Report: Linda Hamilton in negotiations with McG to reprise role as Sarah Connor for “Terminator Salvation” but as voice over only…

More great news, Linda Hamilton who played Sarah Connor in the first two Terminator films, just might return to the fourth installment to reprise her iconic role, in McG’s “Terminator: Salvation”. Only thing is though, Linda herself won’t be appearing on screen at all, she’s only doing voice overs. As in, telling the story of her son John Connor.

Hopefully Linda will agree to do it. I remember over the years, she made a vow that she wouldn’t do another Terminator movie without Jimmy Cameron. Maybe she changed her mind somehow?

If they can’t get her, maybe McG will go after Lena Headey from the “Sarah Connor Chronicles” TV show?

RANT: Wrestlemania no longer needs the Hulkster, don’t get him!!!

Did you know that behind the scenes of the WWE that Vince McMahon tries to get Hulk Hogan to perform a match at Wrestlemania every year? Yep, I believe it’s true. They are trying to get Hogan to fight John  Cena at Wrestlemania 25 this year.

Honestly, I kind of lost my respect to the Hulkster since the Nick Hogan crash controversy, and the Linda/Hulk divorce battle. I don’t care to see Hulk Hogan in WWE anymore. Now he’s out doing some stupid reality show with Eric Bischoff, that I’ve been reading about, a celebrity wrestling kind of thing or something.

Stone Cold being at Wrestlemania 25 is fine with me, ’cause I actually am a longtime Stone Cold fan and still am. The Hulkster’s an asshole, and a douchebag. He lives in his own world that he thinks he invented profesional wrestling when that isn’t true at all.

Wrestlemania 25 will do fine without Hulk Hogan. I’m fine with the other legends from the past being a part of the show but anybody except Hulkamania. Hulk ruined his own life. Screwed his own family, screwed his own career. He went from big profesional legend to a sore loser.

I don’t ever want to see Hogan in WWE ever again, so I hope and pray that he says no to being at Wrestlemania again this year.

Thought: What if Heath Ledger loses his Oscar…again?

Heath was once nominated for “Brokenback Mountain” in 2005, but he never got the win. Could the same happen this year? This is one of the award categories that can be unpredictable. Never assume that Heath Ledger could automatically get the win because of his death.

Could this be Robert Downey Jr’s lucky day and he could actually win for his role in “Tropic Thunder”? Could Josh Brolin get the lucky win for “Milk”? What about Phillip Seymour Hoffman for “Doubt”, or Michael Shannon for “Revolutionary Road”? Any of the other guys can get it.

It all depends on the most votes the Academy gave them the win for. If Robert Downey Jr. wins this, that would be shocking.

If Heath Ledger doesn’t win, then I think that’s what he would have wanted. I’ve read somewhere that he never really wanted to be an Oscar winner? I remember reading somewhere on the internet that Heath was relieved that he didn’t win for “Brokenback Mountain” for some reason. If Heath doesn’t win, then it’s no big deal for me and I’ll take it for what it is.

I’m sure there’ll be an angry public outrage by Batman fans if Heath doesn’t win but if you use a little common sense, if Heath was still alive today, he would think his performance is better than getting an Oscar nomination. So, he wouldn’t worry about losing an Oscar again. I don’t think he ever wanted to be an Oscar winner like he once said, so treat his true wishes with heart and respect.

Cool Video: More on A.R. Rahman, videos of his live performances…

With the Oscars just around the corner, I’ve decided to do more research on A.R. Rahman to learn more about the guy and to hear this guy’s other music. This guy is cool, check him out. If you want to buy A.R. Rahman’s albums, you would probably find him in the “World Music” section in your local record store since he is from India. He’s an electronic and pop musician but still pretty cool. I’m sure A.R. will put on some great live performances at the Oscars this Sunday too. Watch and you’ll see why. Like what you see? Type up his name in youtube and you’ll come across all kinds of live footage from his concerts.

Confirmed: The Max Weinberg 7 still going with Conan for new show…

Conan fans! To those worry about if Conan’s move to the “Tonight Show” will get Max Weinberg’s band and Conan seperated, that is NOT going to happen. On last night’s episode of Conan O’ Brien, Conan made it clear that each member of the Max Weinberg 7 band are moving to California permanently to still do the “Tonight Show” with Conan. So that’s great news to hear! I can’t see these two apart ’cause that would be weird.

More unsanswered questions that still need to be confirmed about Conan’s new show:

1) Will he still have Triumph the Insult Dog?

2) Will his jokes still be as funny on “The Late Show”, will he be forced to keep his jokes Jay Leno style when he moves to the “Tonight Show”? (I hope not, I’m sure he’ll still be the same old Conan he’s always been)

3) Will the “Tonight Show” still let Conan talk to impersonator Arnold on TV

So much more questions that still needs answers.

I’ve been watching Conan O’ Brien all week, every night. Only 2 more episodes left, tonight and tomorrow, that’s it. The White Stripes have been confirmed as the musical guest of the show for Friday’s last show.

My final and last Oscar Predictions

Well this is it folks. The moment movie fans have been waiting for. The Oscars are this Sunday, Feb. 22nd. Yes, I will be watching.

Here are my final and last predictions. I know I did this once before but I want to do mine all over again. I will only do the top categories.

My Oscar predictions:

Best Actor in a Leading Role: Mickey Rourke, “The Wrestler”

Best Actor in a Supporting Role: Heath Ledger, “The Dark Knight”

Best Actress in a Leading Role: Two way tie between Kate Winslet, “The Reader”, or Angelina Jolie, “The Changeling”. If I would pick one, it would probably end up being Kate Winslet.

Best Actress in a Supporting Role: Marisa Tomei, “The Wrestler”

Best Animated Featured film: “Wall-E”, hands down.

Best Directing: Danny Boyle, “Slumdog Millionaire”.

Music (Score): Slumdog Millionaire

Music (Song): “Jai Ho” Slumdog Millionaire, this the song played at the end of “Slumdog Millionaire” where Dev Petel and Freida Pinto were dancing with a huge amount of people at a subway station while the credits were rolling. Sorry Peter Gabriel, but I think “Jai Ho” will be the big winner. I’m willing to bet you, Dev and Freida will do a live dance performance on stage at the Oscars for this song as well.

Best Picture: Slumdog Millionaire…this will hands down win “Best Picture” category no matter what happens. I haven’t seen all the movies nominated for “Best Picture”, Slumdog is the only one I’ve seen and I can easily see this film being the big Oscar winner. Slumdog Millionaire is such an incredible, amazing and phenonemal film that I don’t see how anyone can not like this movie. I will definitely be watching this on DVD a lot when it comes out. I still feel kind of bad for Dev Petel not getting nominated for “Best Actor” or Freida Pinto getting snubbed for “Best Actress”, those two were really great in this film and it’s the best acting I’ve seen in years. Not bad for two actors who has never had an acting role in their lives before. 🙂

RANT: I’m so sick of Octomom, Nadya Suleman…

My god, what is so fucking special about this woman? I never really blog about her but I gotta get this off my chest to get it out of me. I’ll just say this just once. I AM SO SICK OF SEEING THIS WOMAN EVERYWHERE! Yes. This stupid woman is everywhere.

You look on every news website when reading your daily news, there she is, no matter what website you’re on, you’ll see her picture everywhere and news reporting all kinds of bullshit about her. You’re watching TV, she’s even on every fucking news channel and even MSNBC. You go to the grocery store to pick up the newspaper, and there she is on almost every front cover every day!!!!

This gives me a headache. I hate seeing Nadya everywhere. I don’t even follow her news, I don’t read her news. So I could care less about this woman’s life. Next thing you know, TV will give her a job by letting her have her own TV show or she might get acting roles for TV/film, because Hollywood and TV will feel sorry for her that she can’t take care of herself.

A damn media whore as a ploy to make her rich and famous to care for her kids. I hope Angelina and Nadya don’t meet face to face in person. I’m sure Angelina is not liking it too. What’s crazy, is that they both look and talk almost alike, are they identical twins? Gee, I hope not.

The media needs to stop giving her so much attention. I’ve read the latest news that TLC (The Learning Channel) wants nothing to do with Nadya, so that’s great to read. So maybe her 15 minutes of fame will be over with soon. I think the whole story is disgusting, fake and wrong. Do not make Nadya an entertainment star. I beg of you. A talentless and egostitical woman who doesn’t deserve the attention she’s getting. All this makes me sick. Her publicists left her, because in reality, they probably despise her too. This is my last and final post about her. End rant.

Brangelina to move to NYC permanently?

Rumours are swirling the web, that Brangelina may move to NYC full time instead of Long Island. The couple have been spotted strolling the streets of Times Square quite a lot with their kids. I can see why they would choose NYC instead ’cause it’s a celeb friendly city. Imagine walking the streets of Manhatten and suddenly you run into Angelina or Brad Pitt. They’ll be easy to recognize.
