Full “Expendables 3” trailer finally drops today!!!

Earlier today, the full trailer for “Expendables 3” is finally out! It looks like a badass flick and looks better than the first two. Sly and Wesley Snipes finally back together. Harrison Ford and Mel Gibson in the same movie together? You see former Cheers/Frasier star Kelsey Grammer and Arnold Schwarzenegger makes a return.

Just the other day, I just had the official “Expendables 3” twitter account follow me which was awesome. They probably did it just to help market the movie but I’ll take it. I’m a huge fan of Sly and the Expendables franchise. This is one film that I look forward to all year long. Why do we have to wait until August to see it? I wanna see it now dammit!

The 15 Best Dads in the Movies…

Welp. It’s Father’s Day today and I figure it would be kind of fun to do a top 15 Best Dads in the movies. You know fictional characters who were fathers in films.

Here’s a top ten in no particular order:

Clark Griswold:

(I am a huge fan of Clark Griswold movies like most… who doesn’t like Clark Griswold??? Chevy Chase is the shit in this role!!!)

Darth Vader:

(When you do a Best Dads movie list, you have to include Darth Vader. One of the greatest villains of all time for sure!)

Michael Sullivan “Road to Perdition”:

(One of my favorite Tom Hanks movies and one of the best mobster movies ever made too. This movie is pretty violent and gruesome. It can get pretty intense and has a shocking ending too!)

Rocky Balboa:

(Had to include Rocky on here. I grew up watching all of the Rocky films.)

Roy Neary “Close Encounters”:

(One of Spielberg’s greatest flicks. About a man who becomes obsessed with UFO’s and aliens obviously. Roy Neary is one of my favorite movie characters.)

George McFly “Back To The Future”:

(“Hey you, get your damn hands off of her”…. Crispin Glover was the shit in this role! This film always a classic!”)

Don Vito Corleone “The Godfather”:

(Another one of my favorite Mobster movies and Marlon Brando was amazing in that role too!)

Jor-El “Superman: The Movie” and “Man of Steel”:

(A two way tie. Both Jor-El’s were really good. Marlon Brando’s portrayal on Jor El was great but Russell did a great job too!)

Bryan Mills “Taken”:

(“I will find you and I will kill you…” the first “Taken” film was awesome. Didn’t care much for the sequel, though.)

Robert Wakefield “Traffic”:

(A film by director Steven Soderbergh about the war on drugs. This is one of Michael Douglas’s best roles too! “Traffic” is one of my favorite films. One I could never get tired of watching…)

Gerry Lane “World War Z”:

(This film “World War Z” got a lot of mixed reviews but I loved it. I thought Brad Pitt was great in a zombie film!”)

Tom Stall “A History of Violence”:

(A great action thriller about a father and family man who foils a robbery at his diner and tries to save his family from criminals. This film is also one of my favorites…)

Jack Ryan “Patriot Games”:

(This character counts for this film ’cause Jack Ryan is a father in this film trying to rescue his kidnapped family. “Patriot Games” is another one of my favorite films. Love the book too!)

Darrell Curtis “The Outsiders”:

(Played by the late and great, Patrick Swayze. Love this film too much. Will never get tired of this one.)

Professor Henry Jones “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade”:

(Sean Connery was really great in that role. I love, “The Last Crusade”. Wasn’t the best Indy film but “The Last Crusade” was very enjoyable and fun, though!)

That’s it! Enjoy the list and Happy Father’s day!

Is old age finally getting to Harrison??? I’d say yes…

It was kind of predictable that Harrison Ford is gonna get himself hurt somehow in the upcoming Star Wars films being that he is 71 and all. Even if it wasn’t an action stunt, he still got injured anyway! Well, I guess we can definitely confirm that Harrison and Chewie will be flying the Millennium Falcon once more time ’cause that’s what Harrison just got injured on. He got hurt by the opening of the door of the Millennium Falcon. If you’ve seen the original trilogy, you would know how the Falcon’s door opens. It opens from underdeath. I am thinking that Harrison tried to get on the Falcon as the door was coming down and it hit his ankle.

The injury doesn’t sound that serious so he would probably have to take a few days off of filming to heal up.

I think this is a sign of old age. He haven’t been on a Star Wars set in many many years so he probably wasn’t used to the Falcon.

I think there’s nothing to worry about, though. He’ll be back for more filming and I hope he’ll be more careful next time.

JJ is just joking about leaked photos…

When JJ released this photo calling out the spies leaking the photos to the internet of “Star Wars Episode VII”, I think JJ is just being sarcastic and joking a bit in his little rant there. I mean look at where he taped that note on??? That large piece of metal with the red lights on it. Don’t you think maybe that’s part of the Millennium Falcon??? I think this message is just one of his cryptic teasers. Just one of his weird secrecy stuff, if ya know what I mean.

I know he can’t do anything about leaked photos ’cause that the way the internet and technology is, these days. People are gonna keep leaking photos.

I’m sure we’re gonna see leaked photos of Harrison, Mark, Carrie, Lupita and Gwendoline on set real soon.

Another “Star Wars” standalone is happening and Josh Trank is set to direct…

It’s pretty obvious that the two Star Wars standalone films are gonna be for the Han Solo and Boba Fett spin off films, the question is which director is getting which character? We’ll find out soon. “Chronicle” director, Josh Trank has been signed to direct the second Star Wars stand alone film.

I know a lot of fans are complaining that Disney should slow down but Disney did say last year that there will be a new Star Wars trilogy continuing after “Return of the Jedi” and there will be a few standalone films so fans should have expected this. I’m betting your money that these two standalone films are for the Han Solo and Boba Fett spinoffs. That’s what these are probably for.

When is the Benghazi big screen movie coming???

So when is Hollywood planning to make the fictional big screen movie about the Benghazi attack? You know how when Katherine Bigelow made “Zero Dark Thirty” that was based on the Bin Laden raid and “Cpt. Phillips” by Paul Greengrass? I’m sure Hollywood is planning a big screen fictional movie about Benghazi but they are waiting for a closure, I bet. Can you see the Benghazi 4: Chris Stevens, Tyrone, Glen and Sean being played by big name Hollywood actors? I can. I can see it being made into a violent action movie ’cause an attack like that seems like it came out of an action movie. It’ll also be made into a serious Oscar award winning drama.

It’ll get made into a big screen movie, I’m sure. It’s only a matter of time. When Hollywood does one; however, I hope nobody in the administration will have anything to do with it ’cause the film will not be accurate and will be full of lies.

I’m sure the Benghazi big screen film will happen in the future. When they do, I hope they’ll be accurate with the real story and not try to make Barack and Hillary look good.

Look like Han and Chewy will be flying Millennium Falcon one more time!!!

I hate TMZ like the next person but I thought this would be worth posting. TMZ exclusively reveals which looks like a photo of the construction of the Millennium Falcon for “Star Wars Episode 7” at Pinewood Studios. Look like we are gonna see Han and Chewy back in action again!

I wonder if we’re gonna see the return of Tie Fighters and other Empire war ships. We’re definitely gonna see some epic space battles in “Episode VII” for sure!

“Star Wars Episode VII” officially adds Lupita Nyong’o and Gwendoline Christie joins…

JJ Abrams, “Star Wars 7” adds two more to the cast. It is no surprise that “12 Years A Slave” star Lupita Nyong’o was gonna get added because she has been rumored for a long time now and it’s finally official that she’s definitely in! “Game of Thrones” star Gwendoline Christie who is known for her role as Brienne Maid of Tarth have also been added to “Star Wars 7”.

As you can see, the roles of the new cast are being kept secret for now but we’ll learn more later.

I am assuming though, that Lupita is gonna be the main female lead and she will probably steal the show. JJ is well known for creating interesting female characters and he’ll probably do that with Lupita. Is she gonna be a Jedi being mentored by Luke Skywalker? Wouldn’t surprise me if she’ll be the one with the light saber fighting Adam Driver’s villain character.
