Not a Cool Video: Susan Boyle wasn’t lip synching? Really? Of course, she was!!!

The internet is buzzing about this today, Susan Boyle choking during “O Holy Night” on the View. People immediately think it wasn’t a lip synched performance ’cause she stopped the singing in the middle of the song.

For proof that she was lip synching, at about 0:54, she makes this weird face while she was singing, as she made that face, her voice kept going. It definitely wasn’t live ’cause ABC didn’t air the whole performance, which I’m willing to bet they edited out the part where she really messed up.

I don’t think you need more proof than that, do ya?

For the record, I don’t hate John Cena…

Seriously, I don’t hate John Cena. I’ll admittedly respect him. This is the god honest truth. I don’t hate Cena, I just want WWE to stop using him so much. Cut Cena some slack and give someone else a chance to hit the superstar, big time.

I know a lot of people hate Cena, but in reality, he is one performer that should be respected. WWE uses him a lot for a reason. As long as he’s getting a mix of boos and cheers from the crowds, that’s the reason right there WWE keeps using him. If nobody cared, then WWE wouldn’t continue to push him. Like it or not, Cena has gotten bigger than the Rock and Stone Cold. Maybe not bigger than Hogan, but Cena definitely topped the Rock and Stone Cold for sure. You can’t deny that Cena did have some brilliant and historic ppv matches.

John Cena matches are best when he has them against Randy Orton. Cena did come a long way. People accuse Cena of knowing just a few moves but if people get their facts straight, Cena has years of wrestling experience before he signed to WWE back in 2002. In the year 2000, Cena went to, “Ultimate University” which is a wrestling school, the school where he learned it all from. He then went to OVW wrestling to train for WWE. I’m pretty sure he knows plenty of wrestling moves, he’s pretty skilled. He just uses the few that is right for the character he plays on RAW.

Watch these videos, the early days of John Cena before WWE, I’ll post his WWE debut too. Notice how Cena’s wrestling style is different back then? Notice how he was a better wrestler in the old days?

Cena didn’t become an icon for nothing. It took him a long road to get where he is today. As you can see, Cena and Orton go way back.

Report: Will Bret “The Hitman” Hart ever work for TNA someday?

Since a lot of former WCW and WWE guys are working for TNA wrestling, that made wrestling fans wonder if Bret “The Hitman” Hart will ever work for TNA Impact someday. Will he ever? Well in this article, Bret has some positive things to say about TNA and not so positive things about TNA.

The positive? Bret says that TNA is more of a wrestling show because of the company’s lighter schedule than WWE. He says TNA is a serious rival against WWE, but doesn’t put the blame on the actual wrestlers. He also says good things about TNA star, Samoa Joe, who is the top star of the company right now and he worries that Hulk Hogan might take Samoa Joe’s spotlight if he has a match against him.

The negative? Well Bret slams Hogan and Bischoff. Explaining his experiences with Hogan and Bischoff when they worked together for WCW. Bret never got along with Hogan and Bischoff in WCW behind the scenes. He also says that Hogan believes in his heart that he is the star of the show and he is wrestling, which is a polite way of saying that Hogan is an egomaniac. Bret reveals that he will not work for TNA as long as Hogan and Bischoff are still working for them. Bret may consider working for TNA, whenever Hogan and Bischoff leaves.

Read more on what Bret have to say, here.

Can’t blame Bret, so good on him. Notice how a lot of other wrestlers hate Hogan and Bischoff in real life. Hogan and Bischoff have huge egos ’cause they think they are pioneers of wrestling, they think they started it all. Hulk Hogan didn’t invent professional wrestling, he only helped make it mainstream. I’ve always been a Hogan hater myself. There are other wrestlers that are more legendary than him.

In my opinion, Mick Foley, is the one that made professional wrestling to what it is today. Not Hogan.

TV shows being talked about in the world of social networking…

In social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter, people all over would talk about  what TV shows are currently on that are so great. People will talk about American Idol, Glee, Dancing with the Stars, V, Heroes, Lost, Dexter, etc. You name it. I say to myself, “Wow, people watch a lot of TV” lately, huh? Not me. I hardly watch any of it. I spend most of my time either playing guitar, working out, playing video games or just watch movies.

I only watch a few shows and only watch TV at night. Only stuff I watch on TV are professional wrestling, UFC, NFL Football, late night talk shows like Conan/Jimmy Fallon, “The Event” on NBC, and now I got turned on to watching, “The Walking Dead” on AMC. How did I hear about the show? Well, facebook and twitter of course. I’ve grown into watching the show by seeing people talking about it online. Since it’s a horror fiction show and it has zombies in it, I’m like, I gotta check this show out myself.

Turns out to be a really really good show. Last night’s episode, “Wildfire” is just the best of the series so far. There’s one more episode of this sadly, ’cause Season 1 only has six episodes, but there  will be a lot more for Season 2, thankfully. “The Walking Dead” is good storytelling. Best TV show in a long time and ranked high up in my top 5.

I’m not so big on TV, but once in a while, there will be a really good prime time drama show that comes around. I’m already looking forward for the “Walking Dead”, to come out on DVD.

R.I.P.: Irvin Kershner 1923 – 2010

Legendary film director, Irvin Kershner, most famous for his work in, “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back” also passed away over the weekend. Kershner has been directing films since the ’50’s but didn’t become recognizable when he was hired to direct Star Wars. After “Empire Strikes Back”, he directed the Sean Connery 007 film, “Never Say Never”. He appeared as an actor in, “The Last Temptation of Christ”. He then directed, “Robocop 2” which was his final film of his career. When he retired from film making, he directed an NBC sci fi TV series, “Sea Quest”, which only lasted 3 seasons.

Today is another sad loss for the movie industry. RIP Kersh. “Empire Strikes Back” is my favorite Star Wars movie ever made.

Cool Video: John Cena to come back to WWE under a new gimmick, Juan Cena…

How will John Cena come back to WWE TV after being fired by the Anonymous General Manager and Wade Barrett of the Nexus? Cena will be coming back under a new gimmick. He will be disguised in a Mexican costume and will be renamed, Juan Cena. A Mexican gimmick. It’s to hide the John Cena identity, as a way to come back to WWE to feud with the Nexus some more.

Remember, the Hulk Hogan/Mr. America storyline? It’s the same thing as that. As usual, the WWE can never come up with original storylines, they just keep rehashing old ones.

Here’s the Juan Cena, theme song, a Mexican version of John’s original version.

I love how some people online, think John Cena is really fired, when it’s all part of a storyline and part of a script. John’s not really fired. Remember, WWE has done this “you’re fired” storyline to many superstars in the past: Stone Cold, Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, etc. Again, nothing new, rehashing old storylines.

Cena will probably be on RAW tonight. Not sure if he will be in this new gimmick yet though.

Edit to add:

Here’s John Cena as the Juan Cena masked gimmick at a RAW House show, a non televised event….

R.I.P.: Leslie Nielsen 1926 – 2010

Some very sad news to report in the world of entertainment. Comic legend, Leslie Nielsen passes away today. He is most famous for starring in films such as “Airplane” and the “Naked Gun” trilogy. Leslie Nielsen first began his acting career working for television, he got his start by starring in a TV show, called, “Television’s Golden Age” and went on to a major starring role in the classic sci-fi film, “Forbidden Planet”. In 1956, he made his acting debut for the big screen in a movie called, “Ransom!”. While he did work on a lot of films over the years, he didn’t become recognizable until the movie, “Airplane”, obviously. He also had a role in Stephen King’s, “Creepshow” directed by, George A. Romero. He became a household name when he did, “The Naked Gun” trilogy in the early 90’s. What else? He also played Dracula for, “Dracula: Dead & Loving It” and he was President Harris in “Scary Movie 3”.

One of my favorite projects he has done, was when he made his own videos spoofing professional golf with videos such as “Bad Golf My Way” and “Bad Golf Made Easier”. Leslie Nielsen was a hero and inspiration to me. I watched all of his movies and looked after him for years. He was such a talented and funny man. He will certainly be missed. May him rest in peace.

Thought: this RAW Anonymous GM crap needs to end already!!!

Yep, like everyone else, I’m getting a bit tired of this RAW Anonymous GM thing keep dragging on. How much longer is WWE going to keep doing this? I think they will reveal the GM sometime before the next Royal Rumble which will be in January. After thinking about it a while, I don’t think the GM will be John Cena ’cause it wouldn’t make any sense since the GM just fired him story wise. I bet the WWE is being careful on this Anonymous GM. The WWE wants the GM to be someone unexpecting. Someone unpredictable. A lot of wrestling fans are naming all these wrestlers that could possibly be the RAW GM: The Rock, Triple H, Foley, The McMahon’s, Eugene, etc. I don’t think it’ll be any of those guys. Why? Because it will be too expecting. WWE don’t want to ruin surprises. I’m sure the WWE writers have been keeping an eye on the internet. Trying to see what fans pick that are most popular with wrestler choices for the GM. After all these popular names that fans have been naming for RAW GM, WWE could go for none of them.

What are some unexpecting names that WWE could bring in as the new GM, to shock all of us? Who knows. Maybe the GM could be Matt Hardy. Matt has been released from the WWE but it could be a storyline. What about others? Hmmmmm, what if the GM is Dave Batista? Jonathan Coachman, the former RAW announcer?

Hell, the WWE could even make Jake the Snake Roberts or Macho Man Randy Savage the RAW GM. What about Rowdy Roddy Piper and the Miller Dollar Man? The GM could be anybody.

Cool Video: Introducing my cousin’s new band, East Bound Jesus!!!

The reason my blog has been slow this weekend is because, I went to a local music show in Greenwich last night. I didn’t play, just went there to support and enjoy the live music. I videotaped the show. It was an event called, “Hootenanny” at a venue called, Burton Hall in Greenwich. “Hootenanny” is a local show that featured folk, country and bluegrass musicians. My cousin’s new band, is called, East Bound Jesus. I videotaped the entire show last night. East Bound Jesus is a country and western band as you can hear. Yes, my cousin Adam, is a huge fan of that genre, believe it or not.

This is what I want to be doing one day. Get my own band going and play on stage with a full band like these guys are doing. I’ll have my own band someday. I really want it to happen.

Enjoy these videos.
