I don’t really care for this year’s “Wrestlemania 28” card. This year is crap. I’m only watching Wrestlemania for three matches that I’m looking forward to. Yes, that’s right, only three. They are: “Undertaker vs. Triple H – Hell In a Cell with Shawn Michaels as special guest referee”, “John Cena Vs. The Rock” and “CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho”. The other matches I’m not really too excited for.
The last couple of Wrestlemania’s haven’t been that great lately. Wrestlemania was only special during the 80’s and early 90’s during the attitude era, but since WWE became way too mainstream and family friendly with the PG rating, professional wrestling is no longer the same anymore. RAW really hasn’t been good anymore. I still watch Wrestlemania every year ’cause I still respect the performers and the business, even if I don’t like their creative direction.
Anyway, on with my predictions of the Wrestlemania 28 card for this Sunday, April 1st:
While I’m sure most of the ppv will suck, I’m sure there will be 1 or 2 really good matches. I’m surprised there are no celebrities being a part of a wrestling match this year, weird. Last year Snooki was a part of Wrestlemania, this year, no celebs. I think I know the reason. The answer is simple ’cause of the Rock. The Rock is not just a wrestler now, he’s a Hollywood movie star and full time celebrity. I guess WWE was afraid that other celebrities being part of matches would get overshadowed by the Rock.
I’m sure there will be celebrity appearances though, celebs has always been a huge part of Wrestlemania for years.

The only reason WWE will not turn John Cena heel (badguy) is ’cause they’re afraid it might hurt the ratings, lose sponsors, and advertisements. Everyone wants Cena to turn into a full fledged heel, even I do. I think a Cena heel turn would be interesting. I think his super hero image is getting old. I don’t understand why the WWE thinks a Cena heel turn would hurt the company. It won’t. If Cena turns into a badguy that would certainly bring in more viewers, and it would get more people interested. It would also help bring the old fans back who stopped watching wrestling. Yep, I think WWE needs a Cena heel turn pretty badly.
They seem to be dropping hints about it, with his feuds against Kane and Zack Ryder. They seem to be hinting that Cena could get a heel turn at this year’s Wrestlemania. Will it happen? I don’t think so. His match against the Rock will probably end with Cena being the hero again.
I have started watching RAW again, to try and keep up with the storylines of Wrestlemania, to see what’s going on. I’m not sure if I will watch Wrestlemania or not. It will probably turn out to be a disappointing Wrestlemania like the last few were. For “Wrestlemania 28” on April 1st, would probably have like 1 or 2 great matches and the rest would be okay.
I’m sure Triple H vs. the Undertaker and Cena vs. The Rock would end up being the best matches.
Professional wrestling is really falling downhill though. I really feel bad. The early days of WWE and WCW were really great. It’s just sad the way wrestling is today. TNA Impact is having problems too. I still respect the wrestlers and performers ’cause they work hard. The early days of wrestling were all about wrestling, now it’s all family entertainment. Sad.
On RAW lately, there’s been mostly promos that were too long. Not much wrestling. When there is wrestling, it doesn’t turn out to be an actual wrestling match, just silly stuff.
I’m probably gonna end up watching “Wrestlemania” ’cause I want to see the HHH/Undertaker and the Rock/Cena match. I still haven’t lost my passion for professional wrestling. I will always love it dearly, I just hate how it is today.
Soon when the Wrestlemania 28 card is completed, I’ll post my predictions.

Brock Lesnar’s sudden retirement from UFC certainly got all the fans talking on what he’s going to do next in his professional career. The question we’re all wondering is, what is he planning to do next?
I can think of 5 possibilities…
That’s all I can think of. Don’t get your hopes up on a WWE return, he could choose to do something else.
Kev
Even though I haven’t been watching RAW for the past several weeks, I had to watch last Monday’s RAW ’cause the Rock was going to appear. I love the Rock. Dwayne Johnson is always awesome, but last Monday’s show was terrible. It was a 3 hour special of RAW. Mick Foley came back that night, who is another hero of mine.
They’re really trying to make everything you see in WWE TV being real, when it isn’t. They’re trying to make all the storylines believable. I just don’t like how they’re ignoring the wrestling part of it and concentrating on the entertainment stuff.
I totally miss the old days of WWE, man. Back in the old days were really great. That’s when WWE was special, the Attitude Era. Now WWE is for kids.
It is why I watch TNA Impact every week now, ’cause they concentrate on the wrestling part of things. I want to see wrestling, not a fucking circus or a soap opera, come on. Even though I don’t like how WWE is going, I’ll always respect the performers. There are still talented performers in the WWE today, it’s just that I don’t like the PG rating like everyone else.
I’ve watched WWE pretty much my entire life and I didn’t think I would ever give up on them. I’ve had it with WWE. Their storylines lately are looking like stuff that you can read from pre-school childrens books. That’s how family friendly they’re getting. Almost feels like you’re watching Sesame Street.
I really miss the old days. At least TNA knows what real wrestling is all about, they’re doing a good job. I”ve been liking TNA more and more as I watch. I’m about to watch TNA Impact, tonight.

The reason that Brock Lesnar returning to WWE rumors started back up again is because of this Undertaker & Lesnar stare down that happened at UFC 121 last year, remember that? Now that Lesnar says there is a definite possibility of him returning to the WWE through the IGN.com interview, now there are talks of who is Lesnar going to feud with when he returns.
Will it be against the Undertaker? Probably, yes.
I would also think that Lesnar would be feuding with who ever has the WWE Title. Brock would want to go for another title run in WWE if he comes back.
Seriously though, in answer to the question on who I would like to see Lesnar feud with in WWE… here is my top 5 list…

IGN.com did an interview with Brock Lesnar since he was included as a playable character for WWE’s “12” video game, and he was asked if he’ll ever return to WWE in the future.
Lesnar said:
“It would have to be under the right circumstances. I don’t know if Mr. McMahon and I could come to the right circumstances. If it was good for me and good for him I think that we could do something. At the end of the day, my life, my character and my profession – I take them very seriously. At the end of the day, if it doesn’t help me or my family out, and it doesn’t make sense for me to do, then I don’t do it. Everything would have to fall in the right place, but would I consider it? Absolutely.”
More on it, here.
I think it could be possible that Brock could make a WWE return in the future too. Just give it time, if Lesnar keeps losing UFC fights and if Dana puts his UFC career to an end, I’m sure he’ll want to return to WWE then.
Vince and Brock may not be in good terms now, but they can always re-negotiate.

Everyone wants John Cena to turn heel but WWE doesn’t want him the wrestler bad guy. Why? Because WWE is afraid they may lose ratings and they don’t want to lose the children who are fans of the wrestler. Plus, WWE is afraid they will lose merchandise sales if they turn him heel.
Honestly, I don’t think WWE should worry about that stuff, because turning Cena heel is exactly what the WWE needs right now. The fans hate him enough. He gets booed heavily at almost every WWE live show. I think it’s a perfect time for the switch. The only fans he has are children anyway. It’s mostly the adult wrestling fans who can’t stand the guy.
Turning Cena heel would make the business a lot better. How? It will certainly get people scratching their heads and tuning into RAW out of curiosity that Cena is the bad guy. I don’t think Cena will lose ratings or merchandise sales either. I mean, when the Nexus group were around, they were considered bad guys but their T-shirt merchandise sales were pretty high. People were buying Nexus shirts even though they were heels. The same will happen with Cena.
With Cena being the heel, instead of having bright colored shirts, hats and wrist bands… Cena would probably make the switch to dark colored hats, shirts, and wrist bands. In order to be heel, I think he’ll need to wear mostly black clothing.
Cena was heel before. He was heel when he first started in WWE way back. I think he is a better actor at being a heel than he is as a babyface superhero.
I can see a heel Cena bullying young children at ringside, saying, “I’m not your hero anymore”. Turning Cena heel would put an interesting twist to his feud against CM Punk and the Rock.
The question is will we ever see Cena turn heel? I certainly hope so someday. Hopefully before Wrestlemania-28, we get a Cena heel turn. I want him to be a heel like everyone else ’cause his modern day Hulk Hogan gimmick is getting old and boring already.
WWE RAW is getting really good again. I’ve been enjoying it lately probably because of CM Punk, he’s a phenomenal performer and one of the bests.

Kevin Eck, who is a popular online blogger for the wrestling community is soon leaving the Baltimore Sun newspaper to join the WWE to be part of their creative writing team for WWE story lines. Kevin got his start as a wrestling journalist when he used to be editor for “WCW Magazine”, when the WCW used to be around back in the day. Kevin then worked for the Baltimore Sun from 1986 until now.
His wrestling blog, in which he talks about everything from WWE to TNA Impact, have created a large following of readers. He would give his opinions and reviews on all WWE and TNA shows. He would even give professional wrestlers in person interviews for video as well. As a wrestling lover myself, I read his blog on a daily basis and he is an entertaining writer. He is an honest guy. He isn’t afraid to tell you what he liked and didn’t like about a certain wrestling show. I believe that’s why WWE gave him the nod. Congrats Kevin.
For a long time now, in his blog, he’s been saying he’s been wanting to turn John Cena heel (badguy) which WWE never did. Now this is a great opportunity for Mr. Eck to make that happen with the writing team of WWE. I hope Mr. Eck does make it happen. Turn John Cena heel with the story lines. Cena being the hero babyface all the time is getting old.
Mr. Eck is done posting at the Baltimore Sun as he will make a move to Stansford, Conn., to work for WWE Headquarters. Congrats Kev, and best of luck in your future. I hope the job goes well with him. Vince McMahon must of been reading his blog after all this time and he probably didn’t even know it!
See his blog, here.

Last night on RAW, it ended with Vince McMahon being fired as WWE CEO/Chairman by the board of directors, announced by Triple H. Last night, Vince came out in the ring to address CM Punk’s winning of the WWE Championship belt from the “Money In the Bank” PPV match he had against John Cena. Well, CM punk won the match and became the new WWE Champion. However, CM Punk left the WWE with the championship belt.
Last year, Dixie Carter who is boss of TNA’s “Impact Wrestling” got fired by the board of directors when Hogan/Bischoff announced it. Then Hogan/Bischoff are now taking over TNA as owners. It seems that WWE is doing the same thing now.
Now that Vince is no longer CEO/Chairman, Triple H is Vince’s replacement.
There’s a lot of people believing all of this is real, because WWE is doing a good job making it seem like it was real with all the “kayfabe” thrown in.
I don’t think Vince McMahon is really fired. It’s a storyline. Vince is owner of WWE in real life and the only way for him to leave is to sell the company. So there’s no way he could be fired. TNA “Impact Wrestling” have been stealing storylines from WWE in the past, so maybe this is WWE’s payback at TNA?
