More on the “Zen of Screaming” DVD singing instruction…

So earlier today, I messed around with some of the exercises on the “Zen of Screaming” exercises CD that came with the DVD set. I’m liking this DVD set very much and the price was well worth it. This is absolutely more fun to work with than Metal Method’s “Vocal Power” and “The Art of Screaming” app. I’m trying to learn to how to scream when singing and trying to hit the high notes and I believe the “Zen of Screaming” is the best vocal instruction than the other two.

I know that there are musicians and other singers that read my blog, but if you are a singer and looking to improve your singing… I would strongly recommend “The Zen of Screaming” by Melissa Cross. It’s mostly aimed for hardcore singers and extreme metal (like death metal/black metal) but this DVD set can be for any rock n’ roll singer really.

Some of the vocal exercises on here may be pretty wacky and silly, but if you want to reach you goals in singing, going through these exercises will be well worth it. When I went through some of the exercises on this set, I came to a realization that I really am a Baritone singer. I went through the Baritone section  on the CD with no problem, but I am having trouble in the Tenor section, though. It looks like I have a lot of work to do in order to become a Tenor singer but that’s my goal. I do hope one day to become a Tenor. I’m a baritone singer ’cause I do have a deep speaking voice. If you have a deep speaking voice like I do then you will probably end up being a baritone singer. I was kind of struggling in the Tenor section so I still have work to do to get there.

I do pretty much wanna become a screamer for rock n’ roll and metal. Melissa Cross said on this DVD that you’ll never sing like your favorite singers, you have to sing in your own style which she is so right. I would like to sing like Robert Plant, David Bowie and Chris Cornell, but I will never sing like them. I gotta have a voice that fits me and “The Zen of Screaming” will help me.

Singing is fun. I love it so much. I’ll never give it up. I’ll never sing better than others but I want to improve my singing for my songwriting. There are gonna be songs that I write that could include screaming and hitting the high notes. I wanna be able to do that stuff right and make it sound good. Melissa Cross is the best vocal teacher, in my opinion. She’s the real deal. I’m glad I got the “Zen of Screaming” finally!

Who knows… maybe I should try singing death metal or black metal. I do like listening to that stuff. Burzum is an awesome band. Mayhem and Venom are also good bands that I like. Metal is awesome.

That Ric Flair documentary last night, “Nature Boy: 30 For 30” was really good! Best wrestling documentary I’ve seen in years!

Did anyone out there at all watch the Ric Flair documentary film on ESPN last night called, “Nature Boy: 30 For 30”??? I sure as hell did! The documentary blew me away too as I thought it was freakin’ amazing! It’s not only the best wrestling documentary, it’s also one of the best movie documentaries I’ve seen in a long time! It really was that good. The director of that movie did a great job.

I think the whole goal with the movie was that it wanted to show you who the real Ric Flair is. In the ring, Ric maybe this stylin’, profilin’, limo ridin’, jet flyin’, kiss stealin’, wheelin’ and dealin’ son of a gun but that’s just his in-ring character and gimmick. In reality, Ric is just a normal human being with a lot of problems in his life. Out of the ring, he’s just a devoted family man. That’s what the film pretty much showed. Other than that, the film also showed his legacy through professional wrestling, of course. The film showed how he’s the greatest of all time.

I’m a really huge Ric Flair fan. He has always been one of my favorites. I’ll never forget the night when he won the Royal Rumble 1992, and he won the WWE championship for the first time that night. I was there live when I saw that. I was glad to witness that Royal Rumble live in person. It was a historic moment to witness Flair win the title that night.

Seriously, Ric Flair was very courageous to go on TV to talk about all of his personal problems. He wasn’t afraid to talk about going through alcoholism for most of his life, dealing with the death of his son Reid Flair and talking about his health scare that he just had. Makes me respect Flair even more. The documentary was similar to his book that he wrote with Ashley Flair (aka Charlotte in WWE)… the book Second Nature which is in stores now. That book is recommended reading too. Both the documentary on ESPN and the Ric Flair/Charlotte book are both pretty similar.

Another interesting part of the film was that it explained how Charlotte got into the WWE. Initially, Charlotte never wanted to become a WWE star, but she decided to get into wrestling in honor of her brother Reid Fliehr. Before Reid’s death, he was getting himself trained to be a WWE superstar but sadly it never happened. Charlotte got into wrestling in his honor. In other words, she wants to make his dream come true for him.

The film had all kinds of emotions. It can get enjoyable and sad at the same time. A lot of it’s positive and a lot of it isn’t. Ric maybe a WWE legend and all but he had some pretty dark times in his life too. Even though Ric had a lot of problems, he never gave up his love for professional wrestling. Ric always had wrestling in his blood — it was his passion. He worked through pretty much every wrestling company including WCW and TNA Impact. He loves the business and he shows it.

I thought it was a really good documentary last night and I’m probably gonna watch it again this week ’cause I DVR’d it. Even if you aren’t a wrestling fan at all, you may even enjoy it yourself. I would suggest everyone to check it out if ESPN re-runs it this week ’cause I’m sure they will!

“The Zen of Screaming” DVD set came and it’s pretty cool!

Melissa Cross’s “The Zen Of Screaming” DVD set came in the mail today and it’s a pretty cool set. I watched the DVD earlier this afternoon already and it’s a little over 2 hrs. long. The booklet inside the DVD set told me watch the movie in it’s entirety first, so I’m like “okay” and I did. There’s a lot of good info and advice on this DVD. I think the price is worth it.

DVD teaches you a lot about breathing and how to do vocal exercises and things like that. There is one little section on the DVD where she teaches you how to sing in “rasp” and “growl” like a metal singer. That’s what I want really. There is an audio CD that came with it so you can practice the vocal exercises which I’m gonna start doing tomorrow. Singing in “rasp” and “growling” doesn’t look that hard at all. Melissa Cross makes it look easy.

Yeah, I want to sing like a metal singer. I’m sure a lot of people think I can’t do it but watch me, I’ll prove them all wrong. In fact, I already can sing like a metal singer ’cause a lot of my original acoustic songs were meant to be metal especially songs like “Mr. Tough Guy” and “Time Bomb”. I also sung a few metal covers on video too. Everything I do musically is metal inspired ’cause why? Simply because I listened to metal throughout my life. It’s my favorite genre. I listened to all the metal bands over the years: Metallica, Megadeth, Twisted Sister, Guns N’ Roses, Slayer, Black Sabbath, Ac/Dc, Iron Maiden, etc. I’ve also listened to a lot of darker metal like death metal and black metal. Why do I listen to metal? It’s because it’s the type of music that I like. I may not look like a metal head, I just like the music.

I want to make original metal music myself, and I know I can do it. When I was young and starting out on guitar, I’ve already experimented on trying to make my own metal songs recording songs on a 4 track recorder that I used to own. I used to make metal music with heavy distortion and all that myself. Back then, I didn’t have a band… it was just my voice and an electric guitar, lmao.

I’ve been trying to figure out ways to make my voice different and take it to the next level. I want more range and be able to sing higher too. I think the “Zen of Screaming” will definitely help ’cause it helped other singers.

It’s nice to finally take singing seriously. I really want to get better and improve.

Joy Villa exposed as a fake conservative and she’s also a Scientologist?

This is interesting. Joy Villa, the so-called superstar in the Trump community is in hot water right now. What is it about? Well, it seems that she has been exposed by some Trump supporters that she’s a fake supporter and she’s also a Scientologist. She has been caught supporting Bernie Sanders and saying negative things about Trump before she supposedly got on the Trump train.

Trump supporters called her out for this, yet she put out this statement on twitter and seems to have responded to it all. It’s funny how she calls it “bullying campaign” and calls it “discrimination” ’cause we called her out on being a secret Scientologist. Discrimination against people who are Scientologists, really? LMAO!

https://twitter.com/Joy_Villa/status/927385421125955584

Joy Villa got herself a lot of attention in the Trump  community by wearing MAGA at the Grammy’s, and now she’s trying to get even more attention with her supposedly running for Congress. She can’t be a real conservative ’cause Scientology is pretty much for liberalism. She’s definitely a fake conservative. Just a liberal pretending to be one. She’s a pop singer and part of the industry so you can’t trust her

Yes, there are a lot of douchebags on the left, but there are also a lot of douchebags on the right-wing side too. Douchebags on both sides of the spectrum. Joy Villa tricked Trump supporters into thinking she’s authentic, but she turned out to be a fraud. I wish I never bought her music… well, no more spending my money on this woman ever again.

So Trump became president, that means there will be many douchebags trying to leech off of him and his supporters to get more fame and more attention. She’s doing a good job of that. Well, her 15 minutes of fame is just about over. Many Trump supporters have already turned on her ’cause of all this, but there are some delusional Trump supporters who are still on her side.

Ya know, you don’t have to support and agree with everything on your side. I never was like that even though I was accused of doing so. It’s about being honest and real about everything. Don’t be afraid to call things for what they are. If you’re conservative and if someone on the right is being an idiot then don’t be afraid to say so. There are some others on the Trump team that I don’t even like for example: Mike Cernovich, Paul Joseph Watson, Ann Coulter, Laura Loomer, etc. Just to name a few, they’re all scum bags.

Joy Villa is a cunt for what she did. Another one to put on the boycott list, I guess. Time to delete her albums off my Ipod then.

Finally ordered “The Zen of Screaming” DVD singing instruction… always wanted that…

I’ve been interested in getting “The Zen of Screaming” DVD instruction for a long time so I just ordered a copy from amazon today. I want to sing like a hard rock & metal singer and this could help me.

I work with Metal Method’s “Vocal Power” by Jim Gillette, but I wanted something more. I want to learn how to growl and sing in grit… that kind of stuff. I want to learn how to sing higher too, and this could definitely help me get to those high notes that I want.

If I like “Zen of Screaming” more than “Vocal Power”, I’ll work with this instead.

I want to be a rock and metal singer. That’s my goal. I never liked the way I sung in the past, and I want to take my singing to the next level.

The “Zen of Screaming” DVD is mostly aimed at metal singers who sing hardcore, punk, death metal, black metal, etc. but this DVD teaches you how to sing regularly too.

I don’t ever want to be a death metal or black metal singer, but I do want to growl some without damaging my voice so I think this DVD will help. I should get this in the mail later this week hopefully.

Yep, WWE 2k18 is a pretty sick game! Freakin’ loved it! Definitely a keeper!

So yesterday I just started playing WWE 2k18 game for my PS4, and I already started loving the game as soon as I started it! Yep, it’s definitely the best wrestling game, and it’s definitely the best WWE game for sure.

Above is the pic of me playing the game… in the pic above is a female superstar by the name of Naomi. Ya know, Naomi the black girl who has a glow in the dark gimmick. I didn’t play as her, though, I was playing as Asuka. I started playing the women’s matches on the game so I can learn how to play it.

Yeah, I suck at the game for now. I’m not very good ’cause I don’t play wrestling games that much. The more I play it, the more I’ll get good. I’ll probably play some more of it this evening.

The game is a blast, though. I’m glad I got it. Of course, Asuka was the first wrestler I played on the game ’cause I love her. That’s pretty much what I got the game for, lol. Anyhow, I didn’t just get it for her, I got it to play other superstars that I like that are on there too. The roster is pretty huge on this game. I want to play as Elias ’cause he’s my favorite as well but he’s a DLC so I’ll have to buy him from the PSN sometime.

WWE 2k18 is surprisingly a pretty sweet game. It’s also surprisingly hard. Most wrestling games over the years were pretty easy, but this one is kind of challenging.

For now, I’m just playing regular “singles” matches so I can get the hang of the game and learn it. Once I get the hang of it, then I’ll start playing other kind of matches like ladder matches, cage matches, Hell in a Cell, Iron Man Matches, etc. They’re all on there too. Crazy.

A lot of wrestling fans like to knock the new era of WWE.. ya know, the WWE that currently has nothing but new and young stars… I would have to say that I actually dig the new era. It’s growing on me. A lot of cool wrestlers and gimmicks these days so I thought it would be cool to play some of them in this game.

If you’re a WWE fan, this game is a must buy for sure!

Kev

Picked up “WWE 2k18″… looking forward to playing it soon!

When it comes to playing video games, I mostly like to play action/adventure type video games. Ya know, I like the kind of games that tell a story… games that are kind of like a big screen movie. Those are the kind of games that I mostly like. I also love to play 1st person shooters and those RPG fantasy games such as Elder Scrolls: Skyrim for example.

I also enjoy playing fighting games and I wanted to find a cool fighting for my ps4 so I found one: WWE 2k18. From what I’ve seen of the trailers, the gameplay footage in youtube, the roster, etc… this game looks so badass so I had to get it. This looks to be the best WWE game too. I don’t buy a lot of wrestling games. The last wrestling game I bought was Legends of Wrestlemania  but got rid of it. I think 2k18 will be a lot better.

I’m planning on installing WWE 2k18 on my PS4 later this evening to try it out a little bit. I’ve just started playing “Skyrim: Special Edition”, but I don’t mind taking the night off from “Skyrim” to play WWE 2k18 instead.

2k18 is really cool ’cause you get to play all the new wrestlers you see on RAW, Smackdown and NXT. The main reason I got the game ’cause I wanted to play a few of my favorite superstars like Braun Strowman, Asuka, Finn Balor and the Icon Sting ’cause they’re all on there.

I’m sure this will be a fun game to play and sure it’s worth the money.

What will it take to get Bernie to realize that Hillary doesn’t care about him?

I’ve just read this piece by Donna Brazile who is the former chairperson for the DNC. This was an excerpt from her new book that is about to get released pretty soon. As you probably have seen in the news by now, Donna had just exposed the truth that Hillary had complete control over the DNC before she even became the nominee. She found that out through Hillary’s Joint Fundraising committee. This is no surprise really ’cause we all knew that Hillary was in control of the DNC.

Donna tried to tell Bernie Sanders about this since she found proof that Hillary was controlling the DNC to rob him of the nomination, but he showed no emotion. That’s what the word, “stoically” means.

I’ve read this piece from start to finish, it’s pretty interesting:

https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2017/11/02/clinton-brazile-hacks-2016-215774

Bernie knows he got screwed by the DNC and Hillary, he just won’t admit it for whatever reason. What will it take to get Bernie to feel that he regretted teaming up with Hillary after losing the nomination? Looks like Donna tried to get him to regret it as you read toward the end of the article, but it seems like Bernie doesn’t give a shit.

Bernie is under the delusion of trying to bring down Trump (I think he’s being paid by Hillary to do that, btw).

No doubt, if the DNC wasn’t rigged then Bernie would have won the Democratic nomination easily. Hillary knew that… it’s why she paid the DNC to rig the election. She knew she wanted to stop Bernie from winning.

I must say though that even though it’s pretty nice to see Donna admitted the corruption of the DNC, she was part of the corruption by sending debate questions for Hillary. She was a big part of trying to help Hillary win.

I’m no Bernie fan, but I do feel sorry for him that he got screwed. Seriously, I really feel that way. Wish the old fool would wake up ’cause Hillary never cared about him. The Clintons are controlling Bernie 100%. Money and power will do that. I wish Bernie would be a man and fight back at the Clintons but when he’s 76 years old, it’s understandable that he’s too weak to fight back. I remember he tried to fight back at the Clintons for a little bit in the past which is why many Bernie supporters hate Hillary, but then he sold out his fan base by teaming up with her. I’ll never forget that.

This is an explosive story, though. Something you won’t see much in Fake News.

The way Kevin Spacey came out of the closet was pretty creepy and disturbing, wow…

I have nothing against closeted homosexuals coming out of the closet after keeping their sexuality secret after all these years, but the way Kevin Spacey did it was creepy and disturbing. As you all probably heard in the news by now, actor Anthony Rapp accused Mr. Spacey of attempting to molest  him when Rapp was 14 years old.

Mr. Spacey put out this creepy and disturbing statement after the news got out:

I’m just like everyone else. I too am scratching my head that he claims he doesn’t remember the incident, but he remembers being drunk, though. Then after that, he came out of the closet as a gay man which is no surprise really. So let me get this straight. Kevin just basically admitted to it, and he tried to justify it by saying that he’s drunk and he’s gay? Um, wow… lmao. Kevin did it that way hoping he would get a free pass. No surprise to see the media siding with Kevin instead of Anthony. I’m not seeing much outrage from the liberal left either. They’re all quiet about this ’cause I’m willing to bet that liberals secretly loved the way Kevin came out of the closet.

I’m also seeing some people saying that Kevin never played a gay or bi-sexual character in movies & TV shows which you know is a huge lie. Of course he did. Last time I remember, in the film American Beauty, Kevin was seen making out with a man in the film. You know that scene in the garage when it was raining out. Yeah, that scene. Plus, Frank Underwood in House Of Cards turned out to be a bi-sexual character.

It’s a shame though ’cause I used like Kevin as an actor. He was in some good films over the years, but I can no longer support him. My respect for the man is gone. I’ll no longer watch a movie or a TV show that he’s in.

It’s real sad what Hollywood has become lately. We’re watching Hollywood crumble before our own very eyes. Box office numbers going down on big movies, and we’re witnessing actors/actresses/directors careers get destroyed. It’s crazy.

Happy Halloween…

michael-myers.0.0.jpg

Hope you all are enjoying your day today. I sure am.

I’m not gonna do much for Halloween tonight ’cause I think going “trick or treating” and going to “halloween costume parties” are pretty boring. I would much rather celebrate Halloween by staying home watching horror movies all evening and night. I know it’s not healthy to binge watch a bunch of movies, but once a year won’t hurt anything at all. Today is my rest day of fitness so it’s a good day to do that. I’m gonna start my horror film binge watching a little later. Probably after dinner.

If you do go out trick or treating with your kids or go out partying, have fun and be safe. Behave too ’cause I know people like to cause trouble on Halloween, lol. Rock on!
