Cool Photo: Adele confirms she’s singing the title theme for “Skyfall” by tweeting this photo…

Adele tweeted this photo of herself in the studio, recording the opening title theme song for the next 007 flick, “Skyfall”. The pic doesn’t actually show her, but all it shows is just her fingers and what it looks like sheet music/lyrics for the theme song? See the pic, here.

Anyway, I’m looking forward to seeing, “Skyfall”. Hopefully it’ll be a good movie ’cause the last two 007 Daniel Craig flicks haven’t been that great to be honest with you. I hope the next one will be an improvement.

Report: Gina Carano, joins the first ever all female “Expendables” like action film…

It was only a matter of time that Hollywood is going to start stealing ideas from Stallone’s, “The Expendables”, movies. Private Defense Contractors, a film company, is planning to set up an all female version of “The Expendables”, and the gorgeous MMA fighter turned actress, Gina Carano, is on board to star in the film. The film plans on hiring several more iconic actresses in action movies, to fit the similar idea of “The Expendables”.

More on the story, here.

Sounds like a nice idea! Who else do I think should be added to the cast? I would say: Kate Beckinsale, Milla Jovovich, Michelle Rodrigues, Carrie Ann Moss, Charlize Theron, and Michelle Yeoh, maybe?

On top of this, Gina Carano, herself should have been casted for the “The Expendables” film itself.

Cool Photo: Your first official photo of “The Wolverine”!!!

Pretty cool photo of Hugh Jackman as, “The Wolverine”, see it, here. Many would accuse that photo of being photoshopped and airbrush, of course, it was, but I’m sure Hugh Jackman is jacked in real life, though. They just make him look ripped like that for the movies. Hope this film will be better than the crap, “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”.

Report: Sylvester Stallone will finally bring “Hunter”, to the big screen…

Sly Stallone have owned the rights, to the James Byron Huggins novel, “Hunter”, for many years, but has never done anything with the film yet. He came close to making “Hunter” into Rambo 5, but changed his mind about the Rambo story, and now he’s going to make “Hunter” adapted from the novel instead. It looks like Sly will write, direct and star. He’s writing the script now and Lionsgate is looking to green light it. It’s a story about a man named, Nathaniel Hunter (Sly will play this character, I bet), who is out to hunt down a beast in the Arctic Circle.

More on the story, here.

This makes me want to read the book before the movie. I’ll download it from Ibooks sometime. Sounds like it’s going to be an action and sci fi adventure. Glad he’s finally getting this in the works.

Cool Video: Clint Eastwood talks to EXTRA about a variety of topics… his new film, the RNC empty chair speech, and will he do “Expendables 3”???

Clint Eastwood did a cool interview with Extra and talked about a variety of topics. He talked about his new film that he’s starring in and not directing, “Trouble With the Curve”. His RNC empty chair speech, and he responded whether or not if he will have a role in “Expendables 3”.

As for the RNC speech, Clint doesn’t seem to be ashamed of it, and he seems proud of it. Plus, it wasn’t the first time he talked to invisible people, he said he stole the idea from a funeral speech he did.

On whether or not he will do “Expendables 3”, Clint says he never got around to seeing the first one yet and he hasn’t read a script of the 3rd one. Keep in mind that Eastwood has always been picky and choosy with scripts. He’ll do a project if he likes the script. Would Clint consider doing “EXP3”? He jokingly said he would do it if he directed it. If Clint directed the next “EXP” movie, do you think he has what it takes to direct an action movie? I think he does. He directed action movies before with films like “The Gauntlet”, “Sudden Impact” (a Dirty Harry film), and “Bloodwork”, they were action movies. “Gran Torino” was sort of like an action movie too. I don’t think Clint will do “EXP3” but it will be cool if he gets a cameo at least.

Enjoy the video interview with Clint, here.

“Project X”… brief review…

Last night, I watched the movie, “Project X”, a Netflix DVD rental. I never saw this one in theater ’cause I was skeptical of it at first, so I waited for DVD. After I watched it last night, to my surprise, it turned out to be a great comedy. I liked it a lot. The film was pretty entertaining and enjoyable all the way through.

It tells the story of three high school guys who are seniors, and one of them named Costa, wants to throw a huge birthday party for his best friend, Thomas. Costa, Thomas and JB get together to throw this party at Thomas house. It’s not just an ordinary party that these guys are planning. They want it to be a wild dance party with hot girls all over the place, hoping for the three of them to get laid. The party started going off good at first, but things got way out of control as the film went along.

This is a found footage movie. Another one of those hand held video camera films. I was also surprised on how realistic this movie really was. I’m sure we’ve all had similar experiences in our high school years. Going to wild house parties, with alcohol and hot women all over the place. I’ve had similar experiences. Yes, I used to be a hard partier when I was younger, believe it or not. I don’t do that stuff anymore, though. I grew out of the partying lifestyle. In the past, I used to get into partying ’cause other family members and friends from school, got me into it. I didn’t party all the time back in the day, just occasionally. Why did I get into partying back in the old days? I just wanted to see what the partying crowd was like. I also wanted to become a little more sociable and meet people. Hoping to meet more friends and stuff. That’s why I got into it a little bit. I don’t party anymore though ’cause I don’t drink anymore, and don’t enjoy being around too many drunk people. I also find partying, stupid and boring now. I still do party and have fun once in a blue moon, don’t get me wrong, but when I do want to have fun, it’ll be at a local band show or at special occasions like weddings and stuff. I still like to party but I won’t drink at them. I just don’t like being part of the alcohol crowd anymore ’cause those people can be too whacked for my taste. It’s why I don’t go to the bar scene much.

Back to “Project X” it was interesting movie and funny. T-Rick was the villain of that movie and he was a funny character, so was the Angry Little Person. This film was definitely better than, “Superbad”. I might get my own copy of “Project X”. Thinking about getting it on Blu Ray sometime down the road. Thumbs up for this flick, definitely check it out.

Cool Video: Even I got a little teary eyed watching the “Lincoln” trailer!!!

As soon as I saw this trailer, Spielberg is going to sweep the Oscars with this movie for sure. Daniel Day-Lewis’s performance alone is what this movie is worth seeing for. Can’t wait to see this film, stoked for it. Finally, after all these silly action flicks full of CGI and crap horror films we’ve been getting, we finally get a serious movie! I’m definitely seeing this movie when it comes out.

Enjoy.

Cool Video: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D trailer cuts it’s way online!

Well, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D trailer is here. Keep in mind that this is supposed to be a sequel to the 1974 orignal directed by Tobe Hooper. Which to me, doesn’t make a bit of sense ’cause there was already a Texas Chainsaw sequel that was directed by Tobe Hooper once again in 1986. Pretty weird why they are doing this, but whatever, it’s Hollywood.

Texas Chainsaw 3D looks okay, I might check it out. I’m a huge fan of the Leatherface character, these are great movies. I even liked the 2003 remake directed by Marcus Nispel.

Back to Texas Chainsaw 3D, I know some people are going to accuse this film of being a typical slasher film, but from the looks of the trailer, looks like it’s going to keep the same formula of the first film. The first film wasn’t a slasher and gore film, I think this film will be the same style. Reading some of the comments in that youtube, people are wondering why the girl at the cemetery would crawl into a casket to hide from Leatherface. Keep in mind, that this is just a “teaser”, they didn’t show the whole scene.

From what it looks like in the trailer, she’s hiding behind gravestone to gravestone. Moving to one gravestone to another quietly to hide from Leatherface, ’cause I’m sure he’s slowly looking around for her, and if she makes a single sound or gets in his sight, she’ll be a dead woman immediately. So crawling into an empty casket would be the best thing for her. I’m sure Leatherface didn’t see her crawling into the casket, he sawed through the casket anyway to make sure that’s where she was hiding. Again it’s a teaser, they didn’t show the whole thing. We’ll have to see the film ourselves as to how Leatherface caught her in the casket. Maybe he can smell her or something, I don’t know.

A lot of people are saying Leatherface doesn’t need to be a franchise, but what do you expect in the horror genre of film? Leatherface is a cool character and deserves to be entertained to fans for years to come. I’ll probably end up seeing this film. I’m a big horror fan.
