Actually, could it be the Rock vs. Brock Lesnar at WM-29???

Another prediction I have for this Sunday’s, Rumble PPV, is that Brock Lesnar could be a surprise entrant in the 30 Man Rumble, and he could win the whole thing so he can headline Wrestlemania. The Rock will probably end up winning the title from Punk, but it probably won’t be a long title run. Lesnar will probably take it from the Rock at this year’s, ‘Mania. The Rock vs. Lesnar headlined a Wrestlemania years ago before and it could be Rock vs. Lesnar II this year. Which will be good ’cause I’m tired of Cena in the main event spotlight at ‘Mania every year. I probably will end up watching the Rumble this Sunday. Even though, I gave up watching WWE ppv’s, I still watch the two big ones yearly: “Royal Rumble”, and “Wrestlemania”.

Even though, I still don’t like WWE’s current direction, I still respect the performers and still am a wrestling fan.

WWE doesn’t use Lesnar that much, but I think he will make an appearance at the Rumble this Sunday.

Yes, pretty much 90% of talent in today’s industry, basically have no talent, it’s all “image”…

It’s pretty cool that people are finally getting the realization that Beyonce can’t really sing. I mean, are you that surprised? I’ll say that again? Beyonce is not the first one to get caught lip syncing. NEWS FLASH: EVERYONE IN THE MAJOR LABELS LIP SYNCS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, that includes rock bands who play instruments. Rock bands with instruments can fake play along with a prerecording. Oh man, I’ll never forget the time when Springsteen and the E-Street band were caught playing along to prerecorded music, at the Superbowl Halftime show. Bruce really sang that night, but the band really wasn’t playing.

There are only very few bands & artists out there that can sing and play instruments for real. It’s not just Beyonce about faking things, all of them. I’m pretty sure that most bands & artists have no real experience with music. You have the looks & the image, you’ll get signed. Manufactured. The industry will turn people like you into rich & famous artists. The industry is pretty secretive about lip syncers. To have talent, you have to be a good lip syncer so you won’t get caught doing it or people won’t notice you doing it. The artist usually fails at lip syncing ’cause we can immediately tell if they are.

When will the music industry be exposed for cashing in on fake talent?

This is why it is cool to stay unsigned and still be a local musician ’cause we don’t fake anything.

Why the Rock won’t (or shouldn’t) take the belt from CM Punk at the Royal Rumble this Sunday…

So the Royal Rumble ppv is this Sunday, which is the beginning of the road to Wrestlemania. Will I watch this Sunday’s Royal Rumble? Not sure. Probably not. I usually watch the Royal Rumble every year too. Why? Simply because I don’t like WWE ppv’s anymore. When I try to watch one, they aren’t as exciting and fun anymore as they used to be. Maybe it’s the PG era, I don’t know… but the main reason, I’m not going to watch it is that it will be too predictable. John Cena will probably end up winning the 30 Man Rumble match up ’cause he’s probably gonna main event Wrestlemania like every year.

The Rock is set for a title match against CM Punk, a match before the 30 Rumble match. CM Punk has had a long title reign. More than 430 days, I think. Punk has been WWE Champ for more than a year, I believe. Punk has this gimmick where think he’s the “Best In the World” ’cause he’s WWE Champ and all the things he has accomplished in wrestling from the past, so he thinks he deserves more respect from people since he’s considered a heel right now. The Rock shouldn’t be the one to take the title from Punk. Why? For a few reasons: 1) It will make Punk’s “Best In the World” gimmick look weak and we can’t have that 2) The Rock is not around WWE that much, he has all kinds of movie projects coming up and he’s already been champion like 16 times. We don’t need to give the belt to the Rock again. The Rock already accomplished so many things and he doesn’t need another title run. Punk should retain. I think the main event at ‘Mania should be Punk vs. Cena. I certainly don’t want the Rock vs. Cena again, we already had that last year.

Of course, it wouldn’t surprise me that the Rock will be winning the title, anyway, and go against Cena at Wrestlemania.

I don’t like the way WWE is going today, but I still respect and love all the performers, though. I just want a better product and want them to bring back good wrestling. RAW hasn’t been good the last several weeks. Some of the writing of the shows, just make me want to puke. Especially the lame Daniel Bryan and Kane team up, so lame.

Wrestling is indeed, no longer the same anymore, it’s really sad. Wrestling used to be amazing back in the earlier days, but it’s gone down to shit. What happened?

The only positive I have about today’s WWE, is that Ryback is an awesome character. I keep watching ’cause of that guy. He’s got a resemblance to Goldberg. Ryback is a badass, look him up if you don’t know who he is. If we had the Attitude era today, Ryback would be even more of a badass. He’s a great wrestling character.

Back to the Rock, I like the guy and all, but he doesn’t need to go back to wrestling. He should concentrate on his movie career and let the younger wrestlers get their chance at the spotlight.

Response to blog criticism…

I’m going to say this just once. You don’t like me deleting comments or closing them? I don’t freakin’ care!!! You don’t like some of the topics I post, find some offensive or if you disagree with some topics? I don’t FREAKING CARE!!!! You guys can defend yourselves with your responses on politics or whatever on here, I will always stand by the things I say. I won’t retract things. My thoughts on President Obama will always stay the same. I’ve said it before and will say it again, I’m the type of blogger who doesn’t give a SHIT! I’m not afraid to speak my mind. I’m not afraid to get the truth out. No matter how many people gets pissed off or go crazy. What you don’t have the right to do is come here and tell me what is right or wrong to post.

And like I said, if you don’t like me or my site, why do you continue to read? I don’t allow trolls or haters here. They’re not welcome. They can talk shit about me else where,  but not here.

If I want to be negative, I will. If I want to go on an angry and hate-filled rant, I will.

But… as long as I’m getting people to respond, it’s letting me know that I’m doing the right things and people are paying attention. I started a blog years ago so I can have my own home online where I can speak my mind. I’m not afraid to speak my mind. As you can tell, I’m not afraid to say things that others are afraid to say. If it’s on my mind, it’s gonna be said.

As for my rants against President Obama, I’ll explain in another post, why I’ve been all over him. I’ll explain soon, so people can get a better understanding of where I’m coming from. I do this for a good reason, and why other anti-Obama people are all over him… but to keep it short and simple for now, we just want what’s best for this country, and we are believing that some folks has gotten the wrong idea about Obama and trusting the wrong man. We just want what’s best for the people. Trying to give people a reality check on who Obama really is, that they shouldn’t really be believing in. That’s all! Simple to understand, right? I guess I don’t have to do a long post about it now.

Back to my blogging, I don’t freakin’ care to get respect either. Love me or hate me, I’m good with either one. I know I can be disliked pretty easy, and that’s okay. I’m just being me ’cause there’s no crime in that, right? It’s actually a pretty good feeling to get mixed reactions with my web presence. I don’t have to please every single person out there, just to satisfy them.

It’s amazing to me how people don’t have common courtesy at public gyms…

No offense to people who go to public gyms, all of this is just my opinion. Well, there’s a lot of truth to it too, honestly, that people have no respect when they go to a public gym. Keep in mind that a gym is a public place. Which means, it’s for everyone. It’s not for you to make at home with and treat it how you want. I mean, here are the craziest things, I’ve seen people do at gyms.

  • Not putting weights back
  • Hogging equipment
  • Asking to use a piece of equipment you’re on when you’re not done
  • Dropping weights to the floor whether by accident or on purpose
  • Slamming dumbbells on the shelves, when returning them

I can go on with the list. The thing that annoys me the most are guys dropping weights or slamming them on the shelves. These things are against the rules at the Greenwich Y but people don’t have a care to follow them. I understand the reason guys drop dumbbells because you have exhausted the muscle on the final rep and can no longer hold the weight, but if the weights are heavy, that’s what spotters are for. Get a spotter even with dumbbell workouts and he can lower the weights safely and carefully for you.

On top of that, I don’t see any reason why guys feel the need to drop weights or slam them on the shelves. I lift heavy dumbbells all the time, and I never drop them. I carefully lower them and set them on the floor slowly. It’s not that hard to do. Like I said before, a long time ago, guys feel the need to drop weights or slam them on the shelves ’cause it’s their ego. Period. End of story. They want to feel tough doing it ’cause they’re muscular.

Why do I think dropping weights or slamming them is bad? Well for starters, they create a distraction with other people working out in a gym. You could other injure yourself and other people. Those are why I think, it’s wrong.

Also, another thing that annoys the hell out of me is when I’m working on a piece of equipment, someone will come up and ask to jump in on a set. That happens to me sometimes. When I’m resting between a set, sometimes guys will come up to me and ask if they can jump in. They do politely ask, but it’s still a rude thing to do, in my opinion. Want to know what that tells me when guys do this? It’s like, “Hi, I’m a bodybuilder too, and I want to show off that I can lift heavier than you and I’m stronger than you”.

Leave your ego at the door.

This is why I like to go to the gym late in the afternoon, when the place is usually slow, so I don’t have to deal with this shit.

On top of that, I don’t go to the gym too much anymore. I go like once or twice a week now. I do most of my workouts at home. The only time I go to a public gym is when I need to do legs or back stuff. Chest and tricep stuff, you can do at home.

Why is it such a surprise Beyonce lip synced the National Anthem at Obama’s inaugural???

The internet seems to be pretty shocked when it was confirmed that Beyonce lip synched the National Anthem at Barack’s inaugural, the other day. My question is, why are people surprised? She’s going to lip synch the Superbowl performance too. That’s one of the things that frustrates me about today’s music industry. Most of it is fake and manufactured. Like I said about “image” in music, it’s the “image” that makes people rich & famous, not their actual musical talent. Most pop stars today can’t sing in real life. In the studio, it’s either they hire a ghost singer or it’s all auto-tuned recording. This is not just for pop stars. Pretty much all genres of music fake their talents, and that includes rock & metal.

It is nice to see that people are finally starting to get the hint about today’s industry, though. It’s one big fake world.

There are so many local bands and unsigned talent who are so desperate for fame & fortune, my question is, why? I don’t support national music too much anymore. Once in a blue moon, I’ll buy an album under a major label, but that only happens like several times a year. Not too much. I don’t like the way today’s industry is going.

Obama’s inauguration….

I’ve been watching the Obama inauguration all day. In facebook there are mixed opinions on Obama’s 2nd term. All the Obama lovers welcome his 2nd term and think he’ll do a better job, and of course, the other half, are the anti-Obama people who think Obama will make our country much worse. I’m still on the anti-Obama side. When I looked at Obama being inaugurated today for his second term, I think to myself, “Now, there’s a guy who shouldn’t be up there. He needs an impeachment!”

Sure enough, the Obama lovers would defend him.

Obama did so many bad things that hurt America. Why does he deserve an impeachment? The list is too long… “Operation: Fast and Furious”, Benghazi, he could be a possible immigrant, and I can go on all day. There are too many things that Obama supporters don’t know about and they seem to ignore all the evil things Obama did in the past. The best defense they can come up with, “Is Bush any better?”

It’s not about who’s better or who’s worse. Any president that does bad things in their presidency, doesn’t deserve to be in office. I want a good president in office. Someone that we can trust and do their jobs right and we haven’t had a good president in years. Reagan was lousy. Kennedy was lousy. Clinton was lousy. Even George H.W. Bush (W’s father) was lousy too. Each one of them has put this country to shame.

Obama is a guy we can’t trust. A guy who has gotten away with so much things. And here he is, in D.C. getting inaugurated.

His speech today was laughable too. It’s not equal opportunity, when he’s going to take our gun rights away and infringe the constitution when he swore in to defend it today. The man is a liar, and untrustworthy. He shouldn’t be out there in D.C. today, when he should be exposed for the tyrant that he really is.

Christopher Nolan, is a great film maker but…

… to be honest, I wish Christopher Nolan would go back to his old school way of making movies. Making movies in the style of chronological order. Meaning, movies being played in a different order. Over the weekend I just watched his film, “Following”, which was his debut film. The film was a little over an hour long, it’s very short and it was filmed in black and white. Still though, I thought the film was pretty amazing and thought that was his best film in his career. Check it out if you haven’t yet. I like Chris’s way of telling stories chronological. That technique is what made him famous and well known to begin with. Sure enough, after “Following” and “Memento”, Chris went on to directing blockbuster action movies like the Dark Knight Trilogy and Inception.

It’s going to be interesting to see what Chris is planning to do after the Dark Knight. He hasn’t announced a new project yet. Chris Nolan has always been my favorite film maker for a long time now. I hope he doesn’t get too obsessed with blockbuster action movies, I want him to go back to making serious films like he did with “Memento”. Don’t get me wrong, what he did to the Dark Knight Trilogy and Inception was pretty amazing, you just need to see that Chris is more than just superhero movies. Chris is one of the best film makers alive today and I’m sure he will make plenty more amazing movies, in the future.

You should check out “Following”,  on Netflix. If you watch movies like “Following” and “Memento”, you would see exactly why he got the job to direct the Batman movies. Christopher Nolan is a genius. He’s not afraid to get what he wants when film making and he’s a master screen writer too. I’ve seen all of his directed movies, even “Insomnia” and “The Prestige”. Honestly though, I really wish he would make a few more Batman movies like everyone else ’cause I want to see his take on the Riddler and the Penguin, but Chris wants to move on from Batman and do other things. I just felt the Dark Knight trilogy ended too soon, and there’s more of a story to be told.

Seriously, STOP coming here just to be assholes, I’ve about had it…

Really, what is wrong with my posts? This blog just for fun discussion and to be opinionated on things. That is how my blogs have always been over the years. I like be a critic and be real about stuff. I like to give reviews on stuff. It’s pretty pointless for me to be blogging to begin with ’cause I really should be focusing on the music, which is what I’ll be mostly doing this year. It is why this blog is slowing down. Making 1 or 2 posts a day or a little more ’cause I spend most of my day on the guitar. If you want the comments posted or kept open, keep the discussions civilized. If you can’t do that, then find another blog to pick on. This is a troll free zone.

What part of “shall not be infringed”, don’t the government understand???

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

If you decide to ban weapons or make new laws to make gun purchasing tougher, then you’re infringing the 2nd Amendment rights. Congratulations to the people in Albany, who are rallying about the Constitutional rights. I wish I was there. Disarming the American people will make the criminals happy. They’ll know that we have nothing to protect ourselves with. Don’t be surprised if another major mass shooting happens again, in the near future. Since people are rallying in Albany, people could start rallying in Washington D.C., anytime.

I understand how some people are anti-gun. Guns aren’t for everyone, but the 2nd Amendment is there for a reason. No matter how many mass shootings or gun violence happen in the US, you can’t disrespect the 2nd Amendment, just because you don’t agree with it.
