Mark Hamill is in London while Star Wars Episode VII is filming there. Even though Mark haven’t been confirmed yet for “Star Wars Episode VII”, this is pretty much proof that he has been signed for the role. Hamill maybe older but he still looks like Luke Skywalker. Mark have lost some weight, though, and he’s looking real good.
I don’t talk celebrity gossip on here too much but I’m sure some of you are wondering my thoughts on George Clooney getting engaged to Amal Alamuddin. I read through the comments of facebook, twitter, blogs, forums, etc. of people responding to this news and it’s mostly women responding to it. Some women are congratulating the couple but most women are pretty much pissed off. It’s entertaining as hell to read women’s responses to Clooney’s engagement. Wow! Women really are into gossiping and drama, are they? LOL!
It’s obvious that women think George Clooney is hot and they are pissed off ’cause they know they can’t get into bed with him now. That’s why women are outraged ’cause they can’t get into his pants now that he’s taken. So it’s pretty obvious that women are jealous as hell of this guy.
Now… Clooney’s sudden engagement does raise questions ’cause this is a guy who has said many many times in interviews that he vowed to never get married. That’s why he broke it off with Stacy Keibler ’cause she wanted marriage and marriage wasn’t for him. It’s pretty well-documented that George never wanted to get married and he seemed pretty serious about it.
I think it’s because his new fiance, Amal, talked him into marriage and she won. I’m sure George wasn’t gonna go for it but she probably begged him. That’s the thing with George Clooney. When women have a relationship with him… they all wanna be married to him. Why? Because he’s George Clooney. Rich, famous, and good-looking. Those kind of people can get married to anyone and anytime they want to.
George maybe a phenomenal actor and he’s one of the best out there but in real-life the dude is a bit weird. He is also kind of a douche in real-life too.
I wonder what made Clooney change his view on marriage? I’m sure he’ll speak about it in an interview soon. In his interviews, he has always been honest and realistic about his life so I’m sure he will explain himself. Give it time.
This is another great video by thePlayerSupreme. Probably the best advice on women.
If you’re too lazy to watch this 20 minute long video, what this guy is explaining is that he wants us men to start being “men” and not being little boys (or little females) to get women. He makes some points that he wants us to stop watching his videos, reading dating e-books and other dating guru sites in youtube — he wants us to go out there… grow some balls and just do it.
If you like a woman… if you think she’s hot, beautiful and gorgeous or whatever — it shouldn’t be all that hard to walk up to her and say, “hi”. Start a conversation from there. As I said before, women won’t bite. They are down to earth people and once you start talking to women, they’ll make you feel like you’ve already known her for years so it shouldn’t be that hard to start a conversation with her.
What this guy says in this video… the truth maybe harsh but worth listening to.
Maybe this is why I haven’t had much experience with women over the years in my life ’cause I am admittedly shy over them but then again, I’m working on “conquering” my fear over women and have been growing more confident over them. He explains that “DOING IT” will help make you become more successful with women. I’ve admittedly made tons of mistakes with women over the years and learning from them. I’m just learning that women aren’t all that difficult and they are actually very easy.
I keep thinking that women won’t date me ’cause I don’t have a good job and don’t have a car/license but that’s just an excuse. I also keep thinking that women won’t date me ’cause they won’t find me good looking. That’s just me being insecure and I gotta stop that. Women will pretty much date any guy who has the confidence. If you have the balls to go up to talk to her, she will be impressed and she will probably like you for that. Be confident, treat her like a human being and with respect… she’ll probably date you. Making women feel “safe” is key to getting her to like you back. Make her feel safe and protected, she’ll pretty much do anything with you.
I would think that people in my life would try to hook me up with a woman but I guess it doesn’t work that way. Women won’t fall in your lap. I guess, I’m on my own that I need to get out there and get her myself.
I really do think I have what it takes to hook up with beautiful women. I think I am capable of loving them and making them happy. I just gotta get out there and prove everyone wrong. I know I can do this.
I’m almost 40 and need to settle in with a nice lady before I get any older.
I won’t pick up women from bars/clubs, though. That isn’t really my thing. I don’t really need a woman who is obsessed with drinking.
I wanna see if I can meet women in public places and help grow my confidence even more. I really need to get rid of my shyness. Gotta get worked on.
Greenwich is a small town. Not a lot to do around here but there are beautiful women all over the place even for a small town. When I’m shopping at Hannaford grocery store, I see gorgeous women shopping all over the place. There’s Whipple City Festival coming in June in Greenwich so that’s an idea of a place to meet women. I just gotta find things to do in Greenwich where I can meet women. I gotta find some events and clubs and things like that in town. If I don’t wanna meet women at bars, there are other options. You just gotta think and come up with ideas.
This PlayerSupreme guy makes it seems real easy to get women. It probably is easy. Like I said, I just gotta go out there and “DO IT”. See how easy it really is.
When it comes to Obama’s crimes, everyone wants to blame Bush on EVERYTHING. Whenever Benghazi is brought up, people will blame Bush on the 12 embassies that were attacked under his administration and people will blame Bush on 9/11. People will blame Bush on “Operation: F&F”. People will blame Bush ’cause of the bad economy and it’s not Obama’s fault. People will blame Bush for Obama’s NSA spying since Bush started the Patriot Act. You get the deal here. Seems like nothing is Obama’s fault but everything is Bush’s fault.
When it comes to Obamacare… notice how nobody is blaming that on Bush. I definitely noticed it. I haven’t seen one person blame Bush on Obamacare. I’m sure you haven’t seen it either but if you did, correct me if I’m wrong?
Look… Bush wasn’t the best president but HE WAS BETTER THAN OBAMA. You can’t deny that fact. The left doesn’t want to admit it. You can’t compare Bush and Obama together ’cause both are completely different men. Both had different political views. Yes, Bush had his share of committing war crimes and he too did some unconstitutional things but Bush did love the country and did whatever he could to get our protection and freedom.
At least Bush was a more transparent president than Barack. Bush committed less crimes than Barack. Bush wasn’t as obsessed with dropping drones in other countries. Look at the records for proof…. Bush didn’t do that many drone strikes. Barack did it way more.
That’s another way of how Barack gets away with everything, he likes to use Bush as his shield by blaming everything on him. It’s either Bush, FOX News or that he is black… that’s how Obama protects himself. That’s is how you’re letting Barack getting away with this stuff.
It pisses me off that people wanna blame Bush on everything. If people can’t blame Bush on Obamacare, then that makes him completely innocent and harmless.
Obama is totally different than Bush. Obama is extremely dangerous and violent. Bush wasn’t. Obama wants to do things without congressional authority. Bush never did any of that. Bush was pretty faithful to the Constitution while Barack is not.
Everything Obama does is not Bush’s fault. Everything Obama does is Obama’s fault. Obama knows exactly what he is doing and knows what his goals are. All Obama wants to do is to destroy this country. At least Bush never killed people in “mysterious” accidents. Bush never went after people who disagreed with his politics much like Obama does. Bush believed in Freedom of Speech so he didn’t care whether or not the media attacked his politics.
There was nothing wrong with Bush. Blaming Obama’s actions on Bush is pretty ludicrous. Proves that the left are scared to learn the truth how evil and dangerous Obama really is. It’s real sad that not enough people wanna wake up about Obama.
I’ve been doing some googling on MIDI controllers, the ones that would allow you to hook-up to the Ipad. I think I’m gonna get myself one of those sometime in the future that way I can make my own backing tracks and have band back-up to my songs. I’ll get a MIDI controller with a keyboard on it and stuff. I don’t know anything about playing piano or the keyboards so I’m gonna have to buy a few instructional books to learn. I actually tried to learn how to play piano/keyboards in the past before a little bit, though.
The Ipad is a very handy tool for musicians and that’s one of the main reasons why I wanted an Ipad. Recording music on an Ipad is much more easier and quicker to record on than the PC. Plus, the sound quality is better and more cleaner than the PC.
I would like to get a MIDI controller so I can create all sorts of cool sounds with my music. I’ll be able to sing over orchestration or a brass ensemble and things like that. I’ve always wanted to sing over piano music too.
I’ve always wanted to learn how to play piano/keyboard/synthesizers and think I will soon.
I’m sure you can find a cheap MIDI controller that’ll cost about $100 or less and I’ve already found some. Maybe this Spring/Summer, I’ll order one.
This is pretty much another reason why I’m trying to learn music theory ’cause if you learn music theory… you’ll be able to work with MIDI much easier and you can make your backing tracks sound good and stay in key all the time.
I’ve always been trying to research and investigate the best ways to work with MIDI and I’ve think I’ve finally found the thing.
So I mentioned the word, “phrasing”, when talking about guitar playing. What is it? The way I look at “phrasing” in guitar playing when playing guitar solos is sounding musical. You want to make your lead guitar playing sound like it’s singing a song. When you can get your lead guitar playing to make it sound like it’s singing a song, that’s when you know you’re good at phrasing. Knowing all your techniques like slides, hammer on’s/pull off’s, string bending, vibratos, knowing your scales, finger exercises, etc. All that stuff is great but if you wanna get somewhere in your lead guitar playing, you gotta improve your “phrasing” which is what I’ve been working on.
There are so many guitarists out there who all they wanna do is show their technical skills and play a bunch of fast notes but all they’re doing is just playing a bunch of scales which would sound awful. It’s okay to show off but you don’t wanna over-do it. Less is more in guitar playing. You can still play an amazing guitar solo by just using 4 or 5 notes, that’s it. You just need to know how to “phrase” them and make them sound musical.
Nobody wants to hear fast guitar playing all of the time. They want to hear “music”.
A lot of musicians mistakenly believe that audiences get bored of long ten minute guitar solos. You see, that’s not always true. As long as you’re good at “phrasing” and making your guitar solos sound musical, then people can listen to you play for hours and get their face melted.
If you wanna melt people’s faces with your guitar playing… you have to make your lead guitar playing sound “musical”. I know I’m repeating myself but trying to make a point.
A lot of guitar players overlook, “phrasing”. I’m trying to improve myself on this too. If you want your guitar solo to work, “phrasing” is key.
This is a huge part of why I’m such a huge fan of Joe Satriani. The reason his music is so good ’cause he’s the master at “phrasing”. He can make his lead guitar playing sound so memorable and catchy… you’ll never forget his lead guitar lines. That’s the goal. While I’m a big Satch fan and have a lot of his albums in my music collection, I still think, “Surfing With the Alien” is his best album. Even if you’re not into shred music at all, I’d still recommend you listen to that album. It is a classic shred album and that was the album that helped made the Satch so iconic. I can listen to “Surfing With the Alien” over and over and never get tired of it. It’s one of my favorite records. If you want a perfect example of good “phrasing” in guitar playing listen to that album.
Don’t get me wrong, though, I do like shred and fast notes but you want to play the solo that is right for the song.
I really want to become a great lead guitar player and doing all I can to get there. I just don’t wanna get too ahead of myself and taking my slow time.
I’m tired of being looked at as a rhythm player and songwriter. It’s time for people to know that I can play “guitar” and not just some dude writing songs.
Steven Spielberg haven’t directed a live-action film for children in a long time. He hasn’t directed a kids film since, “The Lost World: Jurassic Park” in 1997. Over the last decade or so, he mostly kept his focus on political/historic films and sci-fi films over the years. In the early 80’s/90’s, he was known for making films for kids and families such as “E.T.”, “Close Encounters”, the Indiana Jones movies, “Hook”, “Jurassic Park”, etc. Look like he’s finally going back to it.
Spielberg is planning to adapt Road Dahl’s “BFG” to the big screen.
I’m really digging Sharon Van Etten’s new song, “Taking Chances”. Can’t stop listening to it. Love the opening bass intro and Sharon’s voice is just haunting — gives me goosebumps. I’m not into that many indie label artists that much but I fuckin’ LOVE Sharon. I think her music is amazing stuff. To hell with Phantogram, Sharon is what it’s all about! She’s the real artist who matters!
Sharon’s got a new album coming out May 27th which I will probably get. Two of my favorite artists has new albums coming out that day. Sharon and Neil Young. Look like I’ll be getting both of those. I’ll buy ’em from Itunes probably.
Everybody knows about the Greg Allman biopic that was supposedly to be in the works titled, “Midnight Rider” but Sarah Jones who was one of the film crew (pictured above) was killed by getting hit by a train while filming. She was just young, 27. William Hurt who was supposed to play Greg in the film pulled out ’cause he did it out of respect for Sarah. Now Greg Allman himself wrote a small letter to the director of the movie urging him NOT to go forward with the movie. Greg didn’t explain why he wanted him to stop making the movie but he’s probably doing it out of respect for Sarah.
Maybe it’s a good idea for the film to not go forward??? Out of respect for Sarah’s family and friends. Shame what happened and it’s tragic for sure. RIP to Sarah.
I like to look at Obama’s facebook page for laughs and the first thing I see is this. Now that all of this Obamacare stuff is all done. I guess, Obama have to find something else just to get his liberal people to go crazy for him even more.
Here’s a little reminder to y’all… coming from somebody who clearly said he wouldn’t promote “same-sex marriage”…
Look at what he’s doing now?
In the past he used to defend traditional marriage all the way but the only reason he flip-flopped on this was so he can win the re-election.
He’s such a lying ego-maniac.
Kev
Edit to add: Posted the wrong video by mistake, I meant to post one of his old debates from the 2008 elections where he defended traditional marriage.
