Report: Chris Jericho in trouble for using gay slur at Horror Film Festival in Sacramento…

First Chris Jericho gets away with beating up female fans after a RAW show in Canada a while back, now the wrestler is getting himself into more trouble. Chris Jericho, the WWE Superstar, attended the Horror Film Festival in Sacramento, California where he had a speech on stage there in front of an audience. Using his usual wrestler heel persona he used gay slurs in hopes of TMZ posting his name all over the website, which that exactly happened. TMZ is now all about Chris Jericho.

http://www.tmz.com/2009/11/05/chris-jericho-wee-racial-slurs-wrestling-statement/

GLAAD does not accept his apology and reported the incident to Vince McMahon, chairman of the WWE.

http://www.tmz.com/2009/11/05/glaad-to-jericho-thanks-for-hollow-apology/

Whose side am I on? Definitely Jericho’s! When Jericho said TMZ would be all over it if he did something controversial, Jericho did it as a joke. He was making a point that if celebrities did something controversial, the media would be all over it, that’s why he brought Paris Hilton’s name into his speech. When he said, “It’s apple juice f*gs, post it all over TMZ, Chris Jericho, Chris Jericho, Chris Jericho…go ahead post it”.

I thought it was pretty funny, it made me laugh. Vince McMahon won’t fire or suspend Chris for this, Vinnie Mac would love it and say that Jericho is doing a good job at being the wrestler badguy like he always is.

I mean, Jericho never lost respect from his fans after the Film Festival because here he is meeting fans after the show.

Dolph Lundgren’s “Command Performance” on DVD/Blu Ray now!!!

Dolph Lundgren’s “Command Performance”, a straight to DVD movie is out on DVD/Blu Ray in stores now. I think I will buy the DVD this week, I’m interested in seeing the film. This movie was released on Nov. 3rd, the same day that Dolph’s birthday is on. So yeah, Dolph has a very good reason to celebrate his birthday about!  That was another reason he appeared on Conan O’ Brien, to help promote this film that was just released on his birthday.

Although this film looks goofy and silly, it looks like a blast to watch with lots of action.

Celebrity stalking is on the rise…meet celebrities responsibly…don’t be a psycho…

Celebrity stalking and celebrity worship is on the rise. Why is this you may ask? I totally blame the internet and the celebrity gossip being posted all over the web. Plus, real people like us have become so obsessed with celebrity news it’s crazy.

I understand that some people like us are big fans of your favorite celebrity and you’re dying to meet them in person, but do it responsibly. Don’t do it the wrong way or you could get yourself in deep shit.

I’ve had a blog post on this in the past before. The best way to meet your idols in person without getting in trouble is to either meet them at autograph sessions or if you run into them out in public somewhere. Just showing up at their home without an invite or showing up while the celeb is working their career, crosses the line. If you cross that line, you’ve ruined your opportunity and the celebrity you worship will want nothing to do with you.

A line of celebrities has become victims of stalkers lately everyone from Ryan Seacrest, Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, Shawn Johnson (Olympic star), Conan O’ Brien, Uma Thurman, etc.

I’m a huge Sly Stallone fan, but I wouldn’t do something stupid like this ’cause I respect a famous person’s privacy and I wouldn’t want to get into trouble. I want to meet Sly Stallone in a good way. I may be a huge fan but I’m not that obsessed with the guy. Sly is always out in public in Hollywood all the time and he always likes meeting fans, signing autographs/posing pics for people out in the streets. That’s the way it should be done. Stalking will just ruin your life.

Thought: Speaking of Dolph Lundgren

After seeing Dolph on Conan O’ Brien last night, briefly, I thought of something. Dolph is obviously most well known for playing Ivan Drago in “Rocky IV” which is why he got on “The Tonight Show” to begin with ’cause he knew the audience would give him a huge crowd reaction. When Dolph showed up on stage, you saw in that video that the crowd loved Dolph.

What I don’t understand is, if everyone still loves Dolph, why does the man continue to have a direct-to-DVD career? When he tries to do a theaterical release movie like “Masters of the Universe”, “Universal Soldier” or “The Punisher”, he fails in the box office at those movies. Dolph hasn’t had a theaterical release movie in a long time.

This is about to change, Dolph fans.

Stallone got Dolph in, “The Expendables”, and that movie is theaterical release WORLDWIDE, not direct to DVD. I’m sure “The Expendables” will be a box office smash and that film will help Dolph become a mainstream star again like he was back in his Rocky IV days.

After “The Expendables”, I’m sure that film will help Dolph’s film directing career big time. He won’t be a straight to DVD king anymore after that film is released.

I kind of feel bad for Dolph that he hasn’t had a good film career, but I still give him the respect that he kept working over the years. Dolph is a talented guy and he deserves a successful career. This will happen for him, after “The Expendables”.

“Batman: Arkham Asylum” full review…

So earlier this evening I finished, “Batman: Arkham Asylum”. As I said before, I was very impressed with the game and still am. I love how the action and the gameplay is kind of difficult and challenging. The game is very challenging ’cause you have to have skills and practice to fight. There’s a few levels where you have to fight against over 20 – 30 thugs (or badguys) all at the same time. You have to use counter to block, evade to jump out if you’re surrounded and do all kinds of fighting moves.

There is also a few levels where you have to hide from armed thugs with machine guns and then slowly plan your attack on them. If you get spotted, the armed thugs will kill you immediately. It’s difficult ’cause you have to pay attention to what you’re doing.

The game is also not really for kids. This game is really aimed for the adults that are Batman fans. Reasons, the game has a lot of dark content. The game is too dark and scary for younger kids to be playing. It has swearing in the game. The characters of Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn both look sexy, they show a lot of cleavage and they have big boobs.

The animated series on TV of Batman are aimed for kids, but the game should have had a “M-17” rating which doesn’t.

Scarecrow is probably the creepiest character in the game, that evil laugh he does, is crazy.

Mark Hamill’s Joker is much scarier than Heath Ledger’s, seriously. Mark does a better job than Heath, in my opinion. If Christopher Nolan did a The Dark Knight 3 film and if he decides to bring Joker back with a different actor to play the character, it should be Mark Hamill.

This is probably one of the best games I’ve played in a long time. Is this game the best of the year? Hmmmm, haven’t decided yet. At the end of December, I will announce what my choice of the game of the year is.

There are still other games coming out this year that I want to get, like “God of War III”, “Bioshock 2”, etc. So many great video games that came out this year. It’s hard to decide.

There’s probably going to be a sequel for this “Batman” video game. When they make one, they should make the next one take place in Gotham city. They should make it so that we can drive Batman in the batmobile. In the next Batman video game, they should have these villains here: The Riddler, Penguin, Mr. Freeze, and Catwoman.

This game “Batman: Arkham Asylum” is amazing and it’s a must buy for all Batman fanatics!

Cool Video: Dolph Lundgren makes surprise appearance on the Tonight Show with Conan O’ Brien…

Last night, on the Conan O’ Brien show, he came up with a pretty good idea that he was going to announce a few celebrity birthdays, and he was going to have one of them appear on the show. Hide a celebrity in a huge box and will reveal who it is later in the show.

Dolph Lundgren appears on the Tonight Show celebrating his birthday with Conan O’ Brien. Dolph hardily ever appears on TV that much and it’s good to see him again. Dolph is still looking good, too. Happy Birthday Dolph!

Brock’s Top 5 superheros…

So you want to talk Superheros in the movies and the comics being so popular in the world of entertainment today. I enjoy superhero movies and comics as well.

Here are 5 of my favorite superheros in no particular order:

  • Superman – A hero I grew up as a fan of ever since I was a child. Still am a Superman fan today. I think Superman tells the best stories and has the best characters.
  • Batman – I found Batman fascinating like everyone else since he is a superhero with no superhuman powers. A human being that fought crime all by himself with these gadgets and a batsuit. I loved the Batman character for many years.
  • Wolverine – I am very big on Wolverine, he’s the best of the X-Men. Used to read Wolverine comics all the time when I was young.
  • The Flash – DC/Warner Bros never made a Flash movie. I wish they would hurry up and make one. There was a live action TV series of the Flash that starred John Wesley Shipp, but the show only last one season.
  • The Punisher – another superhero with no superhuman powers, similar to Batman in a way. I love the story of Frank Castle. I love the first Punisher movie with Thomas Jane.

I like many superheros but those ones top the list.

BREAKING NEWS: Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin will be hosting the 82nd Oscars in 2010…

Well, I guess my Oscar host prediction for 2010 was wrong. Neil Patrick Harris may not be getting the opportunity to host his first Oscar award show yet, but don’t worry Doogie Howser, I’m sure you’ll get your chance.

Funny man, Steve Martin and “30 Rock” star Alec Baldwin are signed on as the hosts of the 82nd Annual Oscar awards in 2010.

Keep in mind that Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin both star in a comedy film together with Meryl Streep, a film titled, “It’s Complicated”. A film about Steve and Alec both having a love relationship with the same woman, and they fight over her.

Variety Reports:

http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118010810.html?categoryid=13&cs=1

To be honest, I’m totally dissapointed with the choice. Who wants to see Steve and Alec making fun of each other throughout the entire award show? *yawn*

Steve Martin is entertaining and funny, don’t get me wrong, I love the guy, but he already hosted twice! Give Doogie Howser a chance, I was rooting for him!

I don’t even like Alec Baldwin, the guy’s a douchebag.
