Cool Video: More on John Gotti, see how Sly would be perfect for him…

If you watch these videos, John Gotti speaking in prison with visitors…notice how John’s speaking voice is very close to Sly’s. Speaking really fast, kind of mumbling a little bit, etc. Gotti has a Rocky like speaking voice. Plus, Gotti looks similar to Sly too. I can see how Sly wants to bring this project to the big screen now. Check ’em out below. If you think about it, Sly would bring out the great acting chops again just like he did with the first Rocky.

Report: Sylvester Stallone’s next project after “The Expendables”??? Sly will make a biopic about John Gotti???

TMZ reported that Sylvester Stallone is in talks with, “Junior” John Gotti, who is the son of the famous mobster boss, John Gotti Sr. to make a biopic film about John Gotti Sr. Will this be Stallone’s next movie after, “The Expendables”?

More on it here:

http://www.tmz.com/2010/06/24/sylvester-stallone-john-gotti-john-gotti-jr-mafia-gambino-crime-family/

and here:

http://movies.ign.com/articles/110/1101629p1.html

As usual, TMZ are dumbasses. TMZ said, “As for Sly playing Gotti — good casting, we might add — we’re told the project is far enough along that he’s ready to pick a screenwriter.”

Hello MORONS! Sly Stallone is a screenwriter himself! So Sly will probably write the movie, direct it and star in it all at the same time. Sly has written scripts for most of his movies that he starred in his career. TMZ never gets their facts straight before posting things.

If this is really Sly’s next movie, this is a very interesting one.

To those who don’t know John Gotti’s history look at his wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Gotti

Gotti was a vicious animal. Look like Sly wants this to be a serious mob drama. Kind of in the likes of Scorsese’s “The Departed” and other mobster films. John Gotti died in prison at the age of 61, around Sly’s age, so yeah, this is a perfect role for Sly. Can you see the film doing an emotional scene of the death of Frank Gotti?

Seriously, if Sly does good with this movie, it might land himself in the Oscars again.

Who should star in the movie with Sly? Will this movie be full of big name stars or a bunch of unknown actors for the Gambino family gang? Not sure about Sly’s plans yet for this movie. If he does star with a bunch of big names again, maybe try and get Kurt Russell. George Clooney and Al Pacino would be good additions too. Maybe Johnny Depp as well.

Anyhow glad Sly is finally doing something different other than another Rambo movie! Kudos!

Thought: Is Gary Faulkner an American hero or is he just a crazy nut job? My answer is here…

So I’m sure people are wondering about my thoughts on Gary Faulkner, going on a Rambo like mission to go hunt, Bin Laden.

More on it here:

http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5gcJ3Uozu-xGKdB7z-1LOk4r3AICwD9GHBFFG0

So is he an American hero or just some crazy loon out for attention? I vote, he is a crazy loon. Why?

I know there’s going to be some point where normal Americans like him and there will be others that will try to hunt down Bin Laden themselves, but if these people think they can honestly do it, then yes, they are crazy.

First off, hunting down Bin Laden won’t be easy. It’s probably the most difficult thing to do. Hell, why do you think the U.S. Army haven’t even hunted him down yet? Because Bin Laden is hard to find. Bin Laden is in a good hiding spot. He’s in an area that only he knows that can’t be found by outsiders. If his area did get found, I’m sure it would be pretty difficult to get at him. I’m sure Bin Laden is protected by his terrorist buddies. Think how Bin Laden’s hideout would have a security system that would be hard to get through, plus with terrorists all over the place gaurding Bin Laden.

Secondly, if you’re going to hunt down Bin Laden on your own, don’t do it alone like this guy did. Something tells me that even if Gary Faulkner is back home, he’s definitely going to try again. I don’t see him giving this up. You need to know where he is and how to get into Bin Laden’s hideout. Plus, you need more armed weapons than just a sword. I think Gary Faulkner has been watching too many action films and he fantasized about wanting to make these action hero like dreams come true.

Anybody that goes out to hunt Bin Laden, an innocent human being like Gary, is crazy and insane. Let the U.S. Army do that job. The Army were successful of catching Saddam Hussein. Let them catch Bin Laden.

Thought: Batista on his way to MMA/Strikeforce???

Former WWE star, Dave Batista, started some media controversy by telling TMZ that he has been signed with the MMA and maybe going to Strikeforce ppv events.

http://www.tmz.com/2010/06/21/dave-batista-wwe-mma-strikeforce-mixed-martial-arts/

He was asked if he would fight that Fedor Emielenko (SP? Sorry, his last name is always hard to SPELL!) but Batista laughs and says, “I want nothing to do with that dude”. Come on Dave. Scared of Fedor, are ya?

I looked at reports and they say Dave haven’t yet been signed to MMA. He has a tight movie schedule and he’s strict on payments if he wants to join the MMA, so his deal with them stalled.

http://www.wrestling-radio.com/feed_MMA-659-Batista_and_Strikeforce_Deal_Stalled.php

What do you think? Do you think Dave has what it takes to do real fighting in MMA or in UFC? I mean, just because Dave is a big guy doesn’t mean he can fight  good. We all thought Brock Lesnar was going to suck because he was a WWE guy too but Brock proved us wrong that he doesn’t suck at real fighting, but who knows, maybe Dave does have the skills and the talent to fight for real. Maybe he can prove us wrong too? We were surprised by Brock Lesnar, maybe Dave can surprise us. People think real fighting will kill Dave, but don’t judge the book by it’s cover.

If you look at Dave, I’m pretty sure he can throw some pretty brutal punches and if Dave does a takedown, it’ll make your head spin. Don’t ever think that he doesn’t have what it takes. If Dave is serious of fighting for real, if he does good in MMA, maybe he’ll be on his way to UFC to the big time. Wouldn’t it be kind of cool to see Dave Batista vs. Brock Lesnar at UFC? Dave and Brock already know each other, and yes. The two have wrestled each other many times before. They’ve never wrestled in the WWE against each other, but they wrestled each other at the Ohio Valley Wrestling years back.

On a serious note, I doubt Dave has been signed to MMA. I think he’s being an egotist, and delusional. He might be just joking around as his way of playing with TmZ for a little bit. Those former wrestlers like to pick on TmZ a lot. Just ask Chris Jericho who’s done it many times. These wrestlers crave for the publicity, that’s what they do it for.

Thought: It’s all about MJ, but what about Farrah?

Wow, it’s here already. The 1 year anniversary death of Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson both who died on June 25th of 2009. It still feels like it happened yesterday. I’m looking at the media and all they’re talking about is Michael Jackson’s 1 year anniversary death and there will be a huge MJ celebration Friday. Hello people! Did you forget somebody?

Remember, Farrah Fawcett died the same day that morning. How could people forget?

MJ maybe a pop icon, but that’s it, he’s an icon. Not that legendary. Farrah is the true legend. If Michael Jackson didn’t die on the same day Farrah did, then Farrah’s anniversary death would be all over the media instead. Farrah’s more of a legend than Michael would ever be. It’s the fucking truth, too.

So why isn’t Farrah getting a god damn mention at all this week? Do you see the media paying respects to Farrah at all this week? No. I don’t see it anywhere. It’s all Michael, Michael, Michael, all the time. Farrah is the real legend here. Friday will be all about Michael all day long. Farrah will get ignored. That’s okay though, at least Farrah can rest peacefully.

Game Review: Red Dead Redemption

So last week, I completed the game, “Red Dead Redemption”, a cowboy Western game, by the same makers of “Grand Theft Auto”, Rockstar. I must say it was a pretty good game. Not the best ever, but it was fun. What I liked most about the game was the plot. The storyline was cool.

Dissapointing things about the game are: The Gameplay and the length of the game. What I didn’t like about the gameplay? I thought the missions were a bit too easy. The only mission that was hard for me that was a bitch to get by was when you had to save your corn in the Silo from getting eaten by the crows at Abigail’s house, that was the only mission I kind of had trouble on, but the rest of the game was a piece of cake. Plus the game was too short and could have been longer. That’s why it was so quick for me to complete the game.

The game is set in 1911, tells the story of John Marston, a former outlaw who used to be in a gang that was led by a man named Dutch (one of the main villains of the game). John was taken away from his family. John has a wife named Abigail and a son named Jack. Now John is out to seek two men, Bill Williamson and Escuela, who John used to be friends with in the gang. John used to be a criminal, but now that he is married and have a son, he have turned to good. John is out for revenge at his former gang and wants to return to Abigail and Jack to live a normal life again.

I won’t spoil the rest of the game, but the game actually has a very sad ending to it. Most games don’t end in a sad way like this. Most action adventure games end with a happy ending, but this one ended with a sad ending. There is a bit of a twist and a shock to the ending of this game. And to give you a hint at what happens at the game, again, I won’t spoil it just a clue, it looks like we’re going to play Jack Marston in the sequel. Not John.

John Marston is one badass character though, probably one of the best game characters ever created.

Report: Daniel Radcliffe finally gets bored of “Harry Potter” to star in the “Western Front” remake…

Daniel Radcliffe has worked on Harry Potter for so long that he finally wants to work on other things. Radcliffe is set to play a role in the upcoming, “All Quiet on the Western Front” remake, which the original was made in 1930.

More on it here:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment_and_arts/10387829.stm

It’s about time! I think Daniel is capable of doing other things besides Harry Potter. He will be a successful actor doing other things. I’m no Harry Potter fan at all, but I think Daniel will have a good career ahead of him since Harry Potter made him famous.

Report: The MPAA finally rates “The Expendables” a hard R!

All the fans have been wanting this movie R rated, well, Stallone gave them what they wanted. The MPAA finally gave the film an official R rating.

More on it here:

http://www.boxofficemojo.com/news/?id=2831&p=.htm

Why did it take so long for MPAA to rate the movie? Even if the movie is already out there being heavily promoted in the media? Maybe it’s because Sly didn’t finish the movie yet. Just completing the last finishing touches. Last minute editing and all that kind of stuff. Then Sly would send the film to the MPAA for them to watch and they decide what to rate it. It took a long time for the MPAA to rate it because they need to carefully see how much violence and language there is in the film, also, whether or not the film has nudity. With Sly Stallone films being bloody violent and controversial, he had to be careful not to make it an NC-17 rating. If it was too NC-17, then Sly would have to delete some scenes to make it R.

To learn how the MPAA rate stuff check their website here:

http://www.mpaa.org/ratings/what-each-rating-means

I think Sly came this close to making the last “Rambo” movie an NC-17 rating. So he had to cut some stuff out to make it, R rated. Fans are too obsessed with Sly making R rated action films ’cause that’s what he’s known for.

Sly tried other genres in his career but he fails at comedy and drama. I think he’s only successful doing action films. Everybody knows it. Honestly though, I don’t think Sly will do action movies for the rest of his life. He might try and do comedy or drama again, who knows. He’ll get too old for the action thing one day and I think he might hang it up at some point.

Can’t wait for “The Expendables” because I’ve been waiting too long for this film like everyone else! The UFC is already heavily promoting the film which is no surprise, there are three different UFC guys in the film.

Thought: The NXT strikes again, but this time on Mr. McMahon…

Last Monday night’s RAW was yet again, another shocking and great episode with an excellent ending I never saw coming. At the main event was supposed to be a WWE Championship match with Sheamus vs. John Cena. Sheamus is now WWE Champion. Vince McMahon was special guest referee for that match. Toward the middle of the match, yes, you guess it, the NXT guys pictured above, strikes again. They beat up both John Cena and Sheamus. Totally ignoring Vince McMahon at first. As the NXT guys entered the ring, Vince entered too.

Vince was looking impressed with a huge smile on his face, being the usual heel owner and alll. Vince was praising the NXT guys for what they did to John Cena. We at first, all thought Vince McMahon was going to join forces with the NXT group which looked like was going to happen. Instead, the NXT guys surrounded McMahon with angry looks on their faces. That’s a bad sign that something is about to happen to Mr. McMahon. Yep, you guess it, the NXT guys started beating the hell out of Mr. McMahon.

Yes, wrestling is fake and scripted, I always knew it, I just watch it for the entertainment. That’s pretty much it. I enjoy the storylines, how they play out the matches and the stars are great performers on the mic overall. It’s just that I always had a passion and respected the wrestling industry too much. Gotta give respect to Mr. McMahon for his performance last night ’cause he had quite a lot of major bumps and gotten really physical the other night at age 64. McMahon is not that old, believe it or not. He’s still young.

Look like the WWE is trying a “NXT vs. WWE” storyline. Lets hope they do a good job with this one ’cause I remember WWE did, “WCW vs. WWE” years back but that angle failed miserably, started off real good but turned out lame. I think what destroyed the “WCW vs. WWE” angle was when Hulk Hogan returned as a heel nWo guy and then he was forced to turn babyface due to the crowd reaction. Now, “NXT vs. WWE” is something similar. Since “NXT Season 2” is on right now, look like the NXT Season 1 guys want to get more members to the group to make it bigger.

There is an anonymous RAW GM. A RAW GM has already been decided but WWE is keeping it secret for now. Who do I think the new RAW GM is? A lot of people think it’s Daniel Bryan (former NXT guy who’s been released from WWE, recently signed back due to fanbase popularity) and some people think it’s Jim Ross, former WWE announcer. While those could be a possibility, those weren’t the guys that I had in mind.

Who was the first name that came to my mind when an anonymous RAW GM came up? No one other than, “The Rock”, Dwayne Johnson. Remember, the Rock has expressed interest in returning to the WWE this summer. He said he wanted to perform and not wrestle. He was interested in a GM role. So I’m thinking the new GM is the Rock. Have to be. If it’s not the Rock, then Shawn Michaels HBK would be my second choice. HBK maybe done with wrestling but maybe not the performing part of it?

RAW is getting better. If they keep up the good work, it’ll feel like the 90’s attitude era all over again. Wade Barrett (real name: Stu Bennett) is a great performer. I think he’s going to be a big main eventer very quickly.

Bit of improvement on the pecs…

Yesterday I took some pics of myself shirtless again, just to see how much my pecs improved. Yes, I’m seeing a little improvement. I guess doing barbell benching pays and does good. I do barbell benching once every week now. So far, I can only bench 95lb but I’ll stay there for a while until I get some strength enough to lift a little higher. Like I said, I’m not in a rush to lift super heavy like all the pros do. I’m taking my time and that’s how you wanna do it. I’ve also been doing a lot of decline dumbbell flies and incline dumbell presses as well. This stuff really works if you want bigger pecs. I’m going to keep doing what I do and by the end of this summer, I predict a major improvement in the future.

Enjoy and feel free to give me feedback. Don’t be afraid to tell me what I need worked on. I’m never offended at negative feedback.

Kev

Edit to add: I’ll post one of my older pics just so you can see how my chest developed from here…
