Last night’s “Survivor Series” was mostly great except for that terrible main event, Lesnar vs. Goldberg sucked!!!

So I watched last night’s Survivor Series ppv on WWE Network and it was mostly good except for that terrible main event with Brock vs. Goldberg. Goldberg just delivered Brock a couple of spears and a jackhammer, it was over just like that. See the quick match in the video above.  After all that hype and buildup for this match, the match only lasted for a little over one-minute, really Vince?

Anyway, I’m sure the Brock vs. Goldberg feud isn’t over yet so I’m feeling there’s going to be a third match with them pretty soon. Brock vs. Goldberg #3 for Wrestlemania 33? I’m willing to bet that’s what the plan is so maybe their next match will be longer and more exciting hopefully. Storyline wise, Brock is definitely gonna want his payback tonight on RAW so I’ll watch RAW to see what happens.

For the most part, though, most of last night’s Survivor Series was really good. The best matches of the night last night were the Women’s 5 on 5 matchup with Team Charlotte and Team Natalya. I definitely think Charlotte is making women’s wrestling more exciting again for sure, that was a pretty exciting match to watch too. Another female star I’ve been liking lately is Bayley, she’s been catching my attention. I’m feeling a Charlotte vs. Bayley match for WM-33. I’m loving Charlotte the more I see her, though, she’s my favorite right now.

Another match that was real good was Team RAW vs. Team Smackdown Live 5 on 5 with Team AJ Styles and Team Kevin Owens. That match was pretty amazing and so much fun to watch.

The other matches were okay but the ones I talked about above I liked the most except for that horrible Brock vs. Goldberg match. Not sure why that match was so short. Maybe it’s because of Goldberg’s age, I don’t know? If Goldberg lasted in that match for more than 5 minutes he would’ve been out of breath. I guess WWE wanted to give Goldberg the spotlight to keep the fans happy. Is this gonna be Goldberg’s final match? I’m feeling one more is coming on and it’s probably gonna be at WM-33.

I’ll be watching “Survivor Series” ppv tonight for the Goldberg vs. Lesnar match…

Looking forward to watching “Survivor Series” ppv on WWE Network later tonight. Even though everybody knows that Brock Lesnar will win against Goldberg tonight, it should be a fun and exciting match anyways. I have a feeling it’s gonna be a brutal match, though. I have a feeling that something might happen to Goldberg ’cause they don’t call Lesnar the beast incarnate for no reason. Goldberg could end up in a bloody mess.

I enjoy “Survivor Series” ppvs ’cause I like how they team up a group of wrestlers vs. another team, so exciting. “Survivor Series” will be starting at 7 so it’s looking like it’ll be a 4 hr. ppv. I have a feeling that most matches tonight will be quick ’cause Lesnar vs. Goldberg will probably be a long one. Gotta save the time for the main event. Looking forward to it tonight! Hope it’s good!

Hulk Hogan returning to WWE after Gawker feud? I wouldn’t be surprised and I hope he does return! Honestly!!!

Once before, I admitted that I used to be a Hulk Hogan hater but I don’t think I am anymore. After all this Gawker stuff, I now believe that Gawker messed with the wrong guy and really believe that Hulk is innocent this time. I had a change of heart with Hogan and now I’m a fan again.

http://www.forbes.com/sites/blakeoestriecher/2016/11/05/this-week-in-wwe-biz-hulk-hogan-return-ronda-rousey-deal-the-undertaker-vs-randy-orton-more/#2d35757e6693

Yeah, Hulk is probably gonna return to the WWE and he will probably have his last match at the next Wrestlemania which will be WM-33. Who should Hulk have his final match with?

It’ll probably be none other than Vince McMahon. Hulk and Vince already had a match together at Wrestlemania 19 but I’m feeling a Hulk vs. Vince match #2 is coming on. I wouldn’t be surprised that this whole Gawker thing gets turned into a WWE storyline and it probably will. Hulk will probably challenge Vince for a match for firing him over it. That’s probably what the storyline is gonna be. A whole new Vince vs. Hulk feud is coming.

Hulk will probably return sometime before the next Wrestlemania ’cause I know he’s gonna want to have a main event for the next one. Hulk could probably return at the next Royal Rumble, though, he could be a surprise entrant during the 30 man rumble matchup. I can see that happening.

Top 10 Wrestlers who really need to be in the WWE Hall of Fame!!!

I’ve been watching a lot of old school wrestling on the WWE Network. Mostly stuff from the 80’s, 90’s and the Attitude Era. I watch all this and I’m thinking the WWE is still missing a lot of guys in the “Hall of Fame”. You know how in the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame” is pretty bad and missing a lot of bands that deserve to get in? Well the WWE Hall of Fame is just as bad. There are too many wrestlers that deserves to get in and I’ll name 10 wrestlers who are totally deserving of a WWE Hall of Fame induction in no particular order. I probably did this list once before a long time ago but I’ll do it again.

  • The Undertaker: It’s kind of crazy that ‘Taker isn’t in yet. When will the Deadman ever make his way in there? He should have been in a long time ago.
  • Owen Hart: Enough said? I’ve been watching a lot of Owen Hart matches on WWE Network and he was phenomenal performer. He was amazing. Definitely deserving.
  • John “Bradshaw” Layfield or better known as JBL: This guy is most famous as the tag team for the APA with Farooq and he also went solo as a wrestler. JBL had a legendary career and he’s totally deserving.
  • Chris Jericho: Y2J has been in the WWE for many years and he’s still performing but occasionally. Y2J deserves an induction ’cause he had a great career too. Plus, he’s also a phenomenal performer.
  • “The Model” Rick Martel: Remember this guy? He had the full package… the good looks and he was a great wrestler too. He never won the WWE Title but he has won tag team titles a couple of times, though. He was a great performer as well.
  • Chyna: She’ll make her way in there hopefully soon.
  • “Ravishing” Rick Rude: He definitely needs to be in there. Can’t believe he’s not in yet.
  • Lex Luger: Come on really? Sure, his career in WWE was short but he was still a freakin’ badass. Plus he had a long career in WCW. The guy is a wrestling legend for sure. Can’t deny it.
  • Kurt Angle: Can’t believe this Olympic Gold Medalist with a broken freakin’ neck didn’t get in. I’ve always been a Kurt Angle fan whether he was a bad guy or a good guy, he did it all well.

There are tons more wrestlers to name that aren’t in yet like Kane, Big Show, the Hardy Boys, Rey Mysterio, Scott Steiner, Goldberg, Bam Bam Bigelow, etc. I can only name ten though.

Come on Vince… hurry up get those guys in I listed above!

Why Vince McMahon continues to promote wrestling as if it’s real… I get it now!

Vince McMahon and the WWE continues to promote wrestling like if it’s real. We all know it’s not but that’s how they want to promote wrestling. I get why Vince does this because it’s how they draw crowds at their live shows and draw viewers for TV. A lot of the “smart” wrestling fans like to criticize WWE about ignoring wrestling and calling it “entertainment”. I had my share of criticizing WWE for promoting wrestling like if it’s real but I was wrong. I get why they do it. They have to promote wrestling this way. Otherwise, they wouldn’t get sponsors. They wouldn’t get TV networks to agree to air their shows. If the WWE promoted their shows aimed toward the smart wrestling fans, they wouldn’t get much of an audience. WWE is clearly aimed toward an audience who are “marks”. A “mark” is a wrestling term for people who think wrestling is real. There are a lot of marks out there and there are way too many people out there who believe wrestling is real. If you’re a “smart” wrestling fan like myself and if you tried to talk with a mark about wrestling then they wouldn’t understand terms like “babyface”, “heel”, “storyline”, “gimmick”, “feud”, “bump”, “house show”, “job”, “kayfabe”, etc. Someone who is a mark wouldn’t understand those terms at all. I try to talk with people about wrestling all the time and most WWE fans don’t understand those terms I listed. Crazy. The problem is there are still lots of people who believe that wrestling is real is why and I’m fine with that. I’m just glad that there are other WWE fans around.

I wish people would stop criticizing McMahon about promoting wrestling like if it’s real ’cause I give so much respect to that guy. Love him or hate Vince all you want to, that guy knows how to put on a fucking show. He does things for his own reasons. I think the WWE do a good job entertaining people and that’s why I give them so much respect for. I’ve been a long time WWE fan and still am. A lot of times they get bad and a lot of times they get good. I watch WWE on and off.

I subscribe to the WWE Network ’cause I want to watch all the old school wrestling that are on there like all the stuff from the 80’s and 90’s. They were the good old days of wrestling. What is my opinion on wrestling now which is called “The New Era”? It’s actually pretty good really. A lot of new young talent. I dig Charlotte, AJ Styles and Seth Rollins. They are my favorites right now but today’s wrestling is pretty good.

I’ll always be a wrestling fanatic. Will always have a lot of respect for Vince. That guy works hard to put on good shows and I’m looking forward to Survivor Series pretty soon.

Thoughts on the “New Era” in WWE so far…

I’ll take long breaks from watching WWE from time to time ’cause why? A lot of times WWE would get so bad in their storylines and matches. A lot of people would accuse me of being a die-hard WWE follower but I’m not really. I like to watch WWE on and off. I’m not all that obsessed with wrestling like a lot of people say. I’m more into old-school wrestling than today’s wrestling to be honest. I was more into 80’s wrestling and the Attitude Era in the 90’s is what I was mostly into. I continued to watch WWE over the years but once again, “on” and “off”.

I’ve just started watching RAW again after a long break from it. Sometimes I’ll tune into RAW again to see what’s going on. In this new era of WWE, they are calling it the “New Era”. Why? It’s simply because there are nothing but new and young talent on the WWE roster. Most of the old iconic stars and veterans of WWE has moved on and retired (like Stone Cold, HBK, Edge, the Hardy Boys, Trish Stratus, Lita, Ric Flair, CM Punk, Kurt Angle, etc.).

Now WWE has signed a bunch of new talent that I’ve never heard before. Honestly, I’m not that crazy about most of the new talent but so far my favorites are AJ Styles, Charlotte Flair, Finn Balor and Nattie Neidhart.

I remember I used to watch AJ Styles on TNA Impact a lot and I always knew that guy would make it in the WWE one day and now AJ Styles is WWE Champion. AJ Styles is awesome. I wish Sting would stick around a little longer ’cause I think a Sting vs. AJ Styles match would be awesome. I’m pretty sure Aj Styles and Sting had matches together before in TNA. It be cool if they had one in WWE.

While most of the legends have retired and gone, there are still longtime WWE stars who are still around like John Cena, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, Triple H, Goldust, The Undertaker, Big Show and Kane. Those guys are still around… The Rock still works in WWE but occasionally, though.

As far as John Cena goes, I don’t really hate him anymore and I think I’m a fan of his now. I’ve been watching a lot of old Wrestlemania’s on WWE Network and Cena gained my respect through that. Whether you like Cena or not, you can’t deny that Cena puts on really exciting matches. The guy works hard. He’s the hardest working guy in WWE by far. I’m not a Cena hater anymore, in fact I’m a big fan now. It’s the guy’s work ethic is what’s impressing me about him. Plus Cena is a great performer too.

I’m still a fan of WWE though. I still respect what those guys do. While many don’t like wrestling, the haters of WWE don’t want to admit that they do a good job entertaining people.

Yeah, WWE is fake and scripted. I always knew that and when people tell me that, I just laugh it off and ignore ’em. I just watch WWE for “entertainment” ’cause I respect them for what they do. They’re good performers and they sacrificed a lot of things just to be on the road 24/7 entertaining people. People don’t want to admit what they do is “courageous”.

Chris Jericho and Brock Lesnar had altercation backstage after Lesnar match with Randy Orton…

That match even got Chris Jericho wondering whether that fight between Lesnar vs. Orton was real or not. Jericho got concerned about Orton’s well being but Jericho and Lesnar got into a little fight backstage ’cause of it. Vince confirmed it was all a work and even Randy knew it was.

http://www.forbes.com/sites/blakeoestriecher/2016/08/22/brock-lesnar-becoming-a-burden-for-wwe-after-incident-with-chris-jericho-at-summerslam/#7069453121fa

Interesting article, though. Gotta give props to Jericho ’cause he cares for people and he’s a good guy in real life. I’ll admit that Lesnar can be a bit of a narcissist and a bully, though.

Did Vince McMahon lift the ban on blood in WWE? About last night’s Summerslam…

Last night, I watched “WWE Summerslam” ppv on the WWE Network. A lot of people are complaining about the ending but I thought it was a great ending. Ya know, they don’t call Brock Lesnar “the beast incarnate” for no reason and they wanted to make a point with Brock Lesnar. They did exactly that last night. Lesnar is once again this unstoppable monster. He’s been exactly that ever since he beat the Undertaker and broke the Undertaker’s streak at Wrestlemania. Lesnar is the unstoppable monster in the UFC and they wanted keep the unstoppable monster going in the WWE.

There’s a lot of talk that Lesnar went off script and he beat Randy Orton in a bloody mess for real. In my opinion, I don’t think so. It was scripted for sure. I could tell that Lesnar was sticking to the script. While the blood did look pretty real to me, there is a technique that wrestlers do to their opponents called “blading”. It’s where they hide a small knife where they cut the opponent off-screen so they can look like they’re in a bloody mess. So it was definitely all fake for sure, of course. WWE just did a good job on making it look “real” as possible.

A lot of people are shitting on the Summerslam ending but once again, I thought it was great. Lesnar the beast has returned. The monster in him is what I love about Lesnar. He’s a heel that everyone loves to hate.

http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/general/wwe-mma-wrestling/wwe-summerslam-brock-lesnar-off-script-randy-orton-deliberate-elbow-video-head-injury-a7203596.html

On top of all this, with the way this thing is going with Brock Lesnar in WWE is leading up to something. It’s leading up to a possible match against Bill Goldberg so will there be a Brock Lesnar vs. Bill Goldberg match in the future? There’s been a lot of talk on that. I heard that Goldberg called out Lesnar so the feud is already starting. What I think is gonna happen is that Lesnar is gonna keep beaten up superstars like he did with Randy Orton and then Bill Goldberg decides to be the hero to try and stop Lesnar. I think a Lesnar vs. Goldberg match will possibly happen at the Royal Rumble or the next Wrestlemania. I think it be better at the next Wrestlemania in 2017. Bill Goldberg is a wrestling icon too, he was another legend from WCW. So far, Brock Lesnar beat all the legends and icons in the WWE but not yet Bill Goldberg.

I was kind of shocked to see the blood myself ’cause when I saw that, I thought to myself, “I thought Vince McMahon banned blood in WWE, did he just lifted the ban?”. Probably not. Blood is probably only allowed during a Brock Lesnar match ’cause when you see a Brock Lesnar match, you’re gonna expect to see blood. It’s not a Brock Lesnar match if blood wasn’t allowed, right? If there’s no blood during a Lesnar match then he’s no longer the “beast incarnate”. Something to think about.

Yep, this is all leading to a match with Bill Goldberg. People was hoping that Bill Goldberg would come out and save Randy but no Goldberg yet. Who knows? Maybe Goldberg will appear on RAW tonight. Could be a possibility.

Last night’s Summerslam ppv was awesome overall, though. I liked most matches. I liked Sasha vs. Charlotte the best and I also loved Aj Styles vs. John Cena. I used to be a John Cena hater but I’m actually starting to like him more. I have no problem with Cena now as he’s just starting to earn my respect. I’ll have another post on Cena another time.

WWE Network is surprisingly great, it’s a keeper!!!

Well I finished my 1 month free trial of WWE Network and to my surprise, it’s really good stuff so I think I’m gonna keep my subscription for sure. Over the past month that I’ve kept WWE Network, I’ve watched the first 16 Wrestlemania ppv’s on it. The WWE Network has every ppv they ever did on it so you can watch a lot of old school wrestling on there. Like I said, I’ve been watching all the old Wrestlemanias on there like the Wrestlemania shows in the 80’s and early 90’s. I’ve already seen all Wrestlemanias but it’s great to re-watch them all ’cause it’s fun to look back. Bring back memories of the old days of wrestling which is pretty much what “WWE Network” is here for so you can re-live the past.

I remember the old days of wrestling back in the 80’s and 90’s when wrestling used to be good. That was back in the days when they used to call it “wrestling” but currently they don’t call it “wrestling” anymore obviously.

I’m a lifelong wrestling fanatic so I think I’m definitely gonna keep “WWE Network”. It’s a nice streaming service. It’s not just a streaming service, it’s also a 24 hour wrestling channel, you can watch live TV on it too.

Last night I watched “WWE Payback” ppv on it and it was pretty good. “WWE Payback” was surprisingly a great ppv. Most every match was good on it except for the dumb McMahon segment. As for my thoughts on the wrestling business today, there are way too many new superstars I’ve never heard of before but lets just say that I’m a huge fan of AJ Styles and Kevin Owens. Those guys are awesome and we’re looking at future main eventers here. The wrestling business changes and evolves every now and then. Superstars come and go, that’s all there is to it.

I’ll always have a love and passion for the professional wrestling business. I’ll always be a fan. While Vince McMahon is a genius businessman and all, he’s just terrible at the writing part, though. Makes you wonder why RAW constantly loses ratings.

WWE Network is great stuff and if you’re a wrestling fan yourself, I’d recommend it.

WWE did a tribute for Chyna last night but…

… all they did was a video tribute for Chyna, that was it. The tribute video wasn’t that long and they didn’t show much on it. They didn’t even have all the RAW superstars at the top of the ramp to ring the bell either!

So I think it’s pretty obvious that Vince and Stephanie still hates Chyna. They just did the tribute video out of respect for the fans. Will they put her in the next “Hall of Fame” in 2017? I don’t know. We’ll have to wait and see. You can say what you want about Chyna but she did have a lot of accomplishments in the wrestling business. She helped started the iconic wrestling group, D-X… she also helped build up the women’s division in wrestling. Without Chyna there would have never been other popular Divas such as: Stacy Keibler, Trish Stratus, Lita, etc. Chyna helped make the WWE a lot of money. She really helped the business with her storyline with Eddie Guerrero. I remember all that stuff.

Some may accuse me of being a Chyna fan just because she died but nope, not true at all. I’ve been a longtime Chyna follower long before she died. I followed everything she did in her career over the years. After she retired from wrestling, I followed all of the online stuff she did in her youtube channel. I’ve been a longtime follower. I’ve seen everything she did in WWE.

Sure, Chyna may have said some pretty hurtful things about Vince, the WWE, Stephanie and Triple H a lot over the years… I can understand why they don’t want anything to do with her, understandable but she simply wanted to make amends and apologize to those she hurt. That’s all she wanted to do, ya know? She wanted to bury the hatchet with them and leave the past behind. She no longer wanted to continue to hold grudges with them if you know what I mean.

It’s pretty crazy to me that she tried to reach out to them but they never responded until now. Really, she tried contacting them herself but they wouldn’t take her calls.

I think Vince owes us an explanation for sure. Maybe get him on a podcast show and explain to us why he shut Chyna out.
