I'm a musician, singer/songwriter, blogger, writer, poet, bodybuilder, movie lover, music lover, video gamer, history/political buff, conservative/republican, etc. I like to do a lot of things.

Interesting how everybody’s loving Lady Gaga all of a sudden…

While Lady Gaga did avoid politics for most of her Halftime performance, she still managed to sneak in a few things here and there. Other than the “This Land is Your Land” song, she also did the “Born This Way” promoting LGBT rights and equality. That was all, for the most part she did avoid politics. Why? Did she finally accept that Trump is our president? No. I think she still hates him.

Keep in mind, y’all that the Grammy’s are gonna be on this Sunday night and I’m sure she’s slated to perform the Grammy’s this Sunday and she’ll probably present an award too. I’m sure Gaga will go back to her usual left-wing political bullshit. She had to avoid politics mostly at the Superbowl so she can avoid a backlash from Trump supporters probably. Everyone’s on the internet going… “Yay, Gaga’s trying to bring everyone together in a positive way”… no. She only had to do that for the Superbowl and like I said, she’ll go back to her usual bullshit after the Superbowl is over. She’ll go back to hating Trump again, watch her.

What did I think of her halftime performance musically? Everybody’s saying how she rocked it and killed it but honestly I didn’t find it anything special. She’s just a typical pop star like the rest of them and I think the only reason the NFL had her on was so that they can try to make people have more respect to pop music. Not happening with me ’cause I hate most mainstream pop music. I used to like Gaga but stopped liking her. The music industry is getting a lot worse.

How about some real talent next year? I would like Metallica or Ac/Dc to perform Superbowl halftime next year or even better the reunited Guns N’ Roses would be cool too. Nope, the NFL will get another pop star next year. Who’s it gonna be next year? Justin Bieber? Jay-Z? Wouldn’t be surprised.

I’m gonna keep politics out of my music from now on…

From this point forward when I make new songs, I’m going to keep politics out of them completely. Meaning no protest songs, no topical songs, etc. None of that stuff. I used to write songs like that in the past but no more. There are too many musicians and songwriters out there that brings politics into music whether left-wing views or right-wing views. I believe music shouldn’t about politics anymore. If I were to ever play live again, I won’t even rant about politics in between songs ’cause I hate it when bands & artists do that shit. I want to keep politics separate from music the best I can.

I will still talk about politics on my blog and social networking but in my music, no. What will I write about in my upcoming new songs whenever I start writing again? I would write autobiographical songs… write song about myself and write songs about what I’m feeling. I would continue to write fictional stories by song too ’cause I’ve always liked doing that.

I’ve always wanted to write songs based on fantasy stories and medieval & Viking type of stuff. Write songs telling stories inspired by Game of Thrones and the show Vikings (on the history channel). I’ll try writing songs like that too. So if I were to make a metal album sometime down the road, I would write metal songs based on medieval and Viking stories ’cause I love that stuff. Fantasy stories inspired by the “Elder Scrolls” video games too which are games that I love to play especially “Skyrim”. I would love to try writing a song where a hero knight fights dragons and an evil sorceress, that kind of thing.

Time to leave politics out of music ’cause I’m tired of that too. Wish other bands & artists would do the same. I want all people to enjoy my music.

So glad I bought this book called “Music Theory For Computer Musicians”, already an insightful read and helpful!

I’ve read the first chapter of this book already today and wow, I’m impressed! This book was worth the purchase after all. The book was kind of pricey but I bought it ’cause I wanted to improve myself with my work on DAW software. Yeah, I am a computer musician who prefers to make music digitally and I really need to improve that stuff. Thanks for the first chapter of this book, I now understand sound frequency and know what Hertz or kilohertz is. That first chapter gave me a better understanding of sound and all that stuff.

This book is definitely a must-read for those who make music on your computers through DAW’s and shit. I’m not even done with this book yet and already loving it!

I really need to get better with DAW recording and I will. I’ve always sucked at it over the years. I was never all that good with home recording but after doing heavy research on recording gear, I’m really getting the hang of it. I remember a year or 2 ago, I finally bought myself a basic home studio setup. New audio interface (Focusrite Scarlett 2i4), PreSonus monitors, pop filter for microphone and a way better computer!

I really need to get good with DAW recording so I can make better sounding music which is my goal. I want to produce all my music myself. Track it, mix it, master it, etc. Do it all on my own. I got to figure out how to make the MP3 sound louder after rendering ’cause each time I render a song to MP3, the volume gets lower for some reason. I’ll figure it out by doing some reading so hopefully these books will help me.

I’ll get better with home recording at some point. Just gotta practice, do my homework on this stuff, doing some reading and researching.

If I were to start recording music again, what music would I make? Like I said before, I would try to make all kinds of music. Try to make everything but I mostly want to keep my focus on guitar rock oriented music. I want to try to make tight rock n’ roll which I will. I will still write some acoustic songs and try to write piano ballads too. I want to make rock guitar music. I’ll try to make full band music using MIDI and all that stuff.

Is James Hetfield having throat issues after years of singing for Metallica??? Me thinks he’s getting burnt out… time to slow it down boys…

Metallica had to pull out of in a middle of a concert early ’cause James was having trouble singing even they still played a bunch of songs. They stopped the concert before the end of it.

https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/news/general_music_news/metallica_was_forced_to_cut_tonights_concert_short_due_to_james_hetfields_illness.html

Metallica finally put out a statement explaining that James had throat issues. What is wrong with him? Is it simply because of years and years of singing with Metallica nonstop? The band tours heavily nonstop all year long and all year round. The band is a workhorse. James sings so much over the years whether during live shows and in the studio.

Singing maybe fun but after years and years of doing it and as you get older, it’ll start to damage your throat. James is quite a powerful singer. He’s got pipes for sure and after years of singing, it’s finally getting to him. Keep in mind, he’s not young anymore. He’s in his 50’s.

I think it’s finally time for the band to wake up and realize they aren’t kids anymore. They started Metallica when they were young kids. This band worked so hard over the years and do you think it’s finally time for them to slow down a bit? I understand the need for the band for wanting to tour but at that age, I don’t think they can take it. Maybe play some shows yearly but not a full tour all year long like they do every year.

Hopefully the issues of James’s throat won’t force him to quit singing for good ’cause that would suck. Whether you like Metallica or not, James is a great singer. Always knew that.

Just bought a couple of books for my Ipad that would help with my DAW music recording…

So today, I just bought a couple of books that could help me a lot with DAW recording. I’ll admit that I’m not the best at DAW recording but I could learn to do it better. A lot of musicians would just record bits and bits of riffs and things like that and edit it them together. I tried to do it like that but it’s hard to do. That’s why I’ve always liked to record the song live… play it all the way through while it’s recording. I love recording songs “live” in DAW but I should record songs the other way… record bits and bits of piece and put them together. I gotta learn how to use DAW like a pro. I’ve always saw DAW as a tool to get songs out of me. I didn’t care about sound quality or editing or anything like that but I should. So I just got a couple of books that would help me

I just got these to read on my Ipad:

Making Music With GarageBand and Mixcraft:

Music Theory For Computer Musicians:

I already know quite a bit of music theory and have most of it memorized but there’s still a lot of stuff I gotta learn. The “Music Theory For Computer Musicians” would help me with MIDI instruments when multi-tracking other instruments, ya know?

I really need to learn how to use DAW like a pro ’cause once again, I admittedly suck at these things. I’m also gonna learn mixing and mastering all by myself too. Well, there is a guy that I know who actually went to college for music “producing” so maybe I’ll have him help me out some.

I just want to record the best sounding music possible. So I’m gonna do some researching and studying. Figure out how to do all this myself. I will always be a “self-taught” kind of guy ’cause I like that better.

As for learning the piano/keyboards, that’s going really well too. I want to get good at piano/keyboards before I get myself a MIDI controller. Piano is not all that hard after all. Just gotta practice and stick with it just like you stick with everything else.

The MSM thinks”Liberalism” is for blacks and gays but they fail at that goal…

A lot of people out there are having a hard time seeing that there are black conservatives and gay conservatives out there in this country. It may not seem like it but yes, there are black conservatives and gay conservatives in this country. A lot of people think Liberalism is for blacks and gays but it’s not always going to be like that. Deal with it. Nobody knows about some blacks and some gays being “conservative” but they do exist.

That’s why liberals become so shocked and get all scared when they find out that there are black conservatives out there such as Dr. Ben Carson, Herman Cain, Sheriff Clarke, Pastor Mark Burns, Stacy Dash and others.

And there are gay conservatives out there … so far the most well-known gay conservative I can think of are Milo Yiannopoulos and Peter Thiel. Maybe throw in Caitlyn Jenner in that list too, I would think.

It’s funny ya know, whenever the left finds out there are black and gay conservatives… they can’t find a way to call them “racist” or “homophobes”. That’s why the media and liberals are calling Milo an “extremist”and “white nationalist” ’cause they can’t find a way to call him a “homophobe”. So they think of other ways to call him names and make him look bad.

The MSM tries to make “liberalism” just for a certain group of people but they fail at that goal ’cause there are all kinds of other people with all kinds of political views. The media needs to realize that not everyone sees the world the same way they do and it’s one of the reasons why we’re all getting fed up with their shit.

Media tries so hard to fight for peace and love for “blacks” but when a black guy happens to be a conservative, the media is like, “Oh no, he’s a bad person”. Then they waste all their time trying to smear him ’cause of his conservative views. Isn’t that kind of racist to bash a black person ’cause of his/her conservative views?

The same thing with the media and liberals that try to destroy Milo and Peter Thiel, isn’t that kind of homophobic?

This country makes it seem like that being “conservative” is like a bad thing. I try not to view myself as a “conservative” guy but I guess I am pretty conservative and quite proud of it, really. I’ve gotten treated badly by a lot of people ’cause of my conservative views, yes. Shame on the media, I totally blame it on them.

We don’t make fun of liberals for their intolerance for no reason. I used to have left-leaning views in the past during the Bush years but my views started to change when Obama became president. That’s when I became a conservative ’cause Barack Obama helped make me become one, lol. The way liberalism is now, I don’t want to see myself as a liberal at all. I feel sorry for liberals today. They’re all being brainwashed by the MSM which is sad to see. I try my best to tell liberals not to believe the MSM but sure enough, they don’t listen to me. It’s real sad that they only listen to the MSM and not real people like us.

Anyways, back to black and gay conservatives… not a lot of people know they exist ’cause the MSM refuses to let people know. Why? Because it’ll make liberalism look bad. They want to protect liberalism and make it look good most of the time. It’s messed up, I know. It’ll mess up their views of “race relations” and “equality” goals if they did let people know they exist.

A lot of people in facebook, man… they don’t know that Milo is gay. They know that Milo was supposed to host a speaking event at Berkeley but if the MSM said he is a gay conservative, that would have freaked out liberals in social networking. That’s why they’re silent on his orientation.

Our media is so corrupt and dishonest. Can’t you see it? If you take everything they say seriously then you’re not very smart at all.

Most of the MSM refuses to say Milo Yiannopoulos is gay when reporting about the Berkeley College violence at his speaking event…

Once again, the left spent years fighting so hard defending gays but they attack Milo Yiannopoulos who happens to be a gay guy. I thought they wanted “equality for all” but unless a gay person is conservative and a Trump supporter, they’re not allowed “equality”. While the liberal MSM is reporting about violence at Berkeley College, they of course refuse to call it what it really is, “a riot” (it’s not a protest).

Most of the media refuses to say what Milo’s sexual orientation is but when they do bring up his homosexuality, they attack him like this article here:

http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/02/politics/milo-yiannopoulos-white-men-scholarship-trnd/

I’ve repeatedly stated before that I’ve always thought the left’s “equality for all” was such a joke. “Equality for all” should go both ways even for gays with different political beliefs.

There’s no reason to invade Milo events. The only reason he’s being attacked is ’cause he’s a Trump supporter and that’s it, really. They’re also scared of him ’cause he’s a gay conservative which they’ve never seen before.

While the riots at Trump and Milo events are horrible and they need to stop, Trump needs to do something about George Soros. George Soros is the one funding these riots and he’s in charge of them. Soros needs to be locked up. Why won’t President Trump mention Soros or why won’t Trump say Soros is behind the riots? Trump probably doesn’t know who’s behind the riots yet. Well he should know. Everybody knows Soros is behind them all.

The left better be careful when they attack Milo events. This will solve nothing for them. The only thing that will happen is that this will help make Milo become a best selling author. He has a book coming out called, “Dangerous” which is about to hit bookstores in March. I am absolutely buying this book when it comes out in March:

I see nothing wrong with Milo. Trying to wake people up and saying all the same things we’ve all been thinking.

Drum programming in Acoustica Mixcraft looks pretty easy, I’ll be able to add drums to my songs with no problem!

Ever since I upgraded to the full version of Acoustica Mixcraft 8 DAW software, I’ve been trying to mess with drum programming on it. Trying to figure out how I would add drums to my songs. It seems they make it easy for ya.

As long as you have a sense of rhythm and understanding timing — also, having an understanding of reading drum notation, you should be good.

http://www.freedrumlessons.com/drum-lessons/reading-drum-notation.php

I have a drummer’s instructional book so I can learn how to create basic rock beats with that. I could probably get drum beats of what I’m hearing in my head to recording easily. I’m still planning on getting Superior Drummer or ToonTrack EZ Drummer sometime down the road but I’ll start off with what I have now.

Even though I want to start writing and recording full band rock tracks, I will still make acoustic music, though. With my acoustic songs I can add all kinds of various instruments on those type of songs like bongos, congas, cellos, saxophones and all kinds of stuff. There are all kinds of percussion instruments on here that I can mess with.

I like Mixcraft a lot. Think I’m definitely gonna stick with this DAW. I’m new to this software so it’s gonna take a while for me to get good with it.

I’m also gonna teach myself mixing and mastering as well ’cause I want the best sounding music as possible. I remember in the past when I was recording on other DAW’s, I had trouble trying to get the MP3 to sound loud after rendering. That’s probably ’cause I’ve been rendering unmastered tracks. If I want the songs to sound loud after rendering to MP3, I need to learn how to master. That’s the whole point of mastering I believe. I’m gonna teach myself mixing and mastering by reading books about it. I’ve been googling about that stuff too.

I’m tired of recording on DAW with just my voice and acoustic guitar. Time to do some creative stuff with my music this time around.

I don’t obsess with love songs too much but I do like some of them. Here are my favorite love songs of all time. These 10 songs will always be amazing. No need to explain why I love each of these songs ’cause they’re all great songs. I can listen to these all the time and would never get tired of ’em.
