Report: Naked baby on the Nirvana “Nevermind” cover is all growed up…

The famous Nirvana album cover for “Nevermind” the one with the naked baby in a swimming pool floating toward a fishing line with a dollar bill on it, is now 17 years old. Spencer Elden looks back at the famous Nirvana cover after 17 years and admits to find it embarrassing to find himself as a naked baby on an album cover that so many people all over the world has already seen.

The kid Spencer Elden is not living the rich and famous world, and not in any big career. He got his fame just for that one photo for the album cover. He is just a normal everyday person like all of us, living with family and still in high school. He also says being a kid now isn’t as great as being a kid in the 90’s.

How did Spencer get the job for getting dunked underwater for a photo for an album cover? Spencer’s father is a friend of a photographer who was shooting photos for the “Nevermind” album. “Nevermind” became the biggest selling album in the history of music and now the whole world knows what Spencer is like as a naked baby. “Nevermind” is still a very popular album to this day and forever will be.

I remember when I first bought the album when I was a teenager, I was like “wtf”? Why is there a naked baby on the album cover in a swimming pool? I’m sure everyone who bought the album thought the same thing and that’s the point. It was meant to be a controversial album cover to help create a buzz in the music business.

Just beat “Viking: The Battle For Asgard” today…

Today on my day off of work, I just beat the game “Viking: The Battle For Asgard” for the PS3. I thought the game was great and very well made. The action was a lot of fun and some of the missions were actually difficult and challenging especially the level before the final boss at the end of the game was the most challenging of the entire game. I think there is going to be a sequel to “Viking” ’cause the ending just left open for another one.

Yep, I beat another game for the PS3, and now I can move on to another game. I did buy another game for the Ps3 the last time I went to the mall to see “The Dark Knight” again. I finally got around to buying “The Bourne Conspiracy” game that I’ve been wanting. I won’t play the “Bourne” game next though.

I’m probably gonna play some “Guitar Hero: Aerosmith” today and maybe start either “Iron Man” or “Metal Gear Solid 4” tonight. Don’t know. I’ll pick something. I love collecting video games again, so far I have a total of 8 games for the ps3. I still haven’t beaten all of them, I’m going through just one at a time.

Report: Stephen King delivers “N” animated comics to your mobile cell phones…

At this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego, the festival revealed the big news that Stephen King will publish a new comic book “short story” series with Marvel that will be delivered to your cell phones. A short story comic titled “N”. Starting Monday, 25 episodes of the short story “N” will be delivered to your cell phones 5 times a week until Aug. 29th. Each episode will be two minutes long and the whole story is 54 pages.

A book version of the story will be released in bookstores Nov. 11th. Stephen King has been experimenting with comic books as of late as he always been a fan of comic books. In fact, comic books is what made the man want to become a writer in the first place because when he was a child, he started reading horror comics like “Tales from the Crypt”, “Tales From the Vault”, etc. His first comic book released was “Creepshow” which was later made into a major motion picture.

Now King is releasing the Dark Tower series into comic book versions with Marvel. Soon he will release “The Stand” into comic book versions with Marvel too. While Stephen King himself wasn’t there in person at the San Diego comic con, he was at the New York Comic Con to promote the Dark Tower graphic novels with Marvel.

Stephen’s comic work is great, I read the first Dark Tower graphic novel, I need to get the new one now.

Cool Video: “Tron 2” bootlegged teaser trailer at Comic Con…

Trailers of the “Tron 2” bootleg at Comic Con are starting to leak youtube. It was taken on a cell phone video camera probably, so the quality is not that bad but you can still hear and see the trailer pretty good. This is live at Comic Con so you will hear the audience cheering as they see an aging Jeff Bridges appear on screen. Look like we will see a bearded Jeff Bridges in the next Tron film.

Like I said before, with today’s computer technology they will make the new “Tron” very impressive, and from the looks of the trailer, it looks fucking awesome!

I can’t wait for this trailer to hit the internets in profesional quality, full screen and not the bootleg version.

Enjoy this. I’m already getting psyched for “Tron 2”, the audience at Comic Con seems to be thrilled at the sequel too.

Shane McMahon who is the real life son of Vince McMahon will appear on RAW this Monday night to announce the new RAW GM.

From WWE.com:

http://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/preview/6876948/

Who will the new RAW GM be?

Will it be Eric Bischoff, Theadore Long, Vicky Guerrero or even Stone Cold Steve Austin?

My guess it will be a tie between Vicky Guerrero or Stone Cold. It wouldn’t surprise me if it is Stone Cold.

Report: Red Sonja official movie poster revealed at Comic Con…

The poster above for the “Red Sonja” remake which stars Rose McGowan has been revealed at this year’s Comic Con movie festival. Both Rose and Robert Rodriguez were there at Comic Con in person to discuss the film and reveal a few surprising things. Rose says she’s getting excited and thrilled about the remake and Robert says he’s always been a fan of the Red Sonja comics.

More on it here:

It could actually be a great flick if made right. To be honest, I never really liked the original Red Sonja movie that starred Briggitte Nielsen and Arnold. I hope they make this one a lot better.

Report: Fleetwood Mac to reunite?

Fleetwood Mac are in talks of reuniting for a tour and Lindsey Buckingham the guitarist for the band says there is an album on the way too. There were rumours about Sheryl Crow joining in on vocals for the band for their tour but Lindsey denied it by saying, “Sheryl Crow joining just lost it’s momentum”.

NME.com reports:

http://www.nme.com/news/fleetwood-mac/38454

I’ve always enjoyed Fleetwood Mac. Their old stuff is better of course. Glad they got a new album in the works finally.

Report: Former Smashing Pumpkins members sue Virgin records…

Wow! The Smashing Pumpkins really do have some beef against the Virgin Records label do they? Billy Corgan is not the only one who sued the label, James Iha and D’arcy Wretzky-Brown is suing the label too, the two former members are accusing the label of not paying them their profits when they signed the deal with Billy Corgan. It is for downloads and other digital material of the Smashing Pumpkins music such as Itunes  and sites like those.

Billboard reports:

http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003831909

Why is money so important to these rock stars? If that was me, I wouldn’t care. I’d be flattered if my songs were sold digitally if I was a famous rock star, but unfortunately to these two, it’s understandable why they want their money from Virgin since they are no longer in the band. When was the last time you saw James Iha or D’arcy do something musically? Nothing from what I see.

Report: Stefano Dimera returning to “Days of Our Lives” in August…

From left to right: EJ Wells (played by James Scott), Stefano Dimera (played by Joseph Mascolo), and Tony Dimera (played by Thao Penghlis)

According to various sources in the world of Soap Opera news, the Phoenix is returning!!! Stefano Dimera is confirmed to be returning to “Days of Our Lives” in early August, first return date is marked Aug. 4th.

Stefano will be back to get his revenge on who ever put him in a coma and all hell will break loose in Salem once again. The question is, what would Stefano’s feelings would be when he finds out that John Black now owns the Dimera mansion? Would Stefano like the idea of John allowing Marlena, Sami, and EJ all living in the Dimera mansion? This ought to be interesting.

For fans of the show, I know there are some out there, just wanted to give you a heads up. The shows been kind of boring without him and Stefano’s one of the reasons I started watching the show several years ago. He’s one of the baddest TV villains ever.

Stefano Dimera has been a popular character on the show for a long time.
