Metallica tickets for the Times Union Center for their November 12th show in Albany, N.Y. go on sale this Saturday at 10 a.m. I’m definitely going to order two tickets this weekend, I’ll find a friend or a family member to go with.

In other Metallica news, their “Guitar Hero” game is out in stores now, which I definitely plan on picking up soon. I don’t know about this week, I gotta wait for my next paycheck, then I’ll go pick up the game after I get paid.

After I pick up “Guitar Hero: Metallica”, that will be my last game, I will purchase for a while. I got plenty of games to keep me busy.

I’m currently playing the videogame, “Bioshock”, then I gotta beat “Resident Evil 5”. I’m really looking forward to “Guitar Hero: Metallica”, I think that’s looking like to be the best Guitar Hero game ever made. “Guitar Hero: Aerosmith” is an okay game, I think, “Guitar Hero: Metallica” is going to be way better. Looking forward to it.

Report: “Star Trek” sequel already greenlighted by Paramount…

Even if J.J. Abrams “Star Trek” didn’t even come out yet, Paramount already greenlighted the sequel. J. J. Abrams Bad Robot is on board for producing again, but there is no official word if J.J. will return to direct the sequel. There are three different writers hired for the sequel.

The writers are not doing anything with the script at this point, because they are waiting to see an audience reaction to this “Star Trek” film when it hits theaters May 8th. So the writers basically, have no plans for a storyline right at this moment.

I bet the sequel will be entirely focused on the young cast just like the upcoming film.

Now this will make William Shatner feel better because since he didn’t make this movie for a role, maybe, they will bring the adult Captain Kirk back to the sequel? I think the Shat got their attention that he wants back in the new movies, and he may get his chance next time around.

The best news I’ve read all day!!! FNL fans! You don’t have to worry about “Friday Night Lights” getting cancelled, ’cause that won’t happen anytime soon, at least for now. The show has been renewed for Season 4 and 5 for a full 26 episodes!!!

Cool Video: Slash rocks with kids at middle school…

This is very cool. Guitar icon, Slash, made an appearance at the East Los Angeles Belvedere, Middle School, to teach kids how to play guitar and other instruments by forming their own band in the classroom. You can see the kids jamming on “Sweet Child Of Mine” with Slash with a young girl singing the lead vocals.

As you music fans probably already know, Slash is a family man, with wife and has kids on his own, so you can tell that Slash is very good with kids as you see in this video. Plus, I’m sure Slash’s wife, Perla, talked him into doing this stuff.

What the hell is Axl Rose thinking when he talks trash at Slash publicily on the internet? Fuck Axl. Slash seems like a very nice and down to earth man from what I see here.

I enjoyed seeing the kids, playing “Sweet Child Of Mine”.

Heh, now this reminds me of the Jack Black movie, “School of Rock”. Way to go Slash!!! The man is doing a great thing and hopes he keeps doing stuff like that for kids!

Report: Scott Hall to soon join the club of dead wrestlers?

TNA star Kevin Nash, who is also well known for his work in WCW and early WWE (he wrestled under the name of Diesel), and Nash is a well known member of the wrestling group, the nWo, speaks out on his longtime wrestling friend and partner, Scott Hall. If you don’t remember Scott Hall, he too was a member of the nWo along with Hulk Hogan. Hall also wrestled in WWE under the name of Razor Ramone back in the 80’s.

Scott Hall has been battling substance abuse and alcohol for many years, Kevin Nash says he still is. Is Hall about to join the club of dead wrestlers this year? I know it ain’t cool to predict death on someone but when it comes to wrestling after all the wrestlers that died of drugs and alcohol, I think that makes it okay to.

BREAKING NEWS: Liam Neeson goes back to acting right away, finishes his recent film, “Chloe”…

Actor Liam Neeson is a pretty amazing guy to stay strong and return to work as soon as possible, after the tragic death of his wife Natasha Richardson. After a very brief hiatus from film, Liam just finished filming his next movie, “Chloe”. Look like he’s going back to work after all and maybe he won’t turn down the “Clash of the Titans” remake and may still do it.

I think Liam is moving forward in his career ’cause he’s giving what his wife would want. I think Natasha would want him to move forward in his career, and he’s probably doing this for her since she was an actress herself.

Good for Liam for staying strong and positive.

Report: Bond girl, Gemma Arterton set for “Clash of the Titans” remake…

007 “Quantum of Solace” star, Gemma Arterton is set to star in the upcoming remake of the Greek Mythology film, “Clash of the Titans”. She plays the demi-goddess, which Gemma explains in this article that her character is not in the original 1981 film. Gemma says Persues falls in love with her but the article censored the major spoiler parts.

Sam Worthington is already set to play Persues. Liam Neeson has been offered to play the role of Zues, but due to the tragic death of his wife, looks like he may be dropping out of the project.

I hope this film is worth remaking and hope it’ll be good. I’ve said a long time ago, that a “Clash of the Titans” remake shouldn’t be made, and still stand by it. If they make the trailers good enough to get me out to the theater to check it out, maybe I’ll like it, who knows.

Report: “Weird Al” Yankovic gets cameo in Rob Zombie’s “H2″…

Rob Zombie announced that funny man musician, “Weird Al Yankovic” will be having a cameo appearance in the Halloween sequel, “H2”. Al is set to be a guest on, “The Newman Hour” which is a television program that will be doing a show on Dr. Loomis and his new book. “Weird Al” Yankovic has been well known to star in a handful of cameos in so many films over the years, including the “Naked Gun” trilogy and more.
