Cool Video: Michael J. Fox reprises his role as Marty McFly for “Scream” awards teaser!!!!

It may not be “Back to the Future: Part IV” but this is better than nothing! Michael J. Fox, finally got his opportunity to reprise his role as Marty McFly, but in a commercial for the “Scream” awards teaser. This teaser is so badass! Michael still plays Marty McFly very well, even with Parkinson’s Disease!

I so wish there could be a “Back to the Future: part IV”. If Michael was never diagnosed with Parkinson’s, there probably would have been a part IV.

Check out this awesome video! I love the Back to the Future trilogy!

Report: General Zod is not the villain for next Superman flick, Zack Snyder says…

Zack Snyder, the new director of “Superman” did this little interview at this blog site, and he says that General Zod, being villain for the next movie, is just a rumour.

Kind of a good thing actually. I would honestly not see General Zod or Luthor be used again. What Superman villains haven’t been used yet for live action film?

Look at this list, and see for yourself.

I would like either: Brainiac, Doomsday or Darkseid.

Toyman would be cool too.

Film Review: The Social Network

Starring: Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, Justin Timberlake, Joseph Mazello, Rooney Mara

Directed by: David Fincher

So tonight, I just saw the movie, “The Social Network”, yes, the Facebook movie. Here is my review.

Plot/Synopsis: This is not a biopic about Mark Zuckerberg, the Facebook founder/owner. It’s about how he started the site. The movie is about a young college student, named Mark Zuckerberg who starts a website named, “Facemash” after breaking up with his girlfriend, Erica Albright. It was a site made for Harvard school for male students to decide which two female students are more attractive. Later on in the film, Mark came up with the idea of “The Facebook” a social networking site for Harvard students only where students can have the opportunity to post their personal information publicly. Throughout the film, Mark tries to battle through different lawsuits that were filed by other Harvard students. From there, this is how Mark Zuckerberg is able to create the most popular social networking site in the world, aka, Facebook…still going strong today and the site that made the kid rich.

Well, I was totally surprised by the movie. I definitely think it was the best movie I’ve seen all year long. This is true cinema. The way movies should be made. The script was perfect. Cast was perfect. David Fincher gives the film a dark feel like he usually does with all of his movies, but there was a lot of humor in this film. What I was most impressed the most with the film, was the brilliant acting by the cast. Usually in a movie, you see one or two good actors…but in this one, prettty much the entire cast did an amazing acting job all around. It was some of the best acting by a cast I’ve seen in a long time. Jesse Eisenberg was great. His best role.

Trent Reznor’s score for the movie was pretty haunting and dark. Trent gave the music a moody feeling, just what the film needed.

I wasn’t bored at all with this movie. Didn’t fall asleep or nothing. It was entertaining all the way through. I know this isn’t a long detailed review but if a film is perfect, there’s not much to say about it. This movie definitely does have Oscar award written all over it. It will be best picture of the year for sure. I don’t know if Jesse Eisenberg will win Best Actor for leading role of this flick, but he definitely will get nominated. If there was an actor from this film to win an award, I would hand it to Andrew Garfield who did the best acting job of them all. Andrew Garfield did a jaw dropping performance. That kid is one talented actor. Best Supporting Actor for Andrew Garfield, all the way!

This is David Fincher’s best directed film ever. Most say, Chris Nolan’s “Inception” was the best movie of 2010? No way. This movie  here, “The Social Network” is the best film of the year, in my opinion. I’m glad David Fincher finally did a film that is based on real things instead of all these silly thriller flicks he’s known to do. This film was brilliant. Do yourself a favor and go see it soon if you haven’t yet.

Score for “The Social Network” = **** (4 stars as in “excellent)

Cool Video: See footage of actor Eric Stoltz play Marty McFly here, thanks to CNN…

CNN exclusively released rare never before seen footage of Eric Stoltz, the first actor that was originally signed to play Marty McFly in, “Back to the Future”. Rob Zemeckis and Steven Spielberg shot 5 weeks of filming with Eric, but they ended up firing the guy from the role because they felt he didn’t fit. The job obviously went to Michael J. Fox instead, of course! The film makers of “Back to The Future” never shown this footage publicly. You can see the rest of the Eric Stoltz footage on the upcoming “Back to the Future” Blu Ray set, which I will definitely buy! This video is very cool and it’s worth seeing!

Report: “The Flash” and “The Green Lantern 2” scripts will be handed to Warner Bros. by Christmas of this year…

I know everyone is getting sick and tired of superhero movies, but can you blame them? They’ve been huge money makers these days with Raimi’s “Spiderman” movies and Chris Nolan’s “Batman” flicks making a lot of bucks, I can’t blame Hollywood for going crazy with them. I believe that Hollywood’s goal is that they want all DC and Marvel superheroes to get their chance at the big screen. Not all of them had their turn at the big screen yet, and Hollywood is giving them one at a time. The Flash and the Green Lantern never had their big screen debuts yet, so I think they deserve it.

We’ll get a “Flash” and “Green Lantern 2” film soon ’cause the scripts will be handed to Warner Bros. later this year.

See the article here at, Deadline.

I was never much of a Green Lantern fan, but I absolutely LOVE the Flash. So I’ll be more interested in seeing a live action, Flash movie. Could John Wesley Shipp reprise his role as the Flash for the live action movie? Sure, why not. He’s not that old, he’s 54 now and that’s kind of young.

BREAKING NEWS: Rhys Ifans officially casted as new “Spiderman” villain…

Rhys Ifans, an actor from Wales, has been officially casted by Sony Pictures as the main villain, for the next “Spiderman” reboot. The studios are refusing to say what villain he is playing, however, so let the guessing games begin.

See the article here at, Deadline.

I hope they won’t start the reboot with the Green Goblin again. That’s already been done when Willem Dafoe played the Green Goblin for the original “Spiderman” movie with Sam Raimi, Tobey Maguire. I didn’t like, the Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire, “Spiderman” movies. They were very badly done. Sam Raimi made those movies way too cartoonish for me.

Hope they do the next, “Spiderman” movie good ’cause the cast is looking interesting so far. I’m actually glad Tobey Maguire is no longer Spiderman ’cause I never liked him as an actor anyways.

I’m gonna go with Doctor Octopus.

Report: Tony Gilroy confirms the Jason Bourne character won’t be in, “The Bourne Legacy”…

Ever since the Deadline website reported that Tony Gilroy is on board to helm, the next Jason Bourne flick, Gilroy cleared up the fact that the Jason Bourne character won’t be in the next film at all. Gilroy also says, it’s not a prequel, reboot or a recast. He explains that this is an original script, a complete standalone film. He says the script has a new hero and someone totally different.

Gilroy even explains the plot a little bit. He says everything you saw in the first three films actually happened, they plan to show you the bigger side of things of how everything happened. Read what Gilroy have to say, here.

Now, the movie sounds very interesting to me! COOL! Looking forward to seeing who the new character is. Will the new hero be a man or a woman? It’ll probably be a man, but I’d like the hero to be a woman this time. Lets hope they don’t get Shia Labeouf, Channing Tatum, or Jeremy Renner in the lead. I won’t bother if any of those guys get the role.

Hope they pick a good actor for the new character. Sounds good!

Cool Video: “Blue Valentine” trailer hits the web…

I am not into romance type of drama’s that much, but this new film, “Blue Valentine” looks like a very good one. I think the trailer is pretty impressive. It stars Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams. Since it got an NC-17 rating, it probably won’t be playing everywhere, maybe in selective theaters. I will wait for this movie to come out on DVD. Looks like a great film. Does Michelle strip it all off throughout most of the movie?

Sounds like this movie has more to the story than just a couple falling in love. This film has my interest!

Report: “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows part 1” will only be shown in 2D…

Woah, even I’m kind of shocked by this announcement! Warner Bros. announced that they will only be showing the new Harry Potter film, “The Deathly Hollows” in 2D only for now. The reason is, they were unable to convert the film to 3D to be at the best quality. They still plan to release, “Deathly Hollows 2” in 2D and 3D, though. Read Warner Bros. statement, here.

I’m not a Harry Potter fan, but I honestly find, “The Deathly Hollows” really interesting to me. The film actually looks really great, yes, I said that. I don’t know if I’ll see it in theater or not ’cause I would need to watch the earlier Harry Potter films so I can catch up with the story. Honestly, I’ve never read a Harry Potter book or seen a single movie. Just wasn’t interested in this whole Wizard thing, but “Deathly Hollows” kind of got me intrigued.

First look at Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe…

That is Marilyn Monroe, oooops, I mean, Michelle Williams (the former girlfriend of Heath Ledger). She will star in the upcoming Marilyn Monroe biopic titled, “My Week With Marilyn”.

See the full article, here.

Wow. Who ever did the make-up, hair styling and costume design, did an amazing job. I smell Oscar worthy for this film?

I’ve always been a huge fan of Marilyn Monroe. So I’ll be interested in seeing this myself!
