What I liked about the Milo and Bill Maher interview on HBO…

When it was said that Bill Maher just booked Milo Yiannopoulos for his “Real Time” show on HBO for a special interview segment, it’s been expected by Trump supporters that Milo was gonna send Bill to smackdown hotel. Ya know, Milo give Bill a verbal beatdown but many Trump supporters were disappointed that the interview didn’t turn out to be that way. Instead, Milo and Bill were very nice and friendly to each other. The debate turned out to be very “civilized” which to me is amazing.

Trump supporters seem disappointed in Milo for this but I think this is great. Ya know? I think heated debates and controversial political discussions are getting old and tiresome. It doesn’t hurt to get along for once. Yes, it is very possible that a conservative can get along with a liberal quite well and this is proof of it.

While Bill Maher is a very liberal guy, I have no problem with him. Bill is actually one of the very few liberals who is actually pretty cool. Why? Probably because Bill is more tolerant to others views and beliefs. Watch his show for proof on that. Bill has interviewed other conservatives on his show lots of times and he allowed them to speak their minds.

This is what a civilized liberal vs. conservative debate looks like, folks. Tolerance. We need more of it especially online.

Everyone wants to view Milo as this “controversial” person but once you actually see him, you’ll be disappointed that he turned out not controversial at all. You’ll immediately see that Milo is a likeable person after all. Milo seems like a nice guy and down to earth to me. I don’t see how Milo is “controversial”. He just a Trump supporter like the rest of us. Milo is just speaking all the same things we’ve all been thinking.

I’m tired of the media and liberals trying to paint conservatives as “controversial” when we are not actually that at all. We’re just regular people just like you and me. Enough with the labelling.

I think Bill looks surprised when he saw that Milo isn’t “controversial”, you can tell by the look on Bill’s face. Bill is looking at Milo like: “Woah, this is not the Milo that I thought he was”. They ended up being friendly together.

This was a great interview. I really enjoyed it. I’m a huge fan of Milo. I’m not gay at all, I’m perfectly straight but I just admire how he’s not afraid to speak his mind however he wants to. Milo is the shit. I’ll be buying his book when it comes out this year for sure.

Sturgill Simpson’s “Sailor’s Guide To Earth” should have won Album of the Year at the Grammy’s instead of Adele…

Earlier today I listened to Sturgill Simpson’s “Sailor’s Guide To Earth” album and I was so fucking impressed by it. That album was pretty amazing. LOVED IT! Sturgill’s music is country a little bit but he also adds in other genres of music into his work. I just love his singing voice and his backup band makes some very good music as well.

I think his album should have won “Album of the Year” at the Grammy’s instead of Adele. Of course, the Grammy’s always have to pick Adele ’cause well, she’s Adele. Anyway, “Sailor’s Guide to Earth” by Sturgill Simpson was an incredible album. Think I’m gonna be listening to it a lot for sure. Sturgill’s music is so different. Can’t even describe the genre he plays really. They call him a country artist and roots rock but I hear a lot of jazz & blues in his music too.

“Sailor’s Guide to Earth” is a great album and you should give it a listen too. As a matter of fact, I never heard of this Sturgill Simpson guy before until he got nominated for “Album of the Year” for this record. I thought he was just another typical pop artist but it turns out he wasn’t that. He’s an artist with real talent. A guy who plays his own instruments and writes his own songs while the other artists in the “Album of the Year” category didn’t write their own songs.

I was surprised how great “Sailor’s Guide” was and I would like to see Sturgill Simpson live in concert someday. So glad I discovered this guy’s music. I really dig this song he did called “Call to Arms”… in the song sends a political message but still though the song is so fucking tight. Love it. Enjoy.

I have quite a gear collection as a musician so I guess I am a gearhead???

So I have 4 guitars (2 acoustic and 2 electrics), 2 electric guitar amps, a small p.a. system, an audio interface, studio monitors (or speakers), a mic preamp (which I’ve never used yet), 5 guitar pedals, a mic stand, a music stand and pop filter for mic.

That’s an alright gear collection but I could use more, though. I plan on buying more electric guitars somewhere down the road. I’ll need a solid body electric and I’m gonna try to find one with a whammy bar ’cause I want to experiment with whammy tricks. I want to get more electric guitars for different sounds and stuff. I’m also planning to buy one more guitar amp which I’m looking for an acoustic amp, not an electric amp. I would also need a MIDI controller too which I’m planning to get soon. I’m also planning on starting a big guitar pedal collection ’cause I need more sounds: Delay, chorus, echo, fuzz, Octave pedal, etc.

I’m gonna keep my focus on electric guitar this year ’cause I want focus on rock guitar. I want to start writing original rock n’ roll songs. Plus, I’ll learn more electric rock covers from my favorite bands like I’ll learn all the riffs and solos from Led Zeppelin, Megadeth, Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, etc. Maybe I’ll go even further and learn some shred guitar songs by Joe Satriani ’cause I’ve always wanted to learn “Satch Boogie” and “Surfing With the Alien”. Maybe I’ll try to learn Van Halen’s “Eruption” too. I’m just getting so bored of acoustic and wanna switch to electric full time. Electric guitar is awesome and wanna focus on that.

Back to buying musicians gear, I love buying more music gear when I can. I’m planning to look for full time work this year and that way I can save up for music gear a lot quicker.

Just bought Joy Villa’s “I Make the Static” EP from Itunes…

https://twitter.com/KBrocking/status/832744700691886081

Well, the singer/songwriter by the name of Joy Villa… the one who stood up for us Trump supporters at the Grammy’s by simply wearing a MAGA dress. Well since she was courageous enough to help stand up for us, I decided to return the favor and support her in return. Just bought her 5 track EP, “I Make The Static”. She doesn’t have a full album out yet but just an EP out for now. I’m sure she’ll make a full length album pretty soon. Her music is pretty good. Listened to some of it in youtube so I ended up getting her EP. She does have a great singing voice.

I also bought 5 other albums from Itunes as well:

  • Sturgill Simpson “A Sailor’s Guide To Earth”
  • Gojira “Magma”
  • Kristen Capolino “These Days” (a local artist who I’m a fan of, she’s a young shred guitar virtuoso around the area)
  • David Bowie (his 1967 self titled debut album)
  • Alexander O’ Neal “Hearsay”

I’ve gotten into Sturgill Simpson music lately ’cause I really dig his music so I bought his latest album. The Gojira album “Magma” has been getting a lot of great reviews in the metal world so I decided to get that album for myself as I am a huge fan of metal. David Bowie, I’m still trying to collect his entire discography of studio albums… I really want his whole collection of music. Alexander O’ Neal is an R&B and pop artist who I’ve gotten into as recommended by a friend of mine and I really dig his stuff.

Once again, the variety of genres. I like to listen to all sorts of music. That’s just me.

I’ve noticed a big difference between Obama and Trump press conferences…

So earlier this morning I’ve watched Trump’s first solo press conference as a president from yesterday. Trump calling out the media in person to their faces was glorious, indeed.

However, though, have you noticed the difference between the Trump press conference and Obama press conference? Watch the two videos above and try to compare them if you would. They are both pretty different with the way the press reacts to the president.

With Obama press conferences, all the reporters did was kiss Obama’s ass most of the time. It seems that the reporters questions were carefully picked by the Obama administration as if the whole press conference was scripted almost. The reporters had to be kind to Barack.

When it comes to a president Trump press conference, reporters get so aggressive to the president. A lot of whining and moaning. Instead, the president puts the media on defense… making them look weak.

All this shows is how one-sided and liberal biased the media really is. They are only in bed with liberal political figures but hate everything conservative.

It is interesting though how at a Trump press conference, the media doesn’t like to be called, “Fake News”. The media then begs for respect and cries “Freedom of speech”. Hey media, like I said in a post before, you totally deserved that verbal smackdown by Trump. President Trump made it clear throughout that press conference that he doesn’t mind negative reporting against him, he just wants their stories to be truthful but they never are. All the fake news media does is slander him most of the time and you expect him not to respond? Really?

The media needs to realize that respect is earned and the American people doesn’t respect the fake news MSM at all. It’s why we all voted for Trump ’cause we’re all fed up with the MSM.

President Trump called out the media again on twitter today, he tweeted out this:

I totally agree with that tweet.

While the media are trying their best to be an enemy to Trump… how much do you want to bet that they don’t realize that they are an enemy to all of us? The American People? The mainstream media thinks we’re all stupid and gullible but we’re not. We’re not going to vote for Hillary because they want us to. The American people should decide who to vote for, not the media.

Trump is right they are doing a great disservice to our country all the way.

However, there are still a lot of people that still believes everything the media says which is mostly liberals and some independent voters.

Hey media, if you don’t want Trump calling you our and if you want your respect back then why don’t you be honest for once? Get rid of the liberal bias and be honest on both sides of the spectrum. That’s why we all turn to Breitbart news and yes, Fox News too ’cause there’s no liberal bias in any of them.

The media lied to get Barack Obama elected. They tried that again with Hillary but it didn’t work this time.

If you guys in the MSM want your ratings back then bring back real journalism and stop trying to ram liberalism down our throats. We’re fed up with it. Keep it up, media. Once again, you’ll lose the 2020 election and will never see a Democrat president ever again.

President Trump gives fake news media a verbal beatdown during press conference… the media totally deserved that though…

16729500_10158628155215354_3240104035038354584_n.jpg

I didn’t watch today’s press conference with President Trump bashing the media directly to their faces but I did read a lot about it, though. What Trump did was just glorious. This is the kind of Trump that we all love. It’s what we all voted him for pretty much. We love Trump ’cause we love him being the “tough guy”. Trump being the tough guy is a huge part of how he won the election to begin with.

The media spent a whole year or more during the primaries, bashing and attacking Trump like mad. Now that Trump is president, the media still won’t leave him alone. Now that Trump is president, the media is more aggressive than ever before. Well Trump finally couldn’t take their crap anymore and gave them a verbal smackdown during press conference earlier today.

I haven’t watched it yet ’cause I was busy doing other things but I’ll get around to watching on youtube tonight. I’m sure it’s real good.

I love it. When Trump calls out the media, the media predictably runs away and cry like babies. They don’t like being called “Fake News” and they don’t like Trump calling them out. They also cry “Freedom of speech” and “Freedom of the press”. Well fake news media, you’re the one that wasted all that time bashing the man, how else do you want him to respond? Freedom of speech works both ways and he has the freedom of speech to respond to you however he wants to. You so-called journalists deserved that verbal smackdown earlier today, totally.

You know how when an internet cyberbully picks on someone and then that person calls out the cyberbully… then the cyberbully all of a sudden plays innocent victim? It’s the same thing that goes on here. The bully always plays the innocent victim when they are called out by someone. The bully is the media. They’ve always been bullies and troublemakers since the 2008 elections when Barack Obama got elected.

The media are this new generation of “tabloid” news. Quite sad. It’s amazing how dishonest the media is. They’ve been dishonest for over a decade. It’s nothing new. This is a huge part of why most Americans are all for Trump ’cause we’re fed up with the media’s crap.

Even though I admittedly still read the news on the internet, I don’t watch the news on TV, though. I don’t watch NBC, CNN or any of that garbage. Honestly, though, I do find myself watching Fox News more and more ’cause they are more honest than liberal networks. Love ’em or hate ’em, Fox News are the only real journalists left. I don’t watch a lot of FOX News but I do like to watch a few shows on there like Sean Hannity and “Justice” with Jeanine Pirro.

Our news media is so corrupt. They were the reasons why Trump won the election, they helped him. Keep up the hating and the negativity. Trump will win the 2020 re-election and you will never see a Democrat president ever again after that.

During national concerts, you don’t have to worry about forgetting lyrics anymore… thanks for lyrics teleprompters on stage…

I remember in the old days in national concerts, national bands had to memorize lyrics. The beauty of performing live is that you don’t always have to be perfect. You’re gonna forget lyrics, mispronounce words by mistake, you’ll stutter a lot, etc. If you watch famous rock bands play live in youtube, if you look carefully you’ll see a lyrics teleprompter in front of the stage. It’s one of the reasons national concerts sucks these days, ya know? They want everything to be perfect.

These days musicians don’t need to memorize lyrics anymore when performing live. For national musicians, they use lyrics teleprompters. For local and unsigned musicians, they use either Ipads, music stands to set notebooks on ’em, etc. It’s crazy.

Musicians and artists these days are getting even more lazy to memorize lyrics themselves. With me, I’ve always loved to memorize lyrics for songs. When I first started performing live, I started out reading off a music stand but I don’t do that anymore. I like to memorize lyrics by heart which is how it should be. At live shows, I’m gonna mess up lyrics by forgetting them and stuff but again that’s the beauty of “live” performing.

Reading lyrics while singing is not live performing, in my opinion. Sorry but it isn’t. Just get on stage and play what you got. If you mess up? Who cares, the audience is not gonna notice anyways!

Video: Joy Villa gives you advice on how to stay above haters as a performing artist…

I remember when I put out a demo CD in 2006 and started to play a lot of gigs for it, I’ve gotten so many haters, critics and bullies for sure. I’ve gotten so many haters online and offline. This Joy Villa woman who wore the “MAGA” dress at the Grammy’s gives you advice on how to stay above your haters and critics. As music artists, we’re all gonna get ’em. Every artist have their own share of haters, it’s not only me. You just have to learn to stay above ’em.

I almost gave up performing live only because I’ve had too many people negatively criticize me which I should never have. If I want to perform live shows, I can do that as much as I please even if people don’t like it. I love performing live in front of an audience. I haven’t done that in a long time and want to do it again. Yeah, if I ever get back out in the Capital Region music scene performing gigs and open mics again, I’ll probably continue to get a lot of haters but that’s okay. I’ll just learn to stay above ’em and brush ’em off. That’s what this lady said in this video, “Brush ’em off like they’re nothing”. You’re in control of your own life, do what you wanna do and fuck everybody’s feelings.

I’ve had so many people doubt my goals and dreams. I’ve had a lot of people in my life who didn’t support my music much including some friends and family members. Yeah when you want to become a performing artist, you’re going to get a lot of haters. Just ignore them.

I continue to get a lot of haters now. I have other musicians that hates me but that’s okay. I get all kinds of anonymous attacks online but I’m good at ignoring that stuff these days. I just delete and block the trolls.

I’m a musician, singer, guitar player and songwriter. It’s what I do. I will never give it up just because people tell me I can’t do it.

Do I want to get rich and famous off of what I do? No not really but I do want to become the best musician I can possibly be. That’s my goal and if it bothers people, that’s tough. They might think I’m arrogant and egotistical about it sure but there’s nothing wrong with feeling that you are a good musician.

Do whatcha wanna do in your life. Some of your dreams and goals whatever they are might hurt other people but who cares. There are other goals I have other than music like I want to get my license and car one of these days is one of them and have other goals too.

Whenever you want to have a goal there will always be someone who will call you delusional and say you can’t get there. For example, in fitness people criticize me that all the time too. They said I can’t get big and muscular, be in the best shape of my life well look at me now. Still have a lot of work to do in bodybuilding & fitness but I like what I have now.

Once again, do whatcha wanna do and fuck everyone’s feelings. Only you are in control of your life.

Thoughts on singer/songwriter, Joy Villa wearing a Trump “MAGA” dress at the Grammy’s…

This is pretty amazing and this was a very courageous thing for this beautiful woman to do. Of course, it’s pissing off all the liberals and the snowflakes. A lot of liberals on the internet going, “You right-wingers tell stars to keep politics out of music but when stars go pro-Trump, you love them for it”.

Well, music stars and celebrities showing their support for Trump publicly is not political. What they do is try to stand up for something they believe in. Not being afraid of “free speech” and staying above the negativity & hate that the left spews out all the time. This is about unity and positivity which is what Trump’s campaign was about all along.

This gorgeous woman makes me proud to be a Trump supporter even more. Yeah, people gave me a lot of shit for being a Trump supporter but this woman is inspiring me to stay above that stuff. That’s what the message she was trying to send. To rise above the haters and bullies in this world.

The liberal crybaby haters and snowflakes out there are living in a delusional fantasy world that her music career is over just because she publicly came out in support of Trump. Well, they are delusional ’cause Joy’s albums are skyrocketing.

http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2017/02/13/singer-joy-villa-wears-trump-dress-to-grammys.html

She also gained a lot more popularity and fans. I listened to her “Vagabonds” song in youtube and it’s a pretty cool song. I’ll probably get her latest EP.

Those Trump haters and snowflakes believe that if you are pro-Trump, you lose a lot of respect and your reputation is ruined if you support Trump. No. You see, that’s what the media wants you to believe. It’s actually a good thing to support Trump

Whenever I write and release new songs, will my music life be over only because I support Trump? I predict no. It’s a possibility that even more people will listen to my music when I get new stuff out there. Maybe this is why the local music scene in Albany refuses to promote my music ’cause of my “right-wing” political beliefs as I know how left-wing this music scene is. I’ll have another blog post on this soon.

Anyway, back to Joy Villa this woman is awesome and she just got herself a new fan which is me. She has my back and full support 100%.

Thoughts on Metallica and Gaga performing together, having technical issues with microphone… also, more thoughts on the Grammy’s show last night…

I think the goal with this collaboration is that James and Lady Gaga were to trade vocal lines back and forth in the first verses before the chorus… then they would sing the chorus together. However, though, James was having technical issues with the mic. He tried singing the first verses but he couldn’t hear anything coming out of it. So while James was having technical issues during the first verses, Gaga sung her lines of what she was supposed to sing anyways. During that performance, you can immediately tell that James was pissed as fuck. Out of frustration, he gave up on that mic and him and Gaga shared a mic together. Then when the sound guy finally fixed the mic, James went back to his mic and sung the second verses this time.

A lot of people online are unfairly blaming Metallica for this but the way I see it, this was not their fault at all. It’s just that the Grammy’s hired a crappy sound guy and they had amatuer-ish stage technicians. Don’t blame Metallica, blame the Grammy’s. It was totally their fault.

After this, I think Metallica will soon put out a statement and talk about what happened. Then Metallica and Gaga will perform this song again together at one of their concerts for their “Hardwired” US tour so they can have a better performance, I’m sure that will happen.

People are hating Metallica even more after that performance and I can’t understand why. Metallica continues to have a lot of haters but I always respected that band and always will. People’s hatred for them got worse after that performance.

Other than the technical issues, it proved that James Hetfield can really sing and he’s no lip syncer at all. Same with Gaga, she’s a real singer as well and I loved how she looks like she’s having a blast performing with them ’cause she seems like a real Metallica fan too. I think Lady Gaga is winning my respect back and I think I’ll go back to supporting her music again. Remember, don’t blame Metallica for this ’cause the Grammy’s had technical issues throughout the show. They were horrible.

Other than that, last night’s Grammy awards was surprisingly a pretty good show. They kept politics out of things for the most part except for Katy Perry who went political about Trump’s border wall and immigration predictably so screw Katy Perry. Also, The Grammy’s president Neil Portnow went on a political rant about how President Trump needs to protect the arts and I’m like “what?”.

I thought the best performances of the night were Beyonce and Bruno Mars’s Prince tribute. Both were pretty amazing, I thought. Yeah, I know I gave Beyonce a lot of shit over the years but she kept her political messages out of things for once and that was good enough to have a change of heart with her. She didn’t bash Trump at all which I was surprised about. She focused on the performance which was actually interesting. As far as Bruno Mars goes, I was never a fan of that guy but I’m starting to like him more and actually thinking about buying his music soon. I thought Chance the Rapper was pretty good too.

I’m glad they gave “Record of the Year” and “Album of the Year” to Adele ’cause “25” is a good album as I have that album in my CD collection. I have all of Adele’s albums. She’s my favorite artist too.

As far as James Corden goes, the Grammy’s host, I was surprised that he didn’t go political at all. Didn’t bash Trump or anything like that. He focused on making people laugh and telling jokes which is what he was supposed to do. James Corden did a good job and I enjoyed watching him.

It was surprisingly a pretty good “Grammy’s” night. Better than last year’s anyways and I think they’re improving.
