Going back to the year 2000, Metallica sued Napster for copyright infringement, due to their song, “I Disappear”, being leaked onto the service before the “Mission Impossible III”, soundtrack release. They found the song in the Napster peer-to-peer file sharing network, and they sued the company for copyright infringement.
Now that Sean Parker, owns Spotify, Metallica finally decided to play it cool and have a change of heart with online streaming services. Now you can stream, all Metallica albums in Spotify.

While Metallica is the most hated band in America, they do have “good” in them. Now that they dropped Warner Music, and have their own label, they’re already on the move to their new adventure as you can see. With your own label, you can do what you please with your music, and that’s where these guys come from. No control by other labels. They’re on their own now.

I stayed up to watch the Led Zeppelin interview on Letterman, and it was pretty funny and humorous. The guys in Led Zep have a good sense of humor. Of course, Robert and Jimmy did the most talking, though. Jonesy stayed quiet throughout most of the interview, although, he did crack a few jokes. They talked about the stuff that I predicted the other day with the interview. Just the Kennedy Center award, the career of Led Zeppelin, and the Celebration Day release. David Letterman, didn’t ask the band any upcoming reunion questions, which is weird. Letterman must have been told by the band that he couldn’t ask upcoming reunion questions. Which is understandable, the boys in Led Zep must be getting sick of the reunion questions, already! It was still a great interview, though. The dudes in Led Zep, seem like they’re very good guys.
Led Zeppelin has more interviews coming up, as they will be on Charlie Rose soon which I don’t know the date they’re gonna be on yet, and I just found out this morning that Led Zep will have an interview for the next Guitar World magazine, as they will be on the cover for the next one.
With all this hype of the Celebration Day release and Led Zep refusing to talk upcoming reunions, it’s giving me this feeling inside that another reunion might actually happen after all, and I’m sure it’s giving other fans this feeling too. Maybe the band is just waiting for the right time to announce it?

Edit to add: Here’s the video of the interview from last night, to those who missed it.
While I hate President Obama, this is a great thing he’s doing for a change. Honoring, a band who created American history, and inspired so many lives in this country. Especially mine. Led Zeppelin is the reason I play guitar. See? Even Obama himself is wondering if the 02, 2007 performance will be their last gig ever. Obama said, “The last time the band performed together was in 2007, perhaps, the last time ever but we don’t know”. How about that? I’m being positive on Obama for once!

President Obama will host the Kennedy Center honors show at the White House, which happened today, but will be aired on TV, Dec. 26th. Be sure to mark your calendars for that one. See the full article, here.
One thing that got me scratching my head, is what Robert said here,
Plant told The Associated Press he plans to continue traveling the world and wants to make new music along the way.
“If anybody wants to write some new songs, I’m game to write songs,” he said.
Did Robert just hint that he may write new songs with Led Zep?
Maybe he wasn’t referring to that, but it certainly seems like it. I’m sure that got other fans scratching their heads too. They may not go on a full tour, but that’s still not stopping them for making a new record. We’ll wait to see what they say on Letterman tomorrow night.

In a radio interview, Jason Bonham, the man himself explains the real reason Robert Plant, doesn’t want any part of the Led Zeppelin reunion, even though the other guys were willing. It wasn’t because Robert was busy with other projects. It is because Robert is doing this for John’s, honor. The reason Led Zeppelin broke up in the past, ’cause they felt they couldn’t go on without, John. Robert could probably go on a tour with Zeppelin if he wanted to easily, but Robert just doesn’t feel comfortable without John being around. Jason admits in this interview, that he wasn’t supposed to reveal this. He’d probably get in trouble for it.
Read this article and see the video interview with Jason himself, here.
If you think about it, there would no Led Zeppelin without John Bonham, ’cause he is Led Zeppelin. So maybe Robert is doing the right thing. Robert seems to be the only one in the band, who is still grieving for John.
They probably won’t perform on Letterman tomorrow night, but the interview will still be good. If they do end up performing after all, that would be cool too!

The reason Led Zeppelin is appearing on Letterman this Monday night, is not only to help plug in the “Celebration Day” BluRay/DVD/CD release, it is also because Letterman is being honored at the Kennedy Center today too, along with Zeppelin.
We ALL know Letterman is going to ask them about an upcoming tour, and maybe Led Zeppelin will finally squash the tour speculation. Still though, the band could confirm a tour by saying, “Yes, we’re doing it”, out of the blue, just to put out an unexpected surprise. They could be keeping that confirmed tour top secret from us, all along, but I doubt it, though. So don’t get your hopes up. They’re probably gonna deny a tour, again for the 100th time. They’re probably just gonna talk about the Cebebration Day release, the Kennedy Center honors, and the career of Led Zeppelin.
Of course, there’s a possibility, they might perform on television too, so keep our fingers crossed on that.
