Report: David Coverdale thinks Led Zep should record new album with guest vocalists…

David Coverdale, who once sang for Jimmy Page on the “Coverdale/Page” album, says that Jimmy Page should back off on the Led Zeppelin tour with a new singer and just make a new album with different special guests singers instead. Coverdale used Santana’s “Supernatural” as an example.

I am not afraid to say that I actually like David’s idea. Jimmy Page has already done something like this before. He’s done it with his solo album “Outrider” released back in 1988, Pagey’s only solo album had different guest singers. Mostly singers we don’t even know about like John Miles, Leon Russell, Chris Farlowe, and of course Robert Plant sang a song on “Outrider”. “Outrider” was also the first time that Jason Bonham played drums on an album with Jimmy Page, so that O2 reunion wasn’t the first time Pagey and Plant played with Jason.

Jimmy Page doing another album with his new band with different guest singers is a good idea. I can see all kinds of today’s rock singers singing for Pagey’s new Led Zeppelin band. Singers like Chris Cornell, Eddie Vedder, Dave Grohl, James Hetfield, David Bowie, David Coverdale, Neil Young, Eric Clapton, Scott Weiland, etc.

Although I don’t see this happening anytime soon.

Report: Drew Peterson soon to be married to another 23 year old…his next victim?

Drew Peterson, a former Bolingbrook, Illinois, police seargant, announced he is engaged to a mysterious 23 year old woman but would not reveal her identity. She is the same age as Stacy Peterson who disappeared in October of 2007. Drew proposed to the mystery woman after only four months of dating her.

My question is, why would any woman want to be with this man since he is the suspect and could be responsible for the Stacy Peterson disappearance? Also, why would any woman want to be with him since he had a long history of domestic violence? Oh that’s right, Drew is a retired police seargant, so he must be rich and wealthy.

If anything happens to this new woman, lets hope the authorities do the right thing by keeping an eye on him. Who ever this woman is marrying Drew Peterson, is probably a spoiled little brat, a gold digger just marrying him for the money, not thinking straight that he could beat her too.

He doesn’t want the news media to find out who his new future wife is, but the media will find out quick enough.

Report: “Watchmen” trial date pushed back to Jan. 20th…

A Los Angeles federal judge moved the Twentieth Century Fox vs. Warner Bros. “Watchmen” trial back to Jan. 20th. The reason is, Judge Gary Allen Fees announced, he had to handle a criminal matter on Jan. 6 which was the original trial date for “Watchmen”.

For those who had forgotten what this war is about, Twentieth Century Fox claims they own the rights to the “Watchmen” graphic novel written by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons so Fox can make it into a movie themselves. Too late, Warner Bros. already made the movie and Warner Bros. claim they own the copyrights, not Fox. Fox filed a federal suit aagainst Warner Bros., demanding that Warner Bros. not make the film and not release it at all. Meaning that Fox wants to destroy Warner Bros. “Watchmen” project forever.

Zack Snyder, the director of “Watchmen” has never backed down, they are still moving forward on releasing the film even if they have a lawsuit on their hands. “Watchmen” has already released another trailer and more posters, and the release date for the film is still March 6th, 2009. Warner Bros. continues to fight for their copyrights of the film.

I’m still feeling that Warner Bros. will win this battle all the way, so they can release “Watchmen”. Warner Bros. will be victorious. Hang in there, Warner Bros., keep fighting. FOX are a bunch of greedy assholes anyway.

I bought the “Watchmen” graphic novel by Alan Moore, a while back but haven’t read it yet because I’m still reading the “Twilight” series. I will start reading the “Watchmen” graphic novel soon though before the movie comes out. I want this film to be released. It would be sad if Twentieth Century Fox wins and if FOX took “Watchmen” away from us, I will never watch a film by Fox again if they win the battle. Warner Bros. has my support.

BREAKING NEWS: Adam Walsh…the unsolved murder of little boy case is solved and closed…

Authorities in South Florida say they’ve finally solved the mystery of the murder of Adam Walsh, who is the son of John Walsh, the former host of the popular reality show “America’s Most Wanted” that used to air on TV back in the day.

The police say that serial killer, Ottis Toole, is the man responsible for murdering Adam Walsh. Ottis Toole, died in prison more than a decade ago. John Walsh himself believe Ottis killed Adam for many years but today they discovered evidence to prove that Ottis is really the killer. Sources online would not say how they discovered that Ottis is the killer though.

Back in 2007, serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer was suspected of killing Adam Walsh, but later John Walsh showed on his TV show “America’s Most Wanted”, that it wasn’t Dahmer, John still pointed the blame on Ottis.

My final Oscar award nomination for “Best Picture” prediction here…

I did this before in the past, but this is my final prediction of what will get nominated for the Oscars in Feb. of 2009 for “Best Picture”. Usually there are 5 films nominated every year for the “Best Picture” award and this is my pick.

I have only seen a few of these movies, but the ones I haven’t seen yet, I know will get nominated due to the hype…

Here’s my final predictions below:

“The Dark Knight”

“Wall-E”

“Frost/Nixon”

“Changeling”

“Milk”

Everybody knows why “The Dark Knight” will definitely get in. “Wall-E” will definitely get it no matter what happens. “Frost/Nixon” will definitely get in because of Ron Howard. “Changeling” will get it no matter what happens ’cause it rings Clint Eastwood everytime he’s at the Oscars every year with a new film. “Milk” starring Sean Penn will get it because they know that the film about a real life gay politician will create controversy in the media if it got nominated.

Out of this list, I only saw “The Dark Knight” and “Changeling” but the other three films looks really great. Mark my words, these five films will get the nomination. I don’t think films like “The Wrestler”, “Valkyrie” or “Benjamin Button” will get nominated at all.

I would be very surprised if “Valkyrie” got nominated for Best Picture all of a sudden, since it’s a WW II Nazi flick about Hitler, and it would be a shock if “Valkyrie” got the nomination and if it even wins. I would even be surprised if Tom Cruise wins for Best Male In a Leading Role nomination for “Valkyrie” as well. While “Valkyrie” does look really good, I don’t think it’s Oscar worthy.

Eastwood’s other film “Gran Torino” looks amazing as well, but I think “Changeling” will get the nomination instead of “Gran Torino”.

We’ll just wait until the official Oscar nominations come out to the press, to see if I got my predictions right.

Report: Harrison Ford set to star in JJ Abrams comedy titled, “Morning Glory”…

Not too long ago, MTV News reported that Harrison Ford hinted, he will work on a comedy with JJ Abrams. Here are the details. The film is simply titled, “Morning Glory”, the film will be directed by Roger Michell. The film is produced by JJ Abrams film company, Bad Robot.

Aline Brosh McKenna wrote the script, she is also the writer for the movie, “The Devil Wears Prada”. This film will be made through Paramount Pictures, the same studio where Ford last worked on “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”.

Actress Rachel McAdams is set to star alongside Ford in “Morning Glory”.

Rachel plays an aspiring news reporter who tries to save a failing morning show by getting control of it’s feuding anchors. Ford is set to play one of those anchors she is feuding with.

Will there be jokes making fun of Indiana Jones or Han Solo for laughs in this film? I hope not. Leave Harrison’s other characters out of this film.

Seems like everytime Harrison tries to do a comedy, it fails in the box office. This one can be a hit if done right and hope they do make it a funny one.

Report: Cheech and Chong still smokin’ for a new movie but it will be animated…

Since Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong buried the hatchet, reunited and now touring comedy shows all over the world, they had announced they will team up with Big Vision Entertainment to make an animated film about these two stoned comedians. Of course, Cheech and Tommy will do the voice overs.

The name of the movie will be “Cheech and Chong’s Smokin’ Animated Movie”, it will simply be about using scenes from their past live action films, making them animated versions, it will be a library of their past 6 films.

This looks to be a direct-to-DVD release, not a big screen release.
