Recent pics of Sly arriving in Venice, Italy to receive his award, he is being honoured there today. He will also show footage of “The Expendables” and a teaser trailer, plus, I’m sure he will talk more about “Rambo V”.
Look like Sly is letting his hair grow out again to prepare for Rambo. So I definitely think he will get the long hair. Sly is looking like Jack Carter again from the movie, “Get Carter”. Sly is looking incredibly happy and psyched to pick up his award which might happen sometime this afternoon.
This post is a reminder to those that won’t forget this horrible day. It still feels like it happened yesterday. Bin Laden and Al Qaeda are both still alive and out in hiding, nothing’s being done to catch them before they strike again. I think they will strike again, sooner or later, you just never know, it can happen anytime, anywhere. Justice still haven’t been served.
RIP to the victims of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon attacks.

Well, it looks like Courtney Love is not the only one in the music industry upset at Activision with the use of Kurt Cobain for “Guitar Hero 5”. It looks like Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic, the surviving band members of Nirvana, are pretty pissed too.
They aren’t really upset at Kurt Cobain being used for the game, however, they are just pissed that he could be played by other artists by unlocking a secret of the game.
Actor, Jeff Bridges is in talks with the Coen Bros. to star in the remake of “True Grit” western that originally starred, John Wayne. Jeff once worked with the Coen Bros. in the 1998 comedy film, “The Big Lebowski” as the role that everybody knows, The Dude.
Does this mean that John Goodman could have a role in “True Grit” also? We’ll just have to wait and see.
I used to like the Coen Bros. but their last couple of movies has been shit lately. And I have a feeling their, “True Grit” remake would probably be shit too.
Just announced today, the talented country/pop star, Taylor Swift, will release her hit album, “Fearless” with 6 new songs. The expanded “Fearless” will hit stores, Oct. 27th. The expanded new album will also include a free DVD, with music videos of her hit songs and behind the scenes stuff of her videos.
Taylor Swift, received four country music award nominations for the CMA’s this year.
Courtney Love is pissed that Activision put Kurt Cobain in “Guitar Hero 5” and made him look completely different. As you see Kurt Cobain in the picture in this link, he’s much uglier and creepier.
Courtney rants about Guitar Hero franchise on her Twitter page, pretty harsh rants. If you’re brave enough to read that negativity like I can and don’t take it seriously, you’d find it entertaining.
I am kind of losing interest in the Guitar Hero franchise myself. It started out kind of cool…but it is kind of ruining the music industry.
I for one agree with Courtney that Activision didn’t even get Kurt right. If you see Nirvana’s earlier performances of “Smells Like Teen Spirit”, Kurt doesn’t look up to the mic and his hair is almost always covered his face when he plays guitar. Plus, when Kurt played live on stage, he doesn’t stand there like a zombie like Guitar Hero did. Kurt moved around on stage like crazy.
This is the reason it made me not want to get “Guitar Hero 5” and changed my mind about getting the game.
I hope Courtney wins this suit, I’m actually glad she’s doing this. Guitar Hero ruined Kurt, he’s gotta be rolling in his grave.

This is clearly an exciting new direction for the Rambo story and we’ll keep you posted on any developments.”
Well, there you have it, Sly really is doing this Rambo vs. this Beast monster plot. Which is kind of cool and different.
It does get kind of old with Rambo destroying military guys, and for some reason, I can always picture in my head Rambo trying to survive some kind of alien or a monster. It’s seems Rambo is that type of guy and Sly is finally doing it.
It’s time that Rambo must fight something that is way more powerful than him.
Hollywood seems to be giving no love to He-Man. Warner Bros. parted ways with Mattel and dropped out of the new He-Man movie. “Masters of the Universe” that Joel Silver has been working on for a long time.
I think Warner Bros. is worried that the reboot of He-Man is going to fail. They were the same studio that made “Masters of the Universe” 1987 version that starred Dolph Lundgren, which that film bombed and didn’t do well in box office.
I don’t see the project ending for good. The new “Masters of the Universe” will probably get picked up by either Paramount or Twentieth Century Fox. It may as well be Fox.
Not a bad replacement actually. I like Ellen, she’s nice, smart, and funny too. They obviously got her hoping to keep up the ratings. Ellen’s not an annoying loudmouth like Rosie O’ Donnell.
