Report: Author, Seth Grahame-Smith penning script for new, “Beetlejuice”, movie? Also, Michael Keaton and Tim Burton might come back as well…

The author of, “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter”, and ,”Pride and Prejudice and Zombies”, wants to write the script for a new “Beetlejuice” movie, but wouldn’t say if it will be sequel of the first movie or a re-boot.

Tim Burton says he is game for directing “Beetlejuice” again, and best of all, Michael Keaton wants to return to the character.

More on the story, here.

I’m all for a sequel to, “Beetlejuice”. I’ve always wondered why the film was left with only one movie, when I know you can tell more stories with this character. A sequel should have been made years ago.

I’m sure Michael is going to get accused by many that he will be too old to play Beetlejuice, but the character wore a lot of makeup, so you won’t notice his aging anyway. I’m pretty sure he can still do the Beetlejuice voice, very well. The 1988, “Beetlejuice” film, was awesome.

The question is, will Winona Ryder and Alec Baldwin come back? A cameo would be okay for them, but leading roles no.

Report: Tony Iommi speaks on website since cancer announcement…

Today on Friday the 13th, Tony Iommi wrote a little message on his website, thanking the fans and supporters for their support and well wishes toward his cancer announcement, that Black Sabbath made earlier this week.

Even if Tony is sick, he is letting the world know that he is in good spirits and he is still recording the new Black Sabbath album, with the original members. He says the recording is going well, and they vow to finish the rest of it.

Read his message, here.

He still didn’t say anything about the tour. What will happen with the full Black Sabbath world tour they had planned? I have a feeling they might have to cancel out of that. They might just play one gig.

If they do end up cancelling the tour completely, that will be understandable. This is such a bummer though. I’m sure the rest of the guys in Black Sabbath are heartbroken too. Life isn’t fair.

On top of that, you don’t really need to be ripped to be healthy anyways!!!

A lot of people mistakenly think that you need to have a ripped physique when you hit the gym. Everyone expects to have a ripped physique. Not really!!! You don’t need to. Even if you don’t have a ripped physique, keep at it. You don’t need to have a perfect muscular physique. It would be nice, but it’ll take a while to get there like I always say. You shouldn’t feel guilty if you haven’t got a successful ripped physique yet, you should just be happy that you changed your lifestyle.

I mean, before I started fitness, I used to be addicted to junk food. Yes, I was on a junk food diet. Eating sugary breakfast foods like cereals, a lot of fast food, I drank a lot of soda, junky snacks at night, etc. I look at myself and said, “I need to stop this, and get more healthier!” So I grew up and totally changed my lifestyle. For the past 4 years, I’ve been eating clean most of the time and working out hard.

Fitness will help make you look healthy on the outside and the inside. The inside will certainly make your doctors happy.  Exercise and clean eating will help lower your cholesterol and high blood pressure. It’ll also help you prevent diseases like type 2 diabetes and all that stuff. Plus, fitness will help not make you sick a lot.

Living your life on a bad nutrition is bad for your health ’cause it’s bound for an early death. Fitness will also help make you a stronger heart, doing a lot of cardio stuff. So don’t be so obsessed with wanting a muscular body so badly and just enjoy life being healthy, that’s it.

I found out that I lost two pounds today just by doing the fitness & clean nutrition and my doctor said that I’m at the point where I am pretty lean. So I feel good. I’m trying to lose fat and gain muscle at the same time, and I’m on the right track!!! My goal is being achieved pretty nicely.

Actually, I got some pretty good pecs going right now…

I think I improved the chest muscles a little bit already, they could be a little bigger, yes, but it takes time to get a huge chest. I’m just proud of what I have now. The one thing you don’t want to do is listen to all those critics out there. Sometimes the critics just make stuff up just to try and make you feel bad, out of jealousy.

I’ll post new progress pics tomorrow. The Ipad seems to take better photos than the regular digital camera. I got a decent bodybuilder chest going right now. I’ll post the pics to prove it. It is getting results.

Thought: Did Van Halen remake one of their older songs for “Tattoo”???

Van Halen is in the middle of some controversy over their new single they just released, “Tattoo”. A lot of their fans are pointing out that it’s a complete remake of one of their songs from the 70’s with DLR on vocals. Fans point out that “Tattoo”, is a complete redo of one of their older songs titled, “Down In Flames”, in which the band was originally going to release for the album, “Van Halen II”. It’s an unreleased track from the, “Van Halen II”, recording sessions that didn’t make the album.

I totally agree that the song is a complete remake. Both songs have the same guitar riffs and similar solos, but of course, DLR’s lyrics & singing is different in both songs.

A lot of people are acting like what the band did here is a bad thing. The band is being accused of having no talent and no new ideas for songwriting, so they remake their older stuff.

In defense for the band, I’m sure this wasn’t the first time they did this. I’m sure they re-did plenty of their other songs they had in the past. Bands DO IT ALL THE TIME. Even I do it with my own music.

Bands just throw songs away, then years later, they go back to it, re-write it, to try and make the song better.

Van Halen lost the public’s respect because basically, Michael Anthony is no longer in the band and he’s playing with Chickenfoot now. Michael Anthony is most famous for his catchy backup vocals with Van Halen, that he’s known for. People are used to hearing Van Halen songs with Michael Anthony doing the backup vocals. That’s pretty much the only reason Van Halen is having a hard time being accepted today. If Michael Anthony was back in the band, I’m sure everyone would love Van Halen again. I agree that Michael Anthony is a talented bass player, and singer but he moved on from Van Halen and the band moved on from him. It’s time to try and challenge people with a new lineup.

As for the “Tattoo” song itself, I actually kinda like it. They still have the 80’s pop feeling they always had. It’s a feel good, party song. Some people say it’s terrible, but they say that to all the legendary bands that want to continue to make music to this day. All legendary bands get so much hate and disrespect.

The fact is, that Van Halen is still staying true to their sound and style. The same sound they always had. Van Halen has always been one of those bands that you either love or hate, it’s been going on for years. The band have been putting up with mixed opinions ever since they started.

People are whacked when it comes to music. Everyone wanted DLR to come back to VH, the fans got what they wanted and now they’re mad ’cause VH remade one of their older songs. Don’t be surprised if they did the same thing with the rest of the songs for the rest of the album.

Bands just do what they want to do. That’s all there is to it.

Even the F.B.I. investigated the song, but finally concluded that they could find nothing wrong.

– In 1992: Nirvana appeared on NBC-TV’s Saturday Night Live performing two songs, ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ and ‘Territorial Pissings’. Also on this day the group’s ‘Nevermind’ went to No.1 on the US album chart.

Will Manny Pac accept Floyd’s challenge???

Floyd Mayweather Jr. jail sentence is not ’til June, but he is scheduled for an HBO ppv fight on May 5th, yet, he has no opponent. Today on twitter, Floyd is calling out Manny Pac. This is a fight that everyone wants to see, I want to see it myself, and I will watch it on PPV if the fight happens.

See Floyd’s tweet, here.

Pacman still haven’t responded yet, but hopefully we’ll hear from him soon. Just one thing to keep in mind though guys, that just because Floyd and Pacman are iconic fighters, doesn’t mean it will be a good fight. It could be a boring as hell fight and it could suck. Maybe Floyd will even win again.

Floyd is off to jail for domestic violence, beating up his girlfriend. Floyd needs to be taught a good lesson and maybe Manny will teach him a good one, to never hit a woman ever again. I’d love to see Manny put Floyd’s undefeated streak to an end, but it’s tough to tell if he can do it.

I’m tired of Floyd’s undefeated streak like everyone else. I don’t watch boxing anymore, but the only fight I watched was Floyd’s fight against, Shane Mosley. I hope Floyd vs. Manny Pac happens too. If Manny refuses to fight Floyd, not sure why he would. I’m sure Floyd would call him a coward and all that if he refuses, though.

This fight will definitely help HBO PPV get a lot of buy rates for sure. Boxing needs to get popular again. I think Boxing lost it’s popularity ’cause UFC overshadowed the sport, big time.
