My cousin has been onto me for a long while now. He’s been onto me for a couple of years now actually. That’s why I’ve been trying to ignore him and avoid him as best as possible. He’s been complaining about the way I blog in which he doesn’t like. He gets offended at the way I blog about topics like local music, women, and Obama. The last thing you wanna do is tell me what I can and can’t post online. My cousin thinks he can do that. Not gonna happen. This guy is not my father. This is what he is acting like. I’m not changing for him to please him. I don’t have to do that. I won’t change a thing to satisfy him. I’ll write what I want on my blog or in facebook and I’ll be who I want. If he doesn’t like it, then that’s tough.

He’s been using the internet to bash me. Saying all kinds of negative, hateful and spiteful things about me that are not true. He actually thinks he can talk to me that way and I’m just letting him know that he can’t. Which is a shame ’cause I was very supportive of him and his music and this guy turned into an asshole all of a sudden. I just think he’s an egomaniac. I’m not gonna let him think he can control me like that and that’s what he’s doing. What do you get when you’ve been nothing but supportive toward him and his music and all you get from this guy is that he’s treating you like garbage online?

I don’t care what people think of my blogging. Yes, there are gonna be many that is gonna complain and get all offended but that’s good. That’s a small part of what I blog for is to get people going.

I will talk about the local music scene the way I want to. If I want to have negative opinions about it, I will. I will talk about women any way I want to as well. I will talk about Obama the way I want to.

Once again, nobody tells me what I can and can’t post. Take your stupid drama else where ’cause I don’t care about any of it. Whatever people think of my blogging is only being very opinionated.

I have always gotten mixed responses of my blogging over the years. You either like me or you don’t. I’m good either way like I said before. There are those who really do love reading my blog. There are those who don’t agree with my blogging but they continue to read anyway for a laugh. I also have haters who still read too. It’s always a mix response. I’m okay with all of that.

I don’t like it when people get all over me on my blog telling me what I can and can’t post. People don’t have the right to tell me what to do or tell me how to live my life. My cousin also don’t have the right to judge me for my personal life either and he thinks it’s okay.

Shame. I used to think he was a good dude but now he’s an asshole to me. This is the only time, I’ll be writing about him like this. Just because he’s family, doesn’t mean I have to support and like everything he does although I try. I’m done with that now. Fed up with his immature bullshit and he needs to backoff. Leave me be and worry about himself. Focus on his own music.

Nothing is changing on my blog or the way I write in facebook. I don’t have to please this guy and it’s not gonna happen. Just had to finally vent about this.

One of the toughest things about being part of the musicians community is that you’re gonna have to deal with so much dishonesty with everybody. You will go through a lot of musicians who will pretend to like you when they really don’t. You will go through a lot of musicians who pretend to like your music when they really don’t. There are so much dishonest musicians and you can’t trust any of them out there. Why do musicians pretend to be nice? Why is it when musicians decide they won’t like you anymore they’ll start admitting they never liked you and your music later on? If you’re a musician, I’m sure you go through the same bullshit yourself.

Why do musicians do this? I think they fake it as being a supporter of yours ’cause if they publicly talked trash to you, they know it would hurt their professionalism. That’s pretty much it. They pretend to be nice ’cause they are nice. When they start talking trash at you all of a sudden, it’s not you… they are just showing their true colors. You just proved that these guys can be assholes. There is a lot of assholes in the musicians community, that fact can’t be denied.

The last thing you wanna do is care about anybody’s drama. These guys will try their best to tell me that I’m nothing. They’ll tell me that nobody likes me or my music. You can tell that musicians don’t really like you even though they pretend to show it. There is so much drama and negativity in the musicians community. I know you’re probably sick of me saying this but once again, “jealousy” and “ego” is always a part of why feuds break out between musicians.

Some of these guys like to make me feel like I’m not welcomed and they don’t think I’m talented enough. I’m pretty used to being told that by other musicians by now but you know what? That’s okay. I think they do these things ’cause musicians are hoping that I fail at music. They don’t want to see me succeed and move forward. I think jealousy is a “small” part of it ’cause they’ve seen me improve musically over the years.

1) I’ve gotten better with my singing and got a lot more range than before

2) I’ve gotten a lot better with rhythm guitar and improved my timing with the metronome

3) Gotten better with the songwriting

The more you improve and the more you get better as a musician, the more angry and jealous others get.

Once again, I do music for me and still play music for the small following that I do have. There are people who really do like my music out there and I’m always honored for that.

Wait until you hear my upcoming internet album that I’ve been sitting on. I’m very proud of these songs. It’s coming along well. Got 7 songs for it so far and still got more writing to do. Been writing like crazy.

As far as critics go, you wanna make ’em jealous and angry. When they do, that says something about your talent so you’re okay and all good. If you really sucked, then you wouldn’t be getting all of these mixed responses right?
