Report: Stephen King not a fan of Stephenie Meyer, master of horror bashes the “Twilight” author…

Stephen King has read the “Twilight” series by Stephenie Meyer, and get ready for some harsh criticism by the master of horror. King compared both J.K. Rowling and Stephenie Meyer by saying, “Rowling can write, Stephenie can’t”.

Twilight fans, click here to read what Stephen King have to say about Stephenie Meyer, if you dare:

As a fan of the “Twilight” series, this is hilarious coming from a guy who hasn’t written a great novel since “The Dark Tower” series and a guy who is no longer a bestselling author, sounds to me that King is a bit jealous of Stephenie’s popularity. Yeah, I’m sure Mr. King would love all the popularity that she’s getting. King should shut his mouth.

Stephenie’s a fantastic writer. He shouldn’t compare her to J.K. Rowling at all ’cause both writers have completely different styles. I’m sure Stephenie maybe a huge fan of Mr. King’s work and I’m sure his harsh critique broke her heart. His writing probably influenced her own writing as well.

Report: AICN sticks up for Christian Bale, an explanation on the tirade…

Harry Knowles of AICN explained the Christian Bale controversy and defended the guy a little bit. The reason for the tirade was that the DP lighting guy, Shane Hurlbut, was shining them huge stage lights around while Christian was filming a scene, that is what pissed Christian off.

I agree with Harry, that I think the media is exploiting Christian just to make him look bad, to make Christian look like an asshole when he really isn’t.

Report: Ac/Dc not performing at Wrestlemania…

Geez, what is this? First Mickey Rourke drops out of Wrestlemania. Now Ac/Dc announced that they are not performing there either due to their big European tour that they have a full schedule to.

More on it here:

Good for Ac/Dc. They don’t need to perform there anyway, just let WWE use their songs for the themes and that’s all the good promoting they need.

Thought: Christian Bale gone mad on set isn’t the first with actors, stop acting like it is….

Ya know, actors like Christian Bale going mad and losing his temper is nothing new in Hollywood. Why is the media acting like this is something new happened? It isn’t. Actors and actresses lose their temper all the time when something goes wrong while filming.

Even the film directors lose their tempers and go on a rage, when the actors can’t film a scene right and perfect the way the director wants it. When people go, “Oh no, Christian Bale is an asshole, what a douchebag, I had so much respect for that guy and I’m no longer a fan, waaaaah, waaah, Waaahh, etc”, that shows you have no idea how Hollywood works.

I still support Christian Bale for this. This is something called “Work”, people getting mad happen at all jobs. At your day job, I’m sure there are all kinds of yelling and screaming all the time. It’s even like that at my job sometimes with other employees. It’s the same with Hollywood.

GET OVER IT PEOPLE! Christian Bale getting mad on a job is no big deal. Stuff like this happens in every day life. People get mad, SO FUCKING WHAT! If you were an actor and some idiots in the film crew were being morons, who messed up a perfect scene that Christian nailed and then he have to film the scene over again, you’d get mad too. That’s what he was being mad about in the clip. Hint: Bale calling them “amatuers” and so on.

Not all actors are the nicest people in the world, get over it. The only reason this is made public is so the media can have something to drool over. I’m sure these hollywood stars are nice to people out in the public but when they are filming and working, it’s a different story. This ain’t a big deal and it’s ridiculous to me why this has to be media news in  the first place.

I think the main reason is that I think Christian is still upset with the death of Heath, he has never gotten over Heath’s death, as Christian and Heath were very close friends while filming “Dark Knight”.

Report: More Jason Bourne video games are on the way, possibly more Robert Ludlum novels will be made into games too…

EA Games has scored an exclusive worldwide license from Ludlum Entertainment, so they can have the rights to make games based on the Jason Bourne novels and other works by author Robert Ludlum.

The previous Bourne game “The Bourne Conspiracy” (pictured above) was made by Sierra not, EA.

More on it here:

Very cool. I’m happy for this news.

While “The Bourne Conspiracy” was a pretty fun and great game, I enjoyed it, but I’m sure EA will make the Jason Bourne games a lot better. I hope they make the next Jason Bourne game more challenging and more fun to play. I’m sure they’ll make the graphics a lot better in the next Bourne game. If they can somehow get Matt Damon for the voice overs for Bourne in the next game, that be sweet too.

BREAKING NEWS: Springsteen, Phish, Nine Inch Nails, Beastie Boys, David Byrne, and Wilco are the major headlining acts for Bonnaroo…

Yep, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will finally have their opportunity to share the stage with Phish after all these years, that will happen at Bonnaroo 2009 festival. The Bonnaroo Festival is a 4 day music fest with various stages and the festival is at Manchester, Tennessee. Festival will take place on June 11-14.

Other headlining acts are the Nine Inch Nails, Beastie Boys, David Byrne, Wilco, and more. A lot of other surprise appearances by Ben Harper, Kaki King, Merle Haggard, Rodrigo y Gabriela (an instrumental acoustic duo that plays cover songs), and many more.

See the artist lineup for Bonnaroo here:

Speaking of the Oscars…about the Dark Knight…just an observation…

Sid Ganis, the President of the Academy said, “Nominees, be warned, you’re in for a surprise”. Then he goes on explaining that they will play the nominations of the Oscars differently this year. What if…I’m saying WHAT IF!!! Somehow the Academy will take us all by surprise by somehow “secretly” sneaking in the “Dark Knight” for BEST PICTURE or other nominations? Is this a reason they’re keeping this all a secret?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm….why so serious?

Report: Oscars will be unpredictable this year, nominated winners will be played in a different game…

All the nominated celebrities…actors, film crew, attended the Academy award luncheon today in Beverly Hills, California. The president of the Academy Arts and Sciences, revealed that nominations will be played a different way for the winners this year, but he was tight lipped on the details.

Yep, that means the movie fans who are expecting the Golden Globe winners to win at the Oscars too, that may not even happen and the winners could be totally different. If you think “Slumdog Millionaire” will sweep everything or Mickey Rourke will win for “The Wrestler” at the Oscars Feb. 22nd, those things could change too. This is the Academy’s way of keeping things unpredictable.

The Associated Press reports:

http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5h1UH1OykYFwyb3y592OueHgLwMZQD963OICO0

While I would love to see “Slumdog Millionaire” sweep everything since I think it’s a wonderful film, I have a feeling it’s not going to happen. Either “Benjamin Button” or “Milk” could be the big winners that night. The Oscars this year will be unpredictable, you’ll never know who’ll be the winners.

Even Angelina and Brad could pick up a win for their roles too.

Stone Cold to have one final wrestling match at WM-25???

Rumours are swirling heavily in the world of wrestling news on the web, that Stone Cold Steve Austin may have his final and last farewell match at Wm-25, since it’s been announced he’s being inducted into the Wrestling Hall of Fame.

Behind the scenes of wrestling, it’s been said that Vince McMahon tried to sign the Rock to wrestle Stone Cold at Wm-25. “The Rock” Dwayne Johnson turned it down of course. Dwayne is too busy making movies, I think “The Rock” is done with wrestling forever. Vince tried to ask Hulk Hogan to wrestle Stone Cold at Wm-25, but of course, Hulk turned that down too

Since most the former legends do not want to wrestle Stone Cold and most of the WWE Top stars are already in other storylines, Stone Cold still has no possible opponent for Wm-25.

My question is, why is McMahon trying to get Stone Cold to wrestle another wrestling icon at Wrestlemania, when Stone Cold’s Wrestlemania oppponent should be no one other than Vince McMahon?

I think it’s appropriate that it should be Stone Cold vs. Vince for Wm-25, Stone Cold’s long time enemy, the feud that was important to the WWE in the first place.

Now, don’t get your hopes up of Stone Cold wrestling his final match at Wrestlemania ’cause it’s just a rumour at this point. I hope it’s true though, we’ll just have to wait and see, keep our fingers crossed.
