Report: UFC’s Dana White apologizes about his rant to female MMA reporter of his video blog tirade aimed at her…

UFC president, Dana White, lashed out at MMA  reporter Loretta Hunt who is a writer at the MMA News website, http://www.sherdog.com/ in Dana’s personal video blog. Dana responded to Loretta in a very harsh and mean, aggressive tone. Using all kinds of swearing, gay bashing, and even called Loretta a bunch of names, also called her a “bitch”.

Dana claims that he wasn’t doing any gay bashing, he claims he supports gay rights, he was just angry at this woman that wrote things about Dana in an article that weren’t true about him.

The Gay and Lesbian Alliance, called out Dana White and begged him to apologize to the homosexuals he offended and to apologize, he apologized to the gays but not to Loretta.

WTF? Dana White apologizing? Now he’s looking like a pussy and a wimp after bravely speaking his mind in a public video blog responding to an article he was pissed at. I’ve said this in a comment in that video, this is the fucking UFC we’re talking here! With this being the UFC, of course UFC guys are going to respond back in this tone! You have to understand that the wrestling and fighting sporting business is never friendly all the time!! That’s the name of the game of this business folks.

If you can’t take the heat of these sports men, then you don’t have balls to take it. If you mess with either Vince McMahon or Dana White in real life behind the scenes, you’ll have to expect these guys to retaliate. There is no way that these guys are going to sit back and smile at some of the things that these so called sports news report about them.

See Dana’s apology statement here:

http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/sports_blog/2009/04/ufcs-dana-white-apologizes-for-some-comments.html

See Dana White’s rant about Loretta Hunt in the video below.

EDIT: Changed this post about it, just realized that Dana is not apologizing to Loretta at all, he’s apologizing to the gays and lesbians. He hates Loretta’s guts so he probably will never apologize to her, I see an all out media feud with Dana vs. Loretta in Sports news very quick. Could Dana sue Loretta a libel lawsuit for all the false things she wrote about him in an article?

Report: Chris Cornell hints at wanting to rejoin Soundgarden as frontman…

Chris Cornell said he was totally surprised by the Soundgarden reunion with Tad Doyle as frontman at the Crocodile Cafe in Seattle, Washington. Chris says he wished he was there and wished he was the frontman instead. When asked about rejoining Soundgarden, he said, “You never know”.

Sounds like he is definitely interested in re-joining Soundgarden again and I hope it happens.

Cool Video: Stone Cold’s induction at the Wrestling Hall of Fame…

The Rock and Roll Hall of fame wasn’t the only Hall of Fame show going on last night. WWE had their “Wrestling Hall of Fame” last night.

Stone Cold is not scheduled for Wrestlemania tonight, but will the Texas Rattlesnake somehow be in action since Texas is his home state? Which match will Stone Cold interfere tonight to raise some hell?

My guess is the “Chris Jericho vs. The Legends” match.

Here is Vince McMahon inducting Stone Cold. Enjoy.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame thoughts: Really great show!!!

I watched the entire “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame” on TV last night and I was very surprised. The show was one of the best ” Rock Hall of Fame” shows in a very long time. The “Hall of Fame” has been crap the last couple of years, but this year was surprisingly good. I enjoyed all the inductees this year and the speeches and performances were great.

Wanda Jackson was incredible.

Eminem gave an amazing speech on Run-DMC, his speech about the legendary rap group was very heart warming.

The Jimmy Page speech was very brief and short, he didn’t talk long on stage at all, but Jeff Beck’s speech was good though. Jeff was honest that even he admits that he’s not big enough to be in the Hall of Fame, and admits that he doesn’t deserve to be inducted. Jeff Beck’s live performance was fucking amazing and mind blowing though.

Flea gave a hilarious and great speech about Metallica. Metallica’s acceptance speech was amazing too. Cliff Burton’s father was on stage and Cliff’s mother was out in the audience watching the band get inducted. You had to feel sorry for Cliff’s mother ’cause she was crying the whole time wishing her son was alive and on stage to experience the amazing moment. It was great to see Jason Newsted again. I loved seeing Jason and Rob jamming together. I was surprised they picked “Master of Puppets”, then of course they played, “Enter Sandman” after. Metallica an incredible performance at the Hall of Fame, now I really can’t wait to see them live in Albany in Nov.

Music fans out there really need to stop hating and bashing the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame” so much. The reason the “Hall of Fame” is here in Cleveland is to honor these legendary musicians of the music they gave us here in the music industry. They deserve the celebration and the honor. If you disrespect legendary musicians and bands, then you have no idea what music is all about what so ever, and you have no right to be a music fan in the first place.

The Hall of Fame is a really special thing. If you hate the “Hall of Fame” so much, that’s just a clear sign that you wish you were a “Hall of Famer” musician and that you will never be there. Every musician that got inducted last night gave advice to other musicians that if you want to be a “Hall of Famer”, you have to believe in your music and stay focus on your dreams, ’cause yes, dreams coming true can be possible.

You have to love and care for your music no matter what happens to you in your life. Your family and friends may think you’re crazy, and delusional that you want to be famous for your music, but if you don’t listen to what anybody else thinks and do what makes you happy, you could be a famous musician down the road.

That’s how all these musicians and bands made the Hall of Fame. They believed in themselves and their music. They came a long road to get here. I loved last night’s “Hall of Fame” show, it was great all the way through.

A few videos from last night. The Metallica performances. Enjoy.

Brock to put on live stream home concerts for the web? Just found a great website to do that…

Since I have made a vow to never play a live show in the local Capital District area ever again, I have found a way where I can still be able to perform live in front of an audience. Well, in front of a virtual audience that is.

Since youtube does not do live streaming yet, I found a website where you can stream live, this site here:

http://www.ustream.tv/

Very cool. Brock to schedule home acoustic live shows for the live internet? Cool idea, I think.

I’ll learn how to work that site out and give it a try. If I think that site is good enough for me to use on a regular basis, I’ll start a “Kev Brock Virtual Live Music Showcase” right at my own home. Maybe I’ll schedule a live music virtual show like once a month or something. I’ll schedule a live streaming internet show, that way I can have some time to get it promoted and get people interested in seeing it.

Sounds like a cool plan to me. I’ll work on it.

“Guitar Hero: Metallica” is every metal heads dream!!!! OMG, the game is amazing!!!

Today, I just went through all the songs in the “Easy” mode in the “Quickplay” section, and I’m just speechless. This game fuckin’ blows my mind. I think this is indeed the best music video game out there. If you’re a huge fan of heavy metal like myself, you would love this. What I’m most impressed by this game is that Metallica has mostly their songs with Cliff Burton’s bass playing in them. This game has more of Burton’s bass playing than Rob and Jason’s. Which makes it kind of dissapointing that this game doesn’t have Cliff Burton as a character.

This game is a must have for all metal heads. It’s the most fun Guitar Hero game I ever played. Great job James and Lars!

Tonight’s “Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame” looks to be a killer show, way better than last years!!!!

Tonight’s performances for the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame” ceremony are being rehearsed right now as you read this, and the surprise, super star jams are already being planned out.

Billboard reports that Flea and Jimmy Page will jam along to “The Train Kept a Rolling” and “Jailhouse Rock” which will close the show for the night. Special guest performers for those songs will be…Wanda Jackson, Ron Wood, Jeff Beck, Bobby Womack, Lil Anthony and the Imperials, and Paul Shaffer (famed keyboardist from the David Letterman show).

Billboard reports:

Wow! Looking forward to it! Can’t wait to see it tonight!
