Disney is getting their own streaming service… looks like all the Star Wars movies being made Netflix streamable is never gonna happen now…

Netflix has been trying to get all Star Wars movies to be made streamable, including the original trilogy and the prequels, but looks like that’s never gonna happen now. The reason is that Disney is getting their own streaming service pretty soon and everything Star Wars and everything Marvel will be moved to there.

http://variety.com/2017/biz/news/star-wars-marvel-movies-disney-streaming-service-1202549993/

I was surprised to see that Disney actually allowed Netflix to stream, Star Wars: Rogue One — that film is gonna get pulled off of there.

Anyway, I don’t like Disney anymore. They’re no longer an interesting company. Are they trying to own everything? Seems like it. Disney is a powerful empire and it’s getting bigger.

Netflix is not all that great of a service either. You don’t need to watch Star Wars on Netflix anyways. The movies can be bought and downloaded from Itunes. If you have a Blu Ray player or just use DVD, you can watch the Star Wars movies on those things too. Even better, if you’re old school and still watch movies on VHS, you could probably watch the original Star Wars versions on VHS.

Screw Netflix. I don’t watch Netflix as much as I used to ’cause it’s no longer interesting. I only kept it ’cause of “Longmire” and “Gotham”. I like those shows.

Warner Bros. moving forward with an all-female “Lord of the Flies” movie… really? Lmao…

Well, we’ll see how this one goes. Hollywood already toyed with the idea of an all-female “Ghostbusters” movie… well, looked at how that turned out; that movie flopped in the box office pretty hard. The same will happen to this movie that Warner Bros. is planning: an all-female version of “The Lord of The Flies”. There’s a couple of dudes by the name of Scott McGehee and David Siegel who made a deal with WB to write and direct it.

Scott McGehee & David Siegel Plan Female-Centric ‘Lord Of The Flies’ At Warner Bros

My question is, why? The book by William Golding is one of my favorite books of all time and I love the movie too. The book is way better, of course. I’m with most people that I don’t like this idea at all. This “all-female” trend has gotta stop ’cause nobody wants it.

Hollywood box office numbers really plummeting like crazy… lets figure out why, shall we???

I know I’m a pretty big movie buff. I’ve watched movies for most of my entire life. I’ve watched movies in the theaters over the years, rented movies from local videos stores in the past, watched movies on TV and now that streaming is a big thing, I watch movies on Netflix as well.

For the past couple of years now, the movie industry have been plummeting in box office numbers like crazy. People are losing more and more interest in Hollywood lately…

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/summer-box-office-suffers-historic-decline-us-1033385

Lets figure out why no one cares about the movies much anymore… could it be those SJW celebrities who likes to speak out on left-wing politics all the time? That could be a big factor.

Another factor could be is just that Hollywood no longer makes good films. Ya know, people are getting fed up with all these remakes/reboots and sequels. We’re also getting tired of all these action films loaded with CGI and shit. Maybe this will help give Hollywood the hint that we’re tired of it all. No doubt that popcorn films have dominated the film industry. The writing of films have been shit nowadays and the acting in films hasn’t been good either. Superhero films have also dominated the industry and maybe we’re getting tired of that too?

I love movies and still do but even I’m losing interest in Hollywood. I’ve been going to the movies less and less myself. It’s not because of celebs left-wing politics, it’s just that there isn’t anything good out anymore. I still go to the movies but only if there’s a movie I want to see. I saw “The Dark Tower” which was good. Next, I’m looking forward to “Stephen King’s IT”, “Star Wars 8”, “Justice League” and “SAW 8”.

Pretty much the main reason why I’ve been going to the movie theaters less and less is ’cause I’m no longer interested in newer films. I’m an old-school kind of guy so I prefer classic films more. I guess it’s one of those “it’s all about getting older” things. I’ve been watching a lot of old movies which is what I like.

It’s sad what Hollywood has come to be. I used to love going to the movies a lot but now I no longer care. I enjoy watching movies at home more lately.

The Joker is finally getting his own solo film by Warner Bros./DC… interesting…

The Joker who is obviously the most famous Batman villain is finally getting his own solo film brought to you by Warner Bros./DC. Todd Phillips the director of “The Hangover”trilogy is set to direct the solo Joker film.

The Joker has been played by many different actors over the years through animated movies and live-action movies. Most notably, the Joker has been played by Cesar Romero from the old TV show, Jack Nicholson in the 1989 “Batman” film by Tim Burton, Heath Ledger in 2008’s “The Dark Knight” and Mark Hamill voiced the character through animated films and video games.

As far as the new Joker goes, it makes a whole lot of sense to have a comedy director make the film ’cause the Joker is obviously about making jokes and stuff.

The Joker Origin Story On Deck: Todd Phillips, Scott Silver, Martin Scorsese Aboard WB/DC Film

Who’s gonna be the new Joker? I hope they stay away from Jared Leto ’cause I never liked him as the Joker. They probably won’t pick any of the previous Jokers ’cause all the previous ones would be too old. Since this is an “origin” story, they’ll probably find someone young. Will they pick a big name actor or a total unknown? They’re probably gonna go for a big name, I bet. Will Harley Quinn be involved in the solo Joker movie? Probably. That Harley Quinn character is very popular and she’s probably gonna be featured in other films a lot more often. The Joker and Harley were important together so of course, she’s gonna be a part of the story for sure, no doubt.

I’m all for a solo Joker movie just as long as they don’t try to rip off Nicholson or Ledger.

Looking forward to seeing how this film is gonna go, though.

Saw “The Dark Tower” movie earlier today and it was freakin’ awesome surprisingly!!!

Roland Deschain.jpg

Ron Howard has been trying to make “The Dark Tower” series happen for many years; he had a lot of difficulties and setbacks trying to get this project greenlighted. Studios kept rejecting the project and it was finally picked up by Columbia Pictures. The studio, Columbia Pictures was gracious enough to finally get it greenlighted and get the project going. The film also went through a few actors trying to sign on the leading role of Roland Deschain, the books protagonist. Javier Bardem was the film’s original choice for Roland but Javier bailed and the role was obviously given to Idris Elba instead. While I’m sure Javier would have done a great job, I’m glad the role was given to Elba ’cause Elba killed it. Elba knocked it out of the park; he was a total badass as Roland Deschain, I was impressed!

As far as the movie, “The Dark Tower” itself goes — I thought it was excellent! The film is getting mixed reviews by movie fans and getting trashed by critics but the last thing you want to do is listen to them. Just go see the movie yourself and then make your own opinion, that’s what I do. I thought the script was well-written and well-acted by the cast. The movie was an hour and a half long; it maybe a short movie but that’s because the book was short.

Yeah, the film overdid it with the CGI effects but what else are they gonna do when they keep switching to our world to Roland’s world where he came from, ya know? The CGI was needed for a movie like this. It was still a phenomenal movie, though. I fucking loved it all the way through. No complains at all. Definitely one of the best movies of 2017 other than “Logan”.

I thought Matt McConaughey played a badass villain like he always did. I think Matt did play a few villains in his career over the years especially his film “Killer Joe” (another great movie he did) but Matt was awesome as the Man in Black.

I thought the film was entertaining as hell. I had to go see it ’cause it’s one of my favorite books and I’ve been looking forward to this film for a pretty long time and the film is finally here!

Again, don’t listen to the critics, y’all. I thought the movie was brilliant and definitely getting the movie on BluRay when it comes out. Some of you may ask… how many Dark Tower movies are there gonna be? Will Eddie and Susannah be in the next one? I don’t know. Reading about the “Dark Tower” movie, this is a continuation of the 8 books so technically this movie isn’t based on any of the 8 books.

I can see Susannah appearing but Eddie, I don’t know. Something happens to Eddie in one of the books which I don’t want to say. Yeah, I know Eddie and Susannah are the two most popular characters in the series. The movie series is a continuation after the books so it’ll be hard to bring them both back. I’m sure the writers will figure it out, though ’cause this is Stephen King. Anything is possible with him, haha!

Again, don’t listen to the negativity toward this movie. Go see it and enjoy!

Ralph Macchio is confirmed to reprise his role as Daniel Larusso for “Karate Kid” revival, it’s gonna be a TV show and not a big screen movie…

Well this is interesting… look like a Karate Kid sequel is happening after all but only thing is it’s gonna be a TV show; it won’t be a big screen movie. It will be a 10 episode TV series exclusively to be aired on YoutubeRed first but I’m sure other streaming services like Netflix, Hulu and others will get it later in the future.

The show takes place 30 years after the first Karate Kid film where Daniel Larusso had his iconic karate bout against Johnny Lawrence. Well, Ralph Macchio is set to reprise his role as Daniel Larusso for the “Karate Kid” revival simply titled, “Cobra Kai” for now. The story will center around Johnny Lawrence now owning the “Cobra Kai” karate school which was previously owned by John Kreese (who was played by Martin Kove in the first movie). The Larusso and Lawrence feud is back on again so it’s looking like they’re about to get their rematch? Seems so!!!

Read the full story here:

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/karate-kid-tv-sequel-starring-ralph-macchio-william-zabka-a-go-at-youtube-red-1014453

Read this article here on why Macchio and Zabka agreed to sign on this project:

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/karate-kid-youtube-series-ralph-macchio-william-zabka-offer-details-1026965

I do remember that Hollywood has been trying to get Ralph Macchio on a new Karate Kid movie but he kept refusing. I think they were even trying to get Macchio to star in the remake that starred Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan but Macchio refused.

What do you think? Do you think that Ralph Macchio can still play Larusso after all these years? Yes, I think Ralph still has it. I think he’ll still play the character just fine but keep in mind, though, Macchio is 55 years old now… he’s no kid anymore like he was in the original trilogy.

Some of you may ask why is this show gonna be a comedy? If you think about it, the original trilogy had a mix of comedy, drama and action. So I guess they’re going for the same format for this show? Ya know, in the first Karate Kid movie… that movie had plenty of funny scenes especially all the “wax on, wax off” stuff.

In this “Cobra Kai” TV show, are we gonna see some other familiar faces from the first film? I think it’s a possibility. Maybe we’ll see that guy who screams, “Put him in a bodybag” and laughing his head off. Maybe we’ll see Martin Kove reprise his role as Kreese ’cause that would be fuckin’ awesome! Maybe Elisabeth Shue can return as well.

I’ll watch this show but I’m not gonna subscribe to YoutubeRed. I’ll wait for this show to get on Netflix so hopefully they make it streamable later. I’m a huge Karate Kid fan and glad this is happening.

Ralph is a great actor, though… loved him in other movies such as “The Outsiders”, “My Cousin Vinny” and can’t forget “Crossroads”. I’m sure he’ll do a great job playing Larusso again!

Release date set for “Bond 25″… we won’t see another Bond movie until Nov. of 2019…

Contrary to reports that claimed Daniel Craig is returning to Bond 25, it is not yet clear on whether or not he will return… if he was confirmed to come back then the studios would have announced it themselves. A release date set for Bond 25 will be Nov. 8th in 2019. A couple of writers has been confirmed and producer has been confirmed as well.

No director has been named yet so that basically means that Sam Mendes is definitely out; he won’t be directing the third one. This also means that a new director will have to be signed for the director’s chair for the next installment.

Will Daniel Craig return? Don’t know… he hasn’t said anything yet but I’m sure we’ll hear from him soon. I hope Daniel returns for one more ’cause I really like him as Bond. Daniel is more exciting to watch than Pierce Brosnan. The only Pierce 007 movie I liked was “GoldenEye”; that film was actually a very good one!

Anyhow, no cast has been confirmed yet for Bond 25 but I’m positive Ralph Fiennes will return as M and I’m sure Naomi Harris will return as Moneypenny.

I do hope the writers will bring Christoph Waltz back as Blofeld ’cause that was a phenomenal performance. I think Bond 25 should be a continuation of Spectre and think it would be an interesting concept. The movie “Spectre” was a new introduction of Blofeld, giving you a hint that the character will appear in more films.

Full “Justice League” trailer is finally out and it looks freakin’ awesome! Hell yeah!!!

While San Diego Comic Con is underway this weekend, WB’s decided to drop the “Justice League” trailer today. So here it is, the full trailer for “Justice League”.

I’m pretty impressed with it really. I really liked “Man of Steel”, “Wonder Woman” and “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice”. I thought all three were great flicks! All three of those films were leading up to the “Justice League” film. While all the advertisements omitted Superman, I believe they finally included him in this trailer above. The trailer teases Superman’s return. I believe that’s who Alfred was talking to when he was talking to a character “off-screen”… that was Clark Kent/Superman who Alfred was talking to; that was Henry Cavill’s voice, indeed.

So when are we actually going to see Superman in action in the film? Probably not until the very end of the movie I would say. Throughout the movie, they would keep teasing that Superman is alive and then we’ll see him at the end. Superman will join the Justice League group at the end of the movie. It’s not really a “spoiler” ’cause everybody probably knows that’s what’s going to happen anyways.

Anyhow, I’m pretty stoked for the movie. This is one movie that I’m most anticipated for this year other than “Star Wars: Episode 8”, “Stephen King’s The Dark Tower”, “IT” and “Jigsaw” (Saw 8).

Can’t wait for “Justice League”. Definitely going to see this one.

Sly Stallone writing the script for “Creed 2″… he really is bringing Ivan Drago back…

This is how Sly writes his scripts. I guess he writes them on regular notebook paper and then he types them into a word processor on a computer. Sly didn’t write the first “Creed” movie but it looks like they’re giving him the opportunity to write the 2nd one himself. So is Ryan Coogler still going to direct the 2nd one? Probably. Coogler will direct, Sly will write.

I guess he’s really going for an Ivan Drago comeback and Dolph will probably reprise the role. Is Ivan Drago going to fight Adonis Creed in the film? We’ll have to wait and see.

Kev

The trailer for SAW 8 is finally here, it’s called, “Jigsaw” and it’s a reboot apparently… starting the series over again…

I love the “SAW” series ’cause each film actually has a plot. Most horror films nowadays are typical slashers and gores without any story to it. Sure, “SAW” is full of slasher scenes and full of gore but hey… at least, they actually have a plot! I’m a huge fucking SAW fan.

Some of you know I am a huge fan of horror films. My love for horror films is pretty strong. I’ve watched horror flicks ever since I was a little kid.

I’m excited for Jigsaw’s return and thrilled that Tobin Bell is still playing him. The new SAW film is a reboot apparently as you can see in the trailer. I wonder how they’re gonna use the John Kramer storyline in this one??? Is John Kramer still dead? Obviously not. I can see why they had no choice to reboot the series ’cause it makes no sense to bring him back so might as well start the series all over again so John Kramer would have to get a new introduction in this new film.

I love the first “SAW” film starring Cary Elwes and Danny Glover. That’s a classic movie and it’s obviously the best of the series, in my opinion. John Kramer didn’t appear much in the first SAW film ’cause it was just an introduction. I’m sure Tobin Bell as Kramer would get a small part in the new “Jigsaw” film. In the other SAW movies, Tobin Bell starred throughout the entire films pretty much. How much will Tobin appear in “Jigsaw” film? We all know Tobin will be the voice of Jigsaw but I’m talking about when Kramer will appear in person like what happened at the end of the first SAW film.

These are awesome movies, though with smart storytelling… lots of twists and turns for sure. I’m sure the next movie will be in the same style. There are many people in this day and age who haven’t even seen the earlier SAW films so this film will definitely help draw more attention to the older series.

My question is will they use the main theme for SAW? The main theme in the video below. They usually use that theme toward the end of the film when a climax of a scene occurs… ya know, a scene when something major happens.

John Kramer is a badass character and can’t wait to see what he’s going to be like in the next film. I’m planning to re-watch the 7 films again before the next one comes out. I have ’em all on Bluray.

I’m sure this film is gonna be a box office smash. Every SAW film did well in the box office; each film were all big hits.
