Ben Affleck to direct, co-write and star in his very own Batman film…

A lot of people expected Ben Affleck to direct either “Batman vs. Superman” or “Justice League” but instead Warner Bros./DC gave Zack Snyder both of those films. So to give Ben something to do, they decided to give him his own Batman standalone film which is a good idea.

I’m not a big fan of Ben Affleck’s liberal politics but I do like him as an actor and director. I really liked “The Town” and “Argo”, both good movies.

Ben Affleck To Team With DC’s Geoff Johns On Stand-Alone ‘Batman’ Film: Comic Con

So since Ben is now the new Batman director, he’s next line of the previous Batman directors: Tim Burton, Joel Schumacher and Christopher Nolan. Ben lines up with them now.

I wonder what Batman villain Ben will pick for his Batman standalone movie? I hope he stays away from the Joker ’cause I’m getting so tired of the Joker. He should go for Riddler or the Penguin. Deadshot will be cool too.

What’s Bill Murray doing at SDCC???

It’s that time again. San Diego Comic Con has just begun! Well, Bill Murray the famous actor/comedian just made his SDCC debut to promote his film “Rock the Kasbah”… but what is he really doing in SDCC when the “Ghostbusters” panel is tomorrow? Will Bill make an appearance for the “Ghostbusters” panel tomorrow?

The Ghostbusters panel is tomorrow at 2 p.m.:

For the Ghostbusters panel, I’m sure the four ladies will be in the panel but I wonder if the original three will make appearances to help celebrate the new film with the fans? Will Dan, Ernie and Bill make an appearance to surprise the fans? Who knows. We’ll have to wait and see. I’m sure the “Ghostbusters” panel will show some footage or even release the teaser.

There’s gotta be a reason that Bill Murray is there at SDCC… maybe to make the big announcement that he’s gonna be in the new “Ghostbusters” movie. We’ll have to wait and see.

Paul Feig shows off the new Ecto-1 car for all-female “Ghostbusters”…

Here’s what Melissa, Kate, Kristen and Leslie will be riding in. The new Ecto-1. Look like they’re keeping the Ecto-1 name after all.

Anyway, Paul Feig knows about all the negative criticism toward his “Ghostbusters” movie. He’s taking it all like a man and he likes hearing it all. Paul finally responds to the negative criticism toward this movie and he doesn’t seem to mind…

Who’s gonna play the young Han Solo? My bets are gonna be either Chris Pratt or Channing Tatum…

Disney confirmed that Han Solo is getting his own film but it will be a standalone. It will focus on Han Solo’s life growing up. So that means someone will be playing a young Han Solo, the wisecracking smuggler. The film will be directed by the two guys who gave us “The Lego Movie” and the two “21 Jump Street” films.

Who is gonna play the young Han Solo? Like the title says my bets are gonna be on Chris Pratt or Channing Tatum. I wouldn’t be surprised if they get Tatum, though. I hope not ’cause I’m not a big fan of Tatum at all… I would prefer Pratt over Tatum.

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/han-solo-star-wars-spinoff-807153

It’ll be interesting to see the history of Han Solo of how he became a smuggler and all that stuff. I’d like to see more insight on his friendship with Lando so a young black actor will have to play Lando for sure. Keep in mind that Han Solo has been dealing with Jaba the Hut for years so Jaba is probably gonna be involved. It’ll show how Han and Chewie met.

Look at Han Solo’s history for more:

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Han_Solo

Will the film use some of that stuff? Han Solo was born on planet Corellia and fell in love with a woman named Bria Tharen so I wonder if Bria Tharen will be a character in the movie? They probably will.

Will Harrison Ford be involved in this film? Probably not ’cause this film will focus on a young Han Solo probably but still there’s a possibility that Harrison could get a small role at the end of the film to explain the character growing up.

This is one spinoff that I’m actually interested in!

A bunch of Netflix original movies coming your way: Adam Sandler, Pee Wee, Crouching Tiger sequel, etc.

I’m looking forward to the “Crouching Tiger” sequel and the new Pee Wee film. Maybe I’ll check out the new Adam Sandler flicks too.

Netflix Dates First Feature Film Slate With Idris Elba, Cary Fukunaga, Adam Sandler, Harvey Weinstein, Paul Reubens & Judd Apatow

I love the Pee Wee character. Been a big fan of Paul Reubens for many years and still am so I can’t wait for “Big Holiday”.

Film Review: “Terminator: Genisys”.

Starring: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Emilia Clarke

Directed by: Alan Taylor

Earlier this afternoon, I have just seen “Terminator: Genisys” and here is my review…

Plot/Synopsis: When John Connor (Jason Clarke), leader of the human resistance, sends Sgt. Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) back to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) and safeguard the future, an unexpected turn of events creates a fractured timeline. Now, Sgt. Reese finds himself in a new and unfamiliar version of the past, where he is faced with unlikely allies, including the Guardian (Arnold Schwarzenegger), dangerous new enemies, and an unexpected new mission: To reset the future…

As a huge Terminator fan, I would have to say this Terminator movie was very disappointing. Even Arnold coming back to the famous character couldn’t save it. The only good thing about it was the action and Emilia Clarke who is an actress who I like. The plot was kind of silly and I think it was loaded with plot holes all over. Plus I thought the movie was badly casted for the most part. This film is neither a reboot or a remake but instead, I look at it as a continuation of “T-2: Judgement Day”. It’s just a typical Terminator movie with lots of action and special effects.

The only reason they did the aging Terminator storyline was so they can give an excuse for an aging Arnold Schwarzenegger to return. The action was fun but like I said, it was the only good thing about the film. I just wish it would be better ’cause this film was kind of a let down, in my opinion. It’s hard to make a great Terminator movie without James Cameron helming, only he can make a great Terminator movie. They can make as many Terminator movies as they want to but nothing will be better than the first two. I thought Michael Biehn played the better Kyle Reese.

The movie was just okay. It wasn’t anything special. I wish James Cameron would come back and save the Terminator franchise but he vows not to come back to them. He wants nothing to do with the series anymore which is a shame.

I’ll give the movie a score of 2 out of 5 as in “okay”.

30 years ago today the first “Back To the Future” film was released…

This is one of my favorite films of all time. While I do love the BTTF trilogy, the first will always be the best. It’s a classic indeed and I love it so much. I may as well re-watch it again later tonight.

Like most, I’ve seen it over a hundred times and it’s one of those films I’ll never get tired of.

Rocky Balboa returns to the big screen, “Creed” trailer is here!!!

People thought Rocky Balboa would never return to the big screen again but he did. Sylvester Stallone reprises his Rocky role for one more time. Is this the final time that Sly is gonna play Rocky? I predict, yes. I think there’s a possibility that Rocky might get killed off in this one… maybe die of a heart attack and Rocky will have an emotional death scene in the film maybe?

Anyway, this movie looks really great! I’ll probably be in the theater for this one since I’m a big Rocky fan.

Michael Bay’s Benghazi movie, “13 Hours” to be released on January 15, 2016…

Michael Bay’s Benghazi movie “13 Hours” has just set a released date for January 15, 2016 which will fall on MLK day weekend. The film will be based on the book by Mitchell Zuckoff.

The story will be about the 2012 attack on the U.S. Diplomatic compound in Benghazi that took the lives of U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and U.S. Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith, as well as the adjacent attack on a nearby facility in which two CIA contractors were killed. The book doesn’t really get into the myriad conspiracy theories surrounding the attacks, instead offering a minute-by-minute look at events. Zuckoff drew from accounts by several CIA contractors.

Deadline reports:

Paramount’s ’13 Hours’ Benghazi Drama Confirmed For MLK Weekend 2016

I know this movie will spark a lot of controversy. The question you have to ask is this, will this movie be a box office hit or a failure? I’m predicting it’s gonna be a hit and here’s why… most of the conservative community really care about Benghazi so all of us are definitely gonna see it. I know the liberal left is gonna probably boycott the movie and will want nothing to do with it but who knows though? Maybe some on the left will see the film just out of curiosity. It’s a known fact that the liberal left don’t care about Benghazi at all so the film will absolutely get a lot of criticism by the left. I really think the left should go see it that way, it could open more eyes and see how dangerous and tragic the Benghazi attack really was.

This movie will be like, “American Sniper”. You know how “American Sniper” was a major box office hit? That’s probably because many conservatives went and saw it. The same thing will happen to “13 Hours”.

I’m sure the “13 Hours” movie is gonna be very violent and graphic, though because the book was and I read the book. There’s definitely gonna be a lot of action and violent scenes. I’m looking forward to it.

I wonder what that fat liberal douchebag, Michael Moore will have something to say about “13 Hours” movie? Michael Moore was quick to attack, “American Sniper” but you know he will have something to say about “13 Hours”… I’ll be waiting for it.

After this movie gets released, hopefully more people will wake up about Benghazi and more people will want answers… that’s probably why this movie was made to hopefully wake up more people since the mainstream media refuses to report about Benghazi.

I’m sure we’ll get a trailer soon.

Will Ray Parker Jr’s “Ghostbusters” theme be in the all-female film???

A lot of Ghostbusters fans would wonder if the Ray Parker Jr. “Ghostbusters” theme will be in the upcoming Paul Feig all female “Ghostbusters”. Will Ray Parker Jr.’s song be played in the new upcoming film? Everybody knows about the legal battle between Ray Parker Jr. vs. Huey Lewis which was why the song wasn’t used for “Ghostbusters 2”.

Paul Feig says, the main theme to “Ghostbusters” will be in the film somehow but he won’t say whether he will use the original or do a cover song version of it. He’s pretty sure he’s gonna use the song.

Paul Feig is pretty sure Ray Parker Jr’s Ghostbusters theme is going to be in the reboot

I think that they won’t play the whole song if they’ll use the original Ray Parker Jr. tune, they’ll probably play parts of it… either that or they’ll play the whole song at the end credits?

I would say that the original song should be used for sure. So hopefully they got authorized permission from Ray Parker Jr. and Huey Lewis. I would think they would have to.
