Report: WWE will soon announce big changes that will soon happen in 2011…

Reports all over the wrestling world, are saying that the WWE are making huge changes for the company for all wrestling shows. The changes will happen in 2011 but they are being kept under wraps for now. See the article, here.

This will be a major shakeup, something HUGE. What could the huge shake up be? Here are some possibilities that people are throwing around:

  1. WWE could go back to PG-14 – Go back to bloody violence and half naked women with lots of cleavage. ( I hope this will happen but I doubt it, merchandise sales are flying high and you see a lot of children at all RAW/SD shows, so I don’t see them dropping the PG rating)
  2. Vince buys TNA? (Nice idea, but not a chance this will happen. Sorry)
  3. RAW/SMACKDOWN could merge into one brand to end the roster split. (Possibly, but I don’t see this happening ’cause of too many superstars, won’t make enough room to perform in one show)
  4. WWE will get their own wrestling cable channel to air RAW/SD and all WWE shows. (Not a chance this will happen, ever. USA has always been RAW’s home, Smackdown just moved to SyFy, so I doubt Vince will get his own WWE channel. WWE do have their own history channel which is only available for satellite TV, I believe?

Whatever the shakeup is going to be, I’m looking forward to it. You just never know what Vince McMahon and the staff at WWE Headquarters would come up with.

Report: Kurt Angle wants WWE return…

Former WWE star, Kurt Angle is still currently working for TNA. Even if he signed another contract to stay with TNA even longer, he still wants a big WWE return. He still plans to stay with TNA too. How can he work with two different shows at the same time?

See the article, here.

That’s good that Kurt Angle finally wants to return. Could he actually be, the RAW Anonymous GM? Heh, who knows. The WWE could certainly use him back since their ratings has been down as of late. Kurt Angle would also make a great member of the Nexus ’cause the Nexus could use a member that have wrestling talent, and Kurt Angle has that. Pretty much all members of the Nexus suck at wrestling, except for Justin Gabriel who seems pretty promising.

I’d like to see a Kurt Angle return. I’m all for it.

John Cena heel turn on the way? Sorry folks, I just can’t see it happening!

I didn’t watch last night’s WWE “Hell in a Cell” ppv for a few reasons. One reason, I’m trying to cut down on ppv’s. Another reason, I was worried that John Cena will win and become the hero again like he usually is on WWE ppvs. Turns out, I was wrong. I’m sure everyone else thought John Cena was going to win his match against Wade Barret. The thing is, if John Cena loses the match, he is forced to join Nexus. If Cena won, Nexus would be over. Turns out that Wade Barret won, and Cena will have to join Nexus tonight on RAW. Will Cena wear the black t-shirt with the N symbol on the front of it? He probably will. Some may think that Cena maybe turning heel very soon, but I don’t see it happening. Cena will pretend to be heel for a little while, then one day, he will stab them in the back and become a hero again. Cena is too popular with children. He sells a lot of merchandise, plus, Cena is doing movies. Maybe Cena will be a full time heel for a long while, don’t know, I don’t think it’s possible.

I read the results of “Hell in a Cell” ppv last night and it didn’t sound like a very good ppv. Glad I didn’t watch it.

Thought: Well, the anonymous RAW GM is definitely not Michael Cole…

There’s been a lot of speculation in the wrestling community that Michael Cole could be the RAW anonymous GM. Well last night’s RAW kind of proved that Michael Cole is not the RAW GM. Why?

When Edge was out in the ring giving a speech during his in ring talk show, “The Cutting Edge”, he was talking to the anonymous computer, while Michael Cole sat out in the announcer table. Later on during the show, Edge destroyed the anonymous GM computer. Guess what? Michael Cole was still sitting at the announcer table.

So this definitely shows that Cole is not the RAW GM.

RAW is getting close to revealing the GM. So we’ll know who it is soon. Who ever the RAW GM is though, is definitely a popular babyface, ’cause the GM has been doing nothing but busting on the heel wrestlers. There has been signs that the GM could also be Chris Jericho, but it’s not him either ’cause he’s leaving WWE to focus on music with Fozzy. The GM won’t be any of the current superstars performing today.

I think the GM will be a returning superstar coming back from a hiatus. It’s either going to be Triple H, Bret Hart or the Ultimate Warrior. My money is still on the Ultimate Warrior but…

… keep in mind that the RAW GM could also be no one other than Vince McMahon himself. Vince McMahon always liked to trick people like this, and this could explain Vince’s return to get his revenge on the Nexus. So don’t be surprised that it could be Vince McMahon. It could happen. Vince always liked that kind of controversy.

RIP: Jorge Gonzalez (aka Giant Gonzalez) 1966 – 2010

null

Jorge Gonzalez  was a professional wrestler who got his start in WCW as El Gigante. He then worked for the WWE in 1993, under the name of Giant Gonzalez, which he wore a fake muscular costume and a big bushy beard as you see in the picture above. His only feud in the WWE was against the Undertaker. Jorge left the WWE in October of 1993 to pursue a career in New Japan Pro Wrestling from 1994-95. Before Jorge’s professional wrestling career, he got his start in playing basketball because of his tall appearance. He was forced to quit playing basketball because of a serious injury he had in 1986. He came this close to being signed to the NBA, but did not make it. This is how he became a professional wrestler instead.

Around 1995, Jorge had to quit all sports because of his health. In Oct. of 2009, he got paralyzed for life and was put on a wheelchair. The 7 foot 7 tall, Jorge Gonzalez, died due to complications of diabetes. It is not known if he was ever married, but he has been best friends with legendary wrestling manager, Harvey Whippleman, for many years. Jorge was 44 years old.

Report: WWE blames low rating for last Monday’s RAW show on Randy Orton…

Last Monday’s RAW didn’t do very well in the ratings. The ratings were very low this week. Usually RAW ratings are good, but WWE is failing fast. Who does the WWE blame the low ratings on? Yep that’s right, Randy Orton. See the article, here.

Of course, they would blame it all on him. I don’t blame it on Randy Orton ’cause the fans are starting to like him now. He’s becoming a babyface, so the ratings aren’t his fault at all. What do I think happened to the ratings???

First of all, everyone’s probably sick of seeing WWE sticking their dicks up John Cena’s ass. Cena getting too much screen time, hogging the main events. Almost every RAW episode ends with Cena being the hero. Sick of it, sick of it, sick of it. Secondly, everyone’s sick of this RAW anonymous GM already. Thirdly, the reason no one watches RAW anymore is because all the iconic superstars are gone: No Rock, No Stone Cold, No Mick Foley, No HHH, No Jim Ross being the announcer, No more Dave Batista, etc. You get the drill. Maybe people are getting tired of celebrity guest hosts and getting tired of the PG rating. Also getting tired of the Nexus storyline.

Don’t blame on Randy Orton, WWE. Stupid! He’s just a guy doing his job, getting paid to perform for the fans.

Report: Chris Jericho to take time off from WWE again???

Rumours are swirling the nets that WWE star Chris Jericho could be quitting WWE or take some time off again. Why? Since he has a pretty big tour with his metal band, Fozzy, that is what’s putting his WWE career in question.

There are rumours that Jericho wants to concentrate on Fozzy full time and hoping to start an acting career.

I find this a shame that Jericho is about to go from WWE soon ’cause I feel it’s too early for him. He’s too young to be quitting. Jericho is just getting at the top of his game in WWE and he’s about to throw it all away. Jericho’s been on his twitter page, hinting that he’s leaving WWE soon. Just last night after his “Night of Champions” ppv appearance, Jericho tweeted this.  So does this mean Jericho won’t appear on RAW tonight? We’ll have to wait and see. I think he’s teasing but he might appear on RAW tonight, never know.

Thought: WWE doesn’t suck!!!

I see so many people slamming the WWE. Accusing them of being a bunch of phonies and saying how fake they are, and how they suck at everything they do. They are fake and scripted of course. They are entertainment. Like them or not, they are sports athletes. No matter what you think of them, they are athletes. The wrestling is fake, but as I always say, injuries do happen for real sometimes just like you can get injured on any job. I don’t care what anyone thinks about professional wrestling. Gotta give them the respect they deserve, ’cause they work very hard to keep their companies alive today. They are really good business and marketing people. They are better at marketing than almost every company out there. They sell out almost every arena shows, they get strong TV ratings and high PPV buy rates still. I give the WWE, a whole lot of respect. 100%. Like them or not, they do a good job entertaining people.

These guys travel every week non stop, no seasons off. They work hard, all year round, every day. Do they suck for that? I give all the performers respect because a lot of them don’t do wrestling for money. Why do they do wrestling? Because they simply love it. They are addicted to professional wrestling and huge wrestling fans just as much as we are. They may have went back to the PG rating, but you know what? The PG rating doesn’t bother me anymore. It’s actually a good move.

I get made fun of all the time for my love of professional wrestling. You know what? I’m cool with that. I enjoy what I want to enjoy. I’ve been watching professional wrestling for years, ever since I was a child. I still treat professional wrestling as a passion of mine. The WWE is a powerful company ’cause Vince is a great promoter and one of the best businessmen around. He’s a very intelligent guy. I still watch WWE ’cause I respect them. You should too, even if you’re not a fan of this brand. People call the superstars and performers fakes, but they didn’t get signed to the WWE overnight. These superstars had years of training and learning wrestling before they got to WWE. To me WWE is very special ’cause they need to entertain families and people around the world. They work very hard for what they do. So give them the respect they deserve. They still do a good job putting on shows even if it’s a PG rating.

Tonight’s “Night of Champions” PPV was good. Got some of my predictions right and some wrong. Kane won against Undertaker like I said. Randy Orton is now WWE Champion. I’m happy WWE gave the title win to someone else this time. It was getting kind of boring seeing John Cena win almost every ppv. It’s nice to finally have a little change for once! I loved the ppv. More on this tomorrow.

Quick “Night of the Champions” ppv predicitions

Well “Night of the Champions” ppv is tonight, and yes, I’m watching it. I thought I would write in my predictions quick before the ppv starts.

Six pack challenge for WWE Title: Sheamus vs. Wade Barrett vs. Chris Jericho vs. John Cena vs. Randy Orton vs. Edge

Winner: None of the above. Something will happen to one of those guys, Chris Jericho might get kicked out of the match being replaced by somebody else. This is the match that Triple H might join in and Triple H will come in and win the whole thing to become champ.

World Heavyweight Championship match: Kane vs. Undertaker

Winner: Kane. Everybody’s expecting ‘Taker to win, but I think Kane will get the win with outside interference of the Nexus, making Kane win somehow. Kane is expected to have a long title run, to keep his feud with Undertaker going.

U.S. Champion:- The Miz vs. Daniel Bryan

Winner: Daniel Bryan. The Miz will lose his US title so he wouldn’t have two belts when he cashes in for the Money in the Bank for another title match in the future. Plus, Daniel Bryan is already getting huge in the WWE, so I think Daniel will get the win.

IC Champion: Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston

Winner: I’m predicting Kofi Kingston will get the win. Kofi has been a favorite of mine for quite some time now.

The Big Show vs. CM Punk (non title match):

Winner: CM Punk. He already lost at the last Summerslam. I think Punk will win this one this time with the help of the Straight Edge Society members. I’m also predicting Big Show will get a heel turn to join the Straight Edge Society.

WWE Diva Championship lumberjill match: Melina vs. Michelle McCool

Winner: I’m thinking Michelle McCool will win this one.

WWE Tag Team championship: The Hart Dynasty vs. mystery opponents unannounced –

Winner: Who ever the mystery opponents will be. I think it’s going to be John Morrison and R-Truth, but I don’t know. I’m thinking WWE is saving this one for a surprise tag team that is about ready to make a huge return. It won’t be the Hardy Boys, ’cause Jeff is in TNA and Matt is out of country in England. I don’t think it’s going to be DX, I don’t think it’ll be Cryme Tyme. We’ll have to wait and see who it is.

Hope the ppv will be good.
