Should transgenders be allowed to compete in powerlifting? No definitely not…

There’s an interesting debate in the powerlifting community on the internet that blew up this week. The story going around that trans-woman (or man, whatever this person is), JayCee Cooper tried to register for USAPL in hopes of competing in their meets but his registration was denied by USAPL simply because he’s a transgender woman or a man pretending to be a “woman”. Sorry, I’m calling this person what he really is.

Of course, there are some mixed opinions on this. There are some that agree that transgenders shouldn’t be allowed to participate in powerlifting competitions and there are some that think they should be allowed. From w hat I’m seeing, it’s mostly die-hard liberals, feminists and the LGBT community opposing USAPL on banning transgenders.

Predictably, these liberals, feminists and LGBT people are trying all they can to destroy the USAPL’s reputation by accusing them of changing the rules after this Jaycee Cooper complained.

Whenever someone wants to side with USAPL on their decision to ban transgenders, the hardcore left will slam them for it. They tell the truth that competitors should compete in their own genders that they were originally born as, these leftists would attack them and defend the transgenders.

Read these articles to see what’s going on:

http://www.citypages.com/news/powerlifting-federation-doubles-down-on-policy-excluding-trans-women/505092342

http://www.citypages.com/news/minneapolis-powerlifter-told-she-cant-compete-because-shes-trans/505041582

I think USAPL did a smart move. I’m totally siding with them. Why would you want to have a man pretending to be a woman competing in a powerlifting meet? It’s fuckin’ silly if you ask me. There’s a pretty good reason why there are “men” and “women’s” divisions to keep genders separate. A man in the women’s division lifting way heavier weights than the rest of the women, that would be unfair for the other women in the division and it would make all the male competitors look bad. Seriously, why would you want to see a muscled up men in a women’s singlet, wearing make-up lifting heavier weights than everyone else? A man winning all the top awards in the women’s division would be unfair and it’s totally cheating for sure. That’s why USAPL are against this. They are smart and finally some common sense for once.

If you’re a man pretending to be a woman, that’s fine. That is your business, NOT mine but when you want to come in a powerlifting meet and compete in the women’s division that’s a problem. How silly would it be when most women in the powerlifting meets can only bench like 200 lbs or a little over and then you have a transgender woman benching over 500 lbs?

I really hope the USAPL sticks to their guns and doesn’t cave into the leftist and LGBT community. The LGBT community are going to fight this pretty hard and they already are ’cause there is an online petition going around hoping to get them to lift this ban.

I was thinking about registering to the USAPL pretty soon so I can compete in their local meets myself and I probably will but if they cave to the pc police then I might change my mind. Die-hard leftists want to ruin everything for everyone nowadays.

Reasons why you shouldn’t test your 1 rep maxes on the big three lifts each time you hit the gym…

One biggest mistake I made in powerlifting training is maxing out too often. I was told by another experienced powerlifter that maxing out every week is bad. I’ve been doing a lot of reading on how often you should max out is that you should max out on the big three lifts for once like every 6  – 12 weeks. What powerlifters do is that they train for reps. for a long while and then they’ll pick a p.r. day for the big three lifts sometime later. That’s how they prepare for powerlifting meets.

You don’t want to do a one rep max every week for a few reasons:

  • Could lead to some pretty serious injuries or worse could lead to death.
  • Lifting heavy one rep maxes every week fires up your CNS (Central Nervous System) which isn’t good.
  • Makes you more weaker and more fatigue. If you wonder why your pr’s either have gone down or stays the same each week this is why. You want your pr’s to keep going up, not going down or staying the same.

I’ve been noticing that the reason why my pr’s haven’t been going up is probably ’cause I was maxing out too often… every week I hit the gym. Not good. I’m not going to max out on the big three lifts for a while. I’ll max out again like maybe in a few weeks. For now, I’ll continue to train for strength until I max out again in a few weeks to find out what my pr’s are.

I only hit a 300 lb. deadlift once and I’m hoping to hit that number again. That’s the number that I plan to hit at my next powerlifting meet at Albany Strength at the end of March. If I want to achieve that goal then I need to max out less and less and I plan to do exactly that… right away… starting now. Before that meet at the end of March, I’ll probably only max out the big three lifts once and that it.

I’ve learned how to “peak” and “taper” before a meet. It’s what powerlifters do so they can lose more fatigue before a meet. I want to be at my best at this next meet. Before the next meet, I don’t want to be all beat up and worn out so I’ll probably end up taking a full week off of the gym on meet week so I can be all rested up and ready to go.

I’m hoping to deadlift 300 lbs. or a little more at the next meet. I want to go all in and put on a fucking show so I need to come up with a plan so I can be ready. Uggghh, man I hope I can deadlift 300 lbs. again ’cause when I did it that one time, it felt awesome. I want to pull that lift at the meet so I can impress people and blow people away.

When will I max out and test my pr on the big three lifts again? Probably sometime next month, in the middle of February. After that I’m not gonna max out again until meet day. I want to give myself plenty of time so I can lose fatigue and all that stuff. Be full of energy on meet day and just go in there and smoke it.

I’ve done two powerlifting meets and both of them were a blast. I’m getting excited for the next one too. Powerlifting is a lot of fun and lifting heavy things can get quite addicting. I can see why the sport is getting so popular and the sport keeps getting bigger and bigger.

Liberals are making it less and less enjoyable to live in NY State… it almost makes me want to move out…

I’ve always loved to live in New York State ’cause I’ve been a New Yorker my whole life. I used to be proud to be a New Yorker but now I’m beginning to feel ashamed of it. I don’t want to live in a state that is very high taxed and I don’t want to live in a state where the economy still sucks. Yes, the US economy has improved greatly but there are some states in the US that has a bad economy still and NY State is one of them.

I also don’t want to live in a state that GLORIFIES abortion ’cause I’m a pro-life guy and proud of that. I’m totally against abortion and hate everything it stands for. The new NY Abortion law is pretty scary stuff.

I also don’t want to live in a state that wants to make this state a haven for illegal aliens and they’re trying to do that. It is really sickening that gov. politicians and officials wants to put illegals first before Americans. That’s a real problem in NY State and I don’t like it at all. Not only Gov. Cuomo has a huge hard on for illegals, the Mayor of Albany does too and most local Democrat politicians around this area.

Liberalism is a cancer. When will people wake up that liberalism is hurting the country? It’s getting worse too. Liberal politicians are trying to turn NY State into a socialist state and already doing a good job of that. No doubt that NY Government is corrupt to the core. If you think Washington D.C. and Capitol Hill is bad, NY Government is much worse. NY Government is corrupt to the core from top to bottom. Liberalism is horrible all across the country but it’s worse here in NY.

In NY State, there are liberals everywhere. My hometown of Greenwich is a pretty liberal town and you’re not going to see much conservative/Republican people around. Liberalism sucks. I’m so glad that I don’t consider myself a liberal ’cause I’m way smarter than that. Why would full grown men want to be a liberal is what I’m wondering?

NY State really needs a turn around for sure. We need to drain the swamp here pretty badly ’cause there are awful politicians and officials all over the State. I may have grown up my whole life here in NY but I’m not afraid to say that I almost want to move out of NY. What I’m seeing here lately is disgusting.

I’m a newbie in powerlifting… trying to educate myself the best I can with the sport…

Since I’m pretty new to powerlifting, I’m trying the best I can to get myself educated with the sport. Trying to learn all the rules, learn all the commands, learn how to build more strength with the big three lifts, learn how to prepare for powerlifting and all that stuff. I’ve been doing so much reading about powerlifting competitions through google and been watching a lot of youtube videos about powerlifting too. I figure if I’m going to consider myself to be a competitive powerlifter full time, I better learn about the sport as much as possible. I’m very new to the sport and I have a lot to learn still. It is all interesting stuff, though.

While I seem to be better in deadlifts than squat and bench, I’m realizing that getting strength will take some time. There are no secret magic tricks to build super-human strength right away. If you want to know why all the great powerlifters are able to lift over 500 lbs. on all three lifts is ’cause they’ve been doing this for a long time. I’ve been lifting weights for a pretty long time myself but I never saw myself as a powerlifter, though. I always saw myself as a bodybuilder type of lifter. I never even thought about becoming a powerlifter until now.

Yes, my squats and bench needs some work but I’m working on both of those every week. I know I’m getting slightly stronger on those two workouts every week the more I keep doing it ’cause my pr’s slowly go up.

I’ve learned that you don’t want to do powerlifting meets all by yourself. You gotta have people with you. I don’t know if I’ll ever do a powerlifting meet alone ’cause I’ll need coaches and people to guide me and stuff. I’ll need people to cheer me on and motivate me to push harder, ya know?

I want to become a great powerlifter and improve but it’ll take a few years. To get more strength, you gotta lift the heavier weights between 3 – 5 reps. That’s how I’ve been doing it really. I can lift over 200 lbs. in deadlifts but that’s my goal for squats and bench too. I want to lift over 200 lbs. on squats and deadlift but that’s gonna take more time. I can reach the 200 lbs. goal this year if lucky enough. Just gotta stay consistent. Keep going and not give up.

I can’t lift over 500 lbs. yet on all three lifts deadlift, squats and bench but I’ll get there someday, though. I’m just not gonna rush and take my slow time. I never used to want to do barbell work but now I’m loving it all. I love benching and squats now. It took a while for them to grow on me.

Powerlifting is a great sport and I’m loving it. Yeah, some people in the sport are going to be egotistical, arrogant and cocky but you just never mind them and only concentrate on you. That’s the attitude that I’m going to have. Just focus on me and be the best I can be in powerlifting. I want to be great someday and don’t wanna mess it up. I’m doing good already but still have plenty of work to do. I’m just getting started.

No Trump didn’t “cave” to Chuck and Nancy, he’s just being a strategic genius like usual… just watch…

Man, people on both sides of the spectrum are so dumb. Seriously.

Some of you probably wanna know what my thoughts are on this. Yesterday, President Trump delivered another major announcement at the White House announcing that the Government is back open… for now anyways. The Gov. will be open until Feb. 15th which is just three weeks away. Gov. is open for “three weeks” but yet all you see is everyone going, “Oh no, Trump caved to Chucky/Nancy and the Democrats”. The left feels victorious and many on the right are upset that they feel Trump “caved”.

Well nobody “caved” and nobody “won”. If you listen to the actual speech like I did and he gave a great speech like always, Trump is only reopening the government to help those Federal workers that were really hurting during the shutdown and plus, this is just Trump’s way of giving the Democrats some time to negotiate with Trump on the deal of border security. This is just Trump being the strategic genius he is like always. This is Trump playing his usual game of chess like he is always good at. It’s like this, “You got three weeks to negotiate with me, if not the government goes back down or I could use my presidential powers to do something about it myself”. That’s what Trump is doing. He’s playing mind games with Chuck and Nancy. Trump is putting the pressure on them and in order to keep the government open, the Dems will cave in to Trump instead. That’s how this is going.

Chuck and Nancy have been saying for a long while now that they’ll negotiate with Trump about the wall once the government is open. Now that the government is open lets see if Chuck and Nancy will negotiate with Trump now. If not then Trump will either shut the gov. down or he will use his constitutional powers to do something about it himself like “declare national emergency” or something like that.

It’s really simple to understand but nope. All the liberals and Fake Trump supporters are bashing him over this.

Apparently, the Trump base is still divided. The Fake Base vs. Real Base is still a problem. Ya know, “Fake Trumpers”… people pretending to support Trump publicly but all they’re doing is criticizing him and bashing him all the time. When you call them out on it, they say things like “I”m a free thinking Trump supporter” and say things like, “I don’t have to agree with him on everything”. If what you say is true then get off the Trump Train. It’s not that hard to admit that you don’t like him but many of these “Fake Trumpers” are afraid to admit it. They won’t admit publicly that they hate Trump but they claim to be a supporter and always bashing him all the time. I don’t understand it.

I’ll have to say though that those “Fake Trumpers” are nothing but a bunch of assholes. They’ll bash you for supporting Trump 100% and they act like liberal snowflakes. I’m noticing on twitter and facebook, the fake Trumpers have been blocking the real Trumpers. Quite sad really and I don’t like it.

This is nothing new with the Fake Trumpers, though. Always flip flopping on Trump. Give it time. They’ll get back on the Trump Train once they realize they were wrong again. They think Trump caved but he didn’t at all. The gov. will be open for only 3 weeks and already people are freaking out.

Take a chill pill, y’all. It’s gonna be okay. Trust Trump. He’s got this and he knows what he’s doing. Being the strategic master that he usually is. Trump will get that budget he needs from Democrats and like I said above, the Democrats will “cave” to him instead. Just watch. I know my prediction is gonna be right. To all the liberals feeling “victorious” over this, don’t get too excited yet. It’s not over until we get that wall. Not by a long shot.

More on testing out my 1 rep max in powerlifting…

I was just doing some googling on how often you should test out your 1 rep maxes in the gym and come across this great paragraph from the article below:

And don’t try for a new one-rep max every time you hit the gym. Give muscles plenty of time to recover and strengthen. Different programs call for varied numbers of one-rep max tests in a single day, but it is not often that more than three tests are performed in a single session. Consider performing tests every six to 12 weeks, or as your program deems necessary. And remember: Bigger gains in strength will be made as a beginner than at any other point in a strength training “career.” Don’t be discouraged — getting stronger is a tortoise’s game, not a hare’s .

https://greatist.com/fitness/how-do-i-find-my-one-rep-max

Testing out my 1 rep maxes for my personal records on the big three lifts: deadlift, bench and squats for every six weeks sounds like a good idea! I need to give my muscles plenty of time to recover and rest. I’ll wait 6 weeks to do my next pr’s and who knows, my pr’s for all 3 lifts will go up even more! Throughout those 6 weeks, I’ll just do my regular training on those three lifts for reps but not test my pr for a while.

Last time I tested out my pr on deadlift was the big 300 lb. which was two weeks ago, I think. So I won’t max out on deadlift again for the next 4 or 5 weeks. Sounds like a good idea.

I’ve also been reading a lot about powerlifting training through google today. Through google, I’ve been reading about “peaking” your pr’s before meet day. What that means is on week 4 before meet day, you do your heaviest lifts and then you drop weights down for the next three weeks so you won’t feel fatigue and beat up before meet day. Which is a good idea. I want to hit the big lifts on deadlift for meet day and I don’t want to miss the big ones so I need to learn how to “peak”. I’ve been doing a lot of reading on “peaking” the pr’s and it sounds useful.

If I want to become a great powerlifter, meaning become one of the greats, winning a lot of respect and be looked up to by a lot of people… I need to learn how to do powerlifting smart and carefully. Less is more to build more strength and to hit those bigger pr’s.

I’ll admit that maxing out my pr’s every week was dumb and I’m gonna stop that immediately. I’m new to powerlifting so I got a lot to learn.

Also, I’ve got to stop cutting and stop losing pounds ’cause I’m noticing I’m losing a few pounds by eating less calories and doing a lot of cardio. If I want to hit the big pr’s, I’ll need to bulk up. Since it’s getting closer to meet time (2 months away), I gotta eat more and put a few more pounds on me. I’ll start doing that now. Maybe I should do bulking and cutting when it comes to powerlifting.

My goal is to become a great powerlifter and I’m confident enough to say that. I really love the sport and glad I discovered it. Wished I discovered it a long time ago.

Kev

How often should I max out and test my p.r. in powerlifting training????

In training for powerlifting competitions, I was just told by someone with a lot of powerlifting experience that you don’t want to max out and text your 1 Rep max every week especially when you start getting heavy. When you’re just starting out in powerlifting, it’s okay to test your 1 rep max weekly when doing the lighter weights but when you start getting heavy, you’ve got to test your 1 rep max less and less.

I just figured out why I took my back out when doing the heavy 295 p.r.’s several weeks back on the deadlift. It wasn’t because of my bad form and all. It’s simply because I’ve been maxing out heavy too often. Doing heavy deadlift p.r.’s every week is bad for the body. I’ve noticed it’s been wearing my body out for doing that so from now on I’m going to have to start doing my 1 rep maxes on the three big lifts: deadlift, squats and bench like once a month would be good enough. You don’t want to test your 1 rep max all the time. If you do, you could get some negative side effects like some pretty bad injuries all over or worse your lifting days could be over for a long while. I don’t want any of that to happen and I don’t want my powerlifting dreams to end this soon so I gotta be more careful. I gotta calm down on testing my 1 rep maxes and do them once a month like I said.

My goal is to become one of the greats in powerlifting which I’m not afraid to say and I don’t want to get weaker… I want to get stronger. I want to be a beast. I want to be a monster in powerlifting.

Less is more to get more strength. There are no secret magic tricks to bring your pr’s up faster. You just gotta keep lifting and lifting and lifting and never give up. Gotta stay consistent and you’ll get stronger.

So each week on the big three lifts: bench, squat and deadlift… I’ll keep training for reps and won’t test out my pr’s for a long while. Maybe in about 3 or 4 weeks, I’ll test out my 1 rep maxes again. The more you test out your 1 rep maxes, the weaker you get. Remember, less is more.

I’m pretty new to this whole powerlifting thing and I’m just learning. I’m a newbie in powerlifting. I’m pretty much doing all this by myself with no coaches and no workout partner. I should get a partner in powerlifting training so I’ll have to start looking for one. I know a few people who are friends of mine that are competitive powerlifters but they live all the way in Albany so it would be tough for us to get together and train. I am going to do another powerlifting meet at Albany Strength at the end of March. I want to save myself for that one and want to be at my absolute best. I want to go in there and put on a show and I don’t want to mess this one up. I’m hoping to pull a 300 lb. deadlift at this meet and I know I can do it. I pulled a 300 lb. deadlift once and I’m going to try it again in like 3 or 4 weeks. This weekend is back day which means it’ll be deadlifting day but I’m not gonna max out… I’m just going to train for reps for a long while. Get more strength and who knows? Maybe I could pull a 310 lb. deadlift next time? We’ll wait and see.

When you’re a competitive powerlifter, you don’t want to max out every week. I’m new to powerlifting and I’ve only done two meets. I want to do a lot more.

I’m loving the sport, though. Powerlifting is a blast. I want to be in it for a pretty long time. I’m so happy I’ve discovered powerlifting ’cause I can’t play any other sports. I just want to do a sport that I can be good at and I think powerlifting is it.

8 reasons why the local music scene sucks and I’m no longer interested in playing live music…

Some of you may wonder why I stopped playing live shows around the Capital District. There’s a pretty good reason for that really is simply because I’m no longer interested in the scene. I’m pretty much retired from playing live music, but I’m not retired from making music, though. I will always play guitar and make music forever but playing live? I don’t know, I’m pretty much done playing live.

Some of you would probably read this post, get all offended and pissed off but that’s all good. I’m not afraid to be real. I don’t give a shit if this posts offends people ’cause I’m not afraid of the truth. The Capital District music scene isn’t as good anymore like it used to be.

Here are 8 reasons why in no particular order:

  • Too many assholes and too much negativity around: Enough said? I have been a part of the musicians community around the Capital District for years now. Not everyone around here is gonna be nice. There are gonna be a lot of douchebags around here for sure just so you know. You will indeed be experiencing a lot of feuds with musicians and you won’t get along with everyone that’s for sure. Not everything about the music scene is gonna be positive. You will get backstabbed a lot, you will get criticized and bullied a lot too. That’s one thing I never liked about this area is too much negativity and drama around here. If there is one thing about the Albany region that has a problem is this right here… the attitudes. I can’t think of anything positive about the scene really.
  • Too much arrogance: The huge egos of musicians never really ceases to amaze me. It has always been a huge problem and still is now.  In fact, it is getting MUCH worse. Too many musicians are full of themselves and many obsess with their own self-importance. Many of them can be pretty pretentious. Acting like they’re rock stars when they’re not. It’s still a problem even to this day. Many of them think they’re so talented and won’t be afraid to say so. While egos of musicians is a huge problem, the more established musicians and bands have an even bigger ego. They are much worse, in my opinion. If they have more success than you, they’ll make you feel like you’re unimportant. Don’t get me wrong, though… I know not all musicians are arrogant and egotistical but most of them are, though. It’s very rare nowadays when you’ll come across a humble and friendly musician. I know they are out there, though. All musicians are different.
  • Scene is too liberal and area getting too political: Here is another thing that is frustrating me. The local music scene getting too political. The left-wing music scene is especially getting much worse under Trump as president. A lot of bands and musicians won’t keep politics out of their music and social networking. No doubt we have a very liberal music scene and it makes me want to avoid the scene like the plague even more. I’ll never forget the day when Donald Trump was elected president, all the local musicians and bands here got upset. No doubt most musicians around here are very liberal people. I’ve had many musicians refusing to support me ’cause of my somewhat “conservative” views. I’m guessing this is why the music scene lost interest in me but I don’t give a shit, though.
  • Lack of venues: If you’re hearing things out there that people say the music scene is “thriving” don’t listen to them. We’ve had a pretty dead music scene for many years and it still haven’t change. There are no venues here and no places to play from where I am seeing. Venues come and go around the area that’s for sure. I’ve seen some of the most iconic and popular music venues close down over the years and now there is nothing pretty much. What’s the point of me going out there to play when there are no venues anymore? Don’t call craphole bar rooms a venue ’cause I won’t go to a bar ever again.
  • Nobody goes to shows anyways: Usually when I go play a show in the area, it’s usually me playing to small crowd or no crowd at all. I may have performed in front of a large crowd a few times but that’s only because I opened for a few established acts in the past. It is hard to get people out to your shows. It isn’t because your music is bad, it’s not that… it’s just that not enough people support local music nowadays.
  • Not a lot of good talent anymore: Honestly, I haven’t really seen any local band and talent that really grabs my attention. There are a few local bands and artists that I support around here but other than that, I haven’t really heard anything that I really like. I miss the old days of local music when there were great talent everywhere.
  • Genres changes around here every now and then: Rock and roll and metal used to be pretty big around the area. Now this area seems to have switched to country, pop music, DJ’s, rappers and the hipster indie rock scene seems to be getting the most attention nowadays. What is going on?
  • Promoters around here are actually pretty selective on who they promote: Without naming names, there’s a lot of online promoters who claim to be supportive of all local music and artists and bands around here but don’t believe the hype. I can’t count how many times I sent in music or requested to get interviewed only to get rejected every time. You can’t trust the promoters around here for sure.

So there you have it, y’all. Hope you enjoy the read but if you didn’t, that’s okay too.

Record stores… remember those???

50970787_2014868285305915_4301422331198177280_o.jpg

I’ve always been a huge music addict. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always bought albums. Music was always a big part of my life and I just love supporting bands & artists. Always did and still do.

When there used to be record stores all over the place, I would go to them all the time and would browse around for hours. I never bought many cassettes and vinyls when  they were around but when the compact disc started coming out, I was all over them. I would come home with like 5 – 7 CD’s a week. That’s how I got a huge CD collection. In the past, my CD collection was a lot bigger than this but I probably sold a bunch of ’em, gave ’em away or people borrowed some and never gave them back. I still have many of my CD’s that I’ve bought over the years, though.

Thanks to Itunes, I now buy music digitally. That’s where I buy my albums now. There are still record stores around today but not as much as you have seen in the past. F.Y.E. still exists and you can still buy records at Barnes & Noble. I still buy albums on physical CD once in a blue moon. I buy a lot of albums from Itunes now since the record store era is pretty much dead.

I love listening to music. It’s always been a big part of my life and still is. I’m a proud music addict. I do miss the record store, though. Thanks to Steve Jobs who killed the record store era.

To drop bodyfat, all you gotta do is eat less calories, stay away from fatty foods, sugars… do all that, you’ll drop bodyfat in no time…

Well it seems that my bodyfat has gotten a lot lower lately ’cause I’ve been eating less calories a  lot lately and it seems to be doing the trick. My skin is feeling tighter than ever lately and I’m dying to know what percentage my bodyfat is right now. I’m thinking it must be %10 percent or a little lower than that. I gotta order a bodyfat caliper online and I can find out where it’s at myself.

I continue to eat like 4 or 5 meals a day everyday but I’ve been sticking with mostly low calorie foods. Trying to keep my calorie intake pretty low. I still eat a lot of high protein and low carb stuff, though. I continue to eat a lot of complex carbs too like fruits, vegetables and whole grains. I’ve gotten better with nutrition and trying to educate myself with that.

If I happen to eat bad food for dinner, I won’t overeat and would only eat very little of it. My nutrition has gotten a lot more strict this year. I’ve been staying away from potato chips and bad soups. I’ve been staying away from cookies more (I still like to eat homemade cookies but only in moderation). I do a good job of avoiding simple carbs and other junk foods.

The only junk foods that I only touch are mostly pizza, ice cream and sometimes Chinese food ’cause you gotta have your cheat meals too which I have on the weekends only. You don’t have to avoid all bad foods completely but it’s okay to have that stuff on the weekends only. You gotta have some sugars and bad fats ’cause that actually helps build you muscle and get you bigger quicker. Cheat meals are good for you as long as you only have 1 or 2 cheat days a week, you’ll be fine. I only hog out on the weekends only ’cause I want to bring up a few pounds then I’ll try to lose it during the week.

Some of you may ask, do I keep a log of my meals by writing everything down like my macros and all that shit? I don’t but I should. At least I eat clean most of the time.

I just added rice cakes to my night time snacks ’cause they are very low in calories. I actually like rice cakes.

I just keep my clean nutrition very simple. I don’t do crazy shit like keto diets, plant based only diets, carb cycling, intermittent fasting, etc. I don’t do none of that garbage. I’m not a vegan and proud of it. I love meat and eat meat all the time. I eat a lot of fish, chicken breast and steak and proud of it.

I eat a lot of eggs too and I’m proud of it. I like eating foods from animals and if people don’t like it, that’s tough shit.

I’m doing my best with the nutrition part of fitness. Good eating and weightlifting go hand in hand. If you’re going to lift weights in the gym and not eat right then what’s the fucking point, ya know?
