So, everyone is finally starting to see what kind of man Obama is now, hey???

After years and years of me talking shit about Obama, about how he’s not fitting to be President… I think all of us Americans can finally agree with each other now. It took long enough for America to see what kind of man Obama is but it didn’t take me long at all to figure it out. I hated Obama since the first election before his Presidency. Obama’s approval ratings have dropped way down, social networking sites like facebook/twitter are shitting on him, and even a lot of Dems/left-wingers have turned their backs on him as well. A lot of people voted Obama for both elections ’cause they were hoping for “Change” and equal human rights. Don’t get me wrong, people! I love “Change” and equal rights too even though, I’m republican/conservative but… you have to look at the reality side of things, ya know? If a President does bad things, he does bad things. I’m not gonna ignore it and smile about it. Sure enough, Obama is still gonna have a few loyal supporters but at least most everyone is finally starting to see what kind of man he is.

I tried to bring things to people’s attention of what they missed about Obama and I think I did a good job. People supported him ’cause of Obama’s economic views and marriage equality stuff (which he flip flopped on). People were hoping that the economy would get better but it hasn’t and he gets the Nobel Peace Prize by committing terrorist attacks himself with Benghazi, the drones, etc. You see Americans don’t make this shit up. When a President does bad things, we’re going to bring it to your attention.

I think we can all finally agree that Obama and his whole administration needs to be held accountable.

This is not about being left or right wing. It’s about America. The people! We The People. When we get tyrannical maniacs in the oval office, we’re gonna respond whether you like it or not. If Obama does get the impeachment and removal from office — maybe even possible arrest — that would be big and it would make the history books for sure. Obama’s never gonna step-down and resign but there are ways to get the impeachment hearings rolling. I’m sure the House is trying to make it happen, and I’m sure they’re looking into impeachment but it’s a slow process. It’s difficult ’cause Obama is a good liar and he thinks he can get away with everything.

All Obama wants to do to us is destroy the United States of America and turn it into the United States of Islam (see previous post).

Obama makes Richard Nixon and George W. Bush look like good guys. He’s at that point right now. It’s good to know that America has finally woken up about Obama, though!  It’ll be nice if a resignation or impeachment would happen but he’ll serve his full term and get away with everything.

President Obama’s vision for America is right here… the United States of Islam…

Over the years in my blog, you have seen that I keep saying that President Obama has a vision for the United States of America. He has a vision to change our country in some different way by changing our home into an Islamic country. Back when Obama mistakenly said he visited all “57 States” during the first presidential election, the “57 States” he was referring to is what is seen on this map. He probably knew what he said was a mistake but during that speech, I bet he probably had this map stuck in his head. This map was created by Islamic people as you can see. They want to take over the United States. So this is Obama’s vision for America in 2016 at the end of his 2nd Presidential term. As you can see Obama continues to show that he fully embraces the Muslim religion. People mistakenly see that the Muslim is a peaceful religion — it probably is but they have been responsible for a lot of terrorist attacks over the years (especially 9/11 and the recent London murder attack just recently). Muslims are peaceful people?  PLLLLLLllllllleeeeeaaaassseeeeeeee….

Now it’s getting to point that Obama himself might be a Muslim, and that wouldn’t surprise me if it turns out that he really is. Shouldn’t surprise you either. Muslim Brotherhood already infiltrates the White House and all that stuff. There’s a possibility that Barry Soetero is not his actual birth name and had a different name before it. If you look around youtube you can find older speeches before Obama’s presidency where he admitted to being Muslim.

More clues on how you can tell Obama could be Muslim is all of his abuses of power as President in the oval office. The recent scandals (IRS, spying on Associated Press, James Rosen, using PRISM to spy on Verizon, Facebook, Google, etc.), the drones, Benghazi, Fast and Furious, unconstitutional wars, etc. blah blah blah blah…. you get the deal. The United States of Islam sounds pretty scary, doesn’t it? Doing a little research, it seems that the Muslim people themselves are all for taking over the U.S., as they have made facebook fanpages showing their support for the idea… check it out, here. This seems to be Obama’s mission is helping them out and to help make a better country and living for them. It seems he wants the Muslim people to have a better life. He’s doing whatever he can to make this happen for them.

Instead of making us a better country, and supporting us citizens — he seems to be supporting the Muslim people instead. This is why we really need to get rid of this guy. Hopefully, an impeachment is on the way before he does turn the United States into Islamic America. We need to get rid of him before it’s too late.

Writing poetry…

In facebook, I started talking to other people who is big into poetry. They recommend me a bunch of other poets to read like Robert Frost, Charles Bukowski, E.E. Cummings, Emily Dickinson, Alfred Tennyson, Edgar A. Poe, etc. I have already started reading a lot of their stuff. I already have a few poetry books but not by a single author. I have one full book of Alfred Tennyson poems which I already read, and have two other poetry compilation books.

When I told other poets, that I’m just getting into poetry, I told them I wanted to get into it so I can start writing poems of my own. I read other poets so I can see how they do it; however, other poets gave me the advice that I shouldn’t learn how to write poems by reading others. They told me you can write poems however you want to and start now. There are no rules in writing poems. You can write them however you want and how long as you want to. Every poet out there have their own style.

I can start writing poems today if I want to and probably will. I’ve already read enough poetry; that should give me an idea of how they do it so that’s good enough. You don’t need to learn how to write poetry by reading how to books or learning from other poets. You can start right away.

Poetry is pretty inspiring to me. Poetry is becoming addicting to read. I want to start writing poetry not only to help improve my lyric writing but I want to write poetry as a new way to speak my mind. That’s a huge part of why poets write poems ’cause it’s their way of speaking their mind in a different way. Back in the 1800’s there was no such thing as computers so they couldn’t use blogs to speak their mind with so they use it with poetry instead.

I wish I got into poetry a long time ago. When I was a kid in high school, I was heavily into fiction writing but I gave it up and switched to songwriting. Songwriting is very much like poetry ’cause that’s where lyrics obviously originated from. So if you write lyrics for your songs, you already have been writing poetry.

Ten Good Local Band Behaviors

In the opposite of “Bad Local Band Behaviors” list, I thought it would be fun to take this list to a positive direction and focus on the good stuff. What are the good stuff that bands do to focus on a positive music scene?

Here are the ten best answers that I can come up with:

  • Just playing the music and enjoying yourselves – This is probably the most important. If you’re playing music and not having fun, then why bother? To me playing music is more fun than anything else in the world. You may do other stuff for fun like going to amusement parks, going to the movies, doing some partying and hanging with friends but playing music should be above that stuff. Music should be looked at as a passion in life. Think of music as a marriage. That’s what music is to me. It’s the world to me. Whether listening to it or playing it, music is all I’m about.
  • Act like a true professional – Being friendly and courteous to others. Treating others how you like to be treated is an important thing. Talk to everyone in the music scene. Be kind and respectful to the venues. Be on time at the gigs and even show up early. You get the deal.
  • Socialize with other musicians and network – One trick to getting somewhere with your music is networking in your music scene. Talk to as many musicians as possible and even try to make friends with them. I’m buddies with some musicians around the area. Not naming names. I wouldn’t call them close friends but I do keep in touch with them, all the time. Some people make the mistake that some musicians hate me around here but not really. I have a lot of local musicians in my personal facebook page that I hear from on almost a daily basis. So a lot of musicians around here definitely know who I am. Other musicians around here are actually pretty supportive of me and I’m grateful for that!
  • Keep gigging as much as possible – Gigging is good and pretty important. You’re not gonna get somewhere in your music if you’re just gonna sit around. Recognition and hard work will not fall in your lap. Gotta reach out for this stuff yourself. You’re on your own. I’m planning to get myself back out there, soon.
  • Socialize with fans and supporters who come to your gigs – Be approachable and be talkative to fans when they come see you play. Either before or after the gig. After the gig, a lot of fans will want to come up to talk with you to tell you good job and all that stuff so be prepared for all that. When you finish the gig for the night, stick around a while longer and chat with the fans. It’s even better when you treat ’em as real people, not just music fans, know what I mean? Make friends with ’em, let ’em feel part of the family. I’m always approachable when it comes to my gigs. When I gigged out in the past, I would stick around after my performance and hang out with the few fans who come out. They don’t just say, “Good job, Kev”… we just have real conversations of just about anything. Laugh and joke around. All that stuff. I miss doing all that and wanna be doing that all over again!
  • Don’t worry about those critics and haters – Once again, just ignore ’em. It’s part of how you go forward to a bigger career in music is ignoring all the negative and hateful people!
  • Jam with other musicians – I wanna start doing this at some point. Start playing music with other musicians and jam out. This is why I’m trying to become a better guitar player so I can jam with other people. Trying to get good at timing and staying in the pocket. Trying to get good with improvisation and all that stuff. I wanna play in a band myself someday and slowly trying to get there. One of the secrets on becoming a better musician is jamming with other people. That’ll help you improve greatly. I would like to start.
  • Go to as many open mics as possible – When a lot of bands and solo artists get more successful, they happen to ignore the open mics because they mistakenly believe that playing gigs is bigger than open mics. It’s not. Open mics and playing gigs is pretty much the same thing, in my opinion. Don’t ignore the open mic nights. I love performing open mic nights. It does help get you more exposure and you can network with other musicians that way too.
  • Promote yourself but do it smart & responsibly – Promoting yourself and marketing is the most important thing. If you haven’t gotten much success with your music, chances are, you probably didn’t do enough promoting. If you want a lot of fans, then you need to promote yourself. HARD! I mean hard! Not just the internet ’cause not everyone uses computers. You need to hang up flyers everywhere. Make stickers or business cards or whatever. Start up mailing lists for snail mail and all that stuff.
  • Support other bands & artists other than your own music – Supporting other people’s music other than my own is a pretty good thing to do. Leave your ego at the door and support local music. I use this blog to show my support for other local music and bands. I also go to other local band shows at times too, as you can see. There are too many musicians around here who refuse to support other bands other than their own. If you want to have a good and positive music scene supporting other music is a good way to go. Local bands can put on way better shows than the national bands these days. I’ve been going to mostly EBJ shows these days but I try to go see other bands too.

Well, that’s all I can think of. Enjoy!

Report: Kiefer Sutherland will voice Solid Snake for “Metal Gear Solid 5” video game!!!

This is pretty cool and interesting so this is worth posting! Kiefer has agreed to voice, Solid Snake, for “Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain”. Solid Snake is one of the most iconic characters in video gaming history. While it’s kind of sad that David Hayter won’t be voicing Snake in this game, I can go with Kiefer as the character. I’ve always thought Kiefer reminded me of the Snake character of “Metal Gear Solid”. Kiefer never voiced a video game before, I don’t think — so this is interesting. Really looking forward to this one.

The “Metal Gear Solid” games are pretty sweet. I only played “Metal Gear Solid 4”, I haven’t played the first 3 yet but want to. Even though I haven’t played the earlier Metal Gear Solid games, the Metal Gear Solid – HD Collection is coming out for the PS3, June 12th. I’m definitely gonna be buying that so I’ll play the earlier MGS games then. These games are so fun to play ’cause stealth is fun. Ya know, “stealth”, you have to hide and you can’t get caught.

Cool Video: Watch Rep. Bridenstine call out the Obama administration in this one minute speech…

Rep. Bridenstine is seen here at the House giving a quick speech and going on a little rant about the Obama administrations abusive of power. Some people ask, why is this speech so short? Well, that’s all the Constitution allows in the House. In the House, a Congressman is only allowed to speak for a few minutes while in the Senate you can talk for as long as you want (which is why Senator Rand Paul is allowed to go on that 13 hour filibuster). That’s all you really need to tell the truth is just a couple of minutes or less. Bridenstine did a good job here and he got my respect.

In my facebook page, I’ve been doing my usual rants about how it’s time for an Obama impeachment. I think we can all see that most Republicans/Conservative people are demanding Obama to be impeached but all other registered party members see things differently. They would either see Obama as an innocent man or even though some lefties don’t like Obama either, they would say an Obama impeachment would never happen.

Why does an Obama impeachment have mixed reactions? Because the impeachment doubters like to compare it with past presidents and other politicians. They like to make claims that other presidents has done crimes and did some bad things but they never got impeached, and they think the same will happen to Obama. They think Congress will ignore Obama and let him serve his full term. One thing to keep in mind that “high crimes and misdemeanors” not only means doing something criminal… it really means if you do anything bad politically. Obama has done more than 100 impeachable offenses. Worse than any president in history. He makes past presidents look like darlings.

I don’t know why people think an Obama impeachment will never happen. I think it’s a definite possibility and it was long over-due. I’m predicting it might happen soon. Why? Because a lot of Congressmen and Senators are demanding it to happen. They’re all going after Obama. When an impeachment is considered in the House and if it happens to get passed to the Senate, he’ll be done. An impeach can happen, absolutely. You can’t compare Obama to past presidents as Obama is not Bush, Cheney, Clinton and all those guys. Obama’s power and greed is way above those guys. Even Richard Nixon wouldn’t be able to top him. Obama’s the worst of the worst. He needs to go and it’s time. Not only Obama needs to go down, that includes: Biden, the rest of the administration, Hillary, Susan Rice, etc. What’s even worse that Obama just appointed Susan Rice to be national security adviser. So beware, things will get a lot worse. They could plan more attacks overseas and try to cover themselves up.

It’s insane to me why some people still think he’s innocent or think he’ll never get impeached. You know it’s coming and the sooner, the better it will be for America.

Report: “Friday the 13th” franchise goes back home to Paramount Pictures…

This is really good news for fans of horror movies and the Friday the 13th franchise. The Friday The 13th franchise officially goes back to it’s original home at Paramount Pictures. The last Friday the 13th movie that was made at Paramount was, “Jason Takes Manhattan”.

They also gave up the rights to the South Park movie to Paramount. What is the reason Warner Bros. wanted to give up the rights for both films? It’s all because they wanted to make Christopher Nolan’s upcoming sci movie, “Interstellar”.

No reasons were given on why they gave up Friday and South Park for “Interstellar” but I’m willing to bet it’s about the money. “Interstellar” will be a very expensive movie to make and they wanted to save some money by getting rid of other franchises.

You know how WB’s are. They wouldn’t give up on Nolan for anything. WB’s is pretty loyal to Nolan.

Back to Friday the 13th though, I’m a fan of the series. Saw every single film. I even saw, “Jason Goes to Hell”, “Jason X”, “Freddy Vs. Jason”, and the 2009 re-boot. Yes, of course, I’ve seen all of the original series. They are great films. As for my favorite Friday movies… they would have to be the first two and I liked, “Jason Takes Manhattan” quite a lot. “Freddy Vs. Jason” was even quite enjoyable. I even enjoyed the 2009 re-boot.

Now that the Friday franchise is finally back home at Paramount after all these years, I wonder how they’re gonna handle the next Friday film? They won’t be able to make a sequel to the 2009 Friday the 13th film ’cause Michael Bay owns the rights to that movie and Paramount may not be able to work with him for the next one. Will Paramount continue the movies from the original sequels or will they re-boot the series all over again? We’ll have to wait and see what their plans are.

I’m sure Paramount is happy that they got Jason Voorhees back. I think Paramount is the only company who can make good Friday movies ’cause New Line sucked. I hope the next Friday movie will be much more like the originals.

Why I’m thinking about giving up on professional wrestling for good…

I haven’t been watching WWE RAW. Haven’t been watching RAW for the past 9 or 10 weeks now. Yeah, I take breaks from watching WWE for a long while when they start to get bad again but the company is getting really bad again. The WWE is at their worst right now. Why am I all fed up with WWE and professional wrestling all-around? I even stopped watching TNA wrestling ’cause I refuse to support Hulk Hogan.

The wrestling industry isn’t the same anymore. I miss the old days of Attitude Era of the old WWF and WCW Monday Nitro when they used to be around. They were great days of wrestling! I miss the old days so bad! I can’t stand today’s wrestling. The writing is not getting any better. The wrestling sucks. The card on RAW and the PPV’s are not as good anymore. I’m sick of the WWE shoving John Cena in our faces all the time, I’ve had it. Also matches are too predictable.

I don’t think I’ll ever get back to watching wrestling again. I’m serious about this. Don’t get me wrong, though, I still respect the performers and still LOVE the wrestlers. I just want the good wrestling back like everyone else. It’s sad how the wrestling industry is now. TNA’s Impact Wrestling is even not that good anymore as well. I used to watch TNA but stopped as soon as they signed Hulk Hogan. WWE and TNA are both shit companies right now.

Look, I understand both companies had to change in order to stay in the mainstream. Completely understandable but it would be nice if these companies would give what wrestling fans want to see but they don’t care. All these companies care about is jerking themselves off with money and ratings.

I’ll always be a wrestling fan and will have a passion for professional wrestling but like everyone else, I don’t like how it is right now. Plus, I’m getting too old to be liking this stuff as I’m heading into my 40’s and need to grow out of it. Wrestling should be about wrestling. Not a soap opera or Sesame Street. I like wrestling when it’s dark, intense  and violent. Sometimes WWE can actually be good today as CM Punk is still a great performer and some of the things he does is still worth watching. I just don’t appreciate what wrestling is anymore as I’ve been a fan my whole life. Yes, I’ve been a fan of wrestling ever since I was a child.

Today’s wrestling is not how I want it to be.

Why it’s so hard to make a great Superman movie…

Over the years, film makers struggle to make a great Superman movie. They try so hard to make the perfect Superman movie but they fail every time they make a new one. “Superman: The Movie” and “Superman II” with Christopher Reeve, those two films were perfect. People loved those two films and were happy with them. Both of those films are classic; however, when “Superman III” came out… it got mixed reviews and bombed in the box office. Then “Superman IV: The Quest For Peace”, also starring Chris Reeve got negative reviews all over the place, and that filmed bombed too. Warner Bros. and Cannon Films were going to move on with “Superman V” with Christopher Reeve once again but the filmed never happened. It was speculated that it never happened because “The Quest For Peace” bombed. Cannon Films didn’t have the budget to make it and Chris Reeve was asking too high of a paycheck that he didn’t want to do the film.

Later in the years, Tim Burton and Nicolas Cage was hired by Warner Bros. to make “Superman Lives” together but as they started to work on the film, Warner Bros. fired them and they stopped the project. “Superman Lives” never got made. Now here comes Bryan Singer’s “Superman: Returns” which was a homage to “Superman I and II”, a continuation of those two films, starring Brandon Routh as Superman/Clark Kent. That film was somewhat of a hit; it was successful but still got mixed reviews. Bryan Singer had planned to make a sequel to “Superman Returns”… but I read a little piece that Singer admits that Superman movies are extremely challenging to make and he doesn’t plan to make a new one anytime soon.

So you have to ask, why is it so hard to put Superman to the screen? I wouldn’t blame the writers and the directors for making bad Superman movies. I would blame Superman himself. Superman has always been difficult to tell stories with, and I’m pretty sure the comic book artists has a tough time as well. The same goes for the George Reeves television show.

I can think of a few good reasons why Superman flicks are so hard to make:

  1. Superman was meant to be science fiction stories – Superman is not always about action and being family-friendly. They were meant to be strictly science-fiction stories. Science-fiction stories are pretty hard to write. The same goes for Superman. With all the powers and unique characters. So challenging to make it perfect. It’s hard to tell science-fiction stories with the Superman character.
  2. Superman stories are meant to be told with heart – The Superman character is supposed to be heartfelt. He wants to be a lovable character for everyone. The stories are meant to make people smile and the stories were supposed to be told with emotion. It’s hard to make Superman like that. The reason “III”, “IV: The Quest For Peace” and “Superman: Returns” really didn’t work is because he wasn’t heartfelt enough in those movies.
  3. Superman is just too perfect –  He certainly is much different than other superheroes. Batman was easier to tell good stories with ’cause he is different than Superman. Batman is a human character with no powers while Superman is an invincible guy. It’s hard to tell good stories with all the powers Superman has the flying, heat vision, x-ray vision, super-strength, super-hearing, speed, etc.
  4. It’s hard to make Superman fun – Everyone wants to see Superman in action. That’s what we all expect to see when watching a Superman movie. We want to see him kicking ass and fighting crime but instead we get pulled into bad storytelling. Everyone wants to have fun watching Superman movies and we haven’t had fun watching a Superman movie in a long while. Everyone thought the last couple of Superman movies were boring. Writers feel that the story is more important than action.
  5. It’s hard to create something new & different – I think this is one of the biggest reasons why Superman has a hard time making a good film. It’s hard to make something new and fresh. Every Superman movie that was made in the past was nothing new or original. They seemed like they were rehashing the same old plots and using the same old villains like Lex Luthor. It’s hard to create new stories with Superman ’cause everything has been done in the comics and everything else in the Superman world.

While people still give “III”, “IV”, and “Superman Returns” mixed reviews, I still like those movies for what they were. They were still pretty cool movies even though, I’ll admit that those three films still had some problems.

Will everyone finally be happy with, “Man of Steel”? “Man of Steel” comes out next Friday and we’ll have to wait to see what kind of reception the film will get. I’m hoping the film will get nothing but positive reviews but it wouldn’t surprise me that the film could get mixed reviews as well. I’m pretty sure everybody is gonna like, “Man of Steel”. I’m 100% positive, they did a good job with this one. I’m certainly looking forward to it. If “Man of Steel” is successful and if it’s a smash hit, hopefully they do move on to the sequel.

I’m a big Superman geek. I’m proud of it too. He is the king of all superheroes, you can’t deny that. In celebration of “Man of Steel” coming out next Friday, I’m planning to re-watch the previous 5 Superman movies on BluRay with the box set that I have. I hope people will love, “Man of Steel”, and I think they got it right, this time.

Seriously, who cares about Michael Douglas’s sex life?

Really, why is it that every time Michael Douglas admits to something in his sex life… it blows up all over the internet? First, it was Michael admitting to using viagra in order to keep pleasing Catherine Zeta-Jones and now he’s claiming he somehow got the throat cancer by eating her pussy a bit way too much. I’m sure that’s not what he really meant or he might of been joking around, I don’t know. While I understand that people find this stuff entertaining and funny — people really need to focus on his talent in acting. He’s one of the most talented actors in the movie business. He’s one of my favorites, anyway. He’s been in so many good movies over the years… some of my favorites of his are: “Basic Instinct”, “Wall Street” (first one only), “The American President”, “Black Rain”, “The Game”, “The War of the Roses”, and “Traffic”.

I have not seen the Liberace movie on HBO and have no interest in seeing that movie at all; no offense to homosexuality — those are the type of stuff I would stay away from. Not my thing.

Yeah, it does seem like he’s a sex addict but who cares? A lot of people are. People can do all that stuff all they want to but I’ll admit that sex can be pretty risky especially without protection, admittedly. Michael may be a big time sex addict but he’s faithful to his wife, Catherine, so he does it to one woman only. Catherine Zeta-Jones is a hot woman, though, you can’t deny that at all.

Some of you would probably be wondering about my thoughts on the Michael Douglas thing, well, I thought I would do it now to get it out of the way before someone asks me about my thoughts. He is a wonderful actor and one of the best around. He can play any character that throws at him and he can play every genre well from drama to thrillers to action movies to comedy. I admired his acting and watched his movies for years. He does seem like a good guy off camera, though… even though, I’ve never met him, he seems like a cool guy to talk to.

Kev

Edit to add: Oh man, how can I forget his movie, “Falling Down”? That was a badass movie too! D-Fens was one of his best characters!!
