Why the young Han Solo had to be completely different than the full-grown Han Solo…

So I’ve just seen “Solo: A Star Wars” story earlier this afternoon. I thought the film was pretty damn enjoyable. I liked it a lot! Yes, the film did Star Wars justice all the way through!

There are a lot of complaints about this movie, though. Mostly the complaints are that the film’s leading star who plays the young Han Solo looks nothing like the Harrison Ford Han Solo. Well, after watching the actual film today, I would have to say Alden Ehrenreich does resemble Harrison a little bit if you actually look at him… it’s just that Alden and Harrison’s speaking voices are different. That’s what people are complaining about? I can understand why both had to be different. I mean, think about how silly would it be if a young Han Solo had to look like and speak exactly like Harrison. It would seem like a parody almost.

Another thing to keep in mind that when you’re young, your looks and speaking voices changes as you get older anyways. So in my opinion, it makes total sense to make both different. The film crew didn’t want the young Han to be exactly like the full grown Han. On top of that, it would be very hard to find someone who speaks like Harrison ’cause nobody could speak like Harrison anyways. There is only one Harrison and that is Harrison. There is not one person out there that can be like him although there are many actors out there who tries to impersonate him. They wanted someone who is not an exact copy of Harrison and Alden was the right fit.

With that being said, though, I thought Alden did a very good job. Even though the speaking voice was different, Alden got Han’s personality down perfectly, though. Alden did a good job showing what Han would have been like when he was young.

Other than that, though I thought the “Solo” movie was really good. It was well directed and well acted by the rest of the cast. Donald Glover did the young Lando really well and I was impressed with Emilia Clarke in the film. I also thought Woody Harrelson was awesome.

A lot of so-called Star Wars fans are complaining about the new SW’s films by Disney but why? Would you rather have George Lucas back? If you say “Yes” then George wouldn’t have done a better job. He would have made the new movies much much worse. Remember those awful prequels? Yeah, I thought so. I’m glad Lucas is gone ’cause I wasn’t a big fan of the prequels either. I saw all the new Star Wars movies in theater so far: Episode 7, Episode 8, Rogue One and now Solo. I love them all. I think Disney is doing a great job so far and doing them justice.

Anyhow, back to the “Solo” film, I feel this is gonna be a trilogy of some sorts ’cause the ending left open for more. Will there be a sequel to Solo? I think there will be ’cause Jabba needs to come in and have a feud with Han still. Remember Jabba and Han were feuding over money and stuff and I was hoping they would show all that stuff in a future film soon. Maybe Jabba will be in “Solo II”? Hopefully there will be a “Solo II” ’cause I can’t see this film ending right here.

Facebook getting rid of its trending news section as a way to battle “controversial” news… seriously??? It’s just a way to help Dems win the midterms, nice try though, Zuck!

This one is just funny. This is FB’s definition of “controversial” trending news the way I look at it: any news that makes Pres. Trump and conservatives looks good. to them that makes it controversial. Ever since FB launched the trending news in 2014, they had a tough time trying to battle trending news sites that puts Trump and conservatives in a positive light. Conservatives called “liberal bias” in the trending news and Glenn Beck was one of the first ones to point it out. Of course, Suckerberg immediately denied “liberal bias” and ended up having a meeting with Glenn Beck ’cause of it.

Later on, to battle “conservative” news, Suckerberg did something else by having a pop up message when you post news links and it shows you where you get your source from.

http://www.businessinsider.com/facebook-removes-trending-news-section-from-homepage-2018-6

FB is trying very hard to battle conservative news, they want to get rid of it all and stop people from talking about conservative things that’s why conservative news has been trying to trend more and more. Now it looks like Suckerberg is gonna get rid of the trending news completely.

FB and twitter are both trying their best to battle conservative news. How is twitter doing it? Well when conservative news stories start trending on twitter, Jack will just simply delete  itoff the trending section. Another way twitter battles conservative news is that they censor conservatives and Trump supporters on twitter by simply shadow banning people, suspending their accounts, deleting tweets, etc.

Deal with it lefties…. conservatism is HUGE again. It really is and it’s obvious liberals can’t take it. All the censorship and liberal bias in social networking is just a way to help Dems win the midterms which isn’t happening. It’s a shame, though ’cause I used to like FB and twitter and both are starting to drive me up the wall. Fuck Mark Suckerberg and Jack Dorsey… both of them are scum bags.

Happy 88th birthday, Clint Eastwood!!!

Regardless of what you think of his politics, the man is still a legend. Clint Eastwood is no doubt a legend and icon in the movie business. Clint is celebrating his 88th birthday today. The man is still alive and well. He is still directing movies even to this day. He sometimes still do some acting in his own movies that he directs like in “Million Dollar Baby” and “Gran Torino” which are both great movies.

I’ve been a huge Clint Eastwood fan for years. Grew up watching his movies. I haven’t watched a lot of Clint’s old Western movies but I fucking love “The Good, The Bad and the Ugly”. I also love “High Plains Drifter” and “A Fistful of Dollars”. He has done many other great movies like the Dirty Harry series, “The Unforgiven”, “In the Line of Fire”, “Pink Cadillac”, “True Crime”, “Space Cowboys”, “Blood Work”, “Mystic River”, “Changeling”, “American Sniper” and so many others.

Happy Birthday, Clint! The man is a badass and still is!

Noticing some development on the pecs finally… how am I doing it?

In the past, I used to avoid lifting weights for pecs and just did chest workouts just using body workouts alone like push-ups mostly. Push-ups are good for pecs yes and they do help, but if you want to get even more definition on the pecs lifting weights are the way to do it. I experimented with barbell bench pressing for a little while, but I love doing dumbbell presses the most, though. I’ve been sticking with dumbbell presses  on the floor for a little over a month now and I’m noticing some real results. I’ve also been doing dumbbell flies too ’cause it’s important to do both the pressing and the squeezing when doing dumbbells for the chest. It’s also important to do regular dumbbell presses and incline dumbbell presses. So I’ve been doing all three for a little over a month now: dumbbell presses on the floor, incline dumbbell bench press and dumbbell flies.

A lot lately, I’ve been noticing some results on my chest pecs. They’re starting to shape up a little bit. I’m noticing my pecs getting slightly bigger too and I am feeling it which is good. I’ve also been lifting heavier weights doing the dumbbell presses and that’s also been helping. For dumbbell flies you don’t need a lot of weight for that as I’ve been doing 25 lbs. on it but for the dumbbell presses, I’ve been doing anywhere from 40 lbs – 45 lbs. Another way that’s been helping my chest development is that yoga has been helping too ’cause yoga is also a full body workout.

I’m getting strict on nutrition again. I’ve been doing a lot of stretching exercises and yoga. I’ve also been doing plenty of cardio too. I’m doing my best to become the best shape of my life. I feel that I already am in great shape but still got a lot of work to do though. I’ve been going to the gym 4 times a week each week which is going good so far. I’m going to stick with that all year round, I think.

I’ll be going on vacation pretty soon later this summer. I’ll be going to Cape Cod; going to the ocean and stuff like that. Can’t wait to walk around the beach shirtless. A lot of people like to workout during the Spring/Summer so they can be beach ready. That’s nice but that’s not exactly what I do this for, though. Fitness is a lifestyle for me. I’m in it for life. I do want to look great for the beach, don’t get me wrong.

It’s good to finally notice some chest definition. I’ll post pics soon to prove it.

Tom Cruise confirms “Top Gun: Maverick” is his next film and it just started filming…

After completing work of the latest MI movie, “Mission Impossible: Fallout”… it looks like Tom Cruise, Jerry Bruckheimer and Paramount Pictures aren’t wasting any time on the upcoming “Top Gun” sequel and getting right to work on it right away. The next Top Gun movie is simply titled: “Top Gun: Maverick”.

The cast is unknown at this time and so far the only cast confirmed for this movie is, of course, Tom Cruise. I’m sure the film crew will start the casting while the movie is filming. This means that Tom is filming all the jet flying scenes first? That’s what it’s looking like to me.

Anyhow, I’m sure we’re going to see some familiar faces from the first movie. Will Val Kilmer come back as the Iceman? Hopefully. Will Kelly McGillis reprise her role as Charlie? Hopefully. I think those two needs to come back and it’s a possibility. Will Tom Skerritt return as the Viper? Who knows. We’ll just have to wait and find out.

I’m glad this movie is happening ’cause I love the first movie so much. I know Tom has a lot of haters out there but I never understood why. I think the man is an amazing actor, in my opinion. In fact, I am a huge fan and always has been. I’m not afraid to admit that I grew up watching his movies over the years of my life and you did too despite his Scientology beliefs. Love him or hate him all you want but he’s been in some good films over the years.

Can’t wait for Top Gun 2 and I’m sure they’ll do the film justice and make it more like the first one.

Kim Kardashian hangs out with President Trump in the oval office… yes this is for real…

Well this one is unprecedented. Kim Kardashian, a die-hard liberal who doesn’t really hate the president? Wow. It may seem weird and all the liberals in America are thinking to themselves, “WTF?”. People would expect somebody like Kim K. to hate the president, but they are probably shocked to find out she has nothing against him. Yeah, no doubt Kim K. is a very liberal woman, so it looks like Kanye taught her well. I bet it was Kanye who taught her to respect and love the president. Is Kim a Trump supporter as well? It’s looking more and more likely that she is a secret supporter.

Anyhow, the reason she is there is ’cause she wants President Trump to pardon her great-grandmother who was jailed over non-violent drug offense and she was also there to talk to Trump about prison reform.

After Sylvester Stallone and now Kim K. visiting the president, other celebs should take note.

You don’t have to agree with Trump’s politics but that also means you don’t have to go hating on him either. It is possible to disagree with people but love them anyway. You should try it, liberals. It’s not that hard. It’s understandable that celebrities wants certain things from the president but hating on the guy is not how to get things done. Why don’t they try talking to the president himself to get things done? That’s what Kim K. and Sylvester Stallone just did. They worked with him instead of hating.

It may seem weird but I am liking Kim K. more and more. I think I’m a fan of hers now.

Thoughts on this whole Roseanne getting cancelled over tweet joking about Valerie Jarrett thing… just more double standards and left-wing hypocrisy… nothing to see here, y’all…

roseanne-supporters-want-bill-maher-fired-for-double-standard-ftr.jpg

Some of you are probably wondering what my thoughts about this are by now. Ya know, Roseanne show getting canceled all of a sudden over a tweet Roseanne herself posted on twitter making fun of former Obama official, Valerie Jarrett. The reason Roseanne is in hot water for this is ’cause Roseanne made a joke about comparing Valerie Jarrett to Planet of the Apes and Muslim Brotherhood. Of course, liberals and the die-hard left are outraged… calling her racist and they’ve even gone as far as calling Roseanne supporters racist too. Sickening.

When will the left ever apologize for their harassment and bullying toward people who don’t think the same way they do? The left has said 10x’s much worse things to people on the right. So it’s okay to call Donald Trump an ape too? It’s okay to make fun of his weight and pick on his so-called health problems? It’s okay to pick on his hair and other things???

It’s okay for the left to call conservatives all kinds of nasty and horrible names like racists, white supremacists, nazis, misogynists, bigots, homophobes, teabaggers, islamaphobic and on and on and  on????

It’s okay for left-wing TV personalities such as Bill Maher, Joy Behar, Kimmel, Keith Olberman, Rosie O’ Donnell and others to spew their hatred toward Trump and conservatives?

This is the media’s view of the world: it’s good to be a liberal and bad to be conservative. Messed up.

As far as Roseanne comparing Valerie Jarrett to an ape and a Muslim, she did nothing wrong, in my opinion. I thought it was funny and she’s so right on that. Liberals are upset ’cause it’s racist and Valerie is a black woman. Really? Um, no. Valerie is not a black woman at all. If you look at her skin, she’s definitely white. I don’t see how it’s racist at all. Just stupid libtards looking for a reason to call Roseanne a racist.

This whole thing was planned out and orchestrated by the media. They wanted Roseanne’s show pulled off the air and they got it. They waited for Roseanne to say something stupid and they jumped in on the opportunity to make her look bad. This is just more liberal double standards and hypocrisy like usual.

The left never gets hold to account for their horrible things they said and did, but it’s conservatives are always the ones that are getting in trouble. It’s so sickening.

Never apologize to the left; no matter how outraged and offended they get. I never did. We’re in an age where conservatives get in trouble for saying certain things even if there’s nothing wrong with them. Always stick to your guns and never cave into the left. I never did.

Roseanne didn’t do anything wrong and you know it, too. She got attacked ’cause of her support for Trump and for her “free thinking” beliefs. Period. End of story. When it was announced that Roseanne’s comeback show was going back to ABC, I predicted ABC would be the wrong network for it after the same network cancelled “Last Man Standing” over politics.

I’m tired of the ass-kissing toward Obama and his former administration officials.

Once again Valerie isn’t black, she’s an Iranian woman. She’s not African-American at all, lol. So what Roseanne did wasn’t racist.

I’m tired of the term “racist”. Most overused term in history. Come up with new attacks, idiots.

With all this being said, I stand with Roseanne Barr. All this makes me love her even more now. Her show will possibly be moved over to FOX which means even bigger ratings.

Why I got into bodybuilding & fitness… just a little story…

Some of you may ask… why did I get into bodybuilding and fitness? Well let me tell you something. I got into it for a few reasons.

  • I was always small and skinny: Before I started bodybuilding, I didn’t have much muscle on me. I didn’t have any interest in exercise and used to be a lazy person admittedly. I wanted to do something with myself and start to get active in some kind of physical sport. I can’t play sports due to my scoliosis and due to having a Harrington Rod. I could never play football, baseball, basketball or none of that stuff. The only sport that I could probably do was bodybuilding so I picked that. I was also inspired to get into bodybuilding by watching pro wrestling and action movies and I wanted that muscle look for myself. Of course, Arnold Schwarzenegger inspired me through his competitions and stuff.
  • I just wanted to have a healthy lifestyle: Before I got into the bodybuilding world, I was a junk food addict. I was also a soda addict, drinking a lot of soda and eating all kinds of junk like chocolate and candy. I also used to be an occasional alcohol drinker. I was never an alcoholic, just an occasional drinker and I used to smoke weed once in a while too. After thinking about all this, I’m like, “My god, what am I doing to myself?” I got into bodybuilding to change my life and get healthier and it’s working. I figure it’s finally time to grow up and be a real man.
  • Getting picked on and bullied by people also motivated me: This is another big reason why I got into this. I’ve had too many people pick on me over the years ’cause I’m different. I got into bodybuilding hoping to get a bigger body and maybe then people would think twice before they decide to treat me the wrong way. I’m not a violent person at all but the bigger your body is, the more people will leave you alone. Trust me on that.
  • Just simply wanted something different to do: Another reason I got into this is simply because I was bored and wanted something different to do. Something fun and interesting. Wanted something that will keep me busy and active and this was it for me.
  • Hoping to impress the ladies: Forgot to add this one in here. Yeah, I’m not gonna lie about this either. I got into this hoping to attract more women. A lot of men will never admit they got into it for this reason too.

Everybody has different reasons for wanting to get into bodybuilding well these are mine so enjoy.

In the beginning when I first started, I didn’t know what I doing. I was totally shit but as I got older and years go along, I’ve gotten better at the bodybuilding thing. Now I’m taking it more seriously than ever before and going to the gym 4 times a week and eating right most of the time.

My dream is to be the best of shape of my life and try to get big as possible. People are already saying that I’m getting pretty big in size, but to be honest, I still have a lot of work to do.

I love bodybuilding. My second passion behind music.

What bothers me about the local musicians community is how cliquey it really is…

I’ve been a part of the local musicians community for a little over a decade now. When I talk about this stuff, I know some are gonna call me crazy and not gonna believe me but fuck ’em. Let them believe what they want to believe. I’m just gonna tell my truth like I always do and tell everything the way I see it.

I love live music and I love other musicians but, I’m not afraid to be real when it comes to music and that’s what I’m all about. So get ready for some hard truth, y’all.

Yeah, this music scene around the Albany and Saratoga Springs of the Capital Region is a pretty cliquey scene. When you see promoters out there trying to make it seem like that they support all local music, don’t be quick into believing in that ’cause it’s all a bunch of bullshit. It really is. All the promoters, local music blogs and local music websites try to make it seem like they support all local music but they don’t really. The truth is, they are only supportive and more friendlier to bands & musicians that are already successful. Those are the bands & music artists that they mostly support.

Now hear me out… if you’re in a band or a solo acoustic artist who has already had some success like have a large following, played some big theaters and open for national acts then chances are you’re going get write ups by the local music press. They ignore the lesser known musicians and ignore the so-called amateurs who try their best to make it somewhere.

It’s the same thing with other musicians and bands around the area. Many of the bands especially the more prominent and established bands won’t support you unless you have success yourself. If you’re less successful and if you just play music for the love of it aka a hobby kind of thing, these musicians will treat you like you’re nothing.

That’s one thing that always pisses me off about this fucking music scene, you see. The pros and more successful musicians treating the amateurs/hobbyist musicians like they’re fuckin’ nobodies. They’ll think they’re more superior and more important than you. They’ll treat you like you’re below their level. Supporting definitely seems like a one-way street around here. No doubt, a lot of pros and established musicians around here aka the more prominent musicians can be such huge egos and I’ve always said that.

The problem with this scene is that many musicians want to think they’re rock stars, but many of them will never admit that, though. With me, I was never into music to become a star ’cause that’s never been my thing. I never cared for that. If I don’t get to play the bigger stages and don’t get to open for national acts, that’s fine by me. I just want to make music and that’s it.

It’s interesting how this music scene treats musicians. Some of it’s good and some of it’s not. They’re not supportive of everybody. They’re very selective. Not sure why they make lies about supporting everybody. In my eyes, though, there is no such thing as being a rock star. We’re all musicians… and one thing to point out, though, that the less successful musicians doesn’t mean they aren’t successful. We’ve all had some success in some ways. I mean, it disgusts me how this scene puts down the musicians that are struggling. When a musician goes to an open mic night and plays a few songs or books an actual gig at a bar that’s success in my eyes. Success doesn’t always have to mean performing in a huge theater with a crowd over 1,000. As long as you’re out there performing live whether a small crowd or big crowd, that is success too.

I used to go out to support the local music scene all the time when I was younger. I used to play my own gigs and support other band gigs but I don’t do that shit anymore. After what I’ve seen and what I’ve experienced throughout the years of local music, I don’t think I’m interested in it much anymore. It’s a big turn off of what I’ve seen out there ’cause the Capital District music scene is pretty crazy, trust me on that.

With that being said, I’ll always play music myself, though. I’ll never give it up ’cause I love music and it’s what I do. Will I ever play live again? I would like to at some point but we’ll see how it goes.

This is the most negative music scene I’ve ever seen and continues to be to this day. Too much negativity and too much musicians being critical of others. I can go on. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve been disrespected around here, lol. This area has a lot of problems and it should be easy to see that. A lot of egos and jealousy is a huge problem for sure.

What’s even worse about this music scene is how mostly liberal it is with political views. A lot of musicians and music promoters out there are pretty liberal. I’ll never forget the day when Donald Trump won the election, a lot of local musicians complained and bitched about it publicly. That was entertaining and I’ll never forget it. There are many musicians that refuse to support me ’cause of my conservative views and I’m not lying about that either. Musicians refused to add me in Facebook ’cause of it and refused to follow me back on twitter ’cause of it too. Crazy. Ya know, I’ll support a band and music artist no matter what their political views are. If you’re a liberal so be it, I’ll still support you, but if they don’t want to support me in return… that’s fine so be it.

This scene never changes and it’s still pretty much the same. Not all musicians are good people, there are some real douchebags out there and I’m not gonna name names.

Don’t get me wrong, though, I still do support local bands some but I only support the ones if I really dig their music a lot. There are a few local bands that I like a lot still.

What I’m trying to say is that local music scenes are not always good. There are gonna be some positives and negatives. Stop living under the delusion that it’s gonna be positive all the time. You will go through some ups and downs as I know I have of what I went through over the years.
