cena feuded all year long to help hype up the match. No matter what you think of the Rock and Cena, you know, they are going to put on the best match, and this will be an exciting one. I think Cena will take the win on this one. It will help keep the feud going and might help give Cena a heel turn. The Rock will challenge Cena for a rematch for next year’s ‘Mania.
  • The Undertaker vs. Triple H “Hell In A Cell” with Shawn Michaels as special guest referee: This is their third Wrestlemania match together. Everyone thinks Triple H will end the streak, but I think Undertaker will win, of course. The streak will stay alive until the Undertaker dies. This will be a good match though. Undertaker and Triple H has been in a Hell In a Cell match together before, that wasn’t on a Wrestlemania ppv.
  • CM Punk Vs. Jericho: I can’t wait for this one ’cause these are two performers that can actually wrestle. This will be one of the best matches of the night for sure. I think Jericho will take the win this time ’cause they’ve been making Jericho look like a loser ever since he first returned to WWE. It’s time for Y2J to come out on top!
  • Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus: This should be a pretty good match but it doesn’t feel like a Wrestlemania match. I don’t care for Daniel Bryan. Sheamus I do like though. I hope Sheamus gets it.
  • Cody Rhodes Vs. Big Show: Somehow I believe this match will be a quick one. This is one of the current feuds I don’t really care for and I don’t like Cody’s new gimmick. As far as who I think will win this one, probably Cody will beat Big Show with some help of some in ring interference.
  • Randy Orton vs. Kane: I don’t really enjoy this feud either. While, I’m glad that Kane put the mask back on, I don’t like how Randy is the mid card at this year’s Wrestlemania when he should be main event material. I think Randy will win this one ’cause it seems like WWE never gives Kane a chance to win on a big PPV.
  • Kelly Kelly & Maria vs. Beth Phoenix and Eve (Divas Match): Usually Diva matches on Wrestlemania are pretty quick. Beth Phoenix and Eve will get it for sure.

While I’m sure most of the ppv will suck, I’m sure there will be 1 or 2 really good matches. I’m surprised there are no celebrities being a part of a wrestling match this year, weird. Last year Snooki was a part of Wrestlemania, this year, no celebs. I think I know the reason. The answer is simple ’cause of the Rock. The Rock is not just a wrestler now, he’s a Hollywood movie star and full time celebrity. I guess WWE was afraid that other celebrities being part of matches would get overshadowed by the Rock.

I’m sure there will be celebrity appearances though, celebs has always been a huge part of Wrestlemania for years.

Thought: Speaking of Brock Lesnar in WWE, who would he feud with???

The reason that Brock Lesnar returning to WWE rumors started back up again is because of this Undertaker & Lesnar stare down that happened at UFC 121 last year, remember that? Now that Lesnar says there is a definite possibility of him returning to the WWE through the IGN.com interview, now there are talks of who is Lesnar going to feud with when he returns.

Will it be against the Undertaker? Probably, yes.

I would also think that Lesnar would be feuding with who ever has the WWE Title. Brock would want to go for another title run in WWE if he comes back.

Seriously though, in answer to the question on who I would like to see Lesnar feud with in WWE… here is my top 5 list…

  1. Undertaker – Of course, he would be my first pick. I’d like to see a closure to this feud myself and it should happen at Wrestlemania.
  2. Vince McMahon – Vince and Brock had a real life feud out of WWE, which is one of the reasons why Brock left. Could they bring it into a storyline? Yes, I can see it happening. I think a Vince and Brock feud would be pretty entertaining.
  3. Randy Orton – Here is one guy that Lesnar never had a feud with before in WWE. I could see it happen easily. If Randy is WWE Champion at the time Lesnar is back, I can see Lesnar go after him for the title.
  4. CM Punk – Another guy that Lesnar never feuded with before. I can see these guys putting on a great wrestling match on a ppv.
  5. Mark Henry – Mark Henry is the big 500 lb. guy known as the “World’s Strongest Man”. While I don’t really enjoy two big guys feuding against each other, I would enjoy this one if this ever happened.
Lesnar returning would be good, ’cause I think this is what the WWE needs. Like Lesnar or not, he creates a lot of attention in the media. I’m sure Lesnar coming back would also bring Paul Heyman back as Lesnar’s storyline manager.
My question is would Lesnar be a heel or a babyface in WWE when he returns? If he does, that is. I would prefer him being a heel, but the fans are going to be happy to see him back, they’ll be cheering for him like crazy, so he’s probably gonna be a babyface anyway.

Report: Sting finally explains why he turned down Wrestlemania 27 with match against the Undertaker…

The reason it’s Triple H vs. The Undertaker for this year’s “Wrestlemania” is because Sting turned it down. Triple H was just the backup if Sting turned it down. Turned out, Sting did. Yes, the WWE asked Sting to make his WWE debut at Wrestlemania, but why did Sting turn it down? He still doesn’t trust how he would be used by WWE. He still supports WWE however, he wants that Triple H vs. Undertaker match to happen and he’ll be wondering about it even though he won’t be watching.

Read more on the story, here.

It’ll be great to see Sting in the WWE, but I don’t think he will ever work for them. He has no personal hatred against Vince and the WWE, it’s just how he feels.

Thought: If Triple H breaks the Undertaker’s streak, then that would destroy wrestling overall…

This is obviously the most talked about match at “Wrestlemania 27”, which is just two weeks away on April 3rd. Will Triple actually break the Undertaker’s streak at Wrestlemania this year? Will it be 18-1?

On this week’s RAW, Triple had another promo out in the ring. He said this match is better than any other championship match and it would be a career defining moment to break the Undertaker’s world record “Wrestlemania” streak.

As you all know, the Undertaker’s undefeated “Wrestlemania” streak is the most important thing in wrestling history. If Undertaker’s “Wrestlemania” streak gets ended this soon, then wrestling would be destroyed over all and all the power would handed to Triple H. While I am looking forward to this matchup, I just don’t think Triple H will win and end the streak. NOT GONNA HAPPEN.

The Undertaker will keep the streak going until he retires. It would be sad if Undertaker loses the streak this soon. It would certainly disappoint the wrestling industry as well. Triple H shouldn’t be the guy to end the streak. This is the Undertaker’s 18th match at Wrestlemania and in my opinion, the undefeated streak will keep going for a long time.

Some of you may ask, “Why are Triple H and Undertaker acting like this is their first match when they had a match for Wrestlemania X-7?” The reason is, there’s a lot of new wrestling fans these days. They wouldn’t know about WWE history much. The longtime fans like myself, would know about that match, but Undertaker and Triple stepping in the ring at WM-27, would be new to the newer fans though. I like how they are not mentioning their old match.

If Undertaker loses the streak at WM-27 this year, I probably will give up watching WWE for good. It would be devastating if that happens. If Undertaker were to lose the streak, they need to make it happen at the right time. Now it’s not the time to lose the streak, way too soon.

If Undertaker ever did lose the streak, it would indeed create controversy all over the net and would be a shocker to the world. I just don’t see it happening, so there’s really nothing to worry about.

In other Wrestlemania thoughts, there are actually a few other matches I’m looking forward to. I’m also looking forward to Jerry Lawler vs. Michael Cole and the Divas tag match that Snooki is in. I’m disappointed there’s no “Money in the Bank” ladder match this year though. There is usually a “Money in the Bank” ladder match every year at Wrestlemania. I’m not sure why they scrapped it.

Looking forward to WM-27 in a few weeks. After the WM-27 card is done, I’ll predict my winners.

Thought: Brock Lesnar still can return to WWE, just not wrestle!!!

Rumours are still hitting hard on the internet that there maybe a possibility that Brock Lesnar could return to the WWE, to feud with the Undertaker. Even though Dana White says it won’t happen, the UFC’s policy is that UFC fighters can not fight or wrestle in any other company while still under contract for UFC. Still though, nobody ever said anything about Brock Lesnar performing in WWE, and not wrestle right?

WWE could bring Brock in as a guest host for RAW and Undertaker can go to RAW to feud with him there, or the WWE could make Brock Lesnar as the Anonymous RAW GM, would be interesting. Brock as a RAW GM would work.

If Brock does come back to WWE, that would bring Paul Heyman back as his manager again. I’d love to see Brock and Paul back. Brock may not be able to wrestle but they can put Brock in a different role. Maybe make Brock a special guest commentator or special guest referee, RAW GM, RAW celebrity guest, etc. Any of those things. WWE will figure out a plan for Brock, I’m sure. I’d love to see the Brock vs. Undertaker feud continue ’cause that would make an interesting feud. Brock and Taker feuded in WWE in the past before, this could be a perfect closure to that feud.

Kev

Edit to add: If Quinton “Rampage” Jackson can be a guest host on WWE RAW while still under contract for UFC, then the same can happen for Brock Lesnar, right?

Cool Video: Undertaker and Lesnar stare down from last night’s ppv…

Well, the internet’s all over this controversial video. The Undertaker and Lesnar stare down. To those wondering about this, Lesnar and Undertaker worked together while they were in WWE. They had a storyline feud and they were in the “Hell in a Cell” match together. Brock and ‘Taker never got along too well backstage in real life, behind the scenes of wrestling. You heard ‘Taker himself say in this video, “It’s personal”. So that’s a sign they hate each other as you can see.

What does Undertaker mean when he says, “You wanna do it?” and Lesnar says nothing. Did ‘Taker just challenge Lesnar a match for WWE wrestling? That’s what it seems like, doesn’t it? A rumour going around that Lesnar and ‘Taker could be the big headliners for the next Wrestlemania.

If you read Brock’s career history with WWE, Brock left WWE ’cause him and Vince weren’t on the same page. Brock sued WWE over some contract disagreement or something. I don’t think Brock will go back to the WWE for this reason, but who knows, maybe Vince McMahon and Brock will negotiate for him to return. You know how Vince loves more publicity with WWE and Brock is very controversial and popular. Vince “could” possibly welcome Brock back, but I don’t think it’ll happen.

I see this Undertaker and Brock public feud will escalate and get worse in the future. Maybe Undertaker could fight in UFC for one fight against Brock, if it’s all up to Dana, that might happen as well. These two guys will definitely be in the ring again somehow, whether’s it’s either WWE or UFC, either way. We’ll wait and see what happens.

Thought: WWE doesn’t suck!!!

I see so many people slamming the WWE. Accusing them of being a bunch of phonies and saying how fake they are, and how they suck at everything they do. They are fake and scripted of course. They are entertainment. Like them or not, they are sports athletes. No matter what you think of them, they are athletes. The wrestling is fake, but as I always say, injuries do happen for real sometimes just like you can get injured on any job. I don’t care what anyone thinks about professional wrestling. Gotta give them the respect they deserve, ’cause they work very hard to keep their companies alive today. They are really good business and marketing people. They are better at marketing than almost every company out there. They sell out almost every arena shows, they get strong TV ratings and high PPV buy rates still. I give the WWE, a whole lot of respect. 100%. Like them or not, they do a good job entertaining people.

These guys travel every week non stop, no seasons off. They work hard, all year round, every day. Do they suck for that? I give all the performers respect because a lot of them don’t do wrestling for money. Why do they do wrestling? Because they simply love it. They are addicted to professional wrestling and huge wrestling fans just as much as we are. They may have went back to the PG rating, but you know what? The PG rating doesn’t bother me anymore. It’s actually a good move.

I get made fun of all the time for my love of professional wrestling. You know what? I’m cool with that. I enjoy what I want to enjoy. I’ve been watching professional wrestling for years, ever since I was a child. I still treat professional wrestling as a passion of mine. The WWE is a powerful company ’cause Vince is a great promoter and one of the best businessmen around. He’s a very intelligent guy. I still watch WWE ’cause I respect them. You should too, even if you’re not a fan of this brand. People call the superstars and performers fakes, but they didn’t get signed to the WWE overnight. These superstars had years of training and learning wrestling before they got to WWE. To me WWE is very special ’cause they need to entertain families and people around the world. They work very hard for what they do. So give them the respect they deserve. They still do a good job putting on shows even if it’s a PG rating.

Tonight’s “Night of Champions” PPV was good. Got some of my predictions right and some wrong. Kane won against Undertaker like I said. Randy Orton is now WWE Champion. I’m happy WWE gave the title win to someone else this time. It was getting kind of boring seeing John Cena win almost every ppv. It’s nice to finally have a little change for once! I loved the ppv. More on this tomorrow.

Report: Undertaker vs. Kane match is making it in national sports news!

See the picture above? That’s Undertaker and Kane at the Times Union Center when they were just here for “Smackdown” in Albany, last month. 🙂 This Undertaker vs. Kane match at “Night of the Champions” ppv is getting huge in national sports news. Usually WWE never makes the sports news since they are entertainment wrestling, but when it comes to the Undertaker and Kane, it gets huge in sports for some reason. Now you understand why WWE have these two feud against each other all the time? Yes, that’s right, it’s marketing ploy. There is something about the sports world that likes Undertaker and Kane.

Glenn Jacobs, aka Kane, speaks with the NY Daily news about the upcoming ppv, this Sunday. Read it here.

In the past, everytime Kane became world champion, he never got to hold the belt long and he loses it the next week after. This is the longest Kane had the belt ever.

Everybody thinks Undertaker will become the new WWE Champion and win, but I don’t know. I’m predicting Kane will win and will retain. I think Kane will have a really long title run. Will I watch the ppv this Sunday? I don’t know. I’m thinking about it. Maybe. If I won’t be watching it, I’ll be reading the live results online.

I have a feeling Triple H may make a surprise return at the ppv, and the RAW anonymous GM might be revealed as well. Who knows.
