Why I refuse to see “X-Men: Days of Future Past”…

While the latest X-Men movie, “Days of Future Past” looks really good, I refuse to see it in theater ’cause I don’t feel comfortable putting my money toward a director who might be a pedophile. As you all know Bryan Singer is the latest celebrity who is being accused of child abuse. He might be a child molester and I refuse to support him at this time.

I was gonna see it in theater but after the big news story of Bryan Singer’s child molester allegations, I don’t think it’s a good idea to support him right now.

That’s why I have decided that I am gonna see Disney’s “Maleficient” instead next week. I’ll still check out “Days of Future Past” though but I might wait for DVD rental on that one.

It’s amazing to me that so many fans would still go see the new X-Men movie despite Singer’s child abuse allegations.

I’m looking forward to “Maleficient” next week and will review it on video after I see it.

Happy birthday, Marilyn!!!

Marilyn may get a lot of criticism and hate today but despite all of that, I am still a huge fan of her work. I am a huge fan of her movies and she was such an inspirational lady. She still is inspirational. While a lot of her quotes inspire a lot of women to this day, her quotes inspire me too.

I fell in love with Marilyn the last time I visited Hollywood in California a few years back. I love Marilyn movies like: “Gentlemen Prefers Blondes”, “Some Like It Hot”, “Seven Year Itch”, “The Prince and the Showgirl”, “Niagra”, etc.

I’m thinking of watching a Marilyn movie or two today in celebration of her birthday!

A “Cliffhanger” reboot is happening…

Even if the 1993 action movie starring Sylvester Stallone, John Lithgow and Michael Rooker never had any sequels, it’s getting the re-boot anyways. The re-boot has been greenlighted and Joe Gazzam has been hired to write the script. While there are no details of the plot/synopsis for the re-boot yet, they do give a hint that the “Cliffhanger” re-boot will be a re-imagining so it will not be a straight up remake of the Stallone action movie.

This film is one of Sly’s most successful action movies ’cause the film grossed $84,049,211 domestically. The film was an obvious hit.

“Cliffhanger” with Stallone was one of my favorite action films of all time. I love it so much. I thought John Lithgow’s bad guy role was the shit. It’s just a badass action movie.

I wonder who they’re gonna get for the leading star??? They are probably gonna get some big name muscle actor to play the leading role. Maybe they’ll get the Rock? Jason Momoa? Chris Hemsworth?

I wonder what Sly himself thinks of this reboot happening? I’m sure he’ll make an opinion about it real soon.

If you’ve never seen the original “Cliffhanger” before, I’d suggest you check it out. It’s a badass film and one of Sly’s best action films, in my opinion.

Michelle Rodriguez looking hot in bikini!!!

“Lost” and “Fast and Furious” star Michelle Rodriguez just dropped this photo on her twitter and couldn’t resist sharing it here.

These are the kind of women I wouldn’t mind dating at all. Women with great bodies and pretty faces. I think I have what it takes to date beautiful chicks like her.

I’ve always been a huge fan of Michelle. Been watching her films and looked after her for a long time now.

“Godzilla” director Gareth Edwards on board to direct “Star Wars” stand alone movie!!!

The “Star Wars” official facebook just dropped this interesting news. The director of the new “Godzilla” movie which I just saw two days ago just got signed to direct an untitled “Star Wars” standalone movie. As you can see Disney/Lucasfilm aren’t saying anything of what this stand-alone film is. Gary Whitta is set to write the script and this film is scheduled to be released in Dec. 2016.

http://starwars.com/news/gareth-edwards-and-gary-whitta-onboard-for-star-wars-stand-alone-film.html

How much do you wanna bet this film is either gonna be the Han Solo or Boba Fett spinoff? I bet Han Solo is first.

I didn’t find it a surprise that Gareth Edwards is gonna be involved in Star Wars somehow ’cause when I saw the new “Godzilla” film two days ago, I felt like I was watching a “Star Wars” film a little bit.

Once again, this film will have nothing to do with the upcoming new trilogy. This is for a standalone/spin-off of some sort.

Warner Bros. reveals subtitle for “Batman vs. Superman” film and new logo…

This is pretty sweet!!! The new Batman logo is getting a lot of mixed criticism but I like it. The logo is trying to keep away from the Michael Keaton and Christian Bale design. Totally original!

I’m sure this film will be just as good as “Man of Steel”!

I guess everyone can easily predict on how this movie is gonna go so this movie might be a bit too predictable. Batman and Superman will be enemies throughout most of the movie… then they team up to form Justice League at the end of the film. They might surprise us with something different, though.

When are they gonna show us the new Wonder Woman? Hopefully soon.

Edit to add: I just wanted to add, noticed how the background is kind of blue. Maybe that’s a sign that Batman’s new suit will be colored blue after all???

JJ gives us a sneak peek on the set of “Star Wars 7” while announcing contest in Abu Dhabi…

While announcing a fundraiser contest where you get the opportunity to have a cameo appearance in “Star Wars 7”, JJ gives us a little sneak peek on set in Abu Dhabi, the desert where they are filming.

As you see in the background, all kinds of people walking around with Star Wars costumes. Then suddenly, you see a little guy walking behind JJ carrying something on his back which looks like a new character for “Star Wars 7”.

Like I said, JJ showing us a little bit at a time. Everyone knows he is obsessed with all of this secrecy. JJ’s been like this with all of his past movies. He never liked to reveal too much.

Film Review: Godzilla (2014)

Starring: Bryan Cranston, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen

Directed by: Gareth Edwards

I was gonna do my “Godzilla” review in a videoblog but I decided not to ’cause I don’t feel like going through all that work tonight. So I’ll just write the review here instead. I’ve just seen the new “Godzilla” today.

Plot/synopsis: The world’s most famous monster is pitted against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.

This film so far is getting mixed reviews by critics and movie fans but I can’t understand why. I thought the film was pretty mind blowing. I FUCKING LOVED IT!!!!! Finally, we have a Godzilla movie that is perfect. It’s the true Godzilla movie that die-hard fans can drool over. I have been a huge Godzilla fan for years so I know this is the perfect Godzilla film. This film totally felt like the old Japanese films from the 50’s but this new film has a more modern feel to it. Godzilla have been in the film franchise for years. I remember the first Godzilla movie was made in 1954 which is the Japanese film and there have been over 20 more Japanese Godzilla films. There are now 4 American Godzilla films. I know about the 1985 film and I also know the 1994 version. The 94′ version wasn’t actually all that bad but back to the new film…

… this film was entertaining as hell all the way through. This is the kind of movie that will make you want to jump up and cheer and smile… kind of like when you’re watching “Star Wars” or something. Yes, you will see plenty of giant monsters fighting, building smashing, and city wrecking just like all the earlier Godzilla flicks. This is surprisingly a more realistic Godzilla flick too and Godzilla had some personality in this movie. Most CGI in popcorn movies are pretty much garbage but they did a great job with the CGI in this film. All of it almost seemed pretty real.

The script was good and the acting wasn’t bad either; of course, Bryan Cranston, the “Breaking Bad” star kills it like always.

The new “Godzilla” was very exciting. Now that this is a very successful movie… I can see this new “Godzilla” re-boot being made into a series of sequels with Godzilla fighting different monsters each film just like the early Japan movies. Will Mothra and Mechagodzilla be coming? It also wouldn’t surprise me if Hollywood is planning an American version of “King Kong vs. Godzilla” ’cause that have never been done here before.

The action in the new “Godzilla” was a thrill ride. I think I’m definitely gonna get this film on BluRay when it comes out for sure.

Go check out the new “Godzilla”, you won’t be disappointed.

Two thumbs up.

Expendables 3 at Cannes…

Here is a pretty cool article about the Expendables 3 at Cannes which is a yearly film festival in France. Sly hints at retirement from Hollywood which maybe possible that this is the final Expendables movie that Sly will star in. I love seeing Harrison Ford and Mel Gibson together in these photos. Mel is looking good and it’s great to see him smiling and enjoying himself for a change.

Check out the article here:

I hate that we have to wait all the way to August to see Expendables 3. I love these films!!! Yes, I loved the first two and looking forward to the third!

Was it Bobby Kennedy who ordered the murder of Marilyn Monroe and not actually JFK???

A new story got out today that a new book about Marilyn’s death claims that they have solved the mystery of her death. They found out that she died of lethal injection and it was Bobby Kennedy that ordered the murder. The reason they killed her was that Bobby didn’t want Marilyn making her affair with both of the Kennedy’s public and Bobby killed her to stop that from happening.

If what the new book claims turns out to be true, I wouldn’t be surprised. Keep in mind there are TONS of books out there claiming they know what happened. It would make more sense that Bobby may have wanted her dead and not JFK. I can’t see JFK doing something like this. He wouldn’t have killed innocent people but Bobby, yes. Bobby was a bit of a scum bag back in the day. Bobby cared for his brother Jack and he just didn’t want Marilyn making him look bad.

Like they were successful at that ’cause noticed how over the years there was never much evidence of Marilyn’s affair with both of the Kennedy brothers.

Some of you may say, this happened like 40 years ago, who cares? Like I always say, it doesn’t matter how long ago it was… all mysterious deaths and murders deserve to get solved. Yes, Marilyn’s death WAS mysterious so get over it. It is very possible to kill someone, make it look like a suicide and successfully get away with it.
