Thought For The Day: When people call me a “conspiracy theorist”, I consider it a compliment so thank you!!!

When I talk things like Benghazi, Operation F&F, Obama’s birth certificate, etc. I usually get called a conspiracy theorist. That’s okay. I consider that stuff to be a compliment. It just lets me know that people don’t like the truth and they hate hearing it is why they get upset.

What I find funny is that people want to call anti-Obama people “conspiracy theorists” when most really believe that 9/11/01 was a government inside-job. People thinking that 9/11/01 being an inside-job is conspiracy theory too so that’s 100% hypocrisy right there.

In this day and age under Obama as president, anytime someone wants to criticize him they usually get called a “conspiracy theorist”. Every time. Quite honestly, I think most people don’t know what the term means. We’re not “conspiracy theorists”, we’re just “critical thinkers”. “Critical Thinker” is a more appropriate term.

Will Metallica release their new album in 2015? I think there’s a good chance…

Metallica hasn’t released a new album in a long while. Fans are dying for the band to release their follow-up album from 2008’s “Death Magnetic”. What I love about Metallica is that they don’t head into the studio just because their fans want them to. They head into the studio when they’re ready and when they feel the time is right. So therefor, the band goes into the studio on their terms and not everyone else’s. Yeah, it’s true that they take a lot of time in between albums but that’s probably because the band goes on tour more than recording in the studio.

I know how Metallica’s songwriting process works ’cause I’ve seen all of their behind the scenes footage of each album they did. They document every studio session on video. Watch their movie, “Some Kind of Monster” and you would see how the band does things. They just write a bunch of riffs and ideas and then they try to put them together into a song. They won’t stop working on the music until they are happy with it.

Yeah, people want the band to go back to their old-school thrash metal sound. They try to. They tried to do that with their “Death Magnetic” album a little bit, go back to thrash metal. Even though the band tries to go back to their old sound… they can’t. That’s not how music works. Bands & musicians are about moving forward. They just play whatever comes out of them, ya know? That’s all there is to it. There’s no possible way a musician can go back to their old sound they once had. It’s all about musical inspiration.

Will they go back to their old-school thrash metal? Like what they had on albums like “Ride the Lightning”, “Kill ‘Em All” and “Master of Puppets”??? I don’t know. I swore that Lars said in an interview that they’re gonna go back to their early 90’s stuff a little bit. Go back to the “Black Album” era.

However, no matter how many times Metallica tries to make their fans happy… they’re always gonna get complainers and whiners. No matter what kind of music they put out. Even if the next Metallica album is really heavy and tight… fans will always try to find something to complain about. Watch for it. No matter what these guys do, people will always hate, hate, hate. So I can’t blame ’em for not giving a fuck what anyone else thinks.

This band sounds different every album and that’s what I love about ’em. They’re not afraid about going different directions. It’s about evolving. These guys are recording new songs and writing so I’m looking forward to hearing what they got.

Metallica always had the utmost respect from me. I’ve always loved the band no matter how much controversy and negativity that is thrown at them. I’ve always supported the band from day 1 and looking forward to their next album for sure. Don’t be surprised if they go different directions again.

Obama really is a despicable and evil human being, how can you libtards not see that???

A real president would have cancelled his golf game and let the military couple have their wedding but nope, Obummer can’t do that. Unfortunately, Obummer thinks he’s more important than the military. Clearly shows that he doesn’t have any respect for our military at all.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2014/12/29/soldiers-relocate-hawaii-wedding-so-obama-can-play-golf/

Makes you wonder why Obama is getting low approval ratings from our military, hey?

http://www.cnn.com/2014/12/22/politics/obama-military-low-approval-rating/

I’m willing to bet our military will hate him even more after this.

What will the libtards think of this? I’m betting you they will think this is not a big deal. They’ll believe that the president is a “class act” for apologizing to the military couple. Libtards will side with Obama on this for sure. Whatever conservatives think about Obama, I’m almost positive the libtards will have an opposite view on it like they always do. They will rip into conservatives for giving Obama some flak about this. Libtards are just as evil.

Trying to find a new home recording rig is tough…

I think it’s a pretty good idea to get studio speaker monitors after all. I also think it’s a good idea to get both studio monitors and regular stereo speakers w/ stereo amplifier.

I’ve already found an audio interface that I’m interested in getting… I think I’m gonna go for the Focusrite Scarlett 214:

http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Scarlett2i4

The Focusrite product is getting mostly positive reviews from recording musicians out there so I think I’m gonna give that product a try. I think I’m gonna move on from M-Audio Fast Track ’cause I don’t really like it and think I’m gonna try something different.

I’m hoping to find studio equipment that will give me a good enough clean studio sound w/ no background hiss or anything like that.

Trying to find good studio monitors (speakers) is pretty tough. I don’t wanna get no cheap studio monitors… somewhere around the 150 – 200 price range is good enough for me. I want a good enough loud and full sound with bass and a subwoofer. Same with regular stereo speakers. I’m gonna get both kind of speakers studio monitors and stereo.

I’m also gonna look into getting some new DAW software… the ones with MIDI on them and the ones that have piano roll and stuff. That way I can type in the chords, notes and stuff to get ideas out of my head. I do know some music theory. I’m not a music theory wiz yet but getting there, though. Learning music theory would help with home music recording when you’re working with MIDI and stuff. I want to make my own backing tracks for my songs so I can create some great guitar jams and stuff. I’m researching and googling all of this information as best as I can.

Maybe I will even say fuck MIDI… I’ll just get a real band together with human musicians!!! Still though, MIDI is a good idea to help get song ideas out of your head and you won’t forget ’em.

For a long time now, I’ve been trying to find ways to make band backup behind my songs and that’s what I want. Hopefully, someday make a full band rock n’ roll album with tight as hell riffs and face-melting guitar solos all over! Someday I would like to release my debut album so I can maybe release for Itunes, Spotify, etc. It’ll all gonna be homemade on a low budget. That’s how Eastbound Jesus recorded their first album, I believe. I’d like to do the same thing.

I’m in desperate need of a whole new recording rig and I’m working things out.

Miley Cyrus joins the “Free The Nipple” campaigning bandwagon against Instagram…

Damn… I missed Miley’s pic before they took it down (I’ll google around for it, though). I looked at Miley’s twitter (yes, twitter allows nudity) page to see if they have it there but they don’t have it there on her page either.

http://www.channel24.co.za/Gossip/News/Miley-Cyrus-frees-her-nipples-on-Instagram-but-gets-censored-20141229

Why are these celebrity women fighting against Instagram hoping they get their right to expose their titties? Nudity is against the TOS at Instagram. I read the TOS there myself. It’s right there on No. 2.

You may not post violent, nude, partially nude, discriminatory, unlawful, infringing, hateful, pornographic or sexually suggestive photos or other content via the Service.

https://help.instagram.com/478745558852511

I’m sure Chelsea Handler and all of these other celebrity women knows it’s against the TOS but why are they dying to have their right to expose their titties online so badly? Like I said, it’s their bodies so they should be able to have the right to show it all off if they please. In my opinion, looking at boobs isn’t a big deal at all. They feel that the strict TOS rules are censoring their right to do so. So they protest and campaign against the strict TOS rules hoping they would change the TOS rules so women can have their right to post topless photos. It’s a good fight and I like what they’re doing.

I don’t see Chelsea Handler and other celebrity women backing down on this. I think more celebrity women are gonna join in on this fight in the future. It’s a “women’s rights” kind of thing and that’s what they’re doing it for.

Is Angelina Jolie a closet conservative??? She seems to be hiding it from the public so I say yes…

I know it always seems like that Angie is a die hard liberal over the years but is she really? After her last two directed films, “In the Land of Blood and Honey” and “Unbroken”, I’m starting to see the conservative views in her. Maybe she’s finally coming out of the “right-wing” closet? I knew she couldn’t have been a liberal ’cause she grew up in a conservative family especially her father, Jon Voight who is openly “conservative”.

I know there are too many liberal celebs out there but I don’t think she’s one of them. Why are some celebs so scared to admit they’re conservative? They hid their conservative views to save their careers. If they openly admitted they are conservative, they could lose respect and lose their fans. They would get looked at as a crazed “right-winger”… just ask Ted Nugent, Donald Trump and actor James Woods.

I don’t think Angie is a liberal, she can’t be. Maybe she still is but maybe she’s being more sympathetic to the conservative community.

Honestly, though, I don’t care what her political views are ’cause I’ve always been a fan of her work over the years.

Kev

You want proof of liberal media bias??? Here ya go!!!

There’s a lot of delusional and misinformed people out there who wanna mistakenly believe that there is nothing wrong with the Democrat party. Really? I don’t understand why people are so scared to admit that the Democrat party are just as equally bad as the Republican party.

http://nypost.com/2014/12/28/hey-gq-cant-find-any-crazy-democrats-heres-some/

I saw that GQ list while it’s good that they named a few Democrats… they still left out a few notable democrats who are just as crazy… for example: H. Clinton, Pelosi and Harry Reid. The GQ list is a joke… the NYPost here is great for calling out their bullshit.

I don’t like how the media in this country tries to make Republicans look like bad guys and make the Democrats look like good guys. It’s just insane, man. It’s really pissing me off, too. Why are people so afraid of holding the Democrat party accountable for saying crazy stuff, lying and doing stupid things?

I can think of one reason why the media in this country don’t want to make the Democrat/liberal side look bad… probably because they have strong views on “gay marriage”, abortion and things like that. The media doesn’t want to lose their careers, lose ratings and money if they put the left in a bad light. They also don’t wanna make Hillary and Barack look bad either. That is why Hillary and Barack still have many supporters… that’s why the mainstream media refuses to report all the bad stuff that Hillary and Barack have done over the years like Benghazi for example. All this left-wing reporting in mainstream news helps them get ratings and makes them a lot of money.

This doesn’t make the Conservative side look bad at all, in my opinion. As a matter of fact all this liberal bias media made the conservative side much more powerful… that’s why the “right-wing” side won the Mid-term election.

Us “right-wingers” know that Republicans can be nuts, we just want people to learn that Democrats are no different. People want to blame Republicans for the destruction of America but Democrats had a huge hand in that too. Democrats are not a bunch of sweethearts at all. When will people wake up and realize that the Dems in America are full of communists, Saul Alinsky supporters, liars and a bunch of criminals???

Wake up America!!!

Top 15 Movies of 2014…

Here it is, my choices for this year’s Top 15 Movies of 2014. I’ll go backwards like always! The No. 1 choice will be my favorite film of the year.

Here’s the list… enjoy!

15. America: Imagine The World Without Her
(This is a well made documentary by film maker/author Dinesh D’ Souza. I know he isn’t a favorite by the liberals but this film should be seen by every American. It’ll give you a reality check of what’s going on in America. People would think of this film as full of Obama hating but it’s not that at all, really. Like the title says, it’s about what the world would have been like without the United States which is a scary thought if you think about it.)
America
14. The Purge: Anarchy
(If you didn’t like first Purge movie with Ethan Hawke then I think you would like this one a little better. It’s what the first one should have been. The sequel was a slight improvement and better than the first. The writing was better and the acting was better too. It was more of an action movie than horror, though but I enjoyed this film.)
The-Purge-Anarchy
13. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1
(Not the best of the Hunger Games franchise but I liked it. All this was is just an introduction of what’s about to happen in “Mockingjay 2”, a buildup. Even though there was less violence and action in this film, it gave the film a chance to have more plot and story which is what I liked about it. Still a fun movie, though.)
2014, THE HUNGER GAMES - MOCKINGJAY
12. Robocop
(I was skeptical of the Robocop remake at first but when I actually went and saw the remake in theater, I was pretty surprised. It was actually a great film. It’ll never be better than the original Peter Weller film which is a classic but the remake was still good for what it was. The action scenes were a blast to watch in the remake, plus Michael Keaton played a cool badguy!)
RoboCop-2014-Grey-Suit
11. Expendables 3
(Not the best Expendables movie but still, I liked it. Still pretty good. I like the story and action; however, the film was still missing something. There was less gritty violence and swearing. Despite that, it was still a fun Expendables movie. I loved Ronda Rousey in this film as she was pretty hot and Mel Gibson played a great badguy as well!)
The-Expendables-3-Cast
10. Edge of Tomorrow
(This is one of Tom’s best sci-fi films in a long time, in my opinion. This is not just an action film and sci-fi film. The film also had a story and plot! Lots of twists and turns. Kept you guessing ’til the very end. It’s not over yet, though ’cause I think the ending left open for a sequel. Tom Cruise is not everyone’s favorite but love him or hate him, the guy’s a genius in Hollywood and that can’t be denied!)
edge-of-tomorrow__140608183541
9. X-Men: Days of Future Past
(I never saw the new X-Men flick in theater so I waited for DVD rental on it and to my surprise the film was really good! It’s the best X-Men film, in my opinion. It was awesome to see Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen reunite on the big screen together. Most importantly seeing the original X-Men reunite as well. The story was very good and such an entertaining as hell film. I wanna get the BluRay to this film soon.)
x-men-days-of-future-past-02
8. Godzilla
(This was a great Godzilla movie. It has everything that a Godzilla fanatic would want. Giant monsters fighting each other, crashing into buildings, wrecking the city, etc. Just an awesome and kickass movie!)
Godzilla
7. Disney’s Maleficient
(Angie Jolie does it again! “Maleficient” was a wonderful film. I hate most new Disney flicks especially their live-action films but finally, “Maleficient” was really good. I had to put this one on the list and I’m a proud owner of the BluRay.)
disney-maleficent-angelina-jolie-dark
6. Unbroken
(Just seen this one earlier today and loved it. A great war movie with a serious story to tell. It was powerful and yes, I think it’s gonna get some Oscar nominations for sure.)
Unbroken
5. John Wick
(Another film that I was pretty surprised with. One of the best action films I’ve seen in a long time. Keanu Reeves is just a badass in this film. I know Keanu Reeves is not everyone’s favorite actor but give this film a chance and you would love it yourself. It’s a great revenge movie.)
John Wick Film 2014
4. Dawn of the Planet Of the Apes
(As always I’m a huge Planet of the Apes fan and so far this is the best one. This one is a lot more action-packed than the first one. This film is a lot darker than the first one but it’s an amazing film. This film is pretty intense too. This is one of those movies I could watch over and over.)
dawn-planet-apes
3. Guardians of the Galaxy
(Man, I wished I saw this film on the big screen when it was out but I missed it. This film is amazing all-around. Fuckin’ LOVED IT!!! I think it’s the best Marvel film and sorry, GOTG is way better than the Avengers. I really loved Dave Bautista’s role, he was very entertaining and his character is probably what made this film very successful. Finally, we get a superhero movie that adds comedy and humor to it. It’s such a great film. Had to be high on the list.)
guardians-of-the-galaxy-footage-1
2. Gone Girl
(David Fincher at his best. I was totally blown away by this film. It’s a masterpiece for sure. I know Ben Affleck is not everyone’s favorite either but I thought he was great in this film. So was Rosamund Pike! This film is amazing all the way through. I can’t wait for the BluRay!)
gone-girl
1. Interstellar
(Are you surprised that I picked “Interstellar” as my no. 1 movie of the Year? I’m sure you’re not but this is a pretty fucking amazing movie. Chris Nolan never disappoints every time he comes out with a new film. This is Chris’s best film. Long movie but worth sticking through every minute. I also think this film is gonna land some Oscar nominations. Hopefully it will land a “Best Picture” nomination but I don’t think so. Still though, ya never know… we’ll just have to wait and see. “Interstellar” also blew my mind.)
Interstellar

It was a pretty good year for movies. Could have been better still but Hollywood is slowly improving.

Film Review: “Unbroken”…

Starring: Jack O’ Connell, Domhall Gleason
Directed by: Angelina Jolie

Earlier today, I’ve just seen the Angelina Jolie directed WWII film, “Unbroken” which is about the real life POW war vet, Louis Zamperini. Here is my review:

Plot/synopsis: An Olypmian track runner named Louis Zamperini was deployed to fight in a plane during World War II but he ended up getting stuck on a raft for 47 days in the Pacific ocean after the plane was shot down. Then later he was captured by the Japanese and sent to Japanese prison camps.

I know this film is gonna get a lot of criticism ’cause it’s directed by Angie and I know she’s not everyone’s favorite person but I loved her for a long time and still do. I’ve supported her work for years and for a long time now, I had a feeling that she was gonna turn into a director someday and she’s making her directing dreams come true. One thing to keep in mind, though that this isn’t her directorial debut. Her film, “In the Land of Blood & Honey” was her directorial debut. “Unbroken” was her second directorial film.

I thought “Unbroken” was really really good. It was a pretty powerful and sad film. It kind of had the same feelings of “In The Land of Blood & Honey” which was also a great film. I thought Jack O’ Connell was perfect to play a young Louis ’cause him and the real Louis look almost exactly alike if you google the pics.

I thought Angie did a great job with her directing style. The camera work was very well done and the cinematography was well done too. Angie seems to know what she’s doing. Even if she haven’t had much directing experience in the past, I’m pretty sure she learned how to direct by acting in movies over the years of her career. She spent most of her life acting in film and I’m sure she learned directing just by watching other directors. I’m sure other directors taught her some stuff as well. It seemed like she took this movie seriously and definitely seemed like she knew what she was doing.

The script was well-written too, in my opinion as the Coen Brothers helped write the script. 4 people wrote the script to this movie and the Coen Bros. helped them out.

I thought the acting of the entire cast was well played and was impressed with Domhall Gleason (who’s one of the cast members of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”.

The torture scenes in the film can get quite graphic and disturbing, though. The torture was the whole point of the movie ’cause without the torture, it wouldn’t work. I haven’t read the book which the film is based on but maybe I should read the book pretty soon.

After watching, “In the Land of Blood & Honey” and this film here, I think Angie is gonna be a great director. She already is a great director and she has a huge directing career ahead of her. I’m actually glad that she wants to move on from acting and start directing. I thought she did a great job.

I’m sure people are gonna accuse her of chasing an Oscar for this film but I don’t think so. She wanted to bring America’s attention of what Louis went through and to show that he was an American war hero. It’s a pretty important and serious film that should be seen by all Americans. It wasn’t really made for your popcorn entertainment. If you’re expecting, “Black Hawk Down” or the “Hurt Locker”, look else where. This isn’t that kind of war movie.

I’ll give “Unbroken” a score of 5 out of 5 as in “excellent”.
