Joe Carnahan’s “Stretch” was a very good film, you should check it out…

Over the weekend, I saw this movie called, “Stretch” written and directed by Joe Carnahan. You probably know that name from somewhere, right? Joe Carnahan is the director who is most famous for making films such as “The A-Team” and “The Grey”. You’ve probably seen both of those movies too. Well here’s Joe’s latest movie, “Stretch” which stars Patrick Wilson. This film wasn’t a theater release… it was released exclusively for the internet so technically this is a “straight to internet” movie. It was released for Itunes and Amazon back in Oct. Now it’s made streamable for Netflix and I watched it last night.

It was a funny and entertaining as hell film. Probably Joe’s best film, in my opinion. Stretch is a pretty bad ass character. There is also surprise cameo appearances by David Hasselhoff, Ray Liotta and Norman Reedus. This movie is more of an action, comedy, and thriller. There’s a lot of violence and swearing throughout the movie but it tells a good story. I’m probably gonna end up watching it again this week. This movie is worth a watch. You’ll be addicted to it. The film was only an hour and a half long but wished it could have been longer.

Why was this movie released straight to the internet instead of the big screen? Well, Joe did try to give this film a big screen release but Universal didn’t want to release it. The film’s producer tried to shop for other studios to buy it but nobody was interested. So I guess, the major Hollywood studios thought the film was garbage but I didn’t think so. I thought the film was great and it should have gotten a big screen release. The studios may have thought the film was garbage but the film have gotten mostly positive reviews from movie fans. Joe tried really hard to get the film a big release but since nobody wanted to release it, they released it for the internet ’cause he really wanted us to see it.

You really should give the film a watch. You might like it yourself.

Macaulay Culkin is still alive and well…

Macaulay Culkin the “Home Alone” and “Uncle Buck” star is quick to shoot down death rumors as you can see here. I’m sure he’s flattered that he’s been added to the celebrity death hoax victim and sure he finds it entertaining as hell.

It’s amazing how people quickly fall for these death hoaxes. I’m not that naive at all and I can always tell what is real and what is fake.

I’ve always respected Macaulay and still do. How come Macaulay doesn’t act in movies anymore as much as he used to? Well for one, this kid fucking loaded. He made a lot of money from his career since his childhood days so he doesn’t need to work as much anymore. I think Macaulay is just staying away from Hollywood and just enjoying life. He’s just living life the way he wants to so he’s playing music full time with his band, The Pizza Underground.

I’m glad he’s doing well, though and he’s looking good. I’ve watched all of his movies when he was a child: “Home Alone”, “The Good Son”, “Uncle Buck”, “Richie Rich”, etc. He’s been acting in movies since he was a little baby. He still gets new movie roles here and there but not as much as he used to. He doesn’t need to work those Hollywood blockbusters anymore… I think he wants to move on from that.

Dinesh D’ Souza’s movie, “America: Imagine The World Without Her” brief review…

So last night, I finally saw Dinesh D’ Souza’s latest film, “America: Imagine The World Without Her”. I must say that man… this movie must be seen by every American. It shouldn’t matter whether you’re left or right. Everyone needs to see this film if you want to know the truth of what’s going on. The left refuses to watch it ’cause they mistakenly believe that the film is gonna be nothing but criticism at Obama. The film does call out Obama a little bit but the film is way more than that. The film has more important stuff. I don’t want to give too much away.

If you wanna know how Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton happened… this film will tell you. You ever wonder why those two are so radical and corrupted??? That happened because of one man, Saul Alinsky. Saul Alinsky was the one who wanted the left to be radical and corrupted. It was all because of his book, “Rules For Radicals” which was the book that made Hillary and Barack for what they are today. Hillary’s ties with Saul Alinsky is nothing new… she’s been looking up to him ever since she was a young girl. She even met the guy too. Saul Alinsky taught ’em how to commit crimes and not go to prison for it. That is how Hillary and Barack are able to get away with their scandals ’cause they learned their stuff from Saul. That is why there is so much mystery surrounding Barack Obama.

Like I said, the film is more than just that stuff I explained above. I think liberals should watch it too although, I know they won’t even get near it.

I thought this was a pretty amazing film. Definitely my favorite film this year. There are so many fictional movies coming out this year and I wish everyone in America would watch something more important and more serious like this film here. Love Dinesh D’ Souza or hate him, he is a very successful man and this film is a hit. A lot of conservatives look up to this guy ’cause they admire his brave work and respect him for speaking the truth. This man has a lot of balls.

Sure, he’s a convicted felon but that doesn’t make him a bad man. His crime wasn’t that big of a deal anyway so I’m still gonna support him. I’m a huge fan of his work and he seems like a good guy. It’s funny how the left is worried about this guy being a criminal when the real criminal here is none other than, Barack Obama.

You should really check this movie out. The film was really well made. So far, it’s the best movie this year. It should get an Oscar nomination for Best documentary for sure.

Do not support, the Cammy’s…

*sigh*

Here we go with that damn local band award show thing again. They are doing it again this year but this time under a new name and new venue.

http://capitalareamusicawards.com/

The jackasses behind this thing are in obvious competition against the Grammy Awards show. Noticed how they made their website almost exactly the same as “The Grammy’s” website. “Cammy’s” is a dumb as hell name… I guess these losers couldn’t come up with anything else to rhyme with the “Grammy’s”. They’re trying to be bigger than the Grammy’s. Plus, noticed how they scheduled “The Cammy’s” the night before “The Grammy’s” are on TV.

I refuse to support this award show ’cause I’m not that naive. The people behind this thing are not to be trusted and they are a bunch of assholes.

Also, don’t believe in their claim that they are out to help us. The only reason they are doing this is to help themselves. The owner or “owners” behind “The Cammy’s” are just desperate for attention and they are doing this to pat themselves on the back. They are trying to become more well-known locally ’cause their music projects are absolute failures and they’ll do whatever they can to promote their bands.

The people (without naming names) behind “The Cammy’s” have serious delusions of grandeur. Once again, the local music scene does not need an award show. This is not what we should be playing music for. You don’t need awards to prove something about yourself.

If some of you get nominated out there, congratulations but don’t get too excited yet. You’ll only come to a disappointment when you go to the show. Chances are, the only people that will be winning so called “awards” are the people behind this stupid show and all their friends and supporters will be winning. This will be no different than the one last year. All you’re going to see at these shows are too much jerking off and patting themselves on the back.

Some of you may ask, “If Kev got nominated, he would support it too???”. No, not at all. If they nominated me, I would have told them to fuck off and shove it up their ass.

I refuse to support this award show and you shouldn’t either. Just wanted to give you a reality check on this.

Thoughts on “Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens”…

Yep, so this is the official subtitle for Star Wars 7, “The Force Awakens”. I dig the title. I like it.

Some of you may ask, why didn’t they name the title, “Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens”??? Well, if you know Star Wars way of marketing, the movies usually put the “Episode (Roman numerals here)” in the opening crawl of the movie. Lucasfilm never used the Roman numerals for posters and VHS/DVD boxart.

I remember in the first Star Wars movie they didn’t use the subtitle and roman numerals for the box art of VHS/DVD’s and they just called it “Star Wars”… they only used “Episode IV: A new Hope” for the opening crawl.

It’s just their sneaky little marketing strategy.

I expect Disney/Lucasfilm to release a teaser sometime at the end of the year… probably around Christmas. What big movie will the teaser trailer be attached to??? Since “Star Wars Episode VII” is Disney, they’ll probably attach it to “Into The Woods” w/ Johnny Depp or they could put it in front of the new “Hobbit” movie, either one.

Once again, I hope JJ don’t let us down. I’m praying for a great Star Wars movie here.

“Ghostbusters” reunion photo 30 years later… minus Harold Ramis…

If Harold Ramis was still alive, I’m sure he would have been in this photo instead of Sigourney Weaver. That’s probably why they put Sigourney in there since Harold is no longer with us.

Anyway… Bill, Ernie and Dan still look great as Ghostbusters. Why does the new Ghostbusters film have to be an all female re-boot when it should be these guys in the leading role? Maybe they’ll still be in it. Who knows. We’ll have to wait and see.

It really is too bad Harold is gone, though. Wish he could have lived longer so he could do this movie with them.

“Star Wars – Episode 7” maybe all done filming the scenes but J.J. still has lots of work to do…

JJ Abrams maybe all done filming with the cast of “Star Wars Episode 7” but JJ still has a lot of work to do on the film so we still have a long road to go before completion. What’s next for JJ after filming the movie? Well, there’s gonna be a lot of editing and putting the film together. I’m sure JJ’s gotta add in a lot of special effects like CGI and lens flares (ha!). I’m sure JJ has a lot of light saber effects and laser beams from all the laser guns in the film which is gonna be a lot of work. They also gotta work on the sound editing and all that stuff. Plus John Williams still have to come in to record the score for the movie (which the score is usually the last thing). I’m sure John Williams will put on a killer score for the film and also sure the main Star Wars theme song will be kept for the opening crawl. JJ’s also gotta do some final touches for the film. Tons of work left to do on it.

What will the critical reception of the film be when the film is out? It’s too early to say but I predict the film will probably get mixed reviews but hopefully not. I’m hoping all the reviews will be positive and hoping this will be the film that will make Star Wars fans happy.

I’m sure this film will have plenty of action. Will an older Luke Skywalker be in a epic light saber fight? I would absolutely think so!!! If Luke Skywalker is returning to the new Star Wars movie, fans would be disappointed if he wasn’t swinging the light saber around so I’m sure we will see Luke in action again.

Speaking of Luke Skywalker, I have noticed something about Mark Hamill. In the beginning of filming, Mark Hamill mysteriously grew a beard for the Luke Skywalker role but after the film wraps, I’ve seen that Mark Hamill shaved the beard off after looking at his recent pics so does that mean that Luke shaved the beard during the movie somewhere? Why did Luke shave the beard? So it’s looking like that the script might be about Luke gone missing. There’s gotta be a good reason that Luke grew a beard. Luke may have been held captive, ya know, held prisoner by some people so he might of grew a beard that way and when Luke got rescued, he shaved it off.

Bearded Mark Hamill during the filming of Episode 7.

Recent pic of a clean shaven Mark Hamill after the wrapping of Star Wars Episode 7.

Just making some observations here.

Once again, I hope JJ won’t let us down and hope he’ll make us happy this time. I hope it’ll be a good Star Wars film myself. JJ knows a lot about Star Wars so he seems to know what he’s doing. I’ll definitely be in the theaters for this one.

“Star Wars Episode VII” is all done filming!!!

JJ Abrams and the cast and crew of “Star Wars Episode VII” have just finished filming. Yep… they are done already. As you’ll read in this article, the cast and crew filmed the movie at three different locations: Abu Dhabi desert, the Forest of Dean and of course, Pinewood Studios in London.

After the wrapping of filming, the cast and crew decided to celebrate it at the Science Museum in London.

I hope JJ won’t let us down and once again, we deserve a good Star Wars movie after the disastrous prequels Lucas gave us. I’m glad Harrison was able to film all of his scenes without hurting himself again.

I’m sure this film will be full of epic lightsaber fights and plenty of outer space X-wing vs. Tie-fighter battles and all that stuff. It’ll hopefully be the true Star Wars movie that we all want. I’m sure JJ will give us more info about the film like what the subtitle is gonna be and the plot. I’m sure we’ll get a teaser trailer soon as well.

Congrats to Disney and JJ, looking forward to it!

Gregg Allman dismissed from Sarah Jones lawsuit…

Congrats Gregg! Now he can move on from his life, move forward and leave this behind him. I’m sure Gregg is very heartbroken and sad over Sarah’s tragic death, though. I thought it was unfair for the family to blame this on him. They have to understand that this was a freak accident. Accidental deaths happen. That’s just the way it is.

It’s a real shame that the Gregg Allman movie biopic had to come to this, though ’cause I was actually looking forward to it.

http://variety.com/2014/artisans/news/gregg-allman-open-road-dropped-from-midnight-rider-lawsuit-1201343477/

Accidental deaths while making movies is nothing new in Hollywood. It happened with Brandon Lee while making the movie, “The Crow” (which is a pretty sick movie btw, love it). That’s one example that I can think of.

Paul Reubens confirms Pee-Wee is making a big screen comeback…

Paul Reubens appeared on Jimmy Fallon last night to promote the “Pee Wee’s Playhouse” BluRay set. This is Paul Reuebens, not Pee Wee Herman on Jimmy Fallon.

Paul revealed the big news that he’s making a new Pee-Wee big screen movie with Judd Apatow producing. Paul says that a director have been hired but he’s not saying who yet. Paul says he can’t reveal anything else until the big announcement next week.

Who is gonna be the director of the new Pee Wee movie? I really hope it’s Tim Burton ’cause that would be cool if Paul and Tim re-teamed together.

What’s the story and plot gonna be about? I hope it’s not gonna be based on Pee Wee’s Playhouse. I’m hoping for a continuation of the “Big Adventure” film.

I’m glad to see Paul out of the Pee Wee character for once.
