My last blog post for a while…

Well, I’ll be leaving to San Diego in a half hour. My last blog post for a while. When I get back on the 28th of Aug, I’ll write a full report and post a bunch of pics.

Enjoy the blog while I’m gone for a week, if you post comments, they won’t be posted publicily because I won’t be on, but when I come back, I will review comments and decide if they get posted or not. Remember the rules of this blog. Feel free to speak your mind on anything you please, negative or positive posting, I don’t care, but keep everything on topic to the blog entry and make some sense, contribute to an insightful explanation, , just don’t attack the blog owner, which is me. No flames or attacks at me will not be allowed.

I’ll be in Albany airport a little later and I won’t be posting at all from today ’til the 28th of Aug. I’ll be back that day.

Report: Jimmy Page and Leona Lewis to perform Led Zepp’s “Whole Lotta Love” at Olympics closing ceremony…

Bassist Guy Pratt confirmed that Jimmy Page and pop star Leona Lewis will be performing Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love” at the Beijing Olympics Closing Ceremony Aug. 24th.

Jimmy Page have been known to do many collaborations with different music artists over the years, him performing with Leona Lewis will be his latest collaboration. Who knows, it may look like that Jimmy and Leona may do more work together in the future.

I’ll definitely try to watch this while I’m in San Diego.

I’m leaving at 2:30 this afternoon to head to the Albany airport. It’ll be a 6 hour flight so I’ll arrive in San Diego at around 10:30 or 11:00 tonight. I’m bringing books to read and my PSP Sony handheld game system to keep me busy on the long plane ride. Plus, I’m sure the plane will show a movie on there, who knows what movie it will be, it wouldn’t surprise me if the movie is “The Dark Knight”, if it is, I wouldn’t mind seeing it again for the third time. I’ll post a goodbye post before I leave to the airport today.

Report: TNA wrestling coming to the Glens Falls Civic Center in October 4th…

Yes, that’s right. Profesional wrestling is finally making a comeback to Glens Falls after all these years! Back in the early 80’s and 90’s. Old school WWE and WCW used to come around Glens Falls all the time, but now that WCW is dead, and WWE has gotten too big, they moved on.

TNA wrestling will have a show at the Glens Falls Civic Center Saturday October 4th at 8:00 p.m. The price range will go from $16 to $46, you can get good seating depending on what price you want, like the lowest price will be high up, ring side tickets would probably be $46. Knowing how small the Civic Center is, I’m sure you can see the wrestling ring very good no matter how high you’re up.

All your favorite TNA superstars will be at the live event including Samoa Joe, Booker T, AJ Styles and plenty more.

Sorry to dissapoint you but it looks like Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash, and Sting will not be at this event although those guys are currently working for TNA.

Thought: Will Michael Phelps and Mark Spitz race each other? Just the two of them?

Will Michael and Mark challenge each other a race in the swimming pool this year? Just the two of them alone? I’m sure this is something the world would be dying to see. Even if Mark Spitz is banned in China, they could still race together in the USA after the Olympics is over with completely.

It wouldn’t surprise me if NBC TV have this Michael vs. Mark swimming race in the planning stages right now.

Can Michael actually beat Mark Spitz? Now that Mark Spitz is getting old and aging, do you think he is still good as he once was back then? I’m sure the world is dying to know and I hope this race happens.

Report: Gary Glitter not allowed in China but refuses to leave country…

Iconic British glam rocker Gary Glitter is out and about, a free man after serving a 3 year prison sentence for molesting children, he was staying in a Vietnam prison. Gary Glitter who’s real name is Paul Gadd seemed to be in an upbeat and positive mood after getting out of prison and flying to Hong Kong, China which immigration officials didn’t give him permission to enter their country. The Chinese forced him to book a flight back to England but he refuses to leave claiming he had an ear ache. He has already been barred from other countries such as Thailand is one of them.

Watch out America, he could be eyeing to come here since no other countries wants him, so America better ban him fast.

I think the law needs to be changed on child predators and pedophiles that they need a life prison sentence or even better, the death penalty. Predators and pedophiles deserve to rot in hell.

Report: “Terminator Salvation” means it’s reffering to a character in the title…

The word “Salvation” means protect and to save. So John Connor obviously have to save someone in the 4th Terminator flick.

Come on McG, stop teasing us that Arnold is gonna be in it ’cause we all know he’s in it anyways. We know that entire post is reffering to Arnold’s Terminator character all the way. They aren’t fooling us!

Report: Jon Voight fires back at Roseanne Barr…

Jon Voight who is Angelina Jolie’s real life father, caught up on that post that Roseanne Barr wrote about him, Angelina and Brad. It didn’t take long for Mr. Voight to respond back to Roseanne. Jon says of Roseanne that she is “sick of mind” and says that what she wrote on her official blog gives him insight on who she really is and what she is capable and doing and saying.

In Roseanne’s defense, she has the right to say what she pleases. It’s her blog and her website. And it wouldn’t be “defamation” if what she says turned out to be true. Everyone has a right to an opinion on celebrities so Roseanne expressed her opinion. She is safe of the 1st amendment rights and I don’t think she’ll be battling in court over this.

Jon Voight is just whining. It’s like a “Wwaaaaahhh, stop talking trash about me on your stupid website, waaahhhh”….
