Bob Rock claims Jimmy Page and Jack White loved Metallica’s “St. Anger” album…

Bob Rock, who produced the 2003 Metallica album, “St. Anger” went on to Chris Jericho’s podcast show to talk about the album and other things. Bob Rock defended the album by claiming that Jimmy Page and Jack White telling him that they loved it. He then went on to defend the production of the album, the sound quality of Lars’s drums and the album having no guitar solos.

I know it’s not everyone’s favorite Metallica album but I loved it ever since the album came out and still do. It’s unique and different. I respect them for that album ’cause after many years of playing thrash metal all the time…the band decided they wanted to get away from that and try something new. That was the goal of this album, I believe. They wanted a break from the thrash metal stuff.

No matter what people thought of the album, the album is still pretty heavy and tight though. Just listen to the songs. I think “Frantic” and “Some Kind of Monster” are the best songs off the album, though. Seriously guys, you should really give this album another chance. Listen to the album. Actually listen to it all the way through with the volume cranked up and you would hear that it’s not that bad at all.

This album is still “metal”… just a different feel of it. I think “St. Anger” has Hetfield’s best singing by the way too.

I don’t understand music fans. They’re always hating on Metallica on “EVERYTHING” and yet, they keep begging for more music from them. How much do you wanna bet that when Metallica’s new album comes out this year… everybody will be shitting on it?

“St. Anger” is a pretty sick album, in my opinion. I don’t hear anything wrong with it.

Obama honoring the Patriots at the White House thoughts…

I just listened to Obama’s speech at the White House honoring the Patriots. The Patriots got honored at the White House for winning the Superbowl earlier this year. Obama was acting like a stand up comedian throughout the speech. Telling jokes and getting everybody laughing throughout the whole thing. Obama even made a joke about the ball deflating controversy and the team seems to have been offended by it a little.

Rob Gronkowski, who is the tight end for the Patriots responded by saying that Obama may have been a little drunk even though there was no alcohol involved.

Even the Patriots made suspicions that Barack maybe onto something whether he was drinking or whatever.

On top of that, why did Obama have to honor a football team when that is not important for America??? A president wouldn’t waste time honoring sports teams… they have better things to do. Of course, being the narcissistic egomaniac Obummer is… he’s just doing whatever he can to insert himself into everything and that includes sports. He just got himself some new gifts by the Patriots: A football and a jersey with his name on it and an autographed helmet from the team. Whatever makes him happy before his presidency goes out, I guess.

I don’t think he was drunk during this, he was high on crack, probably. Listen to him talk, his speeches are getting worse. He does a lot of “Aaaah” and “uuuuhhhh” even when he’s reading off of something. He’s also been walking kind of funny in this video, if you go to about 10:30 in the video, he’ll walk backwards away from the podium and bumps into Bill.

I don’t know but Obama’s acting strange in this video.

The strange myth of trying to sound like other guitar players…

In the guitar community, instructors would try to teach you how to play like your favorite guitar heroes. They would release books, DVDs and even youtube videos to try to teach how to play guitar in the style of Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Joe Satriani, Eric Clapton, BB King, etc. I think you get my point now right? The truth is this is just a silly myth going around in guitar playing. I know how you wanted to pick up the guitar to trying to sound like your guitar hero but you have to learn to accept the fact that you’re never going to sound like your guitar hero. Whether you wanna sound like Hendrix and Page or whoever, you’re never gonna sound like them. You can try to copy their licks note for note all you want to but you’re never gonna get their tone and style.

Some instructors would try to give you the advice that if you wanna improve your playing, they’ll tell you to try to copy the style of your favorite guitar player. Sorry but I disagree. I would suggest to try to stay away from copying your favorite guitarists. If you want your own style in lead guitar and soloing, don’t copy from others. It’s okay to steal and borrow a lick here and there… I do that too but don’t play their solos note for note. Even if you play their solos note for note, you’re not gonna get their style and tone. You’re still gonna get your own.

If you wanna be a better guitar player, don’t play other people’s guitar solos. Always play your own spontaneously. Learn improvisation and practice ear training. That’s what I’m most focused on right now. My ear training skills is getting better and improving greatly. I’m starting to understand the sound of some the keys. Not all of them but getting there. If you wanna be a great lead guitarist and really want it… gotta stay focused. Learning from others will keep you distracted, in my opinion. This is why I always preferred to be a self-taught player and always will be.

Learning from other styles is the wrong way to go. You want your own style and your own guitar tone. While I do like to do cover songs once in a while, I’ll never learn the guitar solos note for note ’cause that’s not what I want to do. I wanna come up with my own licks and phrases.

So don’t believe all that shit when instructors try to teach you how to learn a style of a certain guitar player. It’s all a crock of shit and it’s all a marketing ploy to promote their products.

The truth is, you can start a Led Zeppelin or a Hendrix tribute band all you want to but you’re never gonna sound exactly like ’em. Never. Each guitar player has their own sound. Jimmy Page and Hendrix will always sound like themselves and nobody else can sound like ’em even though they try.

So really, enough with the “Learn guitar in the style of (name guitar player here)” crap ’cause it just doesn’t work. It’s just a stupid myth going around in the guitar community.

It’s either the drugs or he has AIDS guys…

look at the symptoms of AIDS:

rapid weight loss
dry cough
recurring fever or profuse night sweats
profound and unexplained fatigue
swollen lymph glands in the armpits, groin, or neck
diarrhea that lasts for more than a week
white spots or unusual blemishes on the tongue, in the mouth, or in the throat
pneumonia
red, brown, pink, or purplish blotches on or under the skin or inside the mouth, nose, or eyelids
memory loss, depression, and other neurological disorders

Why does Obama have purple lips? Is it lip discoloration from smoking drugs? Or is he actually wearing purple lipstick to hide all the blotches on his mouth?

If he’s got AIDS, that wouldn’t surprise me at all.

Something tells me that Obama have been treated by doctors privately and he’s definitely hiding something from us like he always is. Something tells me that Obama’s health is gonna get worse and he might have to step-down from presidency. If that happens then Joe Biden will have to take over, oh man.

Don’t be surprised if he’s got AIDS. It’s either drugs or he is very sick. Go watch his latest speeches at the Everglades and the drone attack announcement, you would see that he isn’t looking too good at all.

Seriously, I’m not worried or concerned about him, it’s just that Obama’s health is looking pretty serious. It’s amazing that he might be sick and he’s still out there doing his president stuff. Don’t you think he might have to check into a hospital? I predict that he might do that soon. Back when he got treated for “acid reflux” and “sore throat”… I don’t think it’s that. He and the media is definitely hiding something from us.

I’m sure we’ll know soon, though. Give it time. If he’s got AIDS, once again don’t be surprised ’cause of his homosexual lifestyle. Years of sexual relationships with many different men would do that to ya.

Justice For Warren Weinstein… it’s time to hold Obama accountable for this one…

I think Obama’s drone strikes has gone a bit too far by now, don’t you think? I think it’s finally time to do something about the drone program and do something about Obama himself. No matter what you think of this… it’s treason all the way. Whether it was an accident or not, it’s still criminal. The families of Warren Weinstein probably want justice and the only to get justice for Warren Weinstein is to take Obama down.

This should be good enough for impeachment and even arrest for Obama but you know nothing will happen to him. Now that Loretta Lynch is Obama’s Attorney General and Speaker Boehner is Obama’s lapdog, you know nothing is gonna happen to Obama.

That’s why in 2016, I’m hoping that either Ted Cruz or Rand Paul will get elected for the White House ’cause if one of those guys get elected… they’re gonna do all it takes to get Obama to be held accountable. We need an Attorney General who enforces the law and actually follows it. We need an honest Attorney General and hopefully we get that in 2017 when we get a Republican president in the White House.

If we get Hillary Clinton in 2017, we’re gonna be fucking screwed.

My question is, why did it take three months for Obama to announce this accidental drone attack that killed an American and an Italian? RIP to Warren and to that Italian guy too.

Quit defending Obama on every fucking thing, you bunch of losers. It’s why I don’t allow some of my readers to post here anymore ’cause all they fucking do is defend Obama no matter the situation. I delete all comments defending Obama and I feel great about it too. No more of that shit here. I’m done arguing with uneducated and delusional liberals.

Just so you guys know, I’m not on one side at all. I’m even pretty disgusted with the GOP. Both parties are pretty corrupt: Democrats and Republicans. They’re both the same.

Here are the names of the 10 republican senators who voted in for Loretta Lynch, these are the people who I will never support: Sens. Kelly Ayotte (N.H.), Thad Cochran (Miss.), Susan Collins (Maine), Jeff Flake (Ariz.), Lindsey Graham (S.C.), Orrin Hatch (Utah), Ron Johnson (Wis.), Mark Kirk (Ill.), Rob Portman (R-Ohio) and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.).

I’m so sick of Al Sharpton. He was the one who helped recommend Loretta Lynch to Obama. Why? Simply because Obama is dumb and not smart at all. Obama would have a hard time trying to find somebody all by himself. So Obama was all for Al Sharpton helping him.

I also hate Mitch McConnell as that guy is cancerous to the GOP. McConnell should absolutely get the blame for the Lynch confirmation ’cause he’s the Senate majority leader. Behind the scenes, Al Sharpton was probably very persuasive to Mitch. Probably talked him into moving the vote forward for Lynch. McConnell probably allowed the vote to move forward ’cause he was too afraid of the race card, obviously. If McConnell didn’t allow the vote to move forward, it would put his career in jeopardy. McConnell did it to save his career. Period. End of story.

I’m glad to see that Ted Cruz and Rand Paul didn’t vote for Lynch so those two guys have my support.

Now that Lynch is the new Attorney General you can expect race relations and divisiveness to get a lot worse in this country… that’s what Al Sharpton wanted her for. I hope you’re happy Al Sharpton, you racist asshole.

Youtube maybe 10 years old today but soon Facebook video will take it’s spotlight…

You know how that myspace is a thing of the past and is now dead and gone? Well the same thing is gonna happen to youtube. I’m noticing that youtube is getting less and less popular. More people are losing hope for youtube and I am too. It used to be a cool site to upload your homemade videos but I’m starting to lose interest which is pretty much the reason I slowed down on making youtube videos. Why? Too many ads and third party copyrights are bullshit. That’s pretty much the reasons people are turning away from youtube.

Each time I upload a video in facebook instead of youtube, I’m noticing that the video views are better there than youtube. Things go viral quickly in facebook than youtube these days. I am noticing that people don’t post videos from youtube in facebook anymore. Instead they upload videos to facebook itself.

I really am thinking about ditching youtube and just upload my videos to facebook from now on. Facebook video may only have a few features but give it time, though, folks. Mark Zuckerberg will make facebook video more like youtube but he will try to make it even better.

I used to love youtube in the old days but it sucks now. Thanks to google who bought youtube. I blame google for ruining youtube. Facebook video seems to be the way to go.

Guitarist Rusty Cooley says he turned down Megadeth ’cause he didn’t want to play other people’s solos!!

During a podcast interview, virtuoso guitarist, Rusty Cooley says he was approached by Megadeth to join the band to take over Chris Broderick’s place as lead guitarist. Rusty explains he got the call from Dave Mustaine’s management team and then he and Dave chatted through e-mail about joining the band. Rusty thought about it and debated about joining the band but then he started to have second thoughts. Rusty changed his mind and admits that Megadeth isn’t for him. The reason? He just didn’t want to spend like 10 to 20 years playing other people’s guitar solos. If Rusty decided to join the band, he would have to spend hours & hours trying to learn the solos note for note from earlier Megadeth songs and he didn’t want to go through all that. Plus, Rusty wanted to keep his own style and do his own thing.

This is a musician with class and we need more musicians like him. Musicians who are down to earth and has no ego.

Megadeth predictably changes their lineup again for the 20th time, I lost count. Megadeth is a great band and always will be. I respect Dave as a guitar player, singer and songwriter but the constant lineup changes are annoying, though. I’m sure Dave isn’t upset for Rusty turning him down ’cause I’m pretty sure many musicians turned down Megadeth so I would think Dave is pretty used to it.

While Megadeth is a great band, I love their earlier work more, though. Albums like “Killing Is My Business”, “Peace Sells” and “Rust In Peace” are all masterpieces. Love those albums.

I never cared for their latest record, “Super Collider”. I thought it was a pretty bad album. Sometimes that happens with Megadeth. Sometimes they’re good and sometimes they’re not. I don’t understand why Metallica is a huge target of making bad albums when Megadeth had their share of making some bad records too but fans don’t give ’em any flak for it.

Oh my, Obama’s lips looking strangely purple in his latest speech…

Notice the purple lips? Really strange and scary. I listen to this speech and his speaking skills are getting a lot worse even when reading off a teleprompter or a piece of paper. That Everglades speech he did was bad enough. In the past, his speech when reading off a teleprompter was pretty good but his speech these days is getting noticeably worse. Mumbling at times and a lot of slurring in his words. Yeah, I think he’s definitely back on the crack pipe for sure. All the signs are there. Look how creepy his purple lips are, WOW! His purple lips can’t be denied this time and you won’t see too many people noticing that.

And by the way, the last thing you wanna do is trust Obama in his latest announcement. Anything coming from the White House or this administration can’t be trusted or believable. He could make this announcement just to earn more credibility as President before he goes out in 2017. He wants to go out on a positive note by taking responsibility for something he claimed he did wrong.

This is all a crock of shit. After all the bullshit he did to America over the years, he’ll make regrets and feel responsible over this? What about feeling regret and responsible for the 4 deaths in Benghazi? What about Operation F&F and all the other scandals?

If what Obama says is true about Warren Weinstein then this isn’t the first time he’s killed innocent people over drone strikes. He’s killed thousands of innocent people including Americans and innocent women and children who had nothing to do with terrorism. He never felt regret for any of that stuff and he does that now?

And don’t bring George W. into it like you libtards typically do. This isn’t George W. This is Obama. The drone strike program needs to be stopped altogether, I don’t care what president is in charge of it. We gotta get Rand Paul in the White House ’cause that guy will put the drones strikes to an end, he’ll get rid of it once and for all.

Obama is such an egomaniac and a narcissistic piece of garbage. Seriously, fuck him. By now, I’m sure liberals are praising Obama for taking responsibility over this “drone strike”. I’m already seeing a lot of that in liberal facebook groups. Just typical Obama, trying to make himself look like a hero before his presidency goes out. The guy’s an asshole and a douchebag.
