Another thought about the James Cameron vs. The Fan controversy…

I jus thought of something else, about the James Cameron vs. The Fan controversy at LAX. Even if the fan was going to sell the poster on E-bay or whatever for extra money, so what. That’s not that big of a deal either. Whether or not it’s a die hard fan or just an autograph hound out to make money, James should still be flattered and sign the autograph anyway. Even if the poster gets  sold on E-bay or whatever, it still should be flattering that your work is being appreciated.

I mean, if I was a famous person, I know I’m not, but if I was, I would sign any autograph that people shove in my face. Even if it gets sold on e-bay, it’s still good appreciation and good promotion of yourself and your work. Whether the poster guy was a fan or not, it doesn’t make him an asshole for begging for an autograph. Famous people deal with that all the time, everywhere you go. What makes James an asshole is that his huge ego got in the way, he thinks he’s more famous than signing his name on merchandise.

The poster fan guy had every right to ask a celebrity for an autograph ’cause this is a free country. When celebrities show themselves in the public it gives the public the right to pursue them for an autograph. When celebs refuse to sign, it makes them a rude person. Period.

BREAKING NEWS: Bret “The Hitman” Hart to return to RAW next Monday!!!!!!

Vince McMahon made it official that Bret “The Hitman” Hart is returning to RAW after all these years. He will probably be feuding with Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon to finish off the controversial, Montreal Screwjob feud. Bret Hart will be guest hosting RAW next monday, Jan. 4th. The same day Hulk Hogan makes his debut on TNA. It’s WWE’s way of battling against TNA with the ratings.

I’ll definitely be watching RAW next week. This isn’t a one time only thing for Bret Hart. I think Bret Hart will stay around RAW until the next Wrestlemania. Bret Hart might be made the next RAW GM or something.

Looking forward to RAW next week. Will be interesting to see Bret Hart back. He’s not coming back to wrestle, since he can’t due to his health and being injury proned. This is more exciting than the Hulk Hogan in TNA. I will watch Hulk Hogan in TNA next Monday too, but I will record that on my DVR while watching RAW.

Report: John Mayer defends James Cameron on his blog…

Rock and blues musician, John Mayer, wrote on his blog, defending director James Cameron. Spoke about the controversy at LAX airport about the asshole verbal dispute against the fan that wanted his “Avatar” poster signed.

http://www.johnmayer.com/blog

The world of fame can be fun but can be a tough life. If celebs don’t want to be noticed in public, then why be out in public? James went to the airport showing his face for the whole world to see, so of course he was going to get bombarded by paps and fans.

John Mayer is just as delusional as James Cameron is. Is John a celebrity or a musician? It seems he is trying to plug himself as a media celebrity, more than a musician. He’s a talented guitar player, he’s very good…but John’s going to kill his music career if he keeps getting caught in this celebrity gossip. In fact, John’s career has already been dead.

About the size of bodybuilding…

I know I said, I don’t want to be a giant bodybuilder like you see in Mr. Olympia, but if ya think about it, who knows. Maybe I will end up getting there. I am committed to this for life, so the more I am addicted to this, I probably might get big as possible. Other people say it’s impossible and will never happen, but reading the Arnold’s boydbuilding book, this can happen to anybody. Getting a big physique like those guys can be possible if you don’t give it up, staying strict on nutrition permanently, using good supplements, and all that. Giving your body time to rest and heal up, not overtraining, yes, a huge physique can be possible. Yes, you will get made fun of by people around you. You will get laughed at and people will call you delusional, but prove them wrong that you can do it. You can succeed.

Report: “Star Trek” is the most illegally downloaded movie of 2009…

While piracy and stealing movies off the internet is now against the law, lots of people are STILL downloading illegally. People still think they have the right to steal things for free and think it’s okay. I am not a pirate. I like to respect “copyright” and the artist’s work. Besides, why would people want to watch movies on a computer when it’s better watching ’em on the big screen or on a 50 inch TV with home theater surround sound at home.

“Star Trek” happens to be the most downloaded film of 2009.

http://torrentfreak.com/top-10-most-pirated-movies-of-2009-091220/

The law can’t stop people from piracy. Pirates don’t even feel guilty for stealing. I predict Stallone’s, “The Expendables” will be the most pirated movie of 2010, hands down.

It’s never too late, to lift weights…

I know I started lifting weights and fitness at a late age, I’m in my thirties. I always think in my head and worry that, I think I started too late and will never get the body of my dreams. When I read something about “Age” in Arnold’s Bodybuilding book, there is nothing to worry about in age. As they all say, age is just a number. Arnold says, you can start bodybuilding at any age. it doesn’t matter if you’re 50-70 or older. It is possible to get a built physique no matter the age you start at. So I have really nothing to worry about the age. So if you claim that you’re too old for this, that just shows that people don’t have the motivation for fitness. So don’t always think that all bodybuilders start at their teens, ’cause that is simply not true.

I’ve been looking through this book and reading more from it.

My goal for 2010 and new year’s resolution is to hopefully improve my nutirition. Do the 6 meals a day thing, eating healthy and maybe a few cheats. I am committed and dedicated to getting fit and getting in shape, thanks to Sly Stallone for getting me motivated and getting me inspired to get into it. I’m not inspired by those profesional bodybuilders, I am inspired by the movie stars such as Sly, Arnold, and Dolph. They pretty much got me into it. WWE kind of got me into it too, but it’s mostly Sly that inspired me.

Most people know Sly Stallone as an actor and director, but the public ignore the fact that he is a bodybuilder obviously. Wish people would recognize him for that too.

Film Review: Up In the Air

Starring: George Clooney, Anna Kendrick, Vera Farmiga, and Jason Bateman

Directed by: Jason Reitman

Today, I just saw the movie, “Up In the Air” and here is my review.

Plot/synopsis: George Clooney, plays a businessman named, Ryan Bingham. He has no life outside of his business. The only thing he has is his job where he flies around the world, firing people off of jobs. He loves his job so much, that it’s basically all he wants to do in his life. He meets a young woman named, Natalie (Anna Kendrick), who has the same job he has. After Ryan noticing she doesn’t do a good job firing people, Ryan teaches her. As Ryan partners with Natalie in the job, he starts a friendship with her. Later, Ryan falls in love with a woman named, Alex Goran (Vera Farmiga). Ryan wants a relationship with her and tries to turn it serious. He was so in love with Alex Goran that he tries to get out of his job to try to spend his life with her. Ryan hates the idea of marriage and relationships, he was all about his profesional work. Ryan begins to understand marriage and relationships after learning about his sister getting married. He wasn’t sure if he should spend his life with women or traveling on airplanes with his work. Which will he choose?

This film was directed by Jason Reitman, who I believe is the real life son of “Ghostbusters” director, Ivan Reitman. This guy also directed, “Juno” and “Thank You For Smoking”. I believe that “Up In the Air” was truly his best directed film. The film was thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable. I wasn’t bored one bit. My eyes didn’t close at all and didn’t yawn. A very very very good movie.

As usual, George Clooney is always an amazing actor. He did it again by pulling off his great acting chops like he always had. Anna Kendrick surprisingly was very good and I think she’s definitely going to win an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for this role. The story was funny but it got serious most of the film. The acting of the entire cast all around was great. Jason Bateman, the former child star was also very good. There is also a huge surprise cameo appearance by legend, Sam Elliot, he has a tiny role in the film. I won’t say what Sam Elliot plays, but he still has the acting chops as well.

The script did a great job keeping things very unpredictable, as you never knew what was going to happen next. There were some shocking scenes, especially the surprise ending of the film. It’s a short film about an hour and a half long, but still an excellent movie. This film is definitely better than most of George Clooney’s new works. Films like “Leatherheads”, “Burn After Reading” and “The Men Who Stare At Goats” were all shit movies that I thought were crap. “Up In the Air” was amazing and I hope George keeps choosing good roles like this. George is one of my favorite actors and I’ve seen most of his movies in his filmography. Some of my other favorite movies George has starred in are: “From Dusk Til Dawn”, “Michael Clayton”, “O Brother Where Art Thou”, “Three Kings”, “The Perfect Storm”, “The Oceans Trilogy”, and “Syriana”. Add “Up In the Air” to that list.

After seeing this film, I think “Up In the Air” will definitely be a big Oscar winner. It’s a tie up along with “Inglourious Basterds”. I would seriously suggest you to check this movie out. I loved it!

I will next be seeing “Sherlock Holmes” this week and I will review that one as well.

Score for “Up In the Air” = **** (4 stars as in “excellent”)

Sylvester Stallone meets “Heroes” star, Hayden Pannettiere

What did Sylvester Stallone do on his Christmas day? Yep, that’s right. Instead of spending his day with family, he spent most of it, watching the L.A. Lakers game at the Staples Center. Here he is at the arena, chatting it up with “Heroes” star, Hayden Pannettiere. Hayden seems to be really into him ’cause notice how close she’s standing to him.

Wonder if Sly is asking her for a part in the next Rambo film? Hope Sly’s wife is cool with this.

RIP: Vic Chesnutt 1964 -2009

Now you can add folk rock singer/songwriter, Vic Chesnutt, to the LONG list of dead celebrities of 2009. Vic was a singer/songwriter who lived in Athens, Georgia. He was paralyzed at 18 from a car accident that put him on a wheelchair. Even if on a wheelchair, he was still able to sing and play guitar. He died in a coma after a suicide attempt. Chesnutt has released a total 15 albums in his discography, and R.EM.’s Michael Stipe produced his first two albums. It was Michael Stipe that discovered him, got him a record deal and made him famous. Vic Chesnutt was 45 years old.

James Brown, the Godfather of Soul, also died on Christmas Day.

The band R.E.M. did a tribute and homage for Vic Chesnutt on their official website:

After seeing these videos, he was an incredible talent and makes me want to buy some of his music.

Arnold’s Modern Bodybuilding Encyclopedia…

So as a Christmas gift from the family, I got this book. Arnold’s Modern Bodybuilding. It is probably the best body building resource ever. I was flipping through pages and reading some of it. Most of it’s pretty much the same stuff that most body builders teach you. Most of it are the same exercises I’ve been doing at the gym.

I stopped going to the gym for a while. Basically to save money for holiday shopping. I’ll be going back to the gym real soon, maybe even next week. Don’t worry, the times that I stopped going to the gym, I didn’t quit working out for a while. I still work out three times a week. Doing home workouts with dumbbells and bodyweight exercises. This book is the ultimate body building resource, it has everything you need to know. It has a lot of stuff I didn’t even know about. I love studying and reading about body building. It became a new hobby of mine.

Like I said, I don’t want to be a giant, I’m not doing this to compete in no competition. I’m doing this to get fit for myself, to simply look and feel great as I said many times. I want the medium sized built, kind of like what Taylor Lautner has, something like that. I don’t think I’ll get any bigger than that. I’m not even up there yet and still have ways to go. I’m noticing small changes and small results but it may take me 5 years or more to get a really fit look. I do get people noticing that I’ve been working out so that’s a good start so far.

I was recommended to get this book by other body builders and fitness people online. So thanks for grabbing my attention to this book. I’ll be hooked to this thing.
