The official “Star Trek” trailer has hit the web, a bootleg trailer that is. This one is not a teaser, it’s an actual trailer with more footage from the film.
The film looks great. The way a Star Trek movie is supposed to be like. The film comes out May 8th of 2009.
Enjoy.

The F5 is a finisher that Brock Lesnar used when he was in the WWE back in the day. It’s when Lesnar picks up the opponent over his shoulders and swings him off into a circle and onto the ground. Lesnar has used his WWE tricks in UFC matches before, but he hasn’t used the F5 yet.
Check out the videos below.

With “Twilight” hitting theaters next Friday, the film makers are already moving forward to the rest of the sequels that will be adapted from the novels as well. The novels written by Stephenie Meyer, Summit Entertainment has acquired the rights to adapt “New Moon”, “Eclipse” and “Breaking Dawn” into major motion pictures. Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg who wrote the first “Twilight” movie has been signed to write “New Moon” and “Eclipse”. A writer for “Breaking Dawn” has not been found yet.
While Summit Entertainment knows that the first “Twilight” movie will be an audience full of pre-teens and twenty somethings, the film company hopes to attract the series to older audiences too from 30’s – 50’s and up. Basically, their goal is they want these films to be for people of all ages, not just for teens.

I’m glad the sequels to the books are being made into films too. Good to hear. Although, I’m still in the middle reading “Eclipse”, I haven’t gotten around to get back into reading it, I’ve been busy. I’m glad I’m reading the books before the sequels of the films come out though.
I really am looking forward to seeing “Twilight” in theater next weekend and I probably will end up liking it a lot. We get too many fantasy and children stuff for all ages like “Chronicles of Narnia”, “Lord of the Rings”, “Star Wars”, “Harry Potter”, etc. But there’s never anything dark and never has anything to do with the horror genre, Stephenie Meyer finally brought that to us, a horror genre for people of all ages!!! Thank you Stephenie! That is why I love her for this!

Now that all three members of the Jimi Hendrix Experience are gone will Mitch Mitchell’s tour with the Experience Hendrix go on without him? The Experience Hendrix tour like I said, it’s a tour where many different special guest musicians play various instruments to tribute the music of Jimi Hendrix. The tours over the years had many different guitarists from Jonny Lang to Kenny Wayne Shepherd to Brad Whitford and the list goes on.
I wonder if the Experience Hendrix tour will live on without Jimi, Noel, and Mitch. I personally think the “Experience Hendrix” tour will be going on forever nonstop. The Experience Hendrix will tour every year special guesting many different musicians. It’s a good way to keep the Hendrix legacy alive and strong so of course they’ll keep the tours going.
I’m a huge Jimi Hendrix addict myself. He’s one of my musical heroes, I’ll never get tired of listening to his music. He’s one of the main guys that made me want to pick up the guitar in the first place.

So Americans want to end the war soon and fast? Well, don’t get your hopes up, ’cause ending the war will not happen anytime soon no matter if President Obama tries to stop it or not.
Obama is wasting his time on politics and trying to get the economy to go strong, when money isn’t important. What is more important is protecting America from evil. Do you see Obama doing that right away? If McCain/Palin was elected President, Bin Laden would have been captured or even killed right about now. Well, Bin Laden is still out there.
The CIA says that Bin Laden is isolated from the Al Qaeda operation, meaning kept away and being alone for his own protection and safety. Being seperated from one another. It means Bin Laden is in a good hiding spot where he can’t be found at all but he is still alive and well.
More on it here:

If McCain was elected, he’d get right to work to hunt down Bin Laden right away but Obama is about “change” in the country, not about protecting and saving America.
I wonder what President Obama will say about this news. He’ll probably ignore it and concentrate on “change” in the country just for his own ego.

First Joaquin Phoenix backed out on Hollywood movies out of the blue, Angelina Jolie maybe the next in line. She is thinking about quitting acting in movies too. The reason? Family. Yep, with 6 kids she’s taking care of and wanting a lot more is what made her want to quit movies soon.
She plans on working throughout the month of Feb. (which I imagine she’ll be filming that action/thriller “Salt” around that time) and then she’ll take a year off, so for right now, she’s not quitting for good.
More on it here:

Even if she’s one of my top favorite actresses, I love her acting in movies to death, I’m all for her quitting, sure. When she’s a rich woman, she can have as many kids as she wants. She became too big of a star these days that she don’t really need to do any movies at all, I can totally understand her why she wants to back down.
I wonder if Brad would continue working even for his family life too? I’m sure he’ll speak out on this soon. Both Brad and Angelina are talented actors. I like Brad’s work too. He’s starred in a lot of really really good movies such as “Sleepers”, “Meet Joe Black”, “Fight Club”, “Se7en”, “The Ocean’s trilogy”, “Twelve Monkeys”, etc. He too also had his share of starring in some pretty bad films like “The Mexican” and “Burn After Reading” were both horrible films. His new film “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” doesn’t look too interesting to me either so I’ll wait on DVD for that one.
I’m dissapointed that Joaquin Phoenix is quitting movies as I want Phoenix to continue, but I don’t really care if Angelina and Brad backs out though.

I am not much of a UFC fan but I’m slowly starting to watch it more often. I am curious to see this match. Legend vs. Icon, Randy Couture the Legend and Brock Lesnar a wrestling icon. Brock Lesnar a young fighter in his 30’s has only been in UFC for a short time and he already gets a huge opportunity at the Heavyweight title against one of the biggest legends in UFC.
This fight is going to be interesting and I will definitely be watching this Saturday night. This will be an unpredictable match because both dudes are huge and both are pretty tough. It will be brutal and there will be a lot of brawling. Will Lesnar become the new Champ or will Couture retain? You just never know what will happen.
My prediction? I think Lesnar will get it.

Jimmy Page has been pretty quiet about the rumours of Led Zeppelin touring without Robert Plant. The man finally speaks out after all this time, with Pagey sayin’ that Led Zeppelin will not tour under the name of Led Zeppelin with no Robert Plant. One of Pagey’s spokespersons sent out a statement to Rollingstone saying, “Whatever this is, it is not LED ZEPPELIN. Not without the involvement of Robert Plant.” Still not revealing on who the new singer will be. This means that Pagey, Jonesy, Bonham and who ever the new singer will be will tour under a different band name. Not under the Led Zeppelin name.
I’m sure they’ll still play Led Zeppelin songs and the bands new material but not under the name of Led Zeppelin.

Look like they are getting close to announcing the new singer. I am predicting they will announce the new singer and new band name sometime before the Holidays around Christmas time.
I’m all for this new band, I’m looking forward to hearing what new songs Pagey has up in his sleeve.
What’s hilarious about this whole thing is, that everybody thought Led Zeppelin really were going to tour under the name Led Zeppelin without Robert Plant when I know that is something Pagey wouldn’t do. He isn’t that stupid, you think? And they all call themselves Led Zeppelin fans, LOL! I always knew that Pagey wouldn’t go under the Led Zeppelin name without Robert Plant and I’ve been saying it in the blog for a very long time. Pagey knows Plant is Led Zep, he ain’t dumb.
