I think people are actually enjoying these, though. I may as well do an encore and play 4 more Bowie covers once the 12 songs are up. I’ll do 4 more after that.

These Bowie songs are very challenging… at least some of them can be. They are hard to sing vocally but the more practice, the more I’ll get it.

Starting my David Bowie tribute today but they will be exclusive for IGTV instead of FB Live…

For the past couple of weeks since I’ve been planning on going livestream for FB for the first time, I thought this stuff would be easy but it’s actually not. It’s all pretty complicated stuff really.

On FB, I had to install the Chrome Beta in order for Facebook Live to work on my computer. I notice that video and audio were pretty bad on my PC when testing out FB live so I switched to the old version of FB Live on FB to see how that works. Live streaming video on old version of FB Live worked well but still bad audio.

So I downloaded and installed OBS Studio and experimented with that to see if I can stream live with OBS to FB Live, I tried that and video and audio were a lot worse.

I experimented with FB live streaming on my Ipod Touch but wifi connection and speed is not that good for that kind of thing up here ’cause the router is far away.

So I thought fuck it, I’m just gonna pre-record my live performances and just upload them to IGTV now that Instagram finally lets you upload longer videos. Audio and video works fine when not “live streaming”. I know it all has to do with latency and CPU usage and all stuff but I’m not gonna go through all that hassle.

I’m just gonna make it easier for myself and just pre-record them and just upload the tribute with each song separately. I’ll upload like 2 or 3 songs a day until I reach to the 12th song. If people like what they hear and they wanna hear more Bowie covers then I’ll do more Bowie songs I haven’t learned yet.

I’ll be recording with my guitar and microphone plugged into an audio interface… that works well when not streaming live and you’ll really be able to hear me pretty good. I just think it makes it more fun to upload the pre-recorded performances on the internet and on top of that, I don’t think I’m going to get a lot of views on my live stream anyways.

I’ll start the tribute sometime later this afternoon.

Actually the PS5 console design is kind of growing on me a little bit, I probably will end up getting it but next year…

When the PS5 console design came out, I didn’t like it at first but it’s kind of growing on me a bit. I’m kind of liking it more and more but I’ll probably like it even more when I see the console with my own eyes, though. We’ll see. I probably will end up getting the PS5. Not this year but probably next year in 2021. I was afraid the PS5 will be overpriced but actually the price range of PS5 is not that bad… it’s gonna cost $400 – $500. About the same price of the PS4 when that came out. I probably will end up getting the PS5 next year, just save up some money and I’ll get one.

I probably should sell my PS4 if I’m going to upgrade to PS5, though ’cause I read that all PS4 games will be backwards compatible to PS5. Backwards compatibility on PS5 only goes back to PS4, though. It will not go back to PS1, PS2 and PS3 sadly. If you want to play older PS games on the PS5, your best bet will be you subscribing to PS NOW gaming service or you could buy older Playstation games from the Playstation Store if you want to play from PS1, PS2 and PS3.

Looks like we’ll very soon say goodbye to PS4 game releases. They’re just going to release the upcoming leftover PS4 games announced still and soon they’ll stop releasing PS4 games and will only release PS5 games in the future. It’s sad but it is what it is… that’s technology. They’ve done this with the previous consoles each time they release a new one.

I’m seeing PS5 exclusive games being announced already. Here are some of them:

So this means whenever Playstation/Sony announce Elder Scrolls VI, Grand Theft Auto VI, a Tomb Raider sequel, Metal Gear Solid, another installment to Red Dead series and another God of War installment… all those will probably get released for PS5.

Will graphics for the PS5 be much improved than PS4? Yes. Graphics of games get better and better with each console that comes out so of course.

Once again, I probably will get the PS5 but not right away, though.

I’m trying to get back into gaming this year ’cause there are so many games I have that I haven’t touched yet. Currently playing the latest “God Of War”. I’m a huge God of War fan. Played them all… love the Kratos character.

Liberals really are the most intolerant people on the planet and it’s getting worse too… thanks to Fake News Media…

Ya know something, it’s getting really boring having the left crucify conservatives just for having different opinions than they do. It’s really getting tiresome and I always blame that on the fake news media… or what we know as the mainstream media. They’re doing all they can to destroy conservatives in America… it’s all on them trying to make us seem like we’re bad people. The media is doing a good job getting the left to despise the right-wing community and it’s getting worse.

Over the past decade or so, I can’t tell you how many times I get unfriended/unfollowed/blocked by the left when I make an opinion on something politically and they didn’t like it. I make an opinion on something and they get onto me pretty hard. When it comes to social media like facebook, twitter and instagram and I follow/add a leftist person and they refuse to follow/add me back ’cause of my conservative beliefs. I can’t tell you how many times lefties unfriended/blocked/unfollowed me on social media ’cause I show my support for Trump. I’m like really?

The intolerance of the left is getting worse, though especially with all this Black Lives Matter stuff going on and the media is doing a good job getting the left to crucify us conservatives for believing in “All Lives Matter”. There’s nothing wrong with “ALL Lives Matter” and they all want to intimidate us into thinking it’s an offensive statement when all we’re doing is trying to spread positive messages. I’ve got unfollowed by a few lefties for believing in “All Lives Matter”.

Yeah, I’m a die-hard conservative… I have been for years ever since Obama became president really. It was actually Obama that got me red-pilled and yes, I’m proud to be on the right side and I won’t change for anyone.

Admittedly it’s real hard for me to be surrounded by liberals everywhere I go… even in the real world. I just hate liberalism… hate everything about it and no regrets becoming conservative. Liberals think we’re racist and bigoted when none of that is true… we are not homophobes either.

There are some liberals in my FB and instagram but at least they’re grown up enough that they accept my views even if they don’t agree with them. We do need that more in America, though. Being more acceptance… that’s the equality that we need… unity of both the left and the right. Bringing the left and the right together because this right vs. left thing isn’t healthy. It’s gotta stop. Unity can happen and we gotta figure it out somehow. It may take a long time to do and will be difficult but it can be done.

I’m getting tired of the left lashing out at me and getting on my ass just because I said something they didn’t like. This is America, we should all be able to speak our minds and express our views.

Re-booting Superman is what almost destroyed the character? They should have continued the Donner movies instead…

There are reports going around that the reason Warner Bros. aren’t interested in doing another solo Superman movie is ’cause they think a standalone Superman movie wouldn’t be successful at this time. Another reason is that JJ Abrams and his film company, Bad Robot is making a deal with Warner Bros. so he can make DC superheroes with them. While JJ is a huge Superman fan himself, he’s not interested in making a Superman film and he’s probably more interested in making DC films of other superheroes in the DC world.

If J.J. were to get on board to direct a Superman film himself, it’ll be totally different and would have a totally different cast. They’d cast who they want.

As far as the thought of Henry Cavill solo Superman movie would not be successful as of this time, I wanna know what drugs WB’s using? Both “Man of Steel” and “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” were box office hits despite mixed reviews of both of those films. Maybe that is what WB’s is really trying to avoid… the next Superman solo movie getting mostly mixed reviews like usual.

In my opinion, though, I thought “Man of Steel” was an amazing film. I thought it was well done and I was impressed with “Dawn of Justice” as well. I loved both of them.

Anyhow, I always preferred the Donner/Christopher Reeve styled Superman movies more. When Christopher Nolan announced that he was planning a Superman movie, he said he didn’t want to direct it and Nolan and Warner Bros’s ended up getting Zack Snyder for the job. Zack didn’t want a Donner/Reeve styled Superman movie at all and wanted a complete reboot.

Will WB’s ever go back to the Donner/Reeve styled Superman ever at all? They did that with “Superman: Returns” directed by Bryan Singer which was great and a sequel to “Superman: Returns” was gonna happen but WB’s ended up rebooting Superman instead.

I think WB’s doing another Donner/Reeve styled Superman film could work and that’s what everybody wants to see more to be honest. People want the old suit back and they want to hear the John Williams theme again. I think they could pull it off if they give it a chance. Do another movie, make a continuation of the original Reeve Superman films, know what I mean?

I think it’s a mistake that WB’s and DC no longer interested in making Superman solo movies anymore ’cause Superman is king. They need to keep making Superman movies.

Yeah, I understand how WB’s being frustrated ’cause making a good Superman movie is tough… they can be hard stories to tell and tough to get right.

I think a prequel to Donner’s “Superman: The Movie” is a nice idea too, though. How about a whole movie taken place on Krypton and a movie about the life of Jor-el? I’d like that too.

Just don’t ignore Superman, it’s crazy.

Playstation 5 console design is finally out…

For a long time now, there were talks of a Playstation 5 coming out soon when the PS4 just came out not too long ago. PS5 is already on its way. Well Sony did a live stream to unveil the new PS5 console design which we have never seen before. I must say that Sony did a pretty good job of keeping the new design from getting leaked on the internet beforehand?

Sony/Playstation already unveiled the new look of the controllers but they haven’t yet showed off the console itself. Well here it is.

Well… the Playstation over the years have always been black. They finally had it with the black design and they wanted to mix it with white and black? It’s a mostly a white design now with some black color still kept.

To be honest, I’m not too thrilled with the new console design and I’m not too thrilled with the new controllers either. With each game console gets released, they always try to make the new one “futuristic” looking.

This design looks like it came from a sci-fi movie or something like “2001: A Space Oddysey” or maybe Star Trek.

Will I buy the PS5? Yes, someday I probably will but I’m gonna wait until the price drops some. That’s what I did with the PS4. With every new game console that comes out, they always sell very expensive at first but when sales go down, that’s when the price goes down.

I’m a big video gamer myself. Have been all my life… of course, my first game console was the Atari. I’ve always been big into gaming whether a video game console and I used to be a hardcore PC gamer too. Now I’m a full time Playstation guy. I prefer Playstation anyways.

Yeah, I’m in my 40’s now and I still play video games. It’s one of my favorite hobbies. A great way to relax when you’re not in the gym and not playing music. Video games are also a great way to escape from everything.

Does Vince McMahon owner of WWE gives autographs to fans??? No, he has never been that type…

In a podcast with wrestling personality, Arn Anderson, he was doing a Q&A episode with fans and one fan sent in a question asking Arn if Vince himself the owner of WWE signs autographs for fans. Arn says that “No”… Vince does not give autographs to fans ’cause he simply doesn’t have the time being the workhorse that Vince is. Arn says that he has never seen Vince give autographs and probably will never happen.

Vince is a very busy guy. He doesn’t have time to meet other WWE fans… although I’m sure he does meet occasional fans when out and about. You’ll just never get an autograph from him… you’ll probably just get a “hello” or a “handshake” from him and that’s about it.

Vince really is a busy man… he totally focus’s on most of his life through WWE. That’s all he spends his life on. You’ll never see him take a break and Vince is a weightlifter/bodybuilder himself and he workouts like 3 or 4 in the morning… he does that every morning. I remember Triple H saying Vince does that and now Arn is saying the same thing. Vince keeps busy, he doesn’t sleep much.

A lot of people want to hate on Vince but I don’t know why. He always had my utmost respect. He’s the one that gave us all this… professional wrestling. You may not like his booking and creative style when it comes to TV but the man is still a genius. Vince was a great performer himself when he was evil Mr. McMahon in the Attitude and Ruthless Aggression eras.

As far as Vince not caring to meet fans, maybe he just doesn’t care about the fame and just wants to work? I’m sure he’s flattered that people love him, though. He probably just wants the fans to love the superstars that he gives us… maybe that’s another reason… doesn’t need to hog their spotlight.

Happy birthday to Michael J. Fox, yes, he is a die-hard leftist but still one of my favorite actors…

Yeah, yeah, yeah, Michael J. Fox is a die-hard leftist just like the rest of liberal Hollywood but he’s still freakin’ awesome and I can still be a fan of his movies and not like his politics.

I grew up watching M.J. Fox films especially films like the “Back to the Future” trilogy and “Teen Wolf” which are the two films that made him a star. He made plenty of other great films in the 80’s and 90’s like “The Secret of My Success”, “Poison Ivy”, “The Frighteners”, “Doc Hollywood”, “Casualties of War”, “Bright Lights, Big City”, “Mars Attacks” and of course his sitcom series, “Family Ties”. I grew up watching all of that. So M.J. Fox’s career was definitely special in my life and I am a fan.

Of course, Michael’s film career took a major setback when it was discovered he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 1991. I read that Fox started getting Parkinson’s while filming the movie, “Doc Hollywood”.

For this reason, he was forced to retire from acting but not completely, he still works occasionally. He just doesn’t do leading roles in blockbuster films anymore like he used to. From what I’m seeing, he does voice over stuff for animated films, documentaries and makes lots of cameos of different TV shows.

Another thing I admire the hell out of M.J. Fox is that he is a real life guitar player and he still plays. There are plenty of videos of him playing with bands mostly jamming on Chuck Berry’s “Johnny B. Goode”. Fox can really play that song.

I don’t agree with his politics and don’t have to but he’s still a great man. He maybe still suffering Parkinson’s Disease but the man is still alive and well. It hasn’t killed him yet. Happy birthday, Mike!!!

While Democrats and the media seems to have backed off on the coronavirus, the country is still on lockdown but it’s slowly starting to open up. A lot more restaurants are starting to open but “take out” only. Some retail stores are starting to open like Best Buy but curbside orders only. Which is all dumb.

I won’t be able to do anymore indoor shopping like at the malls, Best Buy, etc. for a long while, I guess.

Barbershops and hair salons are back open, though and I’m gonna find a place in my hometown of Greenwich where I can get a haircut ’cause I need one pretty badly, lol. It’s by appointment only, though and masks required which is also dumb.

Anyhow, stuff I ordered from amazon yesterday:

BluRay movies:

The Mule (A Clint Eastwood directed film in which he also stars in), Richard Jewell (another Eastwood directed movie but doesn’t star in) and “Birds of Prey” (the Harley Quinn spin-off movie).

I only bought 3 BluRay movies which should be coming this month.

Then I bought four more books for my Ipad… 3 Star Wars books by Timothy Zhan, the rest of the Thrawn Trilogy (2 and 3) and “Star Wars: Thrawn” also by Timothy Zhan. I’m not a big Star Wars books reader but I thought I would get into them finally. I’ve already read the Thrawn Trilogy books before a long time ago but I want to read them again. The “Star Wars: Thrawn” book is another Thrawn story that chronicles his life. I don’t read Star Wars books much but Timothy Zhan books are great.

I also picked up “Battlefield Earth” by L. Ron Hubbard. Yeah, L. Ron Hubbard is a Scientology guy but it don’t matter, “BattleField Earth” is a great book. Read it before when I was young, read the whole thing and it’s one of the greatest science fiction novels I’ve ever read. I’ll have to agree with everyone that the movie version with John Travolta stunk so much, though.

I also had to get a 12 month digital code subscription card to Playstation Plus since my subscription ran out so I renewed it by using amazon. Haven’t been playing video games much lately but gonna get back into it and trying to.

I’m starting to do more online shopping which I haven’t done much of in the past. I was never much of an online shopper but this lockdown thing, can’t help yourselves. Still stuck at home with no gym. I’d like to find an actual job soon, though if lucky enough.
