WWE to bring their classic Ice Cream Bars back???

Last night on RAW, CM Punk delivered another classic promo in the ring once again. CM Punk is on fire the last couple of weeks. His performing in the ring is getting so good. While the current direction of the PG rating sucks, CM Punk is the best thing going right now.

Last night’s RAW, there was a first ever contract negotiation between him and Mr. McMahon in the ring last night. Story wise, McMahon wanted to bring back CM Punk full time so in order to bring back CM Punk (he was going to leave WWE with the WWE Championship belt), Punk added some extra provisions to his contract. Punk mentioned the provisions that he wanted to be in the main event at Wrestlemania, star in the movie, “The Chaperone 2” and he wanted his own merchandise. Best of all, he mentioned to McMahon that he wanted to bring back the classic WWE Ice Cream Bars.

Punk said from last night:

“(Provision) Number two, I want my face to be on everything,” Punk said to McMahon. “I want my face on the Titantron. I want my face on these turnbuckles. I want cups, posters, spoons, knives, forks, shoes, socks, I want everything with my face on it. Number one thing being I want you to bring back the WWE Ice Cream Bars.”

All this come in a rage with CM Punk because he hated seeing John Cena on everything in WWE.When CM Punk mentioned “WWE Ice Cream Bars”, the WWE crowd went wild and they gave CM Punk a standing ovation for that even though he is meant to be a heel.

So is this a hint that WWE could be bringing back the classic Ice Cream bars they use to sell at WWE live events and grocery stores? I think the Ice Cream Bars deserve to come back because with the PG rating and WWE is now popular with children, it’s a big chance that Ice Cream Bars could sell really good. Plus, they deserve to comeback so they can have the current Superstars on the ice cream bars.

While I don’t like John Cena like most people, I am liking this feud with CM Punk vs. Cena. Finally a good feud for Cena that is not boring. I’ll look for the video in youtube from last night’s segment.

Report: Dave Batista admits to not liking the PG rating in WWE…

Last year, Dave Batista left the WWE to try and pursue a career in Strikeforce. Since Dana White and Zuffa, LLC. purchased, “Strikeforce”, this forced Dave’s MMA dream to come to an end. What’s next for Dave in his professional career? Since he’s no longer doing “Strikeforce”, he said on twitter that he definitely plans on returning to the WWE in the near future. He said not at this moment. He is just taking some time off, to enjoy life for himself.

He also had something to say about the current PG direction that the WWE is going to. He says he loves the WWE, he just hates the PG thing like most of us. Here are some of Dave’s twitter rants (they’ve been creating controversy in the wrestling world)…Dave admitted he left the WWE because he didn’t like the PG rating.

“I’m the biggest wrestling fan there is..which is why I’m boycotting the PG BS! They’re selling watered down art bro. Kills me. real quick…i don’t hate the WWE! i love pro wrestling! just didn’t agree with the PG direction. i loved it edgy and hardcore. and i would definitely like to return…just not right now. im enjoying the hell out of my normal life. hope that makes sense. even though i dont agree with the direction they”ve taken, I bleed WWE. keep getting asked about a possible TNA run….and the answer is absolutely not. nothing against TNA. they”ve got some great talent. buwhich is why i’ve decided to sit it out rather than accept very generous offers from other promotions. hope everyone can respect that.”

I’m with Dave. I don’t like the PG thing too. I want the Attitude Era back. I miss the good old days of WWE when it was nothing but blood, graphic violence and sexy women that showed a lot of skin. We don’t have that anymore.

Even though I don’t care for the PG rating either, I continue to watch RAW because I still respect some of the performers. Plus there’s nothing else better to do on a Monday night. I’ll never forget the Mankind/Cactus Jack days. Those were the best days of WWE. Mick Foley made the Attitude Era for what it is.

Thought: Hulk Hogan vs. Warrior internet feud…whose side am I on?

This Warrior vs. Hogan internet feud have been creating controversy online all week. I’ll be honest, that this feud has been very entertaining and comical. I’m certainly looking forward to Warrior’s shoot video on Hogan next Friday on June 17th. Warrior may have showed small clips of it where he accused Hogan of being a wife swapper and drug user, but you haven’t seen nothing yet. When you see the full video next week, I’m sure it’ll get much worse on Hogan.

The Ultimate Warrior is not the only wrestler that hates Hogan. Many other wrestlers hate him too: Bret Hart, Iron Sheik, Honky Tonk Man, etc. Plenty of others, the list is endless. In reality, I don’t think Warrior really hates Hogan. If you look closely in Warrior’s shoot video, in his office, you can see Hogan merchandise on the shelves. So that’s a little evidence that Warrior still respects Hogan in some way. In a few of Warrior’s videos, Warrior even said a few times that he still respects Hogan.

The question is, why is the Warrior making videos trashing Hogan??? Is it jealousy? That’s what Hogan thinks. Hogan is on his twitter attacking Warrior that Warrior wouldn’t be famous without Hogan. You see, that’s not true. Another lie by Hogan and just him acting like an ego-maniac like usual. Ultimate Warrior was a famous well known wrestler way before Hogan. The Warrior already accomplished so much way before Hogan’s prime. If you need proof, read Warrior’s wikipedia. When it comes with Hogan, there is really nothing to be jealous about. So I don’t think Warrior is jealous of Hogan at all.

Hogan acts like he is the wrestling god. The superstar of all wrestling. Hogan thinks professional wrestling is all for himself and he thinks he started it all. That’s how much of an ego Hogan is. That’s why so many other wrestlers hate him.

The reason Warrior is making these videos, is that he wants to expose of how much of a lying and backstabbing piece of shit Hogan is. That sit down interview Hogan did about Macho Man Randy Savage, Hogan claims he respects Randy Savage and Warrior wants to expose the truth that Hogan doesn’t respect Randy. Hogan stabbed so many wrestlers in the back and he destroyed the legacy of many other wrestlers. Especially Bret the Hitman Hart, whose career was destroyed by Hogan in WCW.

Hogan even stabbed Vince McMahon in the back. Vince McMahon loved Hogan. Vince McMahon made Hogan for what he is. An American Hero and icon. Yet, here is Hogan in TNA attacking Vince and WWE about not having enough wrestling.

Hulk Hogan is a prick. Always has been. So yeah, I’m on the Warrior’s side all the way. Warrior won that match against Hogan at Wrestlemania 6, and I personally think Hogan is still mad at that. And Hogan threatening to sue Warrior just proves how much of a coward Hogan is.

Maybe this internet feud is real and not scripted, who knows, but it’s pretty interesting. I’m tired of Hogan still hanging around in wrestling. Nobody cares for him anymore because his time is done and it’s about time that Hogan should be destroyed. Warrior will do that job. Warrior will destroy Hulk Hogan.

I’m certainly looking forward to that video on Jun. 17th. Bring it on Warrior!

Thought: Why the Macho Man means so much to so many people…

Some of you may ask, why is the Macho Man so important? Why is he a big deal in the news? Not only he is a favorite in the wrestling industry, he is also a favorite to a lot of non-wrestling fans as well. The Macho Man is a great actor, entertainer and live performer. He is the king of making memorable catchphrases that everyone can impersonate. He can make memorable catchphrases more than any other wrestler out there. He was also a phenomenal wrestler and a great bodybuilder. He had an amazing physique. He was still in great shape even in his 50’s. He was a very lean and muscular guy.

He is an inspiration to people of all ages, from children to adults. Why? Simply because, he is a love-able person. People are interested in his image. The full bearded look, sunglasses, long hair, and bandanna. He was also funny and entertaining. People also loved the clothes he wore when he performed in the ring.

In my opinion, it was the Macho Man that made professional wrestling mainstream, not Hulk Hogan. Many wrestlers over the years became wrestlers because of Macho Man. If there was no Macho Man, there would be no Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair or the Ultimate Warrior. Randy Savage means a lot to so many people. He was a hero, not just in the wrestling industry, Randy Savage was a hero to everyone in the world.

You would see Macho Man everywhere you go. I’m also sure you would hear at least one person say, “Ooooh yeeeeeahhh”, which is the most impersonated catchphrase. Macho Man was the king of the entertainment industry. The Slim Jim commercials and made a few cameos for a few films.

Lets hope Vince McMahon will let Macho Man in the Hall of Fame next year. I still can’t believe he’s gone. I’ve been a die hard Macho Man fan, for years. He did what he did, because loved to entertain people. He liked to make people smile and laugh, that’s what he did this for. He was one of the best entertainers in the world and no one could top him ever.

He maybe gone but the wrestling industry needs to keep his legacy alive by letting him in the Hall of Fame, release more Macho Man DVD’s, action figures, etc. Anything to keep him remembered. Yes, the wrestling industry lost a lot of legendary wrestlers over the years such as Eddie Guerrero and more. Macho Man was special and he’s gonna be missed.

In his honor, I plan to watch the Macho Man 3 disc DVD set this weekend.

Report: Bret “The Hitman” Hart defends wrestling in WWE!!!

Us wrestling fans are not the only people disappointed with Vince McMahon’s moves on ignoring “wrestling” in WWE. Look else disagrees with this. That’s right, the legendary, Bret “The Hitman” Hart. Bret explains that WWE will always be wrestling no matter how much Vince chooses to ignore it.

Read more on what Bret have to say about the WWE, here.

Bret brings up some valid points. As long as the WWE still has a ring, with wrestlers doing matches in ring attire, then it’s still wrestling, no matter what you think of it. I don’t really see how Vince could call it “entertainment” because it doesn’t make any sense to me.

Even if you don’t like TNA Impact, you should still give that company credit for staying true with “wrestling” though.

Wrestling is important, so it shouldn’t be ignored.

RANT: Why TNA Impact is better than WWE…

I’ll admit that the WWE’s new direction is kind of crap. It’s getting worse. I don’t like how the WWE is ignoring wrestling and turning it into an entertainment business myself. I’ll always respect Vince McMahon and his superstars, but WWE shouldn’t be “Entertainment” for kids. The WWE started off as “wrestling” in the 80’s and early 90’s but in the 2000’s years, the company changed, big time. WWE really became childlike.

WWE doesn’t like calling their performers, “wrestlers”, they call ’em “superstars”. They don’t like calling wrestling matches, “matches”, instead they call ’em, bouts. Those are just examples of how WWE is trying to ignore wrestling completely.

A lot of fans are complaining that WWE is not wrestling anymore and that’s why a lot of them watch TNA Impact instead. It is why TNA Impact is getting more popular and bigger because fans want more “wrestling”. TNA’ s goal is not only to compete with WWE, what they are doing is that they want to give us wrestling that WWE doesn’t do anymore.

So why is TNA Impact better than WWE??? I can think of these reasons at the top of my head:

  • Wrestling – TNA’s main focus is on wrestling. Since WWE isn’t wrestling anymore, TNA vows to keep it wrestling. They are committed to giving wrestling fans what they want.
  • Better story lines – TNA has more impacting story lines than WWE, in my opinion. There is more intensity in the story lines than WWE would have came up with. Still though, the TNA story lines make true “wrestling” and staying away from the entertainment side.
  • Better main events – You don’t see John Cena and Randy Orton hogging up the main events in TNA do ya? No. That’s because TNA has a lot of main eventers over there, from AJ Styles, RVD, Sting, Ken Anderson, Kurt Angle, Matt Morgan, Samoa Joe, etc. We see different main events in TNA. It’s not always the same main events like WWE is known to having the same boring main events all the time.
  • TNA allows swearing, blood, and violence – There’s plenty of swearing, bloody matches and hardcore violence in TNA. Something that WWE would never have again.
  • Hotter women – TNA has way hotter women than WWE. More cleavage and more skin. Plus, TNA doesn’t call ’em Divas.
  • Better promos (or mic skills) – TNA wrestlers can pull off better promos and in ring speeches than WWE could ever do. All those guys are pretty amazing on the mic, I especially have been impressed with Ken Anderson lately. AJ Styles has great mic work too, same with Bully Ray.
  • Better backstage skits – You know how in WWE when a superstar is being interviewed by a WWE backstage reporter, and then they get into drama with other wrestlers? It’s not like that in TNA. TNA doesn’t do backstage interviews where they ask the wrestlers questions about what happened out there in the ring. TNA wrestlers just do their acting on camera continuing their story lines throughout the show.

I think that pretty much covers it. That’s why I watch TNA every week now because they focus on the “wrestling”. It really is sad to what WWE has become. I’ll still watch RAW and “Wrestlemania” of course, I just don’t watch WWE ppv’s too much anymore.

I think Edge was one of the first wrestlers to retire at such a young age…

Over the years of professional wrestling, when wrestlers retire from the business, most of them retire at such an old age. Many wrestlers retire around the age of 45 – 65. I’m pretty sure that Edge is the first wrestler to retire at such a young age. Edge, whose real name is, Adam Copeland, is only 37 years old. Yes, he’s surprisingly that young.

For the past year or so, Edge, keep teasing wrestling fans that a retirement is up ahead. Turns out that this is serious and real. It’s not a storyline retirement. The most iconic wrestlers are leaving us like crazy: Stone Cold, Ric Flair, Mick Foley, Shawn Michaels, etc. Triple H is also planning a future retirement. They’re all leaving us. The wrestling world.

I was never a big fan of Edge. Never cared for his wrestling and gimmick. I also thought he was kind of overrated, but I did respect him as a performer though. He did have some pretty memorable matches. I think the best match he ever did was the first “Money In the Bank” ladder match in which he won that one.

This is why the WWE keep shoving John Cena and Randy Orton in our faces, because most of the top guys are gone. There’s hardly anybody left anymore. It’s sad really.

What’s next for Edge? Will he stick around WWE but as a performer and not as a wrestler or will he move on from the wrestling business for good and start a new career? He might be another wrestler to start a full time movie career. Edge can’t wrestle anymore, he was forced to retire out of that. He’s been diagnosed with spinal stenosis, so if he continued to wrestle and if he got injured again, he could end up on a wheel chair for life. He had a long history of injuries over the years. That’s why Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold were forced to retire because of their long history of injuries. Shawn always had a problem with his back, and Stone Cold had a problem with his neck.

While WWE is fake and scripted, injuries do happen for real in professional wrestling. Accidents happen just like any other job. I think Edge should be the special guest referee for the John Cena vs. The Rock match at WM-28, that would be his perfect final appearance in WWE.

Edge had a great career with many classic moments. I wish him well in his future. In honor of Edge, check out the video below.

Report: Vince McMahon changes name for his company to WWE, taking the word “wrestling” out completely…

The WWE has changed it’s company name to, um, WWE. It will no longer be called, “World Wrestling Entertainment”.

Read more on the story, here.

While I do support WWE and wrestling, I do hate how Vince is trying to ignore “wrestling” and turning it into entertainment. As we all know, WWE started out as “wrestling” in the 80’s and 90’s, but in the 2000’s years, the company changed to strictly family “entertainment”.

This is one reason why I’m starting to watch TNA Impact, weekly because they concentrate on the “wrestling” more than the “entertainment” side. WWE is aimed toward family entertainment and TNA Impact is aimed toward the adult audience. TNA Impact is trying their best to reinvent, the “90’s attitude era” of WWE. During the 90’s of WWE, it used to be wrestling with violence, blood, sexy women and all that stuff. TNA wants to give us all that which WWE doesn’t have anymore.

I’ll admit that I am pretty hooked to TNA Impact, I find myself watching it every Thursday. TNA Impact is getting bigger and better with their storylines and wrestling. TNA will never get bigger than WWE, but they are getting pretty close. TNA have been having shows in bigger arenas and their TV ratings are going up weekly. So TNA is doing something right. Some of the storylines in TNA Impact are pretty intriguing and interesting. They do things over there that WWE could never do. I’m enjoying Ken Anderson’s feud with the guys in Immortal, Sting and RVD. TNA is having Ken Anderson feud with at least 10 wrestlers at once, and it’s almost like the whole company is on to him. Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff have took control of the company “storywise” and I’m sure Dixie Carter will get her job back somehow in a big way. I’m also enjoying Kurt Angle’s feud with Jeff Jarrett which is pretty intense stuff. While TNA tries to compete with WWE, they try to keep their storylines different than WWE. I also think AJ Styles is a phenomenal performer.

Anyhow, back to WWE, even though I still watch and don’t like their “family entertainment direction” myself, I continue to watch because I still respect their performers. It’s sad that “Attitude” is dead in WWE, I miss the old days.

10 Wrestlers who deserve a Hall of Fame Induction…

Every year for Wrestlemania, we talk wrestlers being inducted into the Hall of Fame. Take a look at this inductee list and see who’s been inducted so far.

Who else deserves a Hall of Fame nod? Who else do you think should be on there who haven’t been inducted yet?

I can think of 10 names at the top of my head…in no particular order…

  • The Undertaker – Yep, the Deadman will make his way to the Hall of Fame, hopefully next year? We all want ‘Taker to make it.
  • Jake “The Snake” Roberts – It is sad that he isn’t even inducted yet. He was one of the best characters in wrestling who used a real snake as his weapon. Amazing wrestler too.
  • “Macho Man” Randy Savage – Oooooohhhh yeeeah, the Macho Man’s time in the Hall of Fame will come, tough guy.
  • “The Ultimate Warrior” – Hopefully, the Warrior will have his time, next year?
  • Mick Foley – Famous for bringing three different characters to wrestling: Dude Love, Mankind and Cactus Jack. Famous for being thrown off a Hell in a Cell by the Undertaker and famous for being a hardcore wrestling legend. This man totally deserves a nod, how can they forget him?
  • Owen Hart – One of the best mid-card wrestlers back in his time, he was a favorite of mine. He so deserves this.
  • Chyna – Many would laugh at this choice but she deserves it, like I explained before she accomplished a lot in the women’s division, plus she is the first woman to win the IC Title belt. That’s good enough to deserve a nod right there.
  • Sable (Rena Mero) – A controversial diva who was the first to mix porn and wrestling together. The first Diva to expose her breasts on RAW, the first Diva to pose nude for Playboy. Maybe not this soon, but Sable will get a Hall of Fame nod, someday.
  • Miss Elizabeth – She maybe dead, yes, but she still deserves a Hall of Fame nod, simply because her relationship storyline with “Macho Man” Randy Savage was so legendary.
  • Scott Hall aka “Razor Ramone” – Hey yoooo, laugh if you want, but Scott Hall had too many legendary moments in wrestling, especially his well known feud with Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart and Ric Flair in the WWE. Plus, Hall accomplished so much in WCW. It was him that helped make the nWo well known. He maybe a controversial figure in professional wrestling and he may have his personal problems in life, but give this man the respect he deserves. He was a talented performer. I admired him.

I’m sure there’s plenty more, but those 10 above, I would really like in the Hall of Fame.

BREAKING NEWS: The Rock vs. John Cena confirmed for “Wrestlemania 28” main event!!!

Well, tonight’s ending to RAW came out with a huge surprise. The main event for “Wrestlemania 28” which will take place in Miami, FL is going to be John Cena vs. The Rock. The dream match that fans have been wanting to happen for years. It’s finally happening. They announced the main event a year early to help hype up WM-28 early. Pretty smart. The match we’ve all dreamed of is finally confirmed. We can all expect the Rock to win this match because “WM-28” is in his hometown of Miami. Miami is where the Rock grew up. This is really weird. A Wrestlemania main event announced a year early, this never happened before indeed. History making!

Edit to add: What’s gonna happen is that the Rock is probably going to leave WWE again for a year to go film his movies, then he’ll make another return around WM-28 happens.
