Hey race baiters, the Oscars is about talent regardless of skin color… get over yourselves!!!

The movie “12 Years a Slave” won Best Picture at the Oscars in 2014 but that should have made the race baiters happy but of course, that’s not enough for them. The staff at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences knows exactly what they’re doing. They know what is award worthy and what isn’t. They’ve always been about the talent. Regardless of skin color or race.

Does Michael B. Jordan deserve a nomination for “Creed”? No. He was good but his performance certainly wasn’t Oscar worthy.

Does Will Smith deserve a nomination for “Concussion”? I haven’t seen the movie but from what I’ve saw in the trailers so far… no.

Does Idris Elba deserve a nomination for “Beasts of No Nation”? It was a good performance and I saw the movie on Netflix but not Oscar worthy.

What about Jason Mitchell’s role as Eazy E for “Straight Outta Compton”? Well… I’ll have to agree that he deserves a nomination ’cause his performance in that film was Oscar worthy. Not sure why he got the snub. The film itself is not worthy for Best Picture, though but Jason’s performance as Eazy E should have gotten nominated.

From what I’ve seen in 2015 there weren’t that many movies with black actors in them released that year so it’s not the Academy’s fault for lack of diversity. They know what they’re doing. They’re professionals.

It’s just a lousy excuse for race baiters to divide the country even more… that’s why they go after the Oscars every year. Black people needs to learn that the world doesn’t revolve around them. They need to get over themselves. This country calling everyone and everything “racist” has gone too far. I’m fed up with it.

Leonardo Dicaprio surprisingly never won an Oscar before but I think he’ll get it this time…

Leonardo Dicaprio never won an Oscar before. It may seem like he has already won one but he never did if you do a little digging. He’s been nominated 4 times at the Oscars over the years in his career but he never won any of them. I think he’ll definitely get his first Oscar this year, though (sorry Matt Damon). “The Revenant” was indeed Leo’s best role in his career. In the past, I used to think Leo Dicaprio was an overrated actor. There were only like a few other roles that I liked him in. Other roles that I thought Leo was really good in were “Gangs of New York”, “The Departed”, “Shutter Island”, “Inception”, “Wolf of Wall Street” and “Django Unchained” but other than that, Leo’s best performance was in “The Revenant”.

Like most people I never liked “Titanic” as I thought it was an overrated as hell movie. “Gilbert Grape” is overrated as well. He’s starred in too many overrated films and that includes, “J. Edgar” which I never liked (and it wasn’t because of the gay stuff in the movie, it just wasn’t good).

Leo is a talented actor, I guess. He always has been. I think he deserves his first Oscar which is long overdue and he’ll absolutely get it with “The Revenant” ’cause once again, I thought it was his best role in his career. “The Revenant” will probably sweep everything at the Oscars. I prefer “The Revenant” to be the big winner over “Mad Max: Fury ROad”.

If you haven’t seen “The Revenant” yet, you gotta see it for yourself and you would see how amazing Leo’s performance really was. He’ll blow your mind in this movie. I’m definitely buying “The Revenant” when it comes out on BluRay, hell yes!

As I predicted, the Benghazi attacks goes mainstream after release of “13 Hours” film…

Before the release of Michael Bay’s “13 Hours” movie which came out yesterday, the Benghazi attacks stayed out of the public eye for a long while. As I predicted in the past, the Benghazi story is gonna go mainstream once this movie comes out and look what just happened. Now the Benghazi story is all over the news all of a sudden. Which is good! Everyone should know about the Benghazi tragedy. Everybody needs to see what Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton did.

Anyway, the whole point of this movie is not about Obama & Hillary at all. The whole point of the release of the film is to show America what the surviving heroes did to try and stop the attacks from happening. It wanted to honor those heroes. Plus, another reason the film was made was so that the Benghazi tragedy to go mainstream and push for more answers of the unsolved attacks. To let people know that Benghazi will never be ignored or forgotten.

I haven’t seen the movie yet but the film wasn’t playing at the mall I was at and that’s part of why I saw “The Revenant” instead. “13 Hours” is playing in a different theater so I’ll have to go to the other place to see it. I still have plans in seeing “13 Hours”, though. When you go see the movie, I’m pretty sure the movie will be extremely violent and gritty ’cause why? That’s how the real life Benghazi attack was. If you were there at the Benghazi attack the night it happened, that’s exactly what you’ll see… gun fire all over the place, mortars going off, flames all over, etc.

I wish Americans would realize how dangerous and scary that night was. That’s another reason for this film is to show you how dangerous and scary it was. I know it’s just a movie, yes but the film is to help give you an idea of what the Benghazi attack might of been like that night. To show how serious the Benghazi attacks really was.

It’s real sad that all people want to do is call it a love fest for “conspiracy theorist”. If the mainstream media refuses to talk about Benghazi then Hollywood will start making movies about it. I predict more Benghazi movies will be coming after this one.

This is perfect timing to release “13 Hours” movie, though… around election time when Hillary is running. America needs to know what she did.

Film Review: The Revenant

Starring: Leonardo Dicaprio, Tom Hardy

Directed by: Alejandro G. Iñárritu

So today, I actually went and saw “The Revenant” movie starring Leo Dicaprio.

Plot/Synopsis: A frontiersman on a fur trading expedition in the 1820’s fights for survival after being mauled by a bear and left for dead by members of his own hunting team.

I was gonna wait for DVD rental on this one but since so many people said so many great things about this movie and how great Leo’s performance was I had to see it myself in theater right away out of curiosity. It turned out to be a beautiful and amazing film. It was wonderfully directed and beautifully written. The cinematography is pretty impressive stuff. “The Revenant” is a revenge movie and a survival movie both at the same time. As the synopsis says above it’s about a frontiersman (or a hunter) who is a part of the fur trading group and his own team stabs him in the back. It’s also a movie about war against the Indians.

The film was pretty violent, dark and a bit gory too. So this is all over the Oscars? Wow. Usually the Oscars aren’t too friendly with dark & violent movies but I’m surprised this movie scored a bunch of nominations. This movie will probably sweep everything at the Oscars ’cause the film really was that amazing. The music was beautifully scored. The action scenes weren’t meant to be entertaining… they were meant to be kind of “scary” and gritty.

While Leo’s performance was indeed really good as I thought this was his best role in his career, I was also impressed with Tom Hardy. Tom played a really good villain in this movie. Tom was a badass really. Leo was a badass in this movie too. Does this movie deserve all the Oscar praise? Yes, absolutely. Leo is definitely gonna win his Oscar for this role. To be honest, I was never that big of a Leo Dicaprio fan but the guy gained a lot more respect from me after seeing this movie. So I guess you can say that I’m a fan of Leo now. Maybe that guy has talent after all? Leo can play anything that throws at him.

Before trashing Leo about getting all the praise and awards about this movie, you need to see for yourself before you judge. It really was an amazing film and it’s definitely pretty high up in the top 5 films of 2015.

Score for “The Revenant”: 5 out of 5 stars as in “Excellent”

Congratulations once again, Sly!

Back in 1977 Sly was nominated for Best Actor as Rocky and was nominated for Best Screenplay but he didn’t win either. I think he’ll definitely win the Oscars this time, ha ha.

How come Sly stayed away from the Oscars for over 30 years?

Well, as you all know Sly is mostly known as an action star. He was never really known for playing in serious roles like Rocky. Plus, there was a time that Sly was struggling in his career. I think it was around the late 90’s and early ’00’s that Sly was struggling… ya know, making a bunch of box office failures and a few straight to video movies. Well now he’s no longer struggling and he’s a successful actor again.

A lot of people had a hard time understanding him over the years and trying to debate on whether or not he had acting talent. Probably because he made so many mistakes choosing the wrong movies over the years. Well, these days, I think he’s finally learned from his mistakes and picking the right movies. So now he’s making box office hits again and he’s finally becoming an award winning actor for playing Rocky. Him playing Rocky is where he shows his real acting talent.

One thing to keep in mind though… Rocky wasn’t the only role where he really showed his acting chops. He showed his acting talent in movies like “Cop Land” where he played Freddy Heflin. That was a great performance too. He was also really good in “Shade” when he played “The Dean”… that was a straight to video movie but he still played a great role in that one. I thought he was also good in “Get Carter”.

His fans just wants to see him get successful and get recognized for his talent. He’s finally getting there too. His fans just wants people to respect the man. Stop the hating and criticizing. Just because Sly made a bunch of box office failures over the years doesn’t necessarily mean he’s a terrible actor. I always knew that man has got some talent in him. You really need to see “Creed” yourself in order to see what I mean.

I don’t think the Oscar for “Best Picture” is gonna go to “Mad Max: Fury Road” after all…

I’m actually pretty happy with the winner results of last night’s “Golden Globes”. It seems that the awards went with the right people. I’m so glad “Mad Max: Fury Road” didn’t get the big win for “Best Motion Picture – Drama” last night. Instead that winner went to “The Revenant”. I have not seen “The Revenant” yet but will when it’s available for rental.

Here are the results of last night’s Golden Globes:

Winners & Nominees

I hate award shows but I watch the Globes and the Oscars to see what movies and stuff are gonna win awards since I’m a huge movie buff and all.

So it’s looking like that “Mad Max: Fury Road” isn’t gonna win Best Picture at all at the Oscars. It’s looking like either “The Revenant” or “The Martian” will get the Best Picture win at the Oscars, I’ll bet your money on it. It’s most likely that “The Revenant” is going to win big.

Anyway, I’m glad Sly won for “Creed” and glad that Matt Damon won for “The Martian” ’cause they were both great performances. Matt is probably gonna get another Oscar too for that “Martian” role. I saw “The Martian” in theater myself so I knew that was a great performance. Matt Damon already is an Oscar winner for his screenplay of the film “Good Will Hunting”, he’ll get another Oscar nod for “The Martian” for sure.

I don’t care for award shows anymore but I just want to see Sly get his recognition for his acting talent which he totally deserves finally. I’m really am happy and proud for Sly as I’m sure the rest of his fans are too.

Best of luck to Sly Stallone tonight, hope he gets his first Golden Globe for “Creed”…

Sly is nominated for playing Rocky in the movie “Creed” at tonight’s “Golden Globes” but will he actually win? Will he win his first Golden Globe tonight? I’m hoping and praying for him that he does get it. I wish him a lot of luck tonight. “Creed” really was a beautiful movie and it’s one of Sly’s best performances. Lets hope he finally does become a Golden Globe winner tonight. He did get nominated for playing Rocky in the very first movie back in 1977 but he never won it, though. Lets hope he actually wins tonight. I’m sure Sly is getting nervous a little bit right now and he’s probably excited at the same time. I’m predicting he will get his Golden Globe tonight and next, he’ll get his Oscar. GO SLY! Thinking of ya, man!

Christina Hendricks signed for “Bad Santa 2″…

Christina Hendricks has been signed to play the love interest of Billy Bob Thornton for “Bad Santa 2”. Looks like “Bad Santa 2” is just starting to cast some actors and the film is moving forward finally. If you’ve forgotten who Christina Hendricks is, she had a role in the action/thriller film starring Ryan Gosling, “Drive”.

It looks like Thornton’s character, Willie Stokes is still gonna be a mall Santa like the first one. It will probably be taken place at a different mall and the mall will probably have a new manager. Remember, the manager was played by John Ritter in the first one. John Ritter passed away so he won’t be able to return to the sequel, sadly. Bernie Mac also passed away so he won’t be able to return as well.

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/christina-hendricks-joins-billy-bob-852625

I love the first “Bad Santa” movie. It’s one of my favorite comedies and Christmas movies of all time. I’m sure they will make the sequel even more funnier than the last. They will make the humor more crude and more offensive than the first one, I’m sure.

I’m pretty sure Willie Stokes will be the same guy like he was in the first one. The same old short tempered drunk but I’m sure he will be slightly different after what happened to him at the end of the first one, though. Don’t wanna really give any spoilers.

Hopefully, Tony Cox the little person who played Willie’s elf will make a return too ’cause he was a funny character.

Sly Stallone announces he’s done with Rambo… reboot coming soon? Probably…

Sly Stallone dropped a huge bombshell today and announced that he’s officially retired from Rambo. He’s been working on a script for “Rambo V” but suddenly he doesn’t want to play Rambo anymore. Probably because Sly is aging and his body can’t take doing action movies anymore. He wants to do it but his body can’t take it.

It seems that Sly is all game for a reboot ’cause he clearly said, “Leave it to someone else”. So that means he’s willing to let Rambo get replaced by a different actor?

http://variety.com/2016/film/news/sylvester-stallone-retiring-rambo-1201672291/

I’m all for a Rambo film reboot series as long as they pick a good actor for Rambo. Who would make a good replacement for Rambo? Sly once said in an interview that he wants Ryan Gosling which is an interesting choice but I’d say go for someone like Jason Momoa or Chris Hemsworth. Those two guys are pretty big, muscular and tough so either one of them would make a badass Rambo.

It’s looking like Sly is gonna be done with action movies soon. So is “Expendables 4” gonna be his last action movie that he’s gonna star in? Will he even star in “Expendables 4”? We’ll have to wait and see what goes on.
