I'm a musician, singer/songwriter, blogger, writer, poet, bodybuilder, movie lover, music lover, video gamer, history/political buff, conservative/republican, etc. I like to do a lot of things.
Just not too long ago, Geena Davis expressed interest that she wants to do another “Beetlejuice” film. Well, Michael Keaton himself heard the news. The great news is, that Michael Keaton is still interested in reprising his iconic character, Beetlejuice. He said he would do it in a heartbeat if Tim Burton does another one.
Earlier this week, rumours hit hard on the next “Indiana Jones” plot that it was going to be about the Bermuda Triangle. Turns out it’s just a bullshit rumour. Frank Marshall the producer, took to his twitter page to squash the rumours.
Thank god it’s not true. I didn’t like the Bermuda Triangle plot anyways.
I would prefer the next Indy movie to focus on something serious. I’d still stand by it that if George and Steve wants the next Indy movie to be successful, they need to make the next one more like “Raiders”. If they make it a popcorn flick again, they will get another backlash by haters. Make the next Indy movie like “Raiders” where fans can be happy.
Disney studios has greenlighted the new “Muppet” movie to hit theaters Dec. 25th of 2011. Even if the plot/synopsis has not yet been revealed, lets just hope it’s NOT another Christmas Muppets movie. We already had two of those. One of them was the Muppets remake of “A Christmas Carol” and the other was “Letters from Santa” the TV movie. Do we really need a third Muppets Christmas? Let’s hope it ain’t another Christmas film. I’m a huge fan of the Muppets by the way, always have been.
So today this afternoon, I finally finished “God of War III”. I played the game in Easy mode, and then Chaos mode, the difficult level. Yep, I finished the game in Chaos mode. It took me longer to beat ’cause the battles are longer and much more challenging. Overall, I find the game pretty impressive. Graphics are great, music is great, and the story is great, but what impressed me the most is the gameplay. The gameplay is pretty amazing and brutal. Lots of blood and gore, and nasty moves that might make your stomach upset.
There are a couple of dissapointments though. 1. The game is way too short, only 9 chapters. 2. The ending was dissapointing and could have been better. 3. This is the final and last God of War game ever.
Will there be a God of War IV game down the road? I think there will be.
I watched the behind the scenes featurettes in “God of War III” game and I didn’t know that Marvel’s, Stan Lee, helped them out with the game. He just pitched in ideas and gave them advice of what Stan Lee liked and didn’t like about the game. Also, celebrities, Rip Torn and Malcolm McDowell did voice overs for two different characters which is cool.
Everybody thinks Kratos is the hero of these games…but when you play God of War III, you would find out that Kratos was actually evil after all this time. It’s not really a spoiler ’cause there was already evidence of that from the first two games. God of War III was great and a blast to play. Chaos mode wasn’t exactly all that hard, you just got to have skill, patience, practice and intelligence to get good at it. You have to pay attention to what you’re doing.
Next game I plan on moving on to is “Red Dead Redemption”, the cowboy western game, I’ll start playing that game later on tonight. I was going to go on to “Bioshock 2” after this but other gamers have talked me into playing “Red Dead” next.
Well, there it is. I’m 16.2 % bodyfat with me being 146 lbs. Just found it out today. I asked the owner/trainer, if that was pretty good, and do you know what he said? He said it’s not too bad at all. Just like I was saying earlier. He said I should drop down a couple and then I’ll be good. If I drop down some more, my six pack abs would be a lot more visible. You see, this is why I was able to gain muscle in a short period of time because I had decent bodyfat. If you’re a skinny guy with low bodyfat, it makes bodybuilding much easier. So yeah, this tells me two things: 1) I’m gaining muscle, big time. 2) It also tells me I’m not obesed at all. The gym owner/trainer there also said, I am more healthier than most people in the gym.
My new goal is to drop down a couple in bodyfat. So that means I will have to get more strict on meals and do at least 20-30 minute cardio every day. I’m still studying nutrition. For breakfast, I would eat either eggs and Quaker Oats Whole Grains. Instead of using butter, I will use Omega 3 Fish spread from now on which is what I’ve been doing. I will have to eat more vegatables and tossed salad. I’m still trying to get better at eating and learning.
Will still have one cheat on the weekends only though ’cause I’m gonna still crave for my ice cream which is my favorite cheat.
So I’ll take 16.2% even though I plan to go lower. Pretty happy about this and feel good.
UFC star, Rampage Jackson’s apperance on WWE last night was a huge hit with WWE fans that, I’m seeing a lot of ’em want Rampage Jackson to join WWE full time. I agree, Rampage did a great job performing and he looked like a WWE superstar like I said. Will Rampage Jackson join the WWE full time in the future? Possibly more occasional appearances? Maybe not a full time run, but Rampage making occasional appearances to feud with Roddy Piper would be pretty cool.
Some of you may think that Rampage would not work for WWE, but if you knew about his personality and his ego, Rampage is clearly about the money. If WWE wants him, of course, I think he’ll go for it. Rampage almost quit UFC ’cause he claimed he wasn’t making enough money so he went to movies instead. After doing the “A-Team”, Rampage is back in UFC again. If Rampage leaves the UFC again in the future, who knows, maybe he will join WWE.
That was a good angle between Roddy Piper vs. Rampage last night. I hope WWE keeps that feud going.
I am still in shock from last night’s RAW. I’ll repeat, it was the best RAW in years. I see John Cena forming his own group so he can help battle the NXT guys for an 8 vs. 8 ppv match in the future. Who do I think should join John Cena’s 8 man group to fight the NXT guys? At the top of my head I predict: Randy Orton, Triple H, Evan Bourne, Kane, R-Truth, David Hart Smith, and Tyson Kidd.
Tomorrow when I go to the gym, I’m going to talk to the owner/personal trainer there to find out how much %’s bodyfat I have. If you’re getting into fitness, bodybuilding or whatever, it is important to know this that you need to know your bodyfat percentage. I’m about to find this out soon. I would like to learn to do it myself at home, but the owner at the gym says he has one of those electronic calliper things that does the work for ya. I believe the healthiest bodyfat percentage that you need to be in or under is 10%. I know it’s scary and it’ll make you nervous to know this but you need to, just so you can tell whether you are either gaining weight or gaining muscle.
Honestly, I shouldn’t be that bad. Looking at my progress pics, I am predicting to be a little around 10% – 11 %. I might have a little bit of flab to get rid of though. If I’m seeing a little bit of a six pack on the belly, I shouldn’t be that bad. If I’m a little more than 10, like I’ll have to get more strict on meals and concentrate on more jogging.
The key to getting ripped is eating right, plenty of resting after workouts, getting 8 to 9 hours of sleep every night, and training hard.
A little back posing. To explain the scar, yes, I had back surgery, but the surgery was years ago when I was a young teenager. Just showing off the back in a photo. It’ll take years ahead of me to get that Rambo look I want with the back, but I like what I see so far.
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last night’s RAW felt like the 90’s attitude era again! Holy shit! I was so surprised on how good last night’s “RAW Viewer’s Choice” 3 hour special was last night. It was a very good show all the way through. If the WWE keeps up the good work, WWE could get strong in the ratings again. Last night’s RAW, Sharlto Copley and Rampage Jackson were the guest host to promote the upcoming “A-Team” film. No, Liam Neeson and Bradley Cooper wasn’t there, just Sharlto and Rampage. I’m sure WWE wanted all 4 of the A-Team at RAW last night, but looked like Liam and Bradley turned it down and had something else to do.
Anyways, on with the show, Sharlto and Rampage Jackson were probably the best guest host by far. They were actually very entertaining and Rampage Jackson actually looked more of a WWE star than a UFC star. Rampage did a great job performing WWE even though he never did professional wrestling before. Great segment between Rampage, Roddy Piper, Gene Okerlund, Dusty Rhodes, and Ted Dibiase Jr.
I also loved the match with Kane vs. Sheamus.
The best part of last night’s RAW was the incredible ending. The ending, John Cena vs. CM Punk was the main event. The match was about to happen until it got interupted with the guys from the NXT TV show interupted the match. The guys you see in the picture above. NXT are WWE Rookies, young guys looking to get a shot at becoming WWE stars. Rookie, Wade Barrett won the competition. During John Cena’s match last night, the entire NXT roster entered the ring and surrounded John Cena. They started beating the hell out of him. They even went as far as destroying and wrecking the ring, even the announcer’s set.
I never felt this entertained at a RAW ever in a long time. Last night’s RAW was such a great show with good writing all around. Yeah I know, RAW has been boring for the past couple of years ’cause of these celebrity guest host things and the PG rating, but I’ll take it that last night was an amazing show.
There’s been a number of wrestling stables and wrestling groups over the years in the wrestling industry such as: The Corporate Ministry, DX, The Four Horseman, the nWo, etc. I think the NXT will be the best of them. It was a shocking ending to last night’s RAW and WWE needs more of this, shock factor. I never expected it. Great job to Vince McMahon and the rest of the WWE team.
Horror legend, John Carpenter is planning to direct his own remake of Bram Stoker’s “Dracula” with “Fangland” which is a novel written by John Marks. Carpenter to do another vampire movie again? Just to remind you, this isn’t the first time Carpenter did a vampire film. The first vampire film he did was “Vampires” back in 1998 that starred James Woods in the leading role. In “Fangland”, it’ll be about Dracula taken place in our current time. Hilary is set to play Evangeline Harker, who plays a TV producer similar to a news magazine like, 60 Minutes.
It’ll be great to see Carpenter back on the big screen! The last film he did was “Ghost of Mars” back in 2001. Big Carpenter fan here! Hopefully this vampire flick will be better than that piece of shit, “Daybreakers”.
