Eminem offends twitter with swear words at his “Concert For Valor” performance…

People who are easily offended at Eminem’s swearing during his performance at “Concert For Valor” in DC last night, probably never heard his music before. I was kind of surprised to see D.C. book Eminem for a family friendly event myself. When you book someone like Eminem and if he’s a rapper, of course, he’s gonna say a lot of cuss words. Eminem swears a lot ’cause that’s part of who he is. That’s part of the rapper lifestyle. That’s the way they all talk. He probably knows this is a family friendly event but he couldn’t help himself.

I’ve been listening to his music for a long time but I don’t listen to him anymore, though. It’s not because of the offensive and controversial material he writes, I actually dig that stuff… it’s just that his songwriting as of late haven’t been grabbing me. I prefer his earlier music.

On the last election, Americans voted all Republican so Congress can hopefully give the smackdown on Obama’s imperial presidency and fight back at his lawlessness. Obama have been president for 6 years now. Obama have done plenty of impeachable offenses, broke plenty of laws over the years and he was never faithful to the Constitution. Nothing have been done to Obama ’cause Democrats refuses to wake up and get a reality check of how Obama is. Republicans know how bad of a guy Obama is but they refuse to challenge impeachment in fear of hurting their careers over racism accusations. Nothing have been done to hold Obama accountable ’cause he has way too many people in Government protecting his ass and the national news media have been protecting his ass too. This is how Obama gets away with everything. He has so many people protecting him, it’s crazy.

We voted all Republican hoping that they would fight back at Obama like they promised but so far the Republicans have been pretty silent. Instead, they seem to be pretty nice with Obama and cooperating with him except if Obama goes ahead with his amnesty plans, the Republicans threaten impeachment. That’s what’s gonna take him down if Obama goes ahead with amnesty without Congressional approval.

Most Americans know how much of a criminal he is and most of us want him gone but Congress does nothing to get him held accountable. Obama continues to get worse as I predicted. Instead of celebrating Veterans day at home with a wreath laying ceremony, Obama goes to China to make a climate deal and Biden does the wreath laying ceremony instead. How Un-American is that? Now Obama wants to regulate the internet with the FCC. He’s gonna keep getting worse for the next two years.

Delusional left-wingers still don’t wanna wake-up on Obama. They still don’t wanna be aggressive enough on him. I know liberals are still defending Obama ’cause every time I make my anti-Obama stuff in facebook they just want to reject every negative thing that is said about Obama just like you guys do on here. No matter how many criminal actions you want to point out that Obama did toward liberals, they just don’t wanna hear the truth. It’s either Bush’s fault or the Republicans fault. I don’t understand why people still act like there’s nothing wrong with the guy and their obsession with thinking that Obama is innocent? The left is pretty one-sided, that’s why. They think there is nothing wrong with Democrats and yet Republicans are the bad guys.

I also think the left lack critical thinking skills which they know nothing about. I’m not a crazed conspiracy theorist or anything like that. I consider myself a critical thinker. I like to think deep. I like to do my homework on things and get facts. Get myself well-informed which a lot of people in America don’t do these days. That’s why I know so much about Obama’s past and what he’s done over the years.

It’s amazing how people don’t wanna see him in trouble. I don’t really wanna see him get held accountable for his amnesty when I would rather see him get busted for more serious crimes like Benghazi, Operation F&F, Obamacare, IRS and the NSA. I would like to see him get taken down for his fake birth certificate too. The Benghazi 4 still need their justices.

Why do people don’t wanna see him in get trouble? Who cares if he does or not, man. You don’t fucking know the guy or don’t know what he’s capable of, so why do people get so obsessed with thinking he does nothing wrong no matter the situation? I’m sick of seeing people pretending he does nothing wrong. People really are whacked when it comes to politics discussion. He’s just a political figure we don’t know so who cares. Let him suffer for all I care. I don’t really care about political figures ’cause they’re all scum to be honest with ya.

I don’t know why so many people risk their life to protect this man that is dangerous and evil. If I was in government, I know I wouldn’t protect this man, I don’t care how much money I’d get paid — I don’t care if I lose my career or go to jail for it. Obama is like a cult leader and he has followers in government worshiping him. Obama is kind of like Joe Carroll in that show, “The Following”. Committing crimes and getting away with it by having his “followers” protect the man. There are even a handful of Republicans in Congress protecting Obama too.

It’s really disgusting, man. How government came out to be today. If our government was more trusting and they did their jobs then Obama would have been in prison a long time ago. Someday, you’re gonna regret thinking that there is nothing wrong with him. You should have had that feeling about him a long time ago.

Gonna see the movie “Interstellar” tomorrow…

The next movie I’m planning on seeing in theater is Christopher Nolan’s new flick, “Interstellar”, the new sci-fi movie with Matt McConaughey and Ann Hathaway. I’m looking forward to that one. As some of you know, I am a huge Christopher Nolan fan. He’s one of my favorite directors and I’ve watched all of his movies in the past.

While Nolan has done a great job with the three Batman movies, I’m glad he’s finally done with the Batman films. People want Nolan to keep doing more but hey, give the guy a break, ya know? Chris Nolan is a film maker and storyteller. He’s gonna wanna move on to other things at some point and he finally did exactly that after more than a decade of making Batman movies. I can’t blame him for wanting to move on and he must of finally gotten sick of it. Let him make other movies. He can tell other great stories besides Batman.

I’m looking forward to “Interstellar” tomorrow. Yeah, the movie is 3 hours long but knowing how Christopher Nolan movies are, he’s good at making long movies that feel like they’re short if you know what I mean. The Batman films were like 2 hours and 45 minutes, the pacing went by pretty fast. Nolan is a genius at that.

I love Nolan’s directing style and he’s a good storyteller. I’m not lying when I said I’ve seen all of his movies. I’ve even seen his very first film, “Following” which is also very good. So far, I think Nolan’s best films are “Memento” and “The Dark Knight: Rises” but that opinion could change when I see “Interstellar” tomorrow. “Interstellar” is gonna be long but I’m gonna stick through it. Looking forward to it and will review it, of course.

I’ve been looking forward to “Interstellar” ever since the film has been announced which was like what, a year ago?

What being a musician is all about, in my opinion…

When you want to be a musician and become a part of the musicians community, yes, you are literally going to be surrounded by a bunch of assholes, huge egos, drama queens, attention whores and you’ll have to deal with a lot of “cliques” but… playing music is not about making friends with everybody and trying to make everybody happy. That’s what a lot of musicians and local music fans mistakenly believe. You’re gonna deal with a lot of bullying, harassment and others making fun of you and all of that stuff but you have to ignore everyone the best you can and fuck everyone, ya know??? You’re gonna have heated feuds with other musicians and not get along with a lot of them. Like I said before in this paragraph, I’ll repeat myself once more, “Playing music is not about making friends and trying to make everybody happy”.

You picked up your instrument for a reason. You spent many years of your life trying to get good at what you do. Whatever you do, play covers or originals. You either sing or play an instrument, whatever.

To me what being a musician is all about is making music ’cause YOU enjoy doing it. Music is here for you. You’re here to make music to share it with the world. Whatever your goals and dreams are in music whether you do music for the money or not, you must focus on that and not worry about what others think. You’re gonna get haters. You’re gonna get doubters. That’s just the way music works. No matter how much controversy or backlash you get, you gotta keep moving forward with your music and only concentrate on that. You need to focus on your dreams and goals, not worrying about how everyone else feels about you good or bad.

I like what I do. Just making music for the internet and not worrying about becoming a star or anything. I just make music ’cause it’s what I do. I don’t care to perform on a large stage in front of thousands of fans. I’m fine with recording music at home with just a simple recording rig on a computer or an Ipad. That’s all I need.

You don’t need to play music to make friends or to be a star. I’m not in it to make friends or to be a star. You play music ’cause you enjoy it. I play music ’cause it’s how I live my life. Without it, I would be nothing. I love guitar playing and that’s all I wanna do. You should have that same attitude as well.

I meant what I said about the title. I dig the new Taylor Swift song and the video itself is great.

I still haven’t heard her new album “1989”; although, I do own the new album and it’s on my Ipod waiting to get listened to. I’ll get around to it soon. Maybe tonight, I’ll give her new album a listen.

People really need to stop hating Taylor Swift. I never found anything wrong with her. I listened to her previous albums which I also own in my CD collection: “Speak Now” and “Fearless”. I dig those two albums as well. I don’t have her album “RED” yet but gonna get around to buying that one sometime in the future.

Yeah, I’m a Taylor Swift fan and not ashamed of saying it. I dig her songs.

My preferred genre of music is rock & metal but like I always say, I’ll listen to a little bit of everything else. It’s important to listen to other genres other than your preferred genre. Gotta have some diversity in your tastes in music.

Joe Carnahan’s “Stretch” was a very good film, you should check it out…

Over the weekend, I saw this movie called, “Stretch” written and directed by Joe Carnahan. You probably know that name from somewhere, right? Joe Carnahan is the director who is most famous for making films such as “The A-Team” and “The Grey”. You’ve probably seen both of those movies too. Well here’s Joe’s latest movie, “Stretch” which stars Patrick Wilson. This film wasn’t a theater release… it was released exclusively for the internet so technically this is a “straight to internet” movie. It was released for Itunes and Amazon back in Oct. Now it’s made streamable for Netflix and I watched it last night.

It was a funny and entertaining as hell film. Probably Joe’s best film, in my opinion. Stretch is a pretty bad ass character. There is also surprise cameo appearances by David Hasselhoff, Ray Liotta and Norman Reedus. This movie is more of an action, comedy, and thriller. There’s a lot of violence and swearing throughout the movie but it tells a good story. I’m probably gonna end up watching it again this week. This movie is worth a watch. You’ll be addicted to it. The film was only an hour and a half long but wished it could have been longer.

Why was this movie released straight to the internet instead of the big screen? Well, Joe did try to give this film a big screen release but Universal didn’t want to release it. The film’s producer tried to shop for other studios to buy it but nobody was interested. So I guess, the major Hollywood studios thought the film was garbage but I didn’t think so. I thought the film was great and it should have gotten a big screen release. The studios may have thought the film was garbage but the film have gotten mostly positive reviews from movie fans. Joe tried really hard to get the film a big release but since nobody wanted to release it, they released it for the internet ’cause he really wanted us to see it.

You really should give the film a watch. You might like it yourself.

Groovy! Bruce Campbell confirmed to reprise his role as Ash for “Evil Dead” TV series!!!

This is big news for Evil Dead and Bruce Campbell fanatics like myself. While I am excited for this news, the only problem is though that I don’t have the Starz channel. I don’t get any premium channels for cable TV anymore as they are too expensive.

“Evil Dead” is coming to Starz for a 10 episode run and each episode will be only a half hour long. I just knew that Bruce’s cameo at the end of the latest “Evil Dead” film confirms a future return for Ash and I was right.

The TV show will be just like the movies. Ash trying to fight the Deadites to survive… lots of blood and gore w/ wacky humor along with it.

Will we see the chainsaw as his hand and the sawed off shotgun? I’m sure we will see both of those again but I’m sure Ash will come up with new weapons as well.

I’m dying to watch this show being the big “Evil Dead” nut that I am but I don’t have Starz. I’ll just watch it when it comes out on Netflix or DVD. Wish the episodes can be an hour but despite the length, I’m just glad Evil Dead is coming back with Ash this time.

Even though Bruce hasn’t played the character in so many years, I’m sure he’ll kill the role with no problem at all.

Why I don’t agree with a local music award show and why we don’t need to have one…

I just wanted to talk about more of my thoughts on this local music award show that is happening in the Albany area:

Ya know, if this area wants to have an award show based on local bands and musicians, that’s fine by me. That’s their prerogative. Just leave me out of it. I’m not interested whatsoever. I don’t play music to win awards. I don’t care about some freakin’ trophy that means nothing. Winning awards is not what I play music for. I’m not desperate for that kind of attention and my ego is not that big, trust me. You don’t need to win awards to prove that you’re a talented musician.

On top of that, awards for musicians and bands are for the national industry. Local musicians aren’t famous people. We’re not celebrities or stars and that’s the problem with this area. A lot of musicians around here live under the delusion of being a “rock” star. Once again, we’re not local celebrities or rock stars. We’re just regular human beings playing music but of course, in this day and age… nobody sees music that way anymore. Everybody around here just wants to become locally well-known and popular. Everybody is obsessed with wanting to become that recognizable musician and become more established.

This award show that these guys are putting together “The Cammy’s” is just a “Do It Yourself” kind of event. It’s not being run by professional business people. It’s being run by amateurs putting their own money toward this thing. I’m willing to bet this award show costs them a lot. I’m sure those trophies are custom made from some shitty trophy company that anybody even myself can get.

If you want to know a few interesting facts about this show, here you go:

1) The winners of this award show are probably gonna be chosen by the nominees just like last year’s. So chances are, the nominees are going to be voting for themselves or their friends.

2) All the owner of this award show wants to do is to promote his shitty Alice In Chains tribute band, “Sludge Factory”. You’ve probably heard of them. This guy doesn’t care about us or the scene. All he cares about is shoving his shitty band, Sludge Factory in our faces and he just wants to make money off this award show. Chances are, this guy which shall be nameless at this time is gonna nominate his own band in a category or two and he’ll give himself an award this year.

3) The people running this show are all a bunch of douchebags. If you give these people any criticism of any kind about this show, they’ll become all defensive. They’re really unprofessional toward people. They have horrible attitudes, they’re very rude and they’re not to be trusted. I’m fine with this area having an award show, I just hate the people running this show. Trust me, they’re all pricks. These are the kind of people who shouldn’t be running shows like this. If there was a real award show in this area, they would be very friendly and courteous to others but the people organizing “The Cammy’s” are all assholes.

I understand this area wants to be “friendly” and “supportive” toward local music but they gotta stop being so naive about it. Watch out who and “what” they trust ’cause everybody is not your friend around here. If you actually go to this show, “The Cammy’s” all you’re going to see is disappointment.

The people running this show, “The Cammy’s” are egomaniacal and delusional. Just people trying to get more attention. That’s all I see it as.

If you’re a musician and if you’re willing enough to support this thing… chances are… you’re just hoping to get an award yourself even if you don’t wanna admit to it. I’m sure people are gonna accuse me of being the only one being against this show but trust me, I’m not alone. There are many others out there who are with me that this award show is garbage.

This is one of the reasons why I can’t stand this area’s music scene. Too many delusional people living in their own fantasy world.

Slipknot’s new album, “The Gray Chapter” is really incredible stuff… it’s a must listen if you love rock & metal…

Last night I finally gotten around to listening to Slipknot’s new album, “The Gray Chapter”. I listened to the whole record. It’s a long record but I was pretty much blown away by the music on it. While I love metal & hard rock… I’m not much into the downtuned guitars and screaming vocals but with Slipknot, I’ll take that stuff as an exception. It really was an amazing album. Probably the best album of this year so far.

The album has pretty impressive songwriting and great melodies. I love all the guitar sounds. The riffs and the leads will melt your faces. The studio quality of the album is pretty impressive as well.

Some of you may not see it but I’m a huge fan of metal and heavy music. I grew up listening to metal. I tried listening to Slipknot in the past before but I couldn’t get into them until now. After hearing this new album, makes me want to buy their previous albums. Love ’em or hate ’em, they are the greatest metal band in the industry today.

If pop, country and rap weren’t dominating the industry, then Slipknot would have been huge mainstream stars. They are pretty huge and successful but only in the rock & metal industry. I respect Slipknot a whole lot now. This band is really great.

I know this band isn’t for everyone. They are controversial and dark but give them a chance. You’ll actually dig this band yourself once you start listening. “The Gray Chapter” would be a good album to start off with if you’re a new fan.

I’m hardly ever that blown away by listening to albums that much but the new Slipknot album really did it to me. They just made a new fan here and I hope I get my chance to see them live in concert sometime in the future. Check this album out. It’s listenable and will blow your mind.

A little drama between Biden and Obama over immigration…

This is entertaining as hell. Even Biden is pissing Obama off. I think Obama is still upset at the Republican victory last week and Obama hasn’t recovered from it. This just goes to show how much Obama hates those evil Republicans. One mention of that word, “republican”, Obama will react to it.
