Report: Zack Snyder signs deal to make three video games with EA…

Zack Snyder who is the director of films such as “300” and the upcoming “Watchmen” (if it gets released and not canned by Fox, that is) has signed a deal to make 3 original video games with Electronic Arts. EA inspired to work with Snyder by the success of “300”, since the film’s audience is mostly young men in their 20’s and 30’s who also buys the most video games, EA thinks that Snyder would make really good video games being that “300” movie is almost video game like.

Remember now, Snyder is signed to do three “original” video games, meaning he won’t be doing sequels of other video games or no video games adapted from movies. Totally original.

Report: Sylvester Stallone in Bulgaria in search of Rambo 5 locations…

Is Sylvester a world traveler or what? He sure is. 🙂

Just after receiving his Golden Icon life achievement award at the Zurich Festival he flew right over to Bulgaria in search of filming locations for the next Rambo installment.

While there, Sly meets the Sofia Mayor Boyko Borisov in person since Mayor Boyko is a huge fan of Sly. In the link below, you can see a photo of Sly in Bulgaria.

I think Rambo 5 is Sly’s next movie. That’s what it’s looking like anyways as the news of Rambo 5 keeps coming. Look like Sly already finished the script for Rambo 5 if he’s already out there looking for filming locations.

No actual confirmation from Sly himself if he’s doing Rambo next but I’m sure he will speak out on something soon.

Report: More set photos of Tim Burton’s “Alice In Wonderland”…

See more set photos of “Alice In Wonderland” being filmed currently with Tim Burton being the helmer. This article also confirms that a pregnant Helena Bonham Carter will have a role in the film as well. Alice will indeed be played by Mia Wasikowska.

No Johnny Depp in these pictures, as he has not yet arrived on set to film his scenes as the Mad Hatter.

Report: Max Payne wins PG-13 rating against the MPAA…

“Max Payne” a live action film adapted from the hit video game was originally rated R by the MPAA, but the film’s director John Moore fought against the MPAA in court to get the rating that he wanted for the film, which is “PG-13”. John Moore successfully won the battle and was awarded the “PG-13” rating.

He is also working on a “Gamer Dedicated Cut” of the film for the die hard fans of the video games.

Thought: Is David Blaine the next David Copperfield or just plain insane?

I’ve been hearing quite a lot about this dude named David Blaine, who is a magician that resides in New York City. He’s been known to do some wild and crazy suicidal things. He’s been known to do stunts like “Buried Alive”, “Frozen in Time”, the “Vertigo” stunt and his most recent that just happened “The Dive of Death” where he hangs upside down in Central Park for 60 hours.

I think he’s no magician, he’s just a guy out for fame and attention. He’ll never be in David Copperfield’s league. Almost anybody can do all the stunts he’s been doing and they aren’t really as hard as they look. This guy is a douche. I’m sick of hearing about him.

BREAKING NEWS: Matilda Rose wins Heath Ledger’s estate…

Heath Ledger’s daughter, Matilda Rose, has been awarded to inherit the late actor’s estate. Heath originally wrote a will to give everything to his parents and his sisters but everyone in Heath’s family gave it all to Matilda Rose instead. There was no legal challenge by Michelle Williams although some has speculated the will was written to her.

The executor of the estate would not reveal how much the estate is really worth although a newspaper estimated it is worth about $16.3 million.

IMO, Heath’s family should have stuck to his wishes that was written on the will.

Sure that little girl’s father is gone, I don’t think Heath would want her growing up with all kinds of people sending her checks, when I assure you that Heath would want her growing up making her own money doing “work” in the real world for her to live a normal life.

Yep, I think they are spoiling her.

BREAKING NEWS: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band confirmed for Superbowl Halftime performance this year…

Last year, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers rocked the Superbowl half time, this year it’s gonna Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band!!! Earlier in the year, it was already reported that Springsteen is in negotiations to perform for this year’s Superbowl, look like the deal is confirmed.

Springsteen and the E Street band just finished a really long tour which is why they are able to do the Superbowl. Other than playing a few songs from the album “Magic”, I expect to hear Springsteen and the E Street Band playing mostly their greatest hits with songs such as “Born in the USA”, “Dancing the Dark”, “Murder Inc.”, “Glory Days”, etc.

Bruce fuckin’ rules. He is probably going to be playing his most popular hits though, I don’t see him playing songs that are not played on the radio. The Superbowl officials would want fans to do dancing and go crazy.

Report: Robert Plant denies reuniting Led Zeppelin full time for tour and new record…

Well, there you have it. I had predicted that Robert Plant himself was going to speak out on the rumours of him re-joining Led Zeppelin full time. The singer released an official statement hoping to squash those rumours for good.

Plant says he is frustrated and annoyed that these rumours won’t seem to stop. He also explains that these musicians, the left over members of Led Zeppelin are committed to doing their new projects and moving forward. Plant wishes Page, Jonesy and Jason the best.

Good, I am actually kind of glad that Led Zeppelin isn’t reuniting full time for a tour and new record.

I want Robert to continue his country project with Allison because it’s really good stuff.

I want Jimmy Page to do other things. Pagey maybe making new music with Jonesy and Jason, and they maybe auditioning new singers, but not under Led Zeppelin, under a different band name. I’m sure we will hear from Pagey soon about this as well.

I’m glad Led Zeppelin came back to us for one last time, and they deserved one last show in a positive note which was at the O2 last year.
