Is Superman’s face mysteriously hidden on the “Dark Knight: Rises” Bane poster???

This website, comicbook.com, was the first to discover this before anyone else noticed it. The first “Dark Knight: Rises” poster where we see Gotham City crumbling and falling apart, you see the Superman S shield on one of the buildings.

In the new “Dark Knight: Rises” poster with Bane, you see a mysterious hidden face that could reference Henry Cavill as Superman. You can see the mysterious Superman face slightly beside Bane’s head in the poster.

I’m sure many of you would call it a fake and photoshopped but if you look at the “Dark Knight: Rises” official site, the mysterious face is still there. The mysterious face was definitely put there intentionally. Is it Superman’s face? Probably, because the way it is shown it is shaped like an S shield. If you look at the vertical version of the poster here, you see the mysterious face in a different position, it’s between the letters “E” and “G, in the word, “Legend”.

What’s with all the Superman mysteries in the Batman posters? Could this mean that Superman is in, “The Dark Knight: Rises”, in some way? If so, that would be pretty fuckin’ cool, if Superman was in “TDK: Rises”.

It doesn’t surprise me that Superman could possibly be appearing in the next Batman film, since both the new Batman and Superman movies are being made at the same time. Batman and Superman have teamed up for years in comics and animated movies. It’s time to team them up in a live action movie, which was long over due.

Cool Photo: “Dark Knight: Rises” confirms it’s the last film, does Bane actually breaks the bat?

The first teaser poster we see Gotham City looks like it is crumbling and falling apart. In this poster, we see Bane with his back facing you and part of Batman’s mask laying on the ground.

Do the badguys win? That’s what it seems like. That’s what the posters are trying to tell you. Does Bane kill Batman?

I don’t think so, maybe Batman’s identity will get exposed, but that’s about it. If that is how they are going to end the trilogy by killing Batman, that would be a really good closure, but I don’t think they’ll really end it that way. There’s got to be a good reason why they call it, “The Dark Knight: Rises”, we’ll find out when we see the film next year.

I’m certainly looking forward to seeing it. Batman is my favorite superhero, always have been. I hope this movie will be even more action packed than the last one, I’m sure it will be.

I love how Christopher Nolan keeps quiet about everything with his movies and keeps them mysterious. He doesn’t like to give out secrets and wants people to wait to see the film itself.

Cool Photo: Warner Bros. thanks Pittsburgh in a unique way…

Christopher Nolan and the film crew of Warner Bros. wrapped up their summer filming of “The Dark Knight: Rises” in Pittsburgh, P.A. That photo above is created by Warner Bros. for a Pittsburgh local newspaper.

The film crew will next head to Los Angeles and New York City to film the rest of the movie.

More on it, here.

Zack Snyder’s “Man of Steel” is currently filming now as well. Warner Bros. hard at work with both “Superman” and “Batman”. I’m looking forward to both of these films.

“The Dark Knight: Rises” is looking great so far though. Can’t wait to see more behind the scenes pics when they hit Los Angeles and New York. Hopefully we’ll get a pic of Anne Hathaway in the full Catwoman costume soon.

Cool Photos & Videos: Batman vs. Bane for “The Dark Knight: Rises”

Christopher Nolan’s next Batman flick, “The Dark Knight: Rises” is currently filming and photos and videos of filming the movie have been leaked online. Here are photos and videos of Batman vs. Bane fighting outside of the City Hall building while there’s a brawl going on with other people. I don’t think that’s Christian Bale in the Batman suit, doesn’t look like him. Looks like a stunt double for sure. Still cool to watch though.

Enjoy these, here.

Film Review: The Fighter

Starring: Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale, Amy Adams
Directed by: David O’ Russell

So today, I decided to go see the movie, “The Fighter”. Finally saw it, and here is my review:

Plot/Synopsis: The movie tells the real life story of professional boxers, Dicky Ecklund (Christian Bale) and Micky Ward (Mark Wahlberg). Dicky Ecklund is a retired boxer who’s last fight was against boxing legend, Sugar Ray Leonard. Dicky’s sparring partner, Micky Ward, dreams of becoming a fighter himself. At first, Micky trains on his own terms, he made a vow to never train with his half-brother, Dicky. Micky falls in love with a woman named, Charlene (Amy Adams), while his brother, Dicky falls into trouble with drugs, alcohol and serves some prison time. Micky continues to fight in matches and hopes to become welterweight champion.

I saw this movie because I like boxing films. I will always think the Rocky movies are the best boxing films, but “The Fighter” was a really good one. “The Fighter” was very similar to Rocky in a way. The film, “The Fighter” was shot in low budget cameras, the only big name stars in the film are obviously Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale and Amy Adams, but the rest of the cast were unknowns. This film have been getting nothing but positive reviews all over the place. I haven’t seen anything negative about the film. People were saying that Mark Wahlberg should get Best Actor for this role. To be honest with you, I didn’t think Mark Wahlberg’s acting in this movie was Oscar worthy. I was more impressed with Christian Bale’s acting. Throughout the film, I had my eye on Christian Bale the whole time, that’s how amazing he was. I’ve seen Christian in so many other films, but his acting has always been the same in other films, but not this one. Christian’s acting was so different in this movie, “The Fighter”. I’m willing to bet Christian rehearsed his ass off and did some acting coaching for this role. Mark is a good actor, don’t get me wrong, but if Christian wasn’t in this film, then the movie would be boring. Christian didn’t make this movie boring. He made it fun. So I think Christian will definitely get the Oscar for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for this movie. I don’t even think Mark Wahlberg will get nominated for this one.

I thought the story was pretty intense and had some pretty emotional scenes. A few things I didn’t care for in the film was the Eklund brother’s mother, Alice, and the sisters wasn’t needed, but other than that, I loved the movie overall. The movie is taken place during the 70’s-80’s, back in the days when wireless phones, the internet, cell phones and flat screen TV’s weren’t around. So the film stayed true to that. Sugar Ray Leonard himself, made a cameo appearance in the film, yes, the real Sugar Ray. Amy Adams isn’t nude in the film but she does show a lot of cleavage and she does have one scene where she was wearing nothing but bra & panties. Amy’s acting in the film, was okay, but her performance is not Oscar worthy.

The fights were fun, realistic and made them believable. Is “The Fighter” the best movie of the year, 2010? It was really good, but definitely not the best of the year. I still have to see “True Grit” and “Tron 3D” sometime after Christmas. After I see those two films, then I’ll make my decision on what the best film of the year is.

Score for “The Fighter” = **** (4 stars as in “excellent”)

Thought: What would the Batman movies be like without Christopher Nolan???

Chris Nolan announced the sad and not so surprising news that he’ll be quitting the Batman movies, after the “Dark Knight: Rises“. Warner Bros. will probably continue to make more Batman movies without Chris, but it makes you wonder what would happen if a director other than Chris helms a Batman movie? Here’s what I think. Nobody can make a better Batman movie than Christopher Nolan, period. I think we all know that. I’m a little worried that when Chris Nolan leaves after “DK: Rises”, the Batman franchise will go back to making crap movies again. Maybe a different director can make a good Batman movie, who knows…if a different director does happen to make a good Batman movie without Nolan being involved, it could be possible, but no other director could top Nolan. Nolan made the Batman movies the way they are supposed to be.

Hell, I’m even a little nervous about Chris Nolan’s “DK: Rises” flick that he’s planning. You’ll never know that the “DK: Rises” could turn out to be a shit movie or might turn out ok, but nothing will be better than ‘The Dark Knight” with Heath Ledger. I think, “The Dark Knight” is the best Batman movie out of all of them made from the past. I don’t just like, “The Dark Knight” just for Heath Ledger’s performance alone, he was great, don’t get me wrong. I like the whole movie overall ’cause it told a great story and the action was just amazing.

Don’t expect anybody to make a great Batman movie ever again. “The Dark Knight” was a very special film in so many ways. “The Dark Knight” should have gotten BEST PICTURE for the Oscars as well which didn’t make it that year. “The Dark Knight” was just a perfect Batman film, that I’ll never get tired of watching it. “Rises” won’t be any better, I bet your money on it. People want the next Batman flick to be better, but I don’t think it will happen. That’s how powerful, “The Dark Knight” film really is.

Just my 2cents folks, just don’t get all excited about “Rises” this soon.

Report: It’s getting very close to see that Catwoman maybe the next Batman villain…

Chris Nolan has lined up six different actresses who are in the hopes of being female leads for, “The Dark Knight: Rises”. It is said that one female lead will be Bruce Wayne’s love interest, the other will be for the main villain. If you look at all these six actresses, they are young. So the villain for the next Batman film, will be female. Does this mean that the female villain will either be Poison Ivy or Catwoman? I would like Natalie Portman as Bruce Wayne’s love interest. I would also like Naomi Watts as Catwoman if the villain will be Catwoman. It’s looking very likely that the next villain will be Catwoman, I’m very sure of it.

See the article here at, Deadline.

Report: Tom Hardy casted for Christopher Nolan’s, “Dark Knight 3” but keeping his role a secret for now…

Wow! Christopher Nolan is on a roll with both “Superman” and “Batman”, working on both at the same time, it seems! First Chris hires Zack Snyder to direct, “Superman” and now Chris hires Tom Hardy for a top secret character in, the “Dark Knight 3”. They won’t reveal Tom’s character yet, but everyone is quickly assuming that it could be a villain character.

See the article at, Deadline.

Now, now, people. Settle down. The article never said, that Tom could possibly be playing a villain. I mean, he could, but Tom could still be playing a major good guy character, too. Don’t you think that Tom Hardy could play a good guy character who tries to help, Batman? I’m not saying he could be playing, Robin, but a different Batman character who’s a good guy.

Maybe Tom could be playing, Harold Allnut, who helps Batman with his crazy gadgets and maybe Hush could be the main villain for, “Batman 3”? Something like that could be a possibility. All this talk on Tom playing a lead villain, is just speculation, ’cause I guess that’s what the Deadline article wanted people to do. To play all these silly guessing games for the villain he will be playing.

If Tom is indeed playing a villain, I’d like to see him not playing one of those crazy costumed villains. Maybe Tom could play the role of Joe Chill? Joe Chill is the guy that killed Bruce Wayne’s parents and this could be a nice revenge story.

Thought: Top 5 actors that I think should play Roland Deschain of Gilead for “Dark Tower” film…

Ron Howard reportedly said he was going have a big name star to play Roland Deschain of Gilead for the live action, “Dark Tower” movie coming soon to the big screen. I’ve thought of 5 actors that could be perfect for the role.

Here they are!

  • Hugh Jackman – I mean, think about it. The reason I think Jackman would be perfect is because his Wolverine character was so much like Roland Deschain. Roland needs to be a bad ass tough guy like he was in the books, that’s what Wolverine was. Plus, Hugh Jackman has Roland’s look in the “Dark Tower” graphic novels.
  • Thomas Jane – Thomas Jane already played in two different Stephen King movies, Tom was in “Dreamcatcher” and, “The Mist”. Tom wouldn’t be a bad choice for Roland, ’cause he has this tough guy bad ass attitude as well!
  • Christian Bale – Many would disagree with this choice, I’m sure, but Bale wouldn’t make a bad Roland at all. Bale had this tough guy attitude when he played in Batman and “Terminator: Salvation”, which is what Roland needs, so Christian would be pretty decent!
  • Keifer Sutherland – Keifer’s hit show “24” is over and done with, I’m sure he’ll go back to movies full time again soon. I can see Keifer making one badass Roland. He might be able to pull it off.
  • Jackie Earle Haley – The “Watchmen” and “Nightmare on Elm St.” star could fit the Roland role as well. Jackie would be great.

Lets just hope Ron doesn’t get Tom Hanks or Russell Crowe for Roland. Ron and Tom Hanks worked together for so long over the years, I don’t think Hanks is needed for this one. I’m pretty sure Tom Hanks will get a role for “The Dark Tower” series, but not as Roland.

Report: Michael Caine says Batman 3 to shoot in April…

Look like Christopher Nolan gave ,Michael Caine, the permission to let the media know when “Batman 3” will start shooting. Caine says they will start shooting “Batman 3” in April.

More on it here:

http://www.collider.com/2010/07/09/michael-caine-batman-3-filming-begins-april/

Well, it definitely looks like Caine is on board to coming back to the 3rd one. I’m sure the rest of the cast: Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman and hopefully if Chris Nolan brings back Two-Face, maybe Aaron Eckhart will return too. I hope he brings Two-Face back ’cause that was a cool character. Plus Aaron Eckhart is a great actor. Hopefully Cillian Murphy will be back as Scarecrow too.

Would Maggie Gyllenhaal return? You asked yourself, how? She died in the “Dark Knight”. Well Chris Nolan could possibly bring her back to turn her into a villain. Maybe Maggie would be Catwoman? It would make a lot of sense if Catwoman was the next villain with Maggie playing her as, Rachel Dawes in a catsuit. Rachel was killed in an explosion at Harvey Dent’s home, Batman tries to save them both but he got there too late. Maggie could come back to destroy Batman for revenge and she could take the blame on him for her death. Harvey Dent/Two-Face could possibly bring her back to life somehow.

I think Catwoman should be the next villain, but if they use her, they need to use her right. Make it a different Catwoman. Maggie would make an interesting Catwoman if you think about it. I’m sure we will know who the villains will be soon.
