Report: Bill Paxton wants to do a sequel to “Twister” but make it in 3D…

Actor and film director, Bill Paxton, revealed that he wants to do, “Twister the Sequel” but make it in 3D. He explains that he was inspired for the sequel by the famous Tri-State Tornado of 1925. He wants the next film to be a lot more darker and scarier than the first one, but still  have some humor in it. In order for the sequel to happen, he must get the okay from Steven Spielberg. Since Spielberg was the one in charge of putting the first one together. Spielberg didn’t direct the first one, he was one of the producers.

Paxton didn’t say if he wanted to direct the sequel but he definitely sounds like he’s down with starring the leading role again. I think he wants to direct the sequel himself from the sounds of it in this interview. He should be the one directing it as well.

A “Twister” sequel sounds like a great idea. Make it more action packed with cool special effects and badass sounds effects!

Hope a sequel happens ’cause the first “Twister” is an entertaining film.

BREAKING NEWS: Steven Spielberg pulls out of “Harvey” remake…

First, Spielberg is no longer doing “Old Boy” with Will Smith. Next, Spielberg pulls out of directing the “Harvey” remake after spending about a year putting the project together. He was trying to find the film’s leading star that Jimmy Stewart once played from the original.

Spielberg tried asking Tom Hanks to star in the leading role but Tom wanted no part in it at all. It’s either Tom didn’t like the idea of remaking the film or he isn’t willing to play any of Jimmy Stewart’s characters or a little bit of both. Spielberg’s second choice was Robert Downey Jr., but even Robert knows the project sucks too. Robert begged for re-writes of the script but the studios wouldn’t take his idea. This is what made Spielberg drop out of the project for good.

Not only hollywood studios are sometimes difficult on Spielberg, even the actors can be too.

It’s really quite simple folks, actors and actresses will not agree to star in a film, no matter how iconic of a director he is. The script must be good enough for the cast to agree to it.

I’m tired of Spielberg getting on the sequels and remakes bandwagon. I know he can do something original.

Report: Stephen King and Steven Spielberg to work together again, they will bring us, “Under the Dome” to the small screen!!!

Steven Spielberg and Stephen King, once worked together to bring us, “The Talisman” into a TV min-series, but the project was dropped due to budget costs. King and Dreamworks just greenlighted the rights for, “Under the Dome” to be made into a TV mini-series. “Under the Dome” is a brand new novel by Stephen King that was just released.

Now that JJ Abrams is no longer doing, “The Dark Tower” series into a movie, somehow I get this feeling, that Spielberg might take over.

It’s great to see King and Spielberg working together after all these years. Hopefully they’ll get something on the big screen too, and it should be, “The Dark Tower”. I think Spielberg would make a great, “Dark Tower” movie too.

Report: Steven Spielberg and Will Smith NOT doing “Old Boy”…

Steven Spielberg and Will Smith has both planned to do a film titled, “Old Boy” which was supposed to be adapted from the Japanese manga. Everyone assumed it was going to be a remake from the South Korean film, but Spielberg and Smith said it wasn’t. Spielberg and Smith seemed really excited and psyched to do this film until now.

It appears that Mandate studios didn’t like the idea of the movie. Movie fans hated this idea all over the internet, it seems that Mandate agrees with us movie fans that the idea of this movie just sucks.

You see, the Hollywood officials are even strict on directors who are legends and actors who are icons. They don’t care how big of a star you are. They’re not going to release something that doesn’t catch the public’s attention. So Spielberg and Smith won’t be doing this movie. Thank god.

Smith will indeed star in a Steven Spielberg movie one day, definitely, just not this one. So if you think that huge directors and big movie stars can do any film they want, think again.

Hollywood is a shady business. If a film doesn’t make the money, they won’t do it.

Actress turned film director, Drew Barrymore, celebrated the release of her directorial debut, “Whip It” premiered in Los Angeles. As you can see here, Drew got a surprise visit by a longtime friend, and that is Steven Spielberg. The man responsible for making her famous.

As you all know, Drew Barrymore was born into Hollywood. Drew’s been acting in films ever since she was a little baby. Since she’s been doing films her whole life, this is how she is able to learn how to direct movies on her own. She is finally directing her own films.

Spielberg still has love for Drew as you can see here. He’s a good man to come out to support her film. Glad to see the two together again!

Report: Spielberg finally picks his next directorial movie since “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”…

Steven Spielberg took a break from directing movies since “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” due to working on producing for “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” with Michael Bay. Since then, Spielberg kept booking his next projects to direct, he picked several movies like “Adventures of Tin Tin”, the movie about Abraham Lincoln, Will Smith’s “Old Boy” and “Harvey”. Which one did he pick first as his next directorial project? He decided to do “Harvey” which is based on a play and once adapted into a 1950 film that starred Jimmy Stewart.

“Harvey”, is about a man who has an imaginary friend as a 6 foot tall rabbit. Spielberg hasn’t revealed who he would like to have in the leading role but the top candidate could be Tom Hanks. I also think it could be Tom Cruise as well, since Spielberg worked with Cruise twice already.

Film Review: “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen”…

Directed by: Michael Bay

Starring: Shia Labeouf, Megan Fox, John Turturro, and Tyrese Gibson

So I finally got the chance to see, “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” this afternoon, and here is my review…

Plot/Synopsis: The Fallen is on the hunt for Shia Labeouf’s character, Sam Witwicky so the evil Decepticons can hold Sam prisoner. The Fallen orders Megatron and Starscream to hunt down Sam. Meanwhile, Megatron and Starscream must battle Optimus Prime and the rest of the Autobots in order to get after Sam. The Autobots are out for Sam’s protection and safety. Sam also gets help with his human friends, Agent Simmons (John Turturro) and Mikeala (Megan Fox), and also Leo Spitz, Sam’s college buddy. Does Optimus Prime successfully defeat the Decepticons in order to save Sam’s life? You’ll have to see the movie for yourself in order to see more than meets the eye.

Ok. Lets discuss the good and the bad things about the film.

The Good: Special effects, sounds, cinematography, good camera direction and angles by Michael Bay, great fighting scenes with the robots. More Megan Fox, the Rainn Wilson cameo, and more Optimus Prime!!!

The Bad: Acting of the cast, scriptwriting, movie was too long, the film was a bit too racist with the Twins robots Mudflap and Skids who were at the center of racist slurs, we get to see a naked ass shot of John Turturro instead of a naked ass Megan Fox, too much swearing (yes, we do hear the robots saying “shit” and calling the female characters “bitch”) and too much Shia Labeouf screen time.

The movie was ok, but could have been a lot better. I think Michael Bay and Shia Labeouf are the wrong people to be a part of this movie. Michael Bay isn’t a good director and Shia isn’t a good actor.

I only watch the Transformers movies in theaters ’cause I was a fan of the toys when I was a child. I liked the first “Transformers” movie but the second one was kind of a dissapointment.

Transformers is supposed to be for something that children should enjoy. Yes, it has a PG-13 rating, but the movie had some R-rated material in it. Of course, this kind of stuff never offends me at all, but when it comes to Transformers that kids are supposed to like, I don’t think parents would want to take their kids to the theaters where the film will have racist robots, other robots calling women in the film a “bitch”, and seeing an almost bare naked ass of John Turturro when he pulled his pants down in the film.

Michael Bay needs to quit doing these Tranformers movies and I hope he won’t do the third one which I have a feeling he will. Who do I think that should have been the director of these Transformers movies?

I would say, J.J. Abrams would have done a better job. After what J.J. Abrams did to movies like “Cloverfield” and “Star Trek”, he would have made a much better “Transformers” movie.

Megan Fox is so right that Michael Bay needs to focus on the acting and not special effects, after seeing this crap. It was an ok movie, what I liked most about it was seeing more Optimus Prime and the action scenes of the robots were fun to see.

It’s too bad Shia didn’t injure both hands so he can stop acting for a while, I know bad joke but I think you get the point.

Score for “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” = ** (2 stars as in “ok”)

“Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen”, will see it this weekend…

I will see, “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” this weekend. Review coming soon. This movie is getting mixed reviews. A lot of people love it, and some hate it. Although, this movie is creating some controversy as well, as some critics say it’s very racist.

As a little child, I was a huge Transformers fan. I collected all the action figures and watched the cartoon series pretty religiously.

IMO, Shia Labeouf, is not the right choice of a star for a movie like this. I just like the movies for the fun action scenes, the cool robots and of course, the sexy Megan Fox.

Looking forward to seeing “Revenge of the Fallen” this weekend, hope it won’t suck. Hope I’ll like it.

Report: “Indy 5” confirmed to be moving forward…

Lots of teases and rumours going around for a long time that “Indy 5” is in the works. Talks of an Indy 5 has been going ever since, “Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” hit theater. Producer Frank Marshall, confirmed the news that “Indy 5” is in the works.

It’s no surprise to me ’cause Harrison, George and Steve has been talking about it for a long time.

AICN reports:

As long as they don’t use the Indy passing the torch to Shia idea, I’m all for an Indy 5. Lets hope they make the next Indy more like “Raiders” or “The Last Crusade”, and stay away from the silly popcorn action and make a serious Indy movie for once.

I LOVED “Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”, great film, but I would like the next Indy movie that all Indy fans would love. “Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” is a movie you either love or hate, we need the next Indy film that we ALL could love. SO DON’T FUCK IT UP NEXT TIME GEORGE AND STEVE!!!

Thought: Brock thinks Denzel Washington must get the role of Martin Luther King Jr…

Spielberg’s “Dreamworks” picks up the rights for the Martin Luther King Jr. biopic.

I think MLK JR. should be played by no one other than the great Denzel Washington. With the fantastic acting chops that Denzel has, he could nail the MLK JR. role easily with no problem.

If they get Will Smith or Eddie Murphy, I’m not going to be interested. They need Denzel for this role.

As for who to direct this movie? It probably won’t be Spielberg, but I’m thinking they’ll probably get Spike Lee for this knowing how he did the work for “Malcolm X” which also starred Denzel. How cool would that be? Denzel and Spike Lee re-teaming for “MLK JR” biopic? I’d say bring it on!
