A lot of men say they usually don’t have a great Valentine’s Day. Well you can add iconic comedy director, Kevin Smith to the list. The “Clerks”, “Dogma” and “Chasing Amy”, director Kevin Smith certainly isn’t having a good V-Day today ’cause he’s been spending too much time on twitter being on a warpath against Southwest Airliner airports. He was aboard the plane and was seated, then the Captain of the plane kicked him off because of his size. Simply too overweight to fly, according to the Captain.
Kevin Smith has been writing attacks to Southwest Air on twitter. Spending some time joking around with his followers making fun of the Southwest Air.

Lionel Richie did a horrible job composing the remake for “We are the World 25th”. If Michael Jackson was still alive, he wouldn’t like it. Michael would have made this his version and would have made this so much better. I’m sure Michael is rolling in his grave. Shame on Lionel Richie and the music industry. This version was horribly done, I’m so disgusted. Why open the video with that Justin Bieber kid? It should have opened with Miley Cyrus instead. Most of the leading vocals were done pretty horribly especially Wyclef Jeans…and toward 5:51 in the video, they added rapping to it. I expected more from this.
Where is all the real talent for the remake? How come Springsteen, Neil Young, Dave Matthews and others weren’t a part of this? The original “We Are the World” was amazing, this version sucked hard. I didn’t like it at all.
At least KD Lang did an amazing job singing “Hallelujah” at the opening ceremony in Vancouver. That was better than this. KD Lang was phenomenal and fucking incredible up there, she looked beautiful wearing that white suit as well. When KD Lang sang up there, that had to be fucking incredible singing in front of thousands of people in Vancouver, I’m sure she couldn’t sleep all night after that. I was completely blown away. KD Lang is an amazing talent, she can sing. On a side note, how come KD Lang herself wasn’t part of the “We Are the World” remake, she would have made a good addition too.

I remember when Alec Baldwin did a Playboy interview a while back, he admitted to being suicidal in the past. Now it looks like he’s being suicidal again. I guess he wasn’t lying when he says he’s a suicidal person. I wonder if Alec will even make it to the Oscars when he hosts it with Steve Martin on March 7th? The guy revealed not too long ago that he wants to quit acting for good and hopefully go into politics or something. If he wants to quit acting this soon, then that means something must be up with Alec in his personal life.
I don’t mean to predict death on someone, but I think Alec needs to get the help that he needs before he actually committs suicide this year. If he doesn’t get any better soon, he could pull out of the Oscars, never know. Remember, he didn’t even appear at the Golden Globes when he won for his role for “30 Rock” for whatever reason.

John Mayer may have apologized on twitter for being a flat out disgusting racist gay moron, but it doesn’t change anything. There is nothing wrong with white men not having a sexual attraction with black women, but if you’re going to be open and honest about it, try not to sound like a racist. It is not you, it is how you say it. It doesn’t make a white man racist for not having sexual attraction with black women however, it does make you racist when you use the “N” word, and when you say offensive things like your dick is a white supremacist.
Then he goes on to talk about Jessica Simpson’s personal life and goes on to rant about his boyfriend, Perez Hilton.
John is no stranger to controversy in the gossip world as he done things like this before, but this time he crosses the line. If John ever comes out of the closet someday which he probably will, that will probably be all over the news for months and months as well. Perez is all over John on his site. I can understand it ’cause John probably went to the club on New Year’s Eve to kiss Perez for publicity, as a ploy to get Perez going on his site. John claims he hates Perez, but I don’t buy it, since he admits he looks at his site and just did a make out session with him.
I was never a fan of John’s music, but I’ll admit that he is a killer guitar player, he’s an excellent guitarist. If John wants to be known as a music artist, he’s going to be known as a gossip celebrity forever if he don’t knock it off.
I mean, when I get back to making music and get myself a band one day, I’m probably gonna quit my entertainment blogging to focus on getting known as a music artist. If you’re a musician or a band, you got to be careful on how you promote yourself. More on that some other time.

So John Travolta, Wyclef Jean, Harrison Ford, Angelina Jolie, etc. helping out Haiti, is this a good thing or a bad thing? My answer may shock people. It might create controversy. Hell, a lot of you may even agree with my answer totally! The internet keeps thinking that this is inspirational and something good that the celebs do in helping out for a good cause. So what do I think? I think celebs helping out Haiti is….a bad thing.
Here is why:
Celebs are loaded and they are doing it for more publicity, as a way to keep their name in the media spotlight. The rich and famous helping out Haiti is disrespectful to the people over there. Do you know what’s that saying to the people in Haiti? Since Haiti is known as a poor country, it isn’t fair to them that the USA has more money than them. I’m not saying that the USA shouldn’t help Haiti, we really should, but I think celebs should be banned from it. The Hope For Haiti telethon with George Clooney, and all them musical performers were a complete joke. Us Americans don’t need celebrities to try and talk us into donating.
I think celebs helping out Haiti is actually disgraceful. Let us, the people help out Haiti our own ways.

A lot of wrestling fans vote William Shatner as the best RAW guest host so far. Um, no. In my opinion, I thought William Shatner hosting RAW was actually kind of lame and dissapointing. WWE didn’t use Shatner that much. He only did a few segments here and there. I was expecting WWE to do more with him.
My favorite RAW guest hosts so far were:
1. Bret Hart
2. Jesse the Body Ventura
3. Bob Barker
4. Iron “Mike” Tyson
5. Dennis Miller
Bret the Hitman Hart was indeed the best host for a lot of reasons. Very emotional having the Hitman back for the first time in years! Now he’s back full time for a while until Wrestlemania!
Jesse the Body Ventura hosting RAW was really amazing as well. That episode ended well and it was great to see Vince McMahon and Ventura at the announcers table again like the good old days.
Bob Barker was great ’cause I admired how much fun he was having out there. Plus, he was very entertaining.
Mike Tyson did a great job hosting RAW. While Iron Mike was backstage during wrestler interviews, Iron Mike was just being quiet as he listened to wrestlers talking trash back and forth at each other, making you wonder what match Iron Mike would make. Then he gets into action with DX at the end of the show. Awesome episode.
Dennis Miller, TV host and comedian hosted the Slammy Awards RAW episode. I thought Dennis did great on the mic.

Brittany’s death results are in. She was sick with pneumonia and she was using prescription and over the counter, meds that were legal to help make her feel better…but her death was accidental. They also said that her death could have easily been prevented and her life could have been saved if she saw a doctor earlier.

Damn. Rumours hit the nets pretty hard that Johnny Depp died in a tragic car crash in France. Due to what? Drinking and driving. The crash was real but nothing has been confirmed if Johnny is dead or alive. Like everyone else, I hope this rumour is fake. If it was true, TMZ would have confirmed it right away. I’m sure TMZ is looking into it now. Lets hope it’s not true. I’m sure it isn’t ’cause Johnny has been one of my favorite actors for years. It would be a huge loss for the movie industry if it turns out to be real.

Edit to add: The rumour was started bya fake CNN article in an Angelfire domain name and it was posted in Twitter. People say Johnny is still alive and well, but we’ll know for sure when Johnny himself would let us know. I’m sure he would come out to squash this rumour quickly, he probably will later today.
